I would have like it a lot more if they would have cleaned the rooms! The mattress were disgusting and it didn't look like anyone had cleaned in there since the last time some of my friends were in the same room!

There is no way that some kid was put in a leaky tent and then a bathroom for a week. This story sounds contrived or outright baloney.
Spent a lot of time here as a kid growing up through my church. Maranatha is a great place and I have a lot of fond memories from the summer months.
Understand the camp works entirely off donations. If you're expecting a hotel experience this probably isn't the place for you. Most of us, whether we were up in a cabin or one of the tents, honestly didn't care. Ideally if you send your kids make sure and have them go with some of their friends. In the end, it's a lot of fun and I wouldn't trade any of my time out there for anything.
Our entire family of 6 had a great time! It was fun, refreshing, and encouraging. Great staff and well organized. We can't wait to come back.
I go to this camp every summer! The staff is so kind and encouraging and they care for you. It is a great place to visit to feel closer to God. the worship in the mornings and evenings is amazing. The bible studies are outstanding. The food is excellent. I will continue to go and I will recommend that others go too!
We go to Maranatha every year for the fellowship, the beauty, and the fun. It is a wonderful special place. My kids look forward to it more and more each year.
