Pretty much every seat has a good view. Audio is good. Bathroom lines move very quickly. Lots of concession options at sharks games, but they are very pricey.

Don't stand up or lean forward in your seats, you'll block the view of the folks behind you.

The ratio of spots that serve beer / serve liquor really need to be improved (can only get liquor at a couple of places which causes insane lines), but for an old event arena/stadium its fairly clean. Food options are okay, but nothing as good or as varied as in a baseball stadium. Giving 4 stars only because of the general cleanliness.

SAP is a great venue whether you re seeing a Sharks game or a concert. Parking is ample and not terribly expensive (25 during a Sharks game). The venue itself is in downtown SJ and is walkable to several dinning choices as well as pubs and cocktail lounges.

Came here for Intel Extreme Masters. It's not what the venue is normally used for, so I'll say the bad screen viewing is not really their fault.

The place is clean and the staff are helpful, and the bathrooms are really big. The main downside as with most sports venues is the ridiculous food prices.

I originally gave 5 stars, the venue was clean we had a wonderful experience. The staff were pleasant and the ushers were very friendly. The show was fantastic and made memories to last. It truelly was an amazing experience. I dropped a star not because of the venue but because my children fell extremely ill following our visit. We dont get out much and this was our only outing so we traced it back to Disney on Ice. Parents, I know the tickets were pricey but its not worth spreading yours and your childs illness. A lot of parents give their kids motrin and think they are fine, no you are still contiguous. I'm writting this message from the E.R. with my 2 year old, and the purpose is to hopefully resonate with someone who is thinking of attending a high volume event with a sick child. SAP center, you were amazing once again.

Was here for conference. Security was hit and miss, signs said we could bring in fruit but they rejected strawberries. Vendor food was expensive, glad there was a whole foods close by, same prices but way healthier.

We took our kids to Disney on Ice and overall it was a good experience. We have family that works there and we were supposed to be on the free parking list but they couldn't find our name so we had to pay. Also they only allow clear bags that are a specific size but we were allowed to take in our diaper bag. We just had to show that there were diapers in there. Food and drinks were overpriced but that's expected. All the drinks were bottled but they had to open it and take the cap away before they gave it to us. That's new to me but they were able to give me a plastic cup with a lid and straw. I had to ask several times and tell them I'm gonna end up spilling this on my baby but I got it. The show was very entertaining for a toddler and even my 5 month old wanted to watch.

Went to a hockey game. Easy to find from train station. Truly, you can't miss it. Plenty of food options and bathrooms. Seats were typical from side to side, but I felt they were very tight from waist to knee - and I'm 5'3". Employees were friendly. We had a great time. Go Sharks!

Atmosphere is great. This building is aging but it's still holding up well to the community and all it's venues it supports. I've seen all kinds of events here take place since I was a kid. I even use to help my mom decorate and do balloon drops/party events when they first had the Sharks, Rhinos, and eventually the Sabercats. Having seen behind all the scenes and up from above in the rafters, it's a great place for all sights and sounds.

Sometimes you'll have a crummy seat blocked by big heads or bar railings. Perhaps you'll get stuck in an unfortunate section that only has enough leg room for someone under 5'7.

The only true wrongdoing here is the always insane cost for food and drinks. But as anyone can tell you at any sporting event, never eat there, never come hungry. Food selection is okay, but it's more worthwhile to spend your money on overpriced memorabilia.

If you're lucky enough to get to stay in a company box office though with everything paid for, go nuts.

Still, prices can be found for all events at a fair cost without breaking the bank. Which is nice that they haven't let themselves get a large head like the Giants, thinking they're finally catching up in total world series wins so let's make it stupid costly. Go A's and LET'S GO SHARKS!

Attended a Kpop concert. Purchased ADA seats as sis is in a wheelchair. We got to enter immediately after VIP, and were able to get guidance to elevator to get to our seats (213). (For reference, you enter on the 3rd floor, go up to 4th for the ADA boxes, which are next to the suites.) It was nosebleed status, but we could see the whole stage and it was a great show. The bathrooms were clean. Snacks were typical arena food, but worth it. Sound was amazing.

It's awesome, except I bought a soda for over $5 after I paid they took the cap , it wasn't cold , got flat quickly and charged over $5 for a cup of ice... Really?! Very poor customer service. Don't much like being ripped off..
