HP Pavilion at San Jose Reviews

The arena is quite old fashioned from here and there but still a great venue for sports and concerts. The lines get really long at the intermissions but that happens everywhere.

Attended an Oracle Event in the Presidents Suite.
Wow! We were 25 strong and everybody had a fantabulous time! Perfect Food and Bev...service great, memory maker. The ice Hockey was v.exciting. Ez parking...

Came here to see disney on Ice. Parking was super easy, and it was close to the entrance. The person checking tickets helped me connect to the internet since cellphone service was slow to verify tickets. Regrettably they double booked the seats that I reserved. And me and the other family had to find our own solution.

Went here for Friday night Smackdown and Monday Night Raw amazing arena

The sharks will never win the cup the place was built on a on indian cemetery the remains were relocated

Even though it has been around for a long time, still one of the best and most accessible arenas in any sport. Great sight lines. Ready access to mezzanine with vendors and services. Close in parking along with plenty of parking in easy 2alking distsnce. Less than .5 miles to downtown San Jose.

Traffic, parking problems Then 40 minute to 2 hour wait to get in Security rules inconsistent

Easy access, easy purchase of merchandise, restrooms with no lines. I wish it had better schedule with Cal Train so I could enjoy it more

Came for business and caught a Sharks game. The stadium didn't really keep you engaged on the game.. needs more pizzazz.

Very nice venue, but extremely high prices in all areas.

I've enjoyed all my experiences at the SAP Center so far. The staff are kind and helpful when needed. Parking around the arena is ample, either in their official parking lot or the surrounding lots. The layout of the venue is pretty easy to understand and everything is easy to see and access. So far there isn't a terrible seat in the house. Yeah, it's an arena and you buy nosebleeds, you GET nosebleeds. But even those aren't even that bad in my opinion. The sound is great of course (all my experiences have been music concerts). Definitely a good place to see a show.

Sound check people need to do a better job. The kick back made.a few. Of.the bands sound terrible but.over all had fun

Was happy to see the bottle filler at one of the water fountains. Now to get one closer to our seats!

We purchased the VIP tickets/pass for the Bruno Mars 24K World Tour. I was reluctant to pay so much for each ticket but it was worth every penny!

We didn't have to wait in the long lines to enter, we were in a short line to show our proof of purchase and to receive our VIP souvenirs and immediately they escorted us to the entrance.

We were given the opportunity to purchase Tshirts and hats without the long lines and then taken to the VIP lounge.

At the lounge, there was a DJ, large assortment of delicious finger foods, and first round of drinks was pre paid.

We we're in the 4th row from the stage, the chairs were the cheap foldable ones but we didn't mind that much. We were dancing and drinking most of the night!

Bruno Mars is a great performer! He's very talented. He sang live. No lip syncing! Like some other performers. I would pay to see him again. Awesome show!!!!!!

Regarding the phone numbers to contact a person @ SAP. The event number, " has changed or is incorrect" according to the recording.

Have been few times my only complain is that when seated it almost feels like we all sitting pretty much on eachother.

Went to my first San Jose Sharks game and I absolutely loved it! Was at the edge of my seat the whole time that they played. I can't wait to go to another game. The only thing I strongly disliked was the organization the staff had when it came to letting in the Hockey fans into the arena. I was beyond frustrated but the game made up for that in the end!

The food is good and they go big. The security are kinda mean.

Great facility with good sightlines. Food venders are decent but not outstanding. Lines can get pretty long and clog walkways. Restrooms are spacious and we'll designed for foot traffic flow, and they do a good job keeping them clean.

It sucked, the Sharks lost their game.

Very organized security. Their concern is to have a very safe event and to not let anyone get hurt

No space between seats for someone to pass through. It seemed like the person will fall off or keep stamping other persons foot when passing by.

Shark's! Well ran facilities. There is not one bad seat in the house. Go Shark's!

Ok arena, over priced like everything else in CA....poor lower to middle class in this state..

Concerts here are great. Use your time machine and go see Weezer if you can. Great show.

Great place to see a concert or a sharks game. Saw Adelle here once, and the echo rocked for the seats we had.

I went here to see the ice hockey game.

When I went there was a meal with a VIP ticket. I'm pushing a special stamp that reacts to the black light, so I can get in and out of the VIP area any number of times during the match. You can eat before the game and prepare desserts around the middle of the game. Alcohol is also available free of charge.

The seats were spectators of the seats in the third row from the front. It is truly America how to fight the game! I was able to enjoy it even if I went to see for the first time.

Ice hockey looks quite close to fighting sports. The foot will slip and the defending player will attack and protect with full power. Punching opponent who got stuck with it by goo punch. That is an obvious match.

At the latter half of the game, the number of fights gradually increased, and at the same time as the whistle at the end of the game three pairs beat each other at the same time. Although it may not be interesting as a player, audience is delighted! I understood why audience is hot with full. Yaji of the audience was terrible and it was a little funny.

I want to go see it many times.

Clean, well secured. And lots of staff all around, keeping order.

The venue is located in a non busy part of downtown and the venue has no bad seating. Going to the Sharks games or concerts is always a good time. Food and drinks prices are a bit steep though.

Love watching the sharks play. But the stadium could do with an update.

Eventhough it wasn't a sharks game i enjoyed my first live hockey game at this stadium, the players are big but the stadium is bigger

Not a bad seat in the tank. You could have you back to the wall and still see the puck clearly. GO SHARKS!

Still a great place maybe a little crowd control when there is a mass exit inside

We went here to see Shakira. The show was amazing and we were able to get in pretty quick, despite a very long line. The only drawback was that we had floor seats and they were super cramped.

Per usual a fantastic venue , always fun and exciting. The sound was exceptional the wife and I were discussing it and decided that feeling the bass is the way to go!!! The sap Center put on a fantastic show the great job really thank the staff always friendly and happy...

The place high balcony was horrible view of the stage. Glad they had TVs but wouldn't recommend the upper part of the stadium. Restroom was clean. A lot of food vendors and choices. The parking is $25 hard to get out after an event expect 45 to hour to leave the lot.

This place was amazing ..parents room is off the hook

Came for WWE TLC and had fun. The food was disappointing and limited. I saw they had names like iguanas for burritos but from the places I went only hot dogs, nachos, and pretzel were available. Hot dog was cold and pretzel bites stale. Security around my seats took care of everyone and made sure no one was blocking each other's views. One of the better wrestling experiences I've had here. Getting in and leaving was very easy and faster then normal.
