I went here for my wife's tablet to be sorted out. Good service - not out of the world but decent. There is also a show room of all Samsung items.
Their products are great but sadly I am giving them a one because customer service is awful. I had a problem with my cell. Was given the wrong advice resetting my phone. Lost some data due to this. Then they still argue with you and say they are just following procedure. I have also emailed Samsung international support and they are also useless. Makes you want to reconsider buying anything Samsung.
Their client service is non-existent. I got the S20 Ultra and got the Galaxy Buds for free. I am still waiting..its 8 months already. They lied and said the Buds are with the courier. They couldnt or wouldnt tell me who the courier is. KEEP YOUR BUDS SAMSUNG! Emails back and forth and nothing is resolved. I cant complain about your client service..because there is NONE! im done with Samsung..i see they respond on this platform..giving the email "Tellus Tellus@samsung.com"..LOL! Oh please..this is the same email I used which nobody responds to..

Terrible so far dropped my phone of for a screen repair the are unable to allocate my phone or even tell me when it will be ready. They are experiencing problems with there lines but nobody has got back to me after leaving my details numerous occasions. And there never seems to be any manager available either.
Samsung aftersales service is the most appalling i have ever seen.! After they assessed the Disahwasher which is 4 months old got told they need to order a part and it will take 2-3 days its now been 6 working days and still no part

For a Headbranch they're not as clued up as they should be. Staff and service experience is generally not up to standards.
They darted me from place to place for a water damage claim (ADH Premium member) and didn't offer a loan device (again, ADH Premind member). And now that I've just cracked my screen, I'll probably be better off giving my phone away!

I tend to agree with spooky buying a Samsung product is a nightmare as I bought an A10s at Game Lakeside Benoni on the 14th March 2020 and later I found out that the charging pin is abbrogated by disuse and when i contacted them as a manufacturer they told me to go to Vodacom in Sandton whom I wrote an email after returning the phone back to game as they wanted me to pay R3000 repair fee for a phone I bought for R2599.How can I pay an exhorbitant fee when the fault is their own and the warranty is only expire g next month. Apparently I am not alone with such a problem as many people are crying of the same problem though on their side othappenned after the warranty had reached its ceiling.
Thanks for nothing SAMSUNG you are just a nonsensical company who care-less about their customers.

Went there for technical support with my tablet which I had bought from the store. The two men at the service counter had an argument about who would help me because both had no interest in assisting me. In the end both men left me at the counter and did not return!
I will never be buying another samsung device, nor returning to that store!
I am very disappointed with the level of service at Samsung. The S7 was launched on promo with the VR Headset. I go in to upgrade my contract and be told that the VR Headset is not being given out in the month of May 2016.
I find out a week or so ago, that people who purchased or upgraded their contract in May/June can apply for a VR Headset to be sent out. After installing Smart Tutor and Samsung Rewards, I am told that the phone had to be purchased between June and July to have a VR Headset to be sent out. This is poor marketing and failed promises by Samsung. For upgrading my contract a few days after the promo I did not receive a VR Headset from my contract with Cellc, and for taking my contract too early Samsung Rewards doesn't want to assist with sending me a VR Headset.
The reason I went for the Samsung s7 was because of the VR Headset experience but now I get turned away from all ends.
I have been a client with Samsung for a long long while ( Since the Samsung S2 and its first tablet) and stand strong by the products. I also own a Samsung home entertainment system. Please can someone help a highly frustration and demotivated client. All I want is my VR Headset that goes along with my Samsung S7.

I'm not happy with the service I received this morning (26/01/2020) from a Samsung support agent in the live chat, with regards to warranty query for my cell phone.
The customer service I received was very poor. This is giving Samsung a bad name.
The agent was not helpful, nor suggested any alternatives with regards to my query.
Personally, I also found the agent to be rude in some way, and was not interested in assisting me in any way, whatsoever!!!
I have escalated my complaint to the CEO's offices to make him aware of poor service delivery in his mobile support department.
No customer care at all. They do fals advertising. Upgraded my phone to Note 20 ultra and they promoted a Samsung Tv as part of the contract. Been waiting almost 2 months for it and their customer care dont even comeback to you when they say they will. Worst service ever. Please dont support Samsung as they are giving out fals support.

I've made a phone call to your call centre regarding a broken (new) washing machine nearly every single day, without success. For more than four weeks you have been passing the buck between departments and whenever I request that my call be transferred to a supervisor, the call gets ended.
Do NOT buy Samsung. So far the 2 year warrantee has meant nothing.
Guess I'm back to LG. At least I get action within 24-48 hours.
There are three tickets open currently on my profile. And not a single phone call back.

I bought samsung earbuds online on 29 September but I want to return it beacuse my sister also order 2 and I email you guys on 30 september they told me that they will send someone to come and collect it but they never come it's almost 3 weeks now I even phone them but they just put me on hold for nothing

It was my first visit to the Samsung building and you are welcomed by water fountains and colorful glasses on the walls of the building. Cheil is the PR company for Samsung which has the second building in the same line. Really loved the complex and the colorful glasses. Thanks
Electronic side good service security guys can be useless there as they need to b trained more. Was lost inside but the security are just full of themselves not all of them but a word can b passed to help with a smile

Customer service is absolutely pathetic. I tried for 45 minutes to find out what the status of my cell phone repair was after receiving no reply to an email and still the best they could do was offer to take my details and try get someone to call me back. Better not hold my breath!!!
The showroom was great...with the exception that there didn't seem to be Wi-Fi (so I couldn't really test out some of the devices with online capability/application)

This rating is for the Mugg and Bean tuck shop at the foyer. They conveniently did not mention that they do not supply the complimentary coffee for Samsung and that the complimentary coffee is at the vending machine next to them. I had to pay R 57.00 for the cappuccino! If you visiting Samsung and have to wait 30 minutes like I have been waiting and you are offered coffee make sure it's the free one from Samsung! Otherwise prepare to lose some rands. To Samsung staff, please ensure that you direct your customer to the right place for the complimentary coffee that you offer customers !

Great products but this comes with pathetic customer service and competitions are really time consuming making it complicated with all the waiting around filling forms and calling samsung to verify details ... As per their R4000 voucher special ... I mean considering the customer just purchased a R17000 product I do not see why we have to run around for a R4000 voucher .... So not worth the efforts
Bought a fridge and freezer from a reputable supplier. Was told there was a promotion to receive something for what I had bought. When I tried to claim, was told dealer not part of promotion. Watch out for Samsung promises.
I love love the security team. It makes me want to drive into Samsung just to have a chat with them because they are always smiling and if we are judged by your front line staff then Samsung are leading the pack on this one. Amazing, but your front line staff internally at various points in malls are selling me LG products guys. Inside the walls of Samsung I am happy pleased and got knowledge on various products but at malls in a retail store of yours I am almost always deeply disappointed. Mall of the south I walk in to purchase a machine I walk out, the Glen shopping center you used to have a store next to CNA same thing. Disappointed. If you hired the security company to be your front line I would have purchased a Samsung TV. However your staff attitude ensures I walk out with my money I wanted to spend in hand. I ended up with a machine from a shop in Johannesburg north. After nearly purchasing an AEG product from Makro. Your presence is in consistent. At DION Wired we are left with confusion and the product being sold as number one is Hisense, bought the same T.V same week to find out the Samsung was a better product as the product being pushed there is Hisense and Sony again no presence. So get your field staff to do more. Teach the retail store guys more on your product. Your retail stores need peoples training cause if I did you mystery shopping you would always come up flat in retail store, on Friday I visited Samsung head office and Samsung Mall of the South and well not a lot was to be said about the retail store, however your head office was efficient. Which brings me to the following get your guys to smile sell products to customers who dont loom like customers cause those guys are always consumers

Pathetic Service!!! Why does it take 10 to 14 days to replace a screen???? At a Pakistani shop it takes 1 to 2 hours!! Fetched my phone and refund for cover access today cause my phone is STILL not repaired!!

I'm so tired of hearing about Samsungs trade in deal on a new S21 Samsung Galaxy phone. We are being sent up and down, and even stores supporting the product does not even know about this. I'm really disappointed about this. Such a shame that there's no backup to and good communication from a world renowned company such as Samsung. Maybe it's time to take my business elsewhere.

I don't buy Samsung products any longer because of the dog meat trade in that country , for people that don't know this Samsung is made in South Korea, they have a large dog meat industry were dogs are blow- torched alive , boiled and skinned alive, no more South Korean products and I will spread the word

They have contracted the service and repair department out to thirds parties. Pity as it's a good product. Tried 3 accredited repairers and gave up.
I was due for an upgrade and was looking at the Huawei P40 Pro but then saw that if I get the S20 I will get a pair of free earbuds. Based on that I took the S20. Well it is 3,5 months, 27 emails and many phone calls later and I still have not received the free earbuds that I redeemed on 15 May 2020. I received a CITD reference number and that was the end of it. The case has been escalated many time over but no one ever comes back to me. Shocking service. So sorry I did not take the P40 instead...Don't fall for their freebies. You won't get it
The customer service is bad and extremely disappointing.I had a phone warranty query and I was misinformed by the service consultant.I ended up losing R500 and wasting time by taking my phone to a repair center only to be quoted an amount higher than the value of the phone.2 weeks later a service consultant calls me to tell me that the phone will not be covered by the warranty.
Service consultants should be trained on the warranty terms and conditions of devices to avoid further confusion and incompetence.Still struggling and battling with the repair center in the grove mall to return my phone.
Getting awesome service with my warranty claim and constant phone calls to keep me updated with what is happening. So far well done

Samsung Somerset mall, Western Cape took in my mom's tablet for repairs. Then lost it. In addition to losing it, they have taken NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER to find it, get back to her telepathically and suggested NO POSSIBLE SOLUTION EITHER.
They are a black hole where foreign concepts like service, friendliness and helpfulness has long since disappeared - to be replaced with the above mentioned.
So far I know of 3 people who have moved away from Samsung because of this store.
If left unchecked, the will sink the ship.
My back of my smart watch fell off Samsung will charge me R2200 to put it back and R230 for a printed quote for repairs
Absolutely shocking service from Samsung.
I purchased a Samsung heatpump tumble dryer (+R10,000) and withing 7 month the machine stopped working. After reporting the matter, a technician called out and and advised that the heatpump had to be replaced.
The machine was collected a few days later, and returned within 3 days, but it still did not work. Same technician called out again, and reported that the new heatpump was not working. We had not used the machine since it was returned except for the failed test. This time, instead of repairing it, they decided to replace the machine entirely.
That was more than a week ago today, and I am yet to receive a replacement or repair. Samsung's repair partner advised that all is in order, and that Samsung just have to deliver the replacement and collect the broken unit. Samsung (when they do bother replying to emails) claim that the replacement has not been approved. Either way, because of total incompetence and internal miscommunications at Samsung, I have been without a tumble dryer for almost a month.
Furthermore, they have a call-centre that claims not to make outgoing phone calls, but will make you hold for more than 30 minutes as though this is normal. When I asked to be transferred to a manager, I was given a proper run-around, and when I asked the consultant Ria what her surname is as I intend reporting her poor service, knowledge and attitude, she said that it's not her policy to share their surnames with clients.

I would just like to query why I my one Ahd claim was used on my Samsung S6.
My phone was booked in to the Smart Lab by the Waterfront because it was not fast charging or connecting via USB to my pc, it was normal charging tho.
I am very unhappy with the service I have received from Smart Lab. Both of my phones have some back with scratches from the tool they use to open the phone The only person the allow me to talk to is the manager(Nathan) who is the person that replaced my screen. He has not been helpful at all and it feels like it's my word against his.
My wife and I are avid supporters with most of our household electronics being Samsung. Fridge, washing machine, 2x tvs, vacuum, 2xSamsung and many more before these current items. All I would like is to find out how I can resolve the incorrect screen claim and what can be done about all the scratches on the phones.
Please note. I love the brand and give it a 5 star rating. I would just like my issue sorted please
What a joke of a company when it comes to customer service and sadly your poor reviews on all platforms reflect this also. I have called your call center 15 times now to try and speak to a manager and am forever promised a call back. Shame on you!
