Was an amazing place to be at n see for my first time
It's a great arena for hockey. Food is kind of uninspiring, beer is better but very expensive, yet I keep on coming back. Good fun at the shark tank!
It's a great place to watch a hockey game! The concourse level has many options for food and seating. The club level has incredible delicacies and pleanty of seating. The seating for the game itself is very good, and from almost every vantage point, you have a good view of the ice.
Very cool arena. Close to downtown, no major issues getting in or out
Sports and concerts. Club level is nice if you can get it.
Love the Shark tank the energy is always good. Lots of bathrooms but long lines for expensive not very good food but still love it.
It was my first time there. I took my kids to see Monster Jam for the 1st time. It was an awesome show. SAP center was easy to find and so was parking. Food and drinks were expensive but that was expected. The Arena is small bathrooms were every Where and the place was really clean. I didnt know the staff working for SAP center would be such Nazi's about their rules. So if your gunna bring a bag make sure its a see through bag and not bigger than 26 inches. Lol... All around great experience though.
San Jose does a pretty good job at being a hockey town.
SAP Center is a really great venue. It's always a great time watching a Sharks game. Really intimate stands keep you close to the action. Just be sure you don't lean forward as you will block the person's view behind you!
This multipurpose arena is good enough for many shows, but doesn't rate a 10 for many. I've always had a good seat in that there aren't any obstructed views, but it's just a large high school gym with a fancy video and sound system. There is no ambience. It's hard to make it intimate and cozy, especially when the people next to you are eating cheese topped nachos! One good thing is that it's close to public transportation via Cal Train and light rail. Plus there are a number of parking lots nearby. For those looking for a meal, there is quite a selection of cafes, restaurants and fast good nearby. Plus the area has its own dining spot in addition to concession stands along the concourse.
Great venue. Food was great, some a little pricey.
Great place to see the sharks. Parking is expensive but careful research will pay off.
From Coeur d alene, ID. My cousin in CA is a huge fan so we went two nights back to back..I had a blast!
Saw Foo Fighters there, decent venue, lots places to eat inside.
So many great events to see. Tonight saw Hugh Jackman
SAP is one of the nicer arenas, pretty good food and a wider selection than usual. Only complaint is drink prices continue to rise at this point a Corona cost $15 and an LIT costs $20
There are a lot of concert venues in the Bay area but as far as large arenas go this is my favorite. In general it is hard to have bad seat unless you are up in the rafters. There are tons of bathrooms meaning most of the time there isn't a line for the ladies room (yay!). And the last couple of shows I have been to the were even employees in the bathroom constantly cleaning and restocking TP and paper towels. They have multiple vendors selling several different types of alcohol, including craft beer. Their drinks are pricey, but no more than other arenas in the area. If you are willing to walk a bit you can even generally find free street parking. They also have Sharks games here, but I haven't been to one of those. For concerts the sound and acoustics there are good as well. It is also within walking distance of downtown San Jose, making it easy to catch a bite to eat before an event or having drinks afterward easy.
HELL YEAH SHARKS! If you're a tourist, I 100% endorse visiting the SAP center for a sharks game. American stadiums are crazy, so many bar and food options! The spectators are so passionate, you'd never see this sort of love in Australia.
I watch the San Jose sharks play here. Great, super friendly fans. GO SHARKS!!!
Staff was friendly food was good to especially the burritos facilities were also good for 12000 people at an event
It wasn't as clean as it could be and disorganized the employees didn't know where things were. They were very nice but untrained. Except for the too sweet ladies on the floor they were very nice. I mean the floor in a nice way :)
Because now it turns out that you can not go to the show with small backpacks and the handbag, if you take them to gyardan they charge you $ 5.00 dollars for each bag.
Mostly go here for Sharks Hockey games. There's several parking options, both public and paid. Concessions inside SAP are pretty decent with about 20% turnover YoY. It could use some exterior and interior sprucing up to make it more contemporary in style. Nothing major...
Parking is tricky. Local businesses will let you park in their lots for a fee, and you wont have to wait for the large lines of cars to exit the main stadium parking. Bring cash, most parking is $20 to $30. The Sharks games was really fun. I would see a concert here, looks like there are good views from anywhere in the building. If you dont want to pay for overpriced concessions, there are a lot of restaurants nearby that are open pretty late after a game or concert.
If you are scared of heights I dont recommend the 200 seats, kind of steep.
It's was amazing! Good food, clean bathrooms and helpful staff!
First time there for a concert and was it the best concert I've been to! Not hard to find seating. Not too long for entry. Would recommend
First time at SAP...nice place...only setback is the food court is only inside. They should have some eatery outside too to accommodate ppl who are waiting for the others to join.
Food and drinks are expensive. Fun place to go fo watch some hockey.
Enjoyed watching the Sharks kick some Ducks butt's. Parking is Way to EXPENSIVE, the vendors over charge on food and drinks. $7.00 for soda 16oz. It's not right .
Great venue! Friendly staff and bathrooms were surprisingly clean!
Just a tad too loud, will bring ear protection next time...
Great seating, great food, and just a little twirk at the bathrooms, and nothings bad at all.
Noisy echo chamber. Thank goodness Rush had the volume to overcome most of it. Would have sounded better outdoors.
Awesome venue, came here for hockey, great food choices. Parking a little crazy but other than that I enjoyed it
was at the SAP center for shark games and concerts. Great atmosphere wonderful selection of foods and drinks. great venue for sports and concerts. like this venue for concerts too.
there lots of stands to buy shirts and jackets. there is also seating for food on upper deck. gourmet food and drinks. near downtown and near lots of restaurants and bars. highly recommended.
Always a great venue for different types of events.. spacious, and usually a good view from just about any seat.
Good food-- quite a variety; always great to watch the SHARKS!
Fantastic place, find food, drinks, snack, the staff very well, friendly, and very good place to attend a concert, a lot of security, a lot of staff, cheking, outside and inside, very nice.
Going to see the San Jose Sharks is always great. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly
Good audio, lights. Nice arrangements and convenient parking. Thank you guys!
Great hockey game against the Vegas Golden Knights and a wonderful food/ drink package in the BMW Club. Fun way to spend a Saturday night.
Saw Stars on Ice. I was surprised at how large this stadium actually was and how well placed and multitudinous the amenities were.
Great place with incredible atmosphere. There are a lot of different food providers and merchandise shops are located all over the stadium so it is easy to find what you want.
The parking is big enough and have clear instructions on how to reach certain lot.
Everything is very clean and organized. But to my surprise when I went on September 28th 2019 to see the Mana concert the women had to check in their purses if they were to big and Pay $5. It would have been nice to be emailed something More
Went to see Hugh Jackman. The concert was fantastic. Could have used a slightly lower volume to hear the words but it was a concert and he was great. The venue was clean a bit pricey. Bathrooms were kept up and those who worked there were friendly.
Love my Sharks, but I gotta say... I'm super disappointed in the decision to do away with cups & ice for fountain sodas. $5 for a bottle of Diet Pepsi is stupid expensive! 7-11 doesn't even charge that.
Very spacious and comfortable and easy to find yourself.
Good experience. Just wish there was better crowd control after the concert.
Comfortable seats! When they messed up our food, they brought us double to make up for it. Above and beyond! GO SHARKS!
Saw a Kanye concert here. The venue was good but Kanye sucked
It was ok! When it was levi stadium it was better they had more of a obstacle course sap center is just way too small
