Overall my experience with the entire process of the installation of my patio door was excellent. The entire House Smart team are professional and courteous. Thank you for a job well done.

We contracted House Smart to replace our windows. Firstly we were well informed and our questions answered from our consultation with the Representative. We were very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the installers. It was evident they were experienced and knew what they were doing from sealing to cleaning to finishing to cleaning up. We would highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to have new windows installed.

I had my windows replaced in August 2015 from the old aluminum style to vinyl. Greg from House Smart came out to give me a quote, among 2 other companies, and helped me understand how House Smart did their work and the quality of their windows. The installation went smooth and I was impressed of the speed of the install and the cleanliness of the work done. The install team was great and did a wonderful job. I am thrilled at how my home looks and feels with the new windows (I went with the Cascade ones). Thanks House Smart, I recommend their service to all!

Recently we have House Smart replaced our windows. Four workers came and they have the job done within 3 hours and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Their prices are reasonable and the workmanship is good. There are no more fogging up of the windows, no condensation to wipe up, and the noise of traffic is reduced when the windows are closed. We are very happy with their services!

This is my second time dealing with House Smart. The first time I got them to replace my furnace, install heat pump, and install the sliding door facing the sun deck. This time they replaced all my windows. The sales rep came one evening and explained the product and demonstrated how the product works with samples. He was very detailed and knowledgeable. On the installation date, the installers came on time. They worked over 6 hours to replace 14 windows. After the installation, one of the installers did a walk-around and explained the work done. He also informed me on the potential problems on the house that may need to be looked at soon. Overall they did a great job!

We bought windows and doors through House Smart and were very pleased with the whole process.Right from the initial visit with Ruth through to the installation process (Cory) everything went according to plan.We would recommend House Smart.

We had all the windows and the patio doors replaced in our White Rock rancher with new energy-efficient glazing in October 2016. The installation crew were very professional and skillful and cleaned up after themselves. We notice that our home now retains the heat far better. House Smart Home Improvements did a wonderful job installing the Vinyltek windows in our 30+ year old home. My 20 year old gas furnace stopped working and needed to be replaced. I tried House Smart Home Improvements and they were able to supply and install a new furnace within a week. They had initially indicated a 2-3 week delivery but were able to expedite to within a week. The installation was well thought out and went very well. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend them without hesitation.

I received excellent client service from Brian W. for my furnace and hot water tank upgrades. He was very efficient and detailed in the quotes and responded to questions promptly. Will definite recommend home smart improvement to my friends.

This business I will never deal with again......Dealing with Brian the owner was terrible....you don't get anywhere with these ppl.....my window still leaks...and I had to have another company come in and fix it....not to mention the cancelled my appointment a few times.....DON'T USE THEM..

Very happy with our new windows, front door and French patio doors. House is quieter and warmer, and looks so much better! We had our windows replaced yesterday by "HOUSE SMART and we are so pleased with the way things went. The work crew arrived on time, they were professional and polite. Tarps were placed down to keep the house clean and they then quickly started their work.

As a nice finishing touch, Glen came to do a finishing walk through with us, as to whether we might have last minute concerns or questions .

We solicited multiple quotes for window replacement upon taking possession of a 40-year-old Pitt Meadows home. House Smart was most affordable and offered a quality product, warranty, and competitive lead time. Additionally, we liked that they offered other home efficiency solutions we needed in our under-maintained home (ventilating the upstairs bathrooms and kitchen range hood). Better still, we felt they went the extra mile to do right by us.

Cory, who headed the installation team, helped answer all our questions prior and during their site visit. As well, one of our windows had been ordered with the incorrect flange. They rushed a corrected replacement and returned the following week to reinstall it. They also made sure we had a new furnace filter to replace the filthy one left behind, just as a good faith gesture.

Based on our first six months with these new windows, we are very happy with the appearance and have had no issues with condensation or moisture. I would recommend considering them if you have windows to replace.

Fabulous experience! I had all the windows replaced to high efficiency windows and a patio door. The estimator was very educated in her product and gave me time to do my research without pressure of a commitment right away. The workers were friendly, arrived on time, and stayed late until the job got done. I did have a small problem with my patio door installation but someone came to check on it right away and it was fixed without any additional costs. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone.

A great Company to deal with, and a great installation team. They removed the old existing, and installed 14 new windows and a large sliding glass door all in one day. They removed all the debris, vacuumed away any dust, and wiped the new windows clean of any fingerprints. The windows themselves look great, work great, and aside from eliminating drafts and providing heat insulation, they also reduce outside noise (a bonus we hadn't expected). All in all, a good experience.

Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware)

I am shocked to see the positive reviews of this company. This was not my experience! I did notice one review about the window trim being not recommended and I fully agree.

We were told the new window trim would not require regular painting for upkeep and it sounded very good. It starts to go downhill from there. The price quoted had to be revised once an installer came due to different sizing. Once installed it was noted that the white was a different colour than the window frame .and we were advised that the colour was as close as they could get (pictures attached). There was not much choice at that point for us, as the old trim was gone. We were never advised of this colour variation during the sales presentation. They were put on with staple gun and some nail holes were filled, many not and that doesn t matter as they were filled with the wrong colour paint (picture attached).

A screen was removed from one of the windows that was not being done and never replaced. (We did spend over $25,000 having most of the windows in the house done). I have called and enquired about this and was told they would reimburse up to $50 for a new screen, which I had to source myself. Investigating this, I discovered that the cost would be up to $200 for service call, screen cost and installation and advised House Smart. I was told to go to a local place like Rona or Home Depot and buy one .and was requoted in writing (email available upon request) that they would reimburse up to $50 . I am not a window or screen installation expert, and found this advice daunting.

When the windows were installed some of the labels were left on the outside of the windows. One of the windows was the large one on the front of our house. When I called to ask for it to be removed, the receptionist suggested that I remove it myself. It was about 12 feet up, and I told her that was not something I could easily do Thankfully, it was taken care of, but not without having to insist upon their help.

Sadly, we spent over $25,000 with this company and expected a professional job. Now I have window trim that doesn t match, a missing screen and picked up so much garbage (snipped silicone container caps, pieces of stucco, nails, saw dust in our garage, etc.) it was ridiculous.

We are hoping that the actual windows we had installed will live up to expectations, nothing else has. From our experience we now worry about those, so we give a two star rating.

The first two pictures show the difference in colour and the fill of nail holes .and this is the finished product. I now have to hire a painter to come and paint this trim that was easy upkeep .

We had an excellent experience using House Smart Improvements for our furnace and thermostat replacement. The installers were neat, efficient, and completed the job in a rapid manner. I really liked the fact the installer taught me how to use the smart thermostat.

We had our windows and sidings in our house renovated and are extremely pleased with the results. The windows are of good quality to reduce noise from the outside and provides insulation to save our heating bills in the wintertime. This company operated quickly and their job was done in an efficient manner.

Had a furnace installed. Installation very good, but discrepancy between our quote and what we actually got installed (thermostat). Would not trust them. Thermostat nothing like the one quoted.

We recently had our front door and most of our windows replaced by House Smart. The crew were prompt and professional. The work was completed in less time than expected and the quality of both the work and materials was excellent. The crew was pleasant and thoughtful. Everything was left in great condition, with no mess. Before they left, we did a walk through, and the crew head explained everything that had been done and stressed the warranty. We were assured that if any issues arose, they would be quickly dealt with. A very positive experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We had an Air Quality test done prior to and after replacing windows.
They were quick and efficient, while providing excellent customer service. They took the time to go over the report with us explaining in detail what needed to be done.
The office staff booking the appointments were also very excellent with their customer service, and worked with our schedule, in a timely and efficient manner.

Greg was very professional and patient with and helped us choose replacement windows to upgrade our 20 year old home. Ultimately, we had 13 windows replaced. The crew that came was quick and professional replacing all the windows in a single day. The exterior of the home was spotless after the crew left. The new windows are great! The old aluminum windows we had were heavy and hard to open and close. The new ones slide so much nicer and they don't fog up or have pools of water after a cold day. Window was just installed last week, so cannot comment on durability, however, it looks great and the service was excellent. Of multiple quotes we received Brian was one of the few that visited the house and the only one who came prepared with a sample product, catalogs and took the time to discuss options. Installation team was efficient, friendly and professional.

The technician that carried out the installation did a fabulous job of dismounting the old windows and sliding door and installing the new ones respectfully. We chose to purchase new windows and we're looking for a company we could trust and would provide a quality product. We were impressed from the start. The Salesperson provided a list of companies to price out and get other estimates from and showed us what to look for to make sure we didn't make a poor choice. The estimate was very reasonable and the warranty Protects our investment. The install was professional and was done right. We are very happy with the results and the quality of the product and the install. Would recommend them to others.

Very happy with Homesmart. Replaced my 2 sliding doors as well as replacing fans in both bathrooms. They were very quick at installatios all in 1/2 a day a did a fabulous job at cleaning up and removing old doors.

I've never had to deal with Home Smart Home Improvement, other than being unable to back into my driveway, plus also watch the handi-van transit unable to pass their cuded truck. I'm sure with their vehicle could have pulled a little closer to the curb other than 4 feet away. On this little residential street, parking is definitely a premium, with that said it would also be nice if their workers didn't park in front of everyone else's homes. There would have been plenty of parking for them,a hundred feet down the road. I did ask them to move , and they said no.

We had Home Smart come in and put new windows in our home (Cascade windows). The staff were very friendly and personable. No long wait from time of ordering windows to installation. When the windows were in they came and removed and replaced the windows. Very pleased with how they look (notice a big difference in maintaining the heat in our home) The Manager also went over all the windows with my husband - he pointed out some glass deficiencies that we would have never noticed. They are ordering new glass and will be replacing any windows with deficiencies. When they left - everything was nice and neat. My husband and I have no problem in recommending House Smart Home Improvements.

House Smart replaced our wood siding with vinyl on our home. Ray arrived to quote the job the day after we called, very quick and courteous service and reasonable pricing. Brian scheduled the work within the week, and our technician Chris was on time, polite, professional, and great workmanship. We had requested some aesthetic changes after the job was complete and Home Smart returned to make the changes. Very happy with their service.

The quality of windows where good, the installers friendly. Had to do a few touch ups on paint that was not expected, but over all the work was done adequately.

This company is a dream to work with, the salesperson spends time to tell you in detail about the products and why you need the features that are incorporated. He has an easy job because the products are so good they beat the competition way out of left field, and we did look at the competitors.
When the team arrived to install the 10 windows that we ordered, all different sizes as it is an older house, it was one of the coldest days of last December. 4 hours later the windows were all installed and you would not have known anyone had been there, no mess anywhere. Just beautiful windows.

We had all of our windows replaced recently during the pandemic. The sales rep was very pleasant and professional. He did not try to upsell us to the most expensive windows but rather listened to our thoughts and provided the most appropriate type of windows to replace at a very reasonable cost. The crew that came to do the replacement did an excellent job. They were very pleasant and efficient throughout the time they were at our house. Always had the necessary coverings and was ever ready to address any of our concerns when we approached them. The new windows were well installed and what a difference it made after the replacement. Few days after the windows were replaced, we experienced a strong wind and rain fall. It was so quiet and warm, it didn't even notice until the next morning when we looked out the windows. The installation workmanship was really well done. Big applause to the installation crew!

what a pleasure to do business with a company like this. From the first meeting with Greg the salesperson to Cory and his installation team, and all the ladies in the office with whom I had contact. Everyone was so professional, polite and courteous. The installation crew was fantastic, they were so quiet you hardly knew they were in the house, they continually took their shoes off everytime they came in the house even though I told them not to bother. I was so pleased with the way Greg explained every thing about the windows and the procedures that would follow, and his expertise about the product, that I stopped even considering getting anymore quotes and decided this was the company I wanted to do my window replacements. Sick and tired of the cold and wetness that come with 40 year old aluminum windows we finally broke down and started looking into replacing them. I received a house smart flyer in my mail for a 100.00 dollars off per window so I thought I would look them up. Sales manager Jason came out to do a presentation on the atrium window line that they carry. For the money we wanted to spend Jason got me into a very nice looking window with great features. He is very knowledgeable and explained a lot of things that matter when purchasing windows and how the install would be done. So on a rainy cold day in the start of Dec. Cory and his crew showed up to do the re and re.I only worked a partial day that day so I could come home and kinda see what was going on. When I pulled up I was shocked see not a single piece of glass in my house and a crew buzzing around getting everything ready to put the new windows in. They were all really friendly and more than willing to answer any questions I had and in a couple of hours they had completely finished everything and cleaned up. I was blown away by how great the windows looked inside and out. Nice job guys and girl! My neighbor has already asked for the brochures and Jasons PH# hope he gets the same satisfaction I received. We had all our windows replaced mid-late 2016. The installation crew was very professional and knew what they were doing. I was sceptical that they would be able to do the work in a day, but they did, and cleaned up after themselves, they were like a well oiled machine. We haven't noticed any difference in our heat/electric bill, but it's a bit early for that, and difficult to gauge since the weather has been so cold compared to last year. However, our home is much quieter with the new windows, wind, rain, and traffic noise is a fraction of what it was with the old windows. Love it!
The only complaints I have is that with the cold weather, some of the caulking between the window frame and the wall (I haven't checked the exterior caulking) has pulled away from the wall, and that a bit of the factory paint on the exterior frames are scuffed and need a touch-up. I have yet to contact them regarding these issues, but I am not overly concerned about them.

We have used House Smart twice over for replacement windows. We got quotes from 4 companies and found that the sales rep for House Smart gave us the most informative presentation of all without making us feel pressured in any way. We didn't have to wait for a quote because as the sales rep said, "it isn't rocket science". With all the other companies we had to wait almost a week for a quote. We also found the installers to be very professional and proficient. We are very satisfied with our windows. They not only look great but they make a huge difference in temperature control. I would recommend House Smart anytime.

We had our furnace replaced by Home Smart. Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. Calls were returned promptly, the office staff was helpful & the installers showed they had lots of experience. Would definitively recommend Home Smart for furnace replacements.

Two bedrooms were not bright enough. House were built in 80's. Thought of cutting new windows for each. House Smart came with reasonable quotation and good solution. They did as they said. The installed new windows are impressive, almost cannot tell they are newly added. Very happy with their job! Now the two rooms are full of brightness.

I had French doors installed leading out to our patio. They are beautiful and we are very pleased with them. They are of very good quality and were reasonably priced. The installation process was trouble-free and the installers were very professional. We did a lot of shopping around before purchasing with House Smart and I'm so glad we found them. Starting with our visit from Bonita to the man that verified the measurements. We were happy to go ahead with the windows. The team was very good, friendly and did an excellent job of cleaning up. We were surprised to see how fast they completed the job and we would definitely recommend this company to friends.

Overall it has been a pleasure to work with House Smart so far. Here's the story so far:

A few years back we replaced all the windows in our house with new Vinyltek windows. House smart did not do the work, and the company that did is no longer in business. We wanted to install a new window and make it look exactly like the other windows already installed. House Smart was willing to take on this project and did a great job in general, accommodating our wishes. The installation crew was also great and worked well together... like a well oiled machine.

There are only two problems:

First problem is that the top window inside wooden casing trim had 3 screws which stick out and just look annoying to anybody with ADHD :-) But we can probably live with this. Also, the window sill is done slightly differently from the existing window sills. Again, annoying but we can probably live with this.

Second problem is that after a rain storm -- a few days after installation -- the window streamed up / fogged up on the outside. Please see attached photos. Not sure why this is happening. Doesn't happen on any of the older / existing Vinyltek windows. Am not keen on living with this as it makes it look like we have a grow op in the house or something :-) Have contacted House Smart to see what they say. Will update this review after they have responded.

Update: Home Smart did get back to me quickly. Seems like you can never predict which windows will steam up. Even in our house 25 existing windows don't stream up... But this 26th window does steam up under certain circumstances. So adding on a star because it was unfair to deduct a star for this in the first place.

This is the third time I have used House Smart to replace windows in my home. The salesman and installation crews have always been very professional. The work has been completed on time with minimal disruption to my family. The office staff kept me informed of appointments and also followed up with me after the installation to make sure I was happy. I am very pleased with the quality of my new windows, and would highly recommend this company.

Had our windows and entrance door replaced recently. From Bryan to Jason, we were most impressed. Bryan was very patient and answered all our questions.

We had windows installed a few days ago, and overall they look great! They appear to be good quality, and are super easy to open/close. However, the day of the installation I would recommend putting blankets/old towels on beds/floor as there was dust and particles everywhere, so I had to vacuum when coming home. There were also two energy drink left half-full on our lawn (thankfully the kids didn't get their paws on them!). Besides those two things, we were pretty satisfied (so far :) ).

I have found this company by Google it. Very professional, friendly and helpful company. I have got my answers to all of my questions. Bonita whom I talked to through the phone was very helpful and friendly. Stephen the installer was very helpful as well, he was explaining things as he was performing. QUICK AND EFFICIENT. I GOT MY ENTIRE HOME WINDOWS AND PATIO DOOR CHANGED IN A DAY AND HALF. I HAD MINIMAL CLEANING TO DO BECAUSE THEY HAS CLEANED MOST OF IT UP. DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

During the coldest snap of the year our 13 year old furnace decided to quit for good and we were desperate for heat and could not find a repairman to help us over the weekend. We called several heating businesses but they were either too busy or trying to sell us a product at a over inflated price. I contacted House Smart Home Improvements on Monday morning and Greg came right away. He assessed the problem and put us on the emergency list, because we had no heat they brought over portable heaters and set them up in the house providing us with enough heat to get by. The next day they had a new furnace installed that is 97% energy efficient which will save us money in the long run. The installer ran into problems with the manner in which the house had been originally built and he stayed late into the evening without even taking a break. They were incredibly polite, informative, answered all our questions in a straight forward manner. We are very satisfied with their work, sales manner, pricing and service. We would recommend House Smart Home Improvements to any of our family, friends and anyone we know experiencing similar problems.

It is just one year since we had the Goodman furnace installed and it kept us comfortable, even though we had the worst winter in many years. The installers really knew what they were doing [I am a retired Gas Fitter] and I would recommend them.

Of 3 quotes, the salesman at HSHI was the most honest and pleasant to deal with. He explained everything carefully and was extremely knowledgeable especially offering finance programs and how to get our rebates. Basically no hidden cost, what was on the quote will be exact. Our furnace is a top notch brand and has had no problem so far. For the windows, we have had an issue one time in 2012 and the customer service was excellent and prompt to resolve. Just recently, one window may have a seal broken and again we contacted them. Very impressed with the level of customer service for treating existing customer like new customer. This is so important in this day of age which is why I decided to post a review on them. I highly recommend HSHI!

I would not recommend this company to anyone! Not even one star but you have to in order to leave a review! We unfortunately used house smart home renovations to install hardie board siding on our house and from day one of the install there was nothing but issues! Nothing was installed in accordance with building code or James hardie recommended practices, boards were installed backwards and over top of nails from the old siding, there was absolutely no professionalism or pride in their work. When we voiced our concerns over installation deficiencies we saw we were met with excuse after excuse from their general manager, when we were concerned about water ingress in several areas we were told there is a warranty so in a couple of years when my house is moldy from water ingress because of poor workmanship then they would come and fix it! They were given multiple times to come and fix defects they made and every time they touched our house it got worse and worse!
Please don t make the same mistake we did, do not use this company for your siding install!!!

Retrofit windows...

our meeting for the initial quote was very informative and very reasonable for the quality of the windows we had chosen... our concerns with alternative methods of retrofit window installations were explained with an unbiased pros and cons... we received a pre-installation call to remind us of what needed to be prepped for the installation...

the supervisor arrived earlier than the crew to ensure everything was prepped for the job... as he arrived earlier than expected, it wasn't but he happily helped with taking down the remaining half of the blinds and valences... the rest of the crew was a little early themselves... they made short work of the 7 windows that were being installed and were done by the early afternoon... they cleaned up after themselves so well, that you couldn't even tell that they had even been there...

the installation crew was very professional and even cleaned the outside of the windows before they left... the supervisor even went through the window features and how to operate them and what to expect from them... overall an excellent job and customer service from our initial quote to the final installation... we're pretty confident that if we require after-sales service that we will receive the same level of excellence...

We heard about House Smart from our neighbours, so we had their sales guy over. He went through his pitch and it was more expensive than we thought, so we had to think about it. When we called him back to go with half the project, it was like a brand new conversation- he forgot what we talked about previously. He did end up honouring everything we discussed previously though. Then we had another guy come to take proper measurements, and eventually the installation crew. It took a while because we had a window custom-made for our kitchen. When the crew did the installation my husband was around and inspected their work. First, they forgot our custom window (which is the whole reason we had to wait so long in the first place). The boss ended up driving it out separately that same day so it could be installed the same day. They also forgot a few things with the installation, so my hubby had to get them to do it before they took off. I really recommend checking their work before they leave. Also, their general windows have a safety that breaks really easily, so we're not a super fan. On the other hand, the custom window we got is amazing and I highly recommend getting it custom, though it is more money!

Replacement of our windows was done on time, as promised, workplace was left tidy and the installing team did a great job. All courteous and willing to answer all your questions. Our home is roughly 25 years old and we were experiencing some drastic condensation and pooling of water on many of our 3rd floor windows causing water staining, mold, mildew and the start of rot on some of the window sills. It's a problem area for humidity due to the fact that there are three bedrooms and two baths on this floor. So the condensation and mold were our main concerns when we decided to replace all the windows in our home. We had about half a dozen companies in for quotes. Greg did a thorough job of explaining the product and process from start to finish and was there to answer or help us with any questions we had. House Smart wasn't the cheapest (nor were they the most expensive) and what really sold us was the warranties (lifetime on both product and labour). Corey and his install crew were professional, punctual, efficient and completed the job as outlined. As with any big project (lucky us, we had 41 windows to replace!) it went over the projected timeline by a half day. There were also few things that we found that needed addressing such as a ripped window screen and a prominent scratch in one of the windows. Corey pointed out a few more things to us that he found that need correcting - things that we would have never have known were problems. It took longer than expected for the replacement window to arrive (and it also had a noticeable scratch on it, so that replacement needed to be replaced) but besides the extra time it took, the issues were remedied efficiently and hassle free. Corey also pointed out more than once that if we found anything else wrong, at any time in the future, to simply call and they will take care of it. After spending a pretty good chunk of change, it's nice to have those lifetime warranties reinforced like that so we don't have to worry about them not backing up their product or work. We're happy with our investment and would definitely recommend House Smart to anyone looking to replace or upgrade their windows.

Very happy from start to finish with my furnace installation.Everyone was very professional.

We had single pane aluminum windows that needed to updated. Some windows were a challenging install and I wondered how this would go. The salesman had good answers to my questions. We had to reschedule at one point and that went well. The office kept us informed. The installation was completed in one day and we were very pleased with the result.

We had our windows installed a few months ago we decided to go with with House Smart because we found that they were priced well and the sales person was very knowledgeable (so we thought). a few weeks ago one of our windows started to leak when we had a bit of rain we contacted house smart who said that they would have someone come out and take a look and they will get back to us. My husband and I waited for a call back for a few days. When we got a call back it was a offer that they had purposed "wright us a good review and we will send you a $50 Cheuqe in the mail" I was appalled they had the nerve to ask me to wright a good review when they din't and still dint address the issue. I would never recommend this company ever and now understand why they have all these great reviews offering there customers $50 to say nice things about there company. We have now hired another company to come in and fix the problem that House Smart still din't address or call us back.

We hired them to put vinyl siding on our house. It took roughly five months for them to complete the job. Poor quality work. Scraps and nails were strewn across our lawn and building materials were dumped in our garbage and recycling. Their contractor covered over our dryer vent and we were not able to do laundry for several days until he came back to fix it. The job was left unfinished and pieces, which were improperly installed, fell off in the wind. My complaints about the poor work were initially rebuffed until I brought in a home inspector. I've had friends, family, and random neighbours tell me what a poor job it was. Also, the company charged money to our credit card without our authorization. We had a very negative experience and will avoid this company for any further home improvements.

This is NOT a review for Shell Busey, this is for Housesmart 110%. Worst contracting company ever, horrible service, horrible warranty; never on time, hard to reach, bad communication!! Just here to con your money, we feel helpless. Not worth a dime of your money or any of your time whatsoever, go somewhere else. What a waste of a company.

We contacted House Smart near the end of the summer of 2015. An appointment was set up and we met Greg. He presented his product and from the start we felt comfortable and confident with what he said. After repeating this process with several other companies we kept coming back to Greg's presentation. We, of course, chose House Smart to reside and put new windows in our house. We met the installation crew led by Cory and were equally impressed with them as we were with Greg. The work was done quickly and efficiently and there was never a mess left at the end of the day. The siding looks great and the windows are everything we hoped for. This time last year we were mopping up condensation from the inside of our windows. This year we are as dry as a bone. YEAH!!!!! We have had tons of compliments and never hesitate to tell everyone the work was done by House Smart!
In the weeks that followed were have been contacted by Melanie and Sandy to do follow ups. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. We give them a high recommendation!

House Smart Home Improvements installed new windows at our house in Coquitlam. The sales rep Glenn was extremely professional and polite and took the time to walk us through the types of windows and what might work best for us on our budget. We ended up selecting a mid-range window and are very happy with the quality of the windows. The installers arrived on time on our install date, were extremely professional and helped clean up at the end as well. One of the windows was missing some springs and the general manager came by the next day to install them himself and make sure we were happy with the install experience and windows themselves.

Good honest company with fair prices. The price we were quotes was exactly what we paid. I felt that they are an honest company, trying to provide good quality products at very reasonable prices. We replaced 21 windows in our home and the work was done over 2 days. The bathroom window had a defect and the installation team let us know that they would have to order a new window. To me, this is quality service. They could have tried to install the window and hope we didn't notice. Instead, they ordered a new window and had to come back out to install it. Everything looks great, the crew did a great job tidying up and leaving everything spotless. There was a big difference in our home, the new windows definitely do a great job in keeping the house warm when it's cold outside and cool when it's hot outside!

I selected House Smart Home improvements to replace the windows in my home after receiving a few quotes from different companies. They were not the cheapest, but by far not the most expensive either. Glenn MIller, their sales representative came out and explained and showed their product to me. He was quite helpful in explaining their process for removal and replacement of the windows and answered questions promptly when I emailed him after our first meeting. A deposit fee was paid and Cory came out to confirm measurements and a date was set up for installation. The crew arrived at the time and on the date that was scheduled and Cory with Steve as leads for the crew did an excellent job of the installation. End clean up was good and Steve went over the windows as we did a walk around. There was a follow up call a few days later from Gianna and an email from Glen just to make sure everything was satisfactory. Overall a very good experience and would recommend House Smart.

HouseSmart, Specifically Greg Hazelwood is the example every installer and supplier should follow. We are having issues with our windows and mold in between the glass panes. Another window company quoted us 4517 to replace 3 windows saying that the unit was failing most likely due to age and a bad seal. Greg looked at our windows, walked me through how to find the age, understand the manufacturer markings and was honest and direct that the issue was most likely with the glass unit as our windows are only 9 years old. He looked out for us instead of making a quick buck. I cannot express the gratitude and relief he has given us (our house was built in 79 and we have quite a few projects that need to be done).

Greg, the sales rep. was knowledgeable, brought product samples, answered all questions. Jason and his crew of capable installers arrived on schedule, did a great job taking out all old windows and installing new ones, did a thorough job. Installation was all done by day's end as promised, good finished appearance, and thorough job clean-up. We started getting quotes to replace both windows and doors in May 2020. We decided to go with House Smart for our windows and another company for our doors. House Smart delivered and installed our windows in the timeframe promised. We are extremely happy with our new windows. Although we paid a 50% deposit for our doors, it is over 6 months later and the door company still has not completed the job. We regret not doing both jobs through House Smart.

After a long search for the right vendor to do business with, House Smart was by far the company which not only gave great service but truly wanted my business. The office staff, salesman were excellent and friendly. More importantly the installation crew were fantastic! Friendly, prompt, on time, professional, quick and clean...what more could you ask for. House Smart Home Improvements just did all the windows in my home. Price-wise they were on par with the other companies I had quoted. They came in and we discussed each window and how I wanted it (which direction to open or not open) They booked 4 days to complete the job and did it in 2 and 3rd day for some touch up! There was a large crew and they were everywhere. They worked as a team and the install was quick and painless. They were polite and very diligent with clean up. The product looks fantastic! I like the locks and screen system.
