Attended a Sharks at SAP. It was fantastic. Do not eat hamburgers from The Grill place inside, they're the worst attempt at a hamburger that I have ever had. Panda Express, and the Seafood place upstairs looked and smelled very promising though. GREAT GAME and the Sharks won in overtime!

The arena itself is nice but getting in for Sharks games is nowhere near as organized as it used to be. After going through security you are funneled into various lines at the doors. When the doors open all of these lines are then forced to merge together to the few people actually scanning tickets. Made it difficult to stay with a group and there was a lot of pushing and shoving to get in that could have been avoided by having lines actually correspond with ticket takers.

Really clean event center, well laid out restrooms and food vendors. We attended for a hockey game & really enjoyed it. Easy to find our way around within. Wish the parking was less expensive ($25) or $20 for a sketchy lot down the street.

We went for a Sharks game and it was absolutely amazing! Seats were comfortable and everything was bright and loud lol. It was so much fun. Didn't try the concession stands besides sodas and a pretzel, but everything looked good. There was pretty much anything you could think of there. We will be back!

Great local venue, hockey and concerts you can't go wrong when you come here. Some shows do have audio issues but I think that's more an issue with the individual show sound techs than the actual acoustics of the venue

The staff was amazing in relocating us due to my broken ankle! We were very comfortable on the floor area in a section for people who were mobility challenged. They took great care of us and made everything easy and accessible. Great show, great staff!

We're here quite a bit for Sharks games and love the seating at SAP and the concessions, especially some of the new food options. I feel like security here is always on point, the lines for food and drinks move fast (except the custard line which is always insane), and even the bathrooms don't get over crowded for too long. It's such a fun place to come watch Sharks games and I always find myself leaving with the same smile I arrived with. We especially enjoy being seated in the luxury Club seats, being spoiled with food and drink delivery right to our spacious spots.

It is so much fun going to any sporting event, but especially the Sharks, and especially with people who've never attended a professional hockey game before, like I did with my boyfriend and his two teenage sons last night. Everyone had a killer time, especially when the Sharks won in the overtime shootout. Go Sharks!!

When the NHL was on strike in the early 2000s I watched Bridgeport Soundtiger games all the time out on the East Coast where I attended college (Connecticut). I had never really watched hockey before then so when I moved back home to the Bay Area I fell in love with our local Sharks.

Going to games is an easy drive from the East Bay (and only a $75 Uber from Concord). Make sure to show up on time because the beginning of the game and the Sharks players entrance is awesome. Most of the fans stick around to the end but it's usually not too much of a mess to get out of the $25 prepaid lot. (There's also a nearby parking structure that's very convenient.)

Food and drinks at the games are typical. Beers run about $12 for the souvenir cup, $6 for popcorn/peanuts/ice cream and then of course they have hot food too, like hot dogs and nachos and more! I find it easier to eat ahead of time though so that you aren't in your seat distracting others from the game. (NHL is a little bit different in that they ask you not to lean forward in your seats even during game play).

If you haven't been to a game, go buy some seats on the middle of the rink for the best view (around $75.00 each for upper deck), and have a great time! GO SHARKS!!

Large Convention Center in downtown San Jose on the west side of Highway 87. Standard in most respects but not enough clothes or covered parking is a big drawback. Also, many convention centers around the country have free parking whereas the SAP Center charges a fair amount for a day's stay.

Went there for a shark's game. Parking around the area can be a nightmare even if you're going to pay the high cost parking lot fees, so I suggest you get there early if you can. Other than that, it's a cool place, nothing super unique. It's your run of the mill local overpriced stadium center. Aside from the Sharks losing the night we went and the parking, an enjoyable nice experience.

One of my favorite places on this planet. I've been to a couple concerts there that were pretty cool. Plenty of room and Slipknot put on an awesome show, but it really shines as the home to the San Jose Sharks. I' ve been to fifty or so games and have never had a bad time. That atmosphere is amazing and the fans are some of the best in the league. Lots of food choices inside and outside. If you have never been and you like hockey, GO!
