Went in for service and left with splash guard issues. Long story short, the customer service here is really condescending. I was genuinely curious about exactly what and where was damaged and they just gave blank states and treated me like I was a waste of their time.

Took care of a recall quickly. Customer service was super nice as well. Technician did an amazing job. He was thorough and knowledgeable . Overall excellent experience.
AWFUL I rate them ZERO stars. Poor customer service skills. The person I spoke with over the phone was not professional at all. I asked him to e-mail me their prices and he refused to do it. Either he was not willing to sell anything or just sell whatever HE WANTED. I asked to be transferred to someone else who was willing to sell vehicles and spoke to Tom. He took my information down but never e-mailed or called me. I tried their chat option and I explained to Nicole about the incident after she told me I was going to be contacted by someone else but once again, she did not care. It is pretty clear that all they want is your money. I do not recommend this dealership. Just avoid the hassle and go somewhere else.
That was my worst experience EVER dealing with a car dealership.... They did a bate & swich on me. They told me it would be one price the first day & it ended up be a lot more the second day... I also asked for the paperwork work from the first day & they said they lost it.... The salesman also said he didn t know what he was doing because he was new & I asked him how long he was working there & he said 8 months & I said that is not new.... They he went on to say he was from Jamacia & newly married & he needs this job.... He just took me for a fool & robbed me without a gun.... They tell you one price, which was lower & after they take your trade-in it is a higher price. They also lied to me at the beginning about how much they were giving me for my trade-in which was $1000 & when they wrote up the paperwork it was hundreds of dollars lower. When I noticed that the car was more ($1000) & asked to go over the paperwork I saw what they did... This was after they took my old car from me... (I was there for hours, I got there at 3:30pm & they made me sit there until almost closing time to get my car).. Also during that time I asked to dead the deal & give me back my old car & they told me it was to late.. After the deal was done they had the nerve to ask me for $500 & I asked what for & they said to get the deal done & I said I thought it was done & I had to call my boyfriend to give me $500 more.... At that point, they told me that this car in this color was very, very, very hard to get & they wouldn t have my new car for days... I went back to the dealership the next day to give back the car or adjust my paperwork & they went from acting cordial to acting nasty to me & Mohammed said he would call the police on me if I didn t leave or if I came back to the Honda dealership.... I would NEVER buy a car from that place again!!!!
So far, so good but my final evaluation depends on whether I get a bill for the vehicle that I turned in. If I do get a bill, I m leaving Honda for Toyota
Vixamar was my salesperson, and he was very nice and helpful . The whole staff was very friendly. I got a brand new 2018 civic coupe. Out of all the Honda dealers, Huntington had the best offer!
Less than desired service visit. Would not recommend this dealership. Overheard a service advisor using foul language when replying to an associate, cashier never said thank you and clearly doesn t understand how to properly address a customer after paying for service, as she slides the receipt over and says here you go , and my low tire pressure light came on a few minutes after leaving despite the elaborate explanation I. The receipt that they checked the tire pressure as part of the multi point service. Very poor service.
I purchased 3 cars from Huntington Honda... and as usual HH helped me find a great car within my budget! They're always friendly & accommodating and their cars last forever.
John approached me within 5 seconds of entering the dealership. I was test driving a Honda clarity within 2 minutes. i was able to get the insane deal on a 2018 plug in hybrid electric model within 15 minutes. After some hassles with the insurance company (entirely not his fault), i drove the new Honda home directly from that dealership. I highly recommend.
Traveled many miles from NJ to Huntington Honda....it was worth it. Drove away in a car as good as a new one (except for the miles on the odometer) because they replace all fluids, brakes etc as prep for sale. Friendly staff willing to go the extra mile to assist customers.
My daughter went in to close out her lease and buy the car. When the salesman heard that we did not want to lease another car, he gave us the run around for over an hour. Then, the salesman shifted us over to the sales manager who also gave us the run around for another hour. He tried to upsell aftercare insurance and gave us a ridiculous finance rate. Then, he told us to come back because the paperwork was not ready. Terrible experience.
Jessica in the service department had me in and out in an hour! for something that could have potentially had me there all day. she was a dream to work with, and made the entire process just seamless. i ll be requesting her each and every time!
They got great deals , the number jumped up a little from the deal they had presented at the end. Still was a solid deal. But the treatment for a busy dealership was horrible they had uncomfortable chairs no snacks no nothing not even a bottle of water they had for the consumers. Had to wait 6 hours after the deal was made for the vehicle was also a downfall and very frustrating especially that they had no accommodations for the wait time.
We usually go here for service to our Honda but probably not anymore. Our car was dropped off for service and we checked off what we wanted completed. They called during the day to recommend performing two more services. After we picked up the car we realized they never did the inspection which is one of the reasons why we brought the car in for service in the first place! Their service department only cares about up selling and getting you to spend more money. Go to a local mechanic you will get what you need for a better price.
I went to buy a used car because I needed to reduce my monthly car payment. From start to finish the experience I had at this dealership completely revised my impression on the stereotypical used car salesman. Steve, the manager who helped my find my car was very concerned about me finding exactly the right car for me. He took his time and explained and showed me all the options in my price range. When the car I wanted didn't quite meet my monthly payment objective he brought in Dave the Sales Manager who couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Together they were able to work it out so that I got a car that made me happy at a price I could afford. Georgia, the finance manager worked hard to find me a great interest rate, made sure I had what I needed and didn't try to push me into buying a bunch of extras. As surprised as I am to be saying this, (because of the reputation that used car sales has) all three of the people I dealt with truly seemed to bend over backwards to make sure I had a great experience and got the car I wanted at the right price.
I HIGHLY recommend the three professionals I dealt with at Huntington Honda and would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a high quality used car at a very good price!
I called two days ago and spoke to a woman about a Pilot posted on their website. She told me it was available so I made an appointment to see it. She said she would check an hour before my appointment to make sure it's still available and let me know. I waited 20 minutes before I called and left a voicemail asking the status of the vehicle. I called again an hour later and left another voicemail with a manager. Still no response the next day I called and spoke to another salesman (Christian). I explained what happened the day before and he tells me it's strange the woman was going to call me at 5p because she leaves at 230. No apologies but says the vehicles still available and I make an appointment with him to see the Pilot. I call half an hour before I arrive which was a total of an hour and a half drive with my pregnant wife and 1 year old. When I arrive Christian hands us off to Ben (another salesman) who tries to get my wife to look at a different Pilot. She told him a few times "we're only interested in the one we spoke to Christian about." He sits us down and asks us if we've driven the vehicle and that we can try a different one. I asked him if they had the vehicle because I'm not interested in any other color. He leaves and when he returns says " I'm gonna be completely honest with you, it sold an hour ago." I get pissed off because if this is true I could have been told when I called half an hour prior to my arrival. I find the manager who was a rude unapologetic little man. I said if you just sold it, prove it. He shows me a small orange ticket and giggles " your not going to understand what it says." All I see at the bottom of the ticket was "Trans. Damage" I said "really?! Transmission damage is the proof your showing me?" As we are walking out the dealership I'm told "it's not transmission damage, it's transport damage." BS BS BS Don't waste your time if you have a specific model in mind. Be prepared for lies, just to get you through the door. This is the third Honda dealer to lie to me and I'm done with Honda all together. They are not even apologetic when they waste your time.
The sales staff was very knowledgeable and all of them were very pleasant. I have bought many vehicles in the past and I always research the potential purcharse before going to a dealership. It was truly a pleasurable experience buying a vehicle at Huntington Honda. If you give them a visit, I'm confident you'll come to the same conclusion as I did.
This was my first experience purchasing a vehicle and everything was far more pleasant than I had anticipated. This was the first dealership we visited and after visiting others, we decided to return to Huntington Honda as we were most satisfied with their vehicle, price, and service. Sadrac was incredibly friendly and helped walk me through each step of the process. I was personally shopping for a crossover so the Honda CR-V caught my attention. Sadrac was sure to clarify the differences between each model of the vehicle so I knew exactly what I was getting. I very much appreciated that he did not badger me about my career or how much money I make when showing interest in the vehicle. We simply sat and negotiated a price. I highly recommend Sadrac due to his professionalism and friendliness.
Gary was very straightforward and easy to deal with. Showed cars we were interested in and within our budget. We picked out our car and negotiated a price with an hour of getting there. Would definitely recommend when buying a Honda on Long Island much easier then other dealerships we visited
Although the salesman was attentive when dealing with Finance Manager nothing but fast talk, hard sell of additions and even when mistake made no follow-up by anyone. Have been purchasing Honda brand for many many years from different dealers and this purchase was a disappointing experience.
I came here to get my first car, and I couldn t be happier. I was kind of skeptical and had a very low budget, but JL was miraculously able to fit my impossible standards and making the process as frictionless as possible, and now I have an amazing car. I highly recommend JL and Huntington Honda to anyone else in the market for a new car.
Came here on Sunday 8/25/19 to potentially lease a new Civic LX. The salesman I dealt with, Raul, made this experience very smooth, simple and clear. When I asked about lease promotions on the vehicle I was interested in, he told me a surprisingly fair price. I was expecting to have to haggle (this is a dealership after all) but the price he gave me was very very fair and negotiating was not necessary. I wanted to adjust some of the terms of the lease (higher miles per year, lower down payment) and again, very fair prices are provided. Instead of paying $2,000 down I wanted to divide that among the monthly payments. I was in shock when Raul told me it was as simple as dividing that $2,000 by the 36 month lease period then adding that amount to each monthly payment. Most dealerships are NOT that simple and when you want to adjust the lease terms that's where a lot of confusion and angry customers come from. But with Raul it was amazingly simple and clear.
After hearing how fair of a price Huntington Honda was offering this Civic LX for, I wanted to take a test drive. Raul pulled up the test drive LX and off we went. While testing the vehicle he explained all of the features and functions of the car. He walked me through enabling and disabling all of the available functions of the vehicle and taught me how to cycle through different angles on the back up camera. Every little detail in the car was thoroughly explained to me before we even made a deal.
Shawn was the financial guy in my deal and I was very happy with the work he provided as well. I am a young person so my credit is not very established and he explained that to me. He gave me some tips to increase my credit and was very informative.
After I was approved for the lease, Shawn congratulated me and I left the dealership (couldn't drive away that day as it was late afternoon on a Sunday and their prep crew wasn't available) The next day I came back to pick up my new Civic LX and I met back up with Raul at the desk I sat down at with him the day prior. There was a small mistake in the original lease agreement (read 10,000 miles per year as opposed to the 12,000 per year Raul and I agreed upon) but after pointing this out Raul had Shawn print out a new, correct lease agreement. Once all of the numbers were correct, i initialed and signed and was then handed the keys for my new baby. Raul walked me out and he went over all the features once more and then I was on my way.
Really couldn't be happier with Huntington Honda you have gotten a life long customer from me and I can't wait to see what you guys will be offering in the future when I bring this car back home to you guys.
Always easy to work with when servicing our cars. Willing to give a loaner if/when the work is going to take time, do you are not stuck sitting, and waiting. Employees are friendly, as well.
Just went in today to see what options they had for colors for the HR-V...initially told rep a friend knows the manager there and will wait for him to be in to move forward...wasted maybe total of 10 minutes of the sales rep Preet s time...took me across the street to show me the car as their normal pitch and then asked me to stay around n just run it by the manager on duty as his norm before I leave...little does this professional manager realize I m standing right there as he s rude to his sales rep and asks him why the hell is he even here? If I m waiting for the other manager...tell him I m just here to see the car there is nothing wrong with that...doesn t even respond back n pretends like nothing happened...true professionalism from a manager...can t wait to see how one is treated n talked to when I have a problem with a purchased car...thank you Preet sorry for the loss of a sale...
Very honest people, what ever they advertise is the real deal . They help the customer with out punching them. It was in and out. I purchased the 20-20 pilot for my wife. Very Nices vehicle.
I had a wonderful time at Huntington Honda on both 2/11/2020 and 2/13/2020. Anthony Hunter , our sales person , was the best person for the job. Mr. Hunter met us on both days, explained every detail of the lease, and had us in the 2020 Civic on friday afternoon. In adddition Mr. Hunter also handled the return of our 2017 Civic. This was probably the best experience after leasing four (4) Honda Civics from Huntington Honda.
Excellent experience and very knowledgeable salesman. I ended up making a deal and being very satisfied in just one visit. I am a loyal customer of Huntington Honda for more than 15 years and would recommend the dealership highly.
Very professional and courteous service I recommend Huntington Honda to service your Honda.I have returned to Huntington Honda and again I was given great service and I recommend this dealer and service department.
One of the most rip off dealerships they will tell you anything is possible just to sell you the car but once you buy they just act like they don t know you and AK might got a lot awards but honestly don t trust a word from thing guy
Bilal was excellent very helpful and knowledgeable it was mine and my wife s first time leasing a car in 60 years and he made it as smooth and easy as possible, and guided us throughout the way. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car from Huntington Honda.
Steve is absolutely wonderful. Very outgoing, friendly and hilarious! He was very helpful. He was in no shape or form demanding he was fabulous. EXCELLENT! I have no other words to describe him! I couldn't have asked for a better person to sell me a car honestly! ASK FOR STEVE!
Leigh Charity made the purchase of my new Pilot a pleasure. From test drive to delivery she worked hard to make sure I got what I wanted. And Bob Hertzka handled the financial end in a respectful and efficient manner.
This is my 6th car leasing from Huntington Honda love the cars and service but every three years when go to re-new and lease another car takes all day we were there from 1230pm to 430 was told come back to pick up new car went back at 530 left at 700 the process take way too long been long time customer the negotiating time and pricing for a repeat customer was crazy and too time consuming need to make it easier especially for a excellent customer like myself
EVERYONE within the staff I ve worked with from sales to service have always been attentive and very respectful! This is also a child friendly environment.
Dealing with Service Dept. Manager, Aaron, was positive, professional, & productive. From my very first phone call to set up an appointment, Aaron went above & beyond to accommodate. I was very pleased with the service performed, & attribute this mostly to the exemplary performance of Aaron. It's a very reassuring feeling to know that whatever the problem, it will be addressed & rectified!
I came in a with a complicated situation, a lease that was way over mileage with superficial damage to the doors. Despite my current situation I walked out with a great deal and a brand new car. Roevelle from sales and Mike from financing were incredibly patient and helpful. I cant thank them enough!
I was going to get my third honda, however the service at this showroom and how they dealt with my family was so poor that I will be looking else where. So disappointing...
Response to Honda below- we tired to talk to one of your managers on the day this happened and we told them that our weekend was ruined by this experience, the manager responded sarcastically with, "Well, you still have Sunday"
Just had a wonderful experience buying a car at Huntington Honda, in the middle of this pandemic! The car was sanitized and ready for a quick test drive, and Glenn, our salesman, couldn t have been more responsive and helpful throughout the quicker-than-expected process. Never did we expect this could be so easy under the current circumstances. Thank you guys so much!! We are VERY satisfied customers!!
I had an intuition that a perfect car would be at Huntington Honda Used, something that happened once before. Accompanied by my daughter as the first time I spotted the only car on the lot that was appropriate, just like the first time. I was looking for an older Honda, it's a station car and although this dealer specializes in newer, certified models, one was there for me, between all the newer used Accords. I figured a 9-10 year old would have more than 100k miles but this had 60k and I liked the color. It was like a new, old car and i bought it. The salesman, Arthur was great, helpful and polite. Bargained hard, so did they but i researched it afterward as a fair deal so i got the car. BTW, the first time was exactly the same - I wanted an older Civic with a 5 speed and the same thing happened, it was in the middle of all the newer ones.
Considering that our new normal is buying a car online I was pretty hesitant when talking to dealerships because I was afraid they would try to nickel and dime and hack on all the hidden or extra fee, but they proved me wrong! I worked with Hassan and he was great! He was able to work with everything I was asking for and more. He made it known that he was there for any questions or concerns that I had and I really appreciated that. I always recommend doing a ton of research when you are looking into buying a car (which I did tons of) and not once did he or the financial agent make me feel pressured to buy anything or feel like I'm getting scammed. I definitely recommend Hassan, he kept it real with me and also helped me my beautiful Honda!!!
I had a great experience shopping for a new lease agreement. My saleswoman Alisa R. was awesome! She was kind, professional and patient and showed concern for me and what I needed in a new vehicle. She was able to articulate the all of the important aspects of the vehicles I selected to test drive. I was able to make a good decision based on the information she shared and what I already knew about the car. I am satisfied with my new lease and I would recommend Huntington Honda to anyone who asked!
Main Concerns: - Terrible customer service / interest in calling customers back - Potential attempt at "bait and switch"
Description: I had a terrible experience with Huntington Honda. I am an Army soldier who is stationed in Georgia but is originally from New Jersey. I was looking to purchase a used Nissan Altima 2012, and my father noted that prices for used Altimas were $2000-3000 higher in Georgia than in the NY / NJ area. I decided to use a car inspection service to check out car options in NY first and then ship down the purchased vehicle to Georgia.
I found Huntington Honda's attractive price for a used 2012 Altima, began corresponding with Jane Gorgone in Pre-Owned Sales, and ordered an inspection of the Altima I was interested in. The technician who inspected the car approved it. I told Jane that I wanted to purchase the car, and she transferred me to her colleague Jeff in Sales / Purchasing.
What followed next was terrible customer service that still confuses me, as I had already made clear that I definitely wanted to purchase the car immediately, without financing. I informed Jeff that my father would drive up from NJ to Long Island to deliver the payment on his day off. I asked what documents my father would need to present in person. Jeff replied, "I'll call you back." Over the next two days, I called back several times during my short breaks from training, only to get several more "I'll call you backs" from Jeff, but he would never call.
Finally, on the day before my father was supposed to drive up to deliver the payment, I demanded angrily that I speak with someone. The operator at Huntington Honda asked if I wanted to buy a car from them, and I replied that I was trying very hard to do so, but no one was picking up my calls. I was eventually connected with Andy (also in Sales / Purchasing) who confirmed the details and told me to check back that night at 8 pm to confirm that the car was still available. I did so and was told the car was available.
The next morning, my father called to tell me that before he left for a 2 hour drive up to Long Island, he called Huntington Honda a few minutes before his planned departure to confirm the car was available. He was told the car was not available. I called several times to speak with either Jane or Jeff, but I was told repeatedly over 30-45 minutes that both had "stepped away from their desk." Only after demanding angrily that I speak with someone did Andy tell me that the vehicle was sold late the night prior but that another used Nissan Altima 2012 was available for about $1,500 more.
I'm less frustrated that Huntington Honda sold the vehicle - If someone came and put down a deposit in-person, that person has the right to get the car - I'm mainly angry that I had to fight tooth and nail to speak with someone when I was certain that I wanted to purchase one of Huntington Honda's vehicles. On a similar note, I'm angry that even after I had been speaking to the dealership for a week about the vehicle and when they knew my father was driving to deliver a payment, they did not call me to say that the vehicle had already been sold. If my father hadn't called last-minute to confirm the vehicle's availability, he would have driven 1.5 hours up to Long Island just to be told someone dropped the ball.
I had a very good experience purchasing my 2018 Honda Pilot. Great team at Huntington Honda.. My salesperson was Bilal who provided excellent service - very patient and took time to ensure that I understood documentation. Michelle (internet personnel) and Lorenzo were also great. Would definitely recommend this dealership.
Came in for a new battery and tires for my old, old Honda Civic (2006, 150K miles). Greeted by Kern, described what I wanted done, he said it would take two hours and cost about $900, he was right. But the waiting lounge is comfortable, heated with free TV and coffee. As always, a pleasant experience for an old widow lady .
This place is a joke. No prices on used or new vehicles, but that's not the worst part. Trying to find one of these guys to help you is a monumental task. Go to the one in Smithtown, not only will they help you, but you can see how much the car is and it will also save you money. This dump charges extra fees when you buy a car, but the one in Smithtown does not charge any.
I don t live very near this dealer but I make a special trip because they are very pleasant to deal with and don t pressure you. Just got my third Honda from them. Also they have given me good deals, and have a good service department as well.
Upon bringing my car for a recall yesterday, I received a call from the woman at the service desk to inform me of the suggested further services that my car may need in the near future. Due to my decision to only have the recall performed that day and to take time to think about the other services for a later date and/or for my family mechanic to perform due to costs, that woman no longer was kind towards me and had a major attitude toward me. I went to retrieve my keys since we had watched the service man bring the keys to her and parked my car in front since it was ready, she told me I needed to wait 15 minutes for her to complete the paperwork. Mind you, prior to this I was informed the service would take 45 minutes and it took an hour and a half. (We has an early 8:15am appointment too that had been made over a month ago) While Standing there and waiting for her to complete the paperwork, she was discussing with a woman about her purse and had no intention of completing the paperwork as soon as possible. 20 minutes later the other woman at the desk asked if I was being helped since she knew my car was ready and that I was waiting an unnecesssry amount of time to retrieve my paperwork. I explained I was waiting for the woman to complete the paperwork which then prompted the woman to continue being rude towards me and treat me like I didn t matter. She said I ll get to it ok you ll have to wait another ten minutes as she continued To chat with the lady. I said I would prefer not To have my paperwork due to the unnecessary attitude and time I had already waited and she said fine happy Holidays in a sarcastic childish matter . I was very disappointed to have been treated this way , since I never experienced that before at Huntington Honda.
The customer service is out standing. Please read the fine print on their website. Those are not great car deals if your adding 1999 to the price. All this prices are with that down. So. 16k car is actually 18k. Even when you call then don t disclose that. Buyer beware.
