Feels a but outdated in terms of arenas. But great...
Feels a but outdated in terms of arenas. But great atmosphere... Just expensive. Go Sharks!!

Beautiful venue to watch the sharks. Everything is super expensive, but that's what you'd expect with a sports venue.
Everything was good except security does not do their job correctly. I went up to security and told him about an issue that next to were 2 seats and 3 guys came and just stayed there and since everyone was standing up you could not notice. So we were all uncomfortable, and i went and told security but he only asked them for their tickets, but one of the guys showed them in his smart watch. So security tells me "they have their tickets i can't do nothing about it". But the thing he did not do was check the seat locations, otherwise he would've seen that they did not belong there. So we had to be thru out the whole concert uncomfortable and crumpled up
Lots of parking around. Easy access, nice stadium with comfortable sits.
Nice place, parking well organised, staff friendly, plenty of concessions, good sight lines for ice hockey.
Parking was easy, but getting into the place takes way too long. Also, be really helpful if getting out of the area was facilitated by a traffic control group.
Awesome venue, huge, too! Has all the amenities - can't wait to go back for another concert.
First of all its in my City. The service/ushers are polite and approachable
Very good stage. Many shops
Easy access. Friendly staff
Comfortable place to enjoy your favorite artist. Suitable for all ages.
Something if you can and know if you can enjoy the best here in this uncensored space for all mothers
Its big and has alot of places to park but the front row seats are uncomfortable for big people
Seeing the show during a Sharks game is something unforgettable.
Attended the Valentine's Love Jam and had a wonderful time (VIP). A really nice arena for the city of San Jose
The SAP center is my second home. I had grown up going to Shark games and is/will be a part of me forever. Thank you SAP for making things happen.
I know our safety comes first but they search you like your a criminal, everything thing is so expensive,so make sure u have lots of money with u
Magnificent. I took a high place, but I saw the match very well
Parking can be a challenge if you're getting there near game start time. It's $25 No matter if you're up close or info a lot 5 blocks away, it pays to get there an hour or more before start time. We spent about 73 bucks on food for 2 and that's without any alcohol. It's an expensive place, but the staff are really nice.
What an incredible experience at not so silent night wonderful venue incredibly accessible knowledgeable staff and really good food
Went for graduation ceremony. Not too large, so good view from any where you were seated
Great venue. Seating is tight though. Not for the handicapped or those with balance problems (steep stairs and narrow seating isles).
Great place to watch hockey. Not a bad seat in the house.
The best to attend events, go eat ... the food very, very expensive
Great Arena for the sharks and fantastic atmosphere from the fans.
Not a big fan of the people f'n up the girls bathroom but other than the concert, it was amazing even though I missed the first hour of it due to trains that run every hour. Still an epic performance I will never forget. All of the bands were so awesome to see. Lots of great security plus employees, but I wish I could say the same for the fans.
Well all the events we go to are Great there but get to events early it does get crowded. Remember clear bags only No purses etc they will have you take it back to your car..
If you're a hockey fan, it's a great arena with quality staff who look out for everyone (even the annoying away fans). Very tough place to play against the home team Sharks!
Decent venue for concerts depending on where you sit, so choose wisely. As with any big event arena, expect extortion prices for confessions and drinks. Although during minor pro league hockey with the Barracudas food and beer is much more affordable... enjoy!
I went there a few days ago for the first time to see a hokey game. The place is great. Super convenient to access either via Caltrain or car (plenty of parking space, even on Sharks night). Quick to pass through security. Large choice of food at the concessions, but most importantly great arena set up. Super view all around.
No place id rather be . Im a six year veteran Jr Sharks parent. This organization is the best there ever was .
I've been here quite a few times over the years, even back to when I was a kid. I am a Ducks fan, unfortunately living in the Bay Area, so I don't get to see them play often. When they come to San Jose I go. I get the typical hate from Sharks fans. The boos, the jeers, the trash talking, the hand gestures, yadda yadda (classy by the way). However, that was when I was single. I got married a few years ago and since have had a kid. I decided it was time I go to my first Ducks game with my boy and my wife (we have been unable to due to work and the baby). We go, we've got everyone dressed up in Ducks gear. Typical Bay Area trash reaction of course, but hey, sticks and stones.
We get to our seats and everything was going well at first. My son was having a blast (he was 14 months at the time). Ducks were actually doing well that game, but here comes the part that forced me to write this review. Ducks score the game winning goal. My wife, my baby, and I are cheering and my wife is holding the baby. Suddenly my wife is hit in the head with a large soda cup, still full, and I get hit with a popcorn bucket. The soda spilled all over my baby and got in his face and his nose. Incredible. Needless to say he was extremely upset and I was furious. I turned around to see two neanderthal liberals running for their life and I shouted to the usher that they had thrown items at us. Thankfully someone had seen it too and held them up for us. I won't get into the altercation, but I had some choice words for them and it took everything in my power not to punch them. The situation was handled, but I'm already tired of these fans.
The Sharks fans are the worst of the worst and have 0 class. I unfortunately will not be going to anymore Ducks games because of classless bay area attitude. They claim to be the best and friendly when its all a lie. Not to say I haven't met any good ones, but the majority are these types of losers rivaled by LA fans. I don't get in peoples faces, I don't try to start fights, I don't rub in the score to anyone. I just come to enjoy Ducks hockey and leave. Its apparently a crime to be happy that your team wins a game. I've even had one person confront me in the bathroom while I was trying to take a leak and push up on me and say "I'm going to beat your F'ing ass right here in this bathroom. You came a long way to get a beating Duck boy". It's hockey people, not a freaking gang.
San Jose, you're a classless city and full of morons. I thank god for every loss you get and pray you never win the stanley cup. San Jose doesn't deserve it. I also remember that Vancouver fan who was hit over the head by a Shark fan and almost killed. Keep choking San Jose.
The only place to go when you're going to have concerts
Big concrete structure. The interior looks and feels like the inside of your refrigerator. Sharks need a new arena.
Nice venue to watch the San Jose Sharks ! Close by to the Caltrain Station on Diridon.
Great location, beautiful center, easy parking, and lots of staff around to assist and answer questions. However, from the suite boxes located at the top, the performance seemed garbled and super loud. Even Justin Timberlake couldn't save the day. What is the world coming to?
Great place for any event, very large venue, great staff .
Good venue for watching the hockey, watch out for the pricey parking!
I enjoy the staff that works there and I always give them a free ride on my pedicab after every event.
This is our first time going to a sharks game and let me tell you we had so much fun plenty of room from the ushers!!
I went here with my wife to see a show with Aziz Ansari. The show was great, but so was the venue. I wasn't expecting much, but the staff were very helpful pointing us to our seats, and I felt the security was a decent balance between extreme safety, and efficiency. Parking was not super great, and it took a bit longer than we wanted to get out, but that is what happens when you have thousands of people leaving a single place.
Concerts, hockey, arena football, circus, all great events at SAP Center.
Good amenities with a mostly centralized location. Only downside is the lack of open food options..was there for the NCAA tournament and half the food stands were closed.
Large venue for basketball. Attended an Unleash the Power Within event here. Great facilities
Good staff and venue...need to lighten up on dancing at music events.
Great place to watch a hockey game. Food is good bathrooms are clean and lines move fast. I have sat in the upper and lower bowl and every seat is great.
Im a smoker and the dumb people corralled us into one area not good don't mind spending $$$ but makes me think about spending $$ if next time
Great place. Easy access. Good conditions to see the show even from cheapest places.
There are not enough food options. You need bigger bathrooms. Comfortable seats.
Finding parking is odd around here but we made it without being super late. The food is okay at SAP. I wish it tasted better as advertised. Club room was nice and I wish we knew about it earlier. Got tickets from a vendor.
Soon hoping to see a Sharks game, I saw Ringling Brothers here. The inside is gigantic, like I mean gigantic when you even get into the enterance lobby. The stadium is clean and pretty much up to date. Even though there's a huge block of ice in the middle, the place is warm. Parking around is a short walk away and the cost to park is reasonable. You may also get here by VTA Light Rail with a short walking distance. Along route 82, it is near downtown San Jose, the Amtrak station, and Mineta airport.
Wow wow wow, great place to visit, take in a sharks game or similar venue. Food items are mediocre, not very exciting and run hot and cold in terms of service, quality and overall experience.
Great venue but as a chauffeur traffic conditions pick up points are always very technical..... Uber and Lyft have their own areas but difficult for luxury ground transportation!!
I was there for the Back Street Boy concert. Very nice view even if my seat is far away (this is what I can afford :)). Also the sound effects are very vibrant. Would go there for other performances.
SLAYER, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, and Testament at SAP Center was a KILLER SHOW! Best night of music for a good ticket price, close to home.
Great place for concerts. Even farthest seats have a good view.
I visited here for Monster Jam but this place was awesome. Very clean, easy acceess to all seats, plenty parking space and good food. Close to Cal Train station and freeway. All good.
It's all in the seating! Last time I was in the sides eek back killing me, this time straight ahead and great concert with no back twisting backache
