Great customer service. Very friendly and helped me find what I needed.

Large, well-stocked hardware store with neatly organized goods. Polite, knowledgeable staff. A friendly checker got another employee to find exactly the right item for me -- which cost under $2.00. That didn't stop him from measuring several items and taking time to be sure I got what I needed to fix my mother's favorite side table. Considerate and professional -- I look forward to returning for more help and supplies to repair the flood damage to Mom's house.

Best place to get a propane tank refilled. Everyone is really helpful.

I have a 2002 Toyota Sequoia and I had a worn-out transponder key which would take me up to 5 minutes to start the vehicle. So I got a new transponder key for $80 and now my vehicle starts right away.

False advertising! Horrible experience, don t order items online. They should basically not have an online store because it s false advertisement . They had in store purchase (you had to come in the store)and they had online purchase options (Limit of 5, if you try to get more it drops it back to 5 at check out. I purchased 4 cans of Lysol online, same as I was able to purchase in store about a couple of weeks ago. Same as my friend purchased in store. Morgan said Jacob the manager told her they could only do one can per customer. If you have 1 per customer limit, the same person that put the limit to 5 online should put it to 1. This is no honor to your customers that frequent your business, that call others to say, Did you know Ace in Gonzales has the Lysol in stock? Advertise what your business offers correctly or do what any respectful business does honor the customers order.
**The website is still allowing people to go on and purchase up to 5 by the way!

Don't pass them up to go to overpriced warehouse chains.

Close by my house my first time going. They have a friendly staff, and I found what I needed. With them being close by it's convenient I'll be back.

I love going to this place. I visit a lot of hardware stores and this one is one of the best. They have just about everything you d need for any project around the house. They also have equipment that I happen to love: Stihl is my favorite! So far, I ve purchased a Stihl string trimmer and a chain saw. Stihl has some of the best equipment out there. And, he carries an extensive line of them. Hutch s also has Gravely zero-turn mowers. I appreciate the friendly help there. They greet you upon entering and thank you for your patronage when you leave. Upon entering, they ask you if they can help you find anything. If you tell them what you re looking for, they ll walk you to it and stay to answer any questions you have. They will also let you browse without interruption, too. And, no hard sales pitch. They just try to help you get what you need and help make the right choice for the job. You should give them a try if you haven t already!

Family business where every customer is treated like family

Good service, you don't find many places like this anymore. They have a wide variety of hardware, cooking equipment like smoker, bbq pits, fryers, pots, paddles, etc. They also have a complete line of mowers, trimmers,parts, etc.

Always friendly, eager to help and if you need parts or need a new gravely mower that's the place to go.

Nice place and they care about their customers and the community.

I am not the handiest girl around, but with help from the friendliest staff at hutch's, I now have two successful projects complete. I couldn't recommend them more :)

Horrible online experience. How can you advertise you have Lysol then call the next day to say you are are only allowing 1 per customer? Why advertise a limit of 4? You had to have knowledge of your supply before you set up online ordering. The person who called stated that the owner decided to only allow 1 per customer because they had so many orders. Is it my fault that I purchased online before others (probably family and friends) did? Piss poor customer service and ownership. Refund my money and cancel my order.

Rodan chainsaw for repairs was greeted by one of the managers by name it felt good that the manager recognize me from previous patronage. Their work is always been good at reasonable price and promptly.

Depends on who helps you here. Several workers act like they're doing you a favor by helping, or that you're inconveniencing them by asking for help. Gentleman acted like I was asking something unreasonable when I asked him if they had a different size. 10 minutes later, he was helping someone else as I still waited.

Been shopping there for years. Excellent service and selection.

Hitch comes off a bit pompous and hadn't been real nice to me. I just want to get the personal stuff out of the way. The store is well equipped and the staff are both helpful and knowledgeable. I would rate the store high, maybe a 5. Hitch just embarrassed me and it was hurtful. If you need good hardware, Hutch's is the place.
