House Smart Home Improvements Review

Great company, great product!
We have most of our windows replaced with House Smart and I tell you - it's made a huge difference!
Our house was getting extremely hot during summer and I've always blamed it on poor ventilation in the attic. However, after we installed new VinylTek windows with House Smart, it is no longer the case. Our house is cool in the summer and warm when it is cold outside. Wind drifts are no longer an issue.
Installation was fast - all done in 1 day by a crew of 5-6 people. They worked fast and professionally. What I like the most - I did not hear a single swear word!
Why did I put 4 stars and not 5? For 2 reasons:
1) I found 2 nails in the grass (one might thing - not a big deal, but my children run barefoot in the backyard, so it was a deal for us)
2) they removed and put back the vertical blinds for our patio door. I tried to open the blinds the next day I they did not work properly. I called the office and they could send somebody only in 3-4 weeks to check on the issue. I managed the fix the problem myself (it was an easy fix).

Overall: I would highly recommend this company and the product (VinylTek windows) as both are great!

We just had our windows replaced in a 14 unit apartment complex and we were very impressed with everyone from House Smart Home Improvements. The first person we met was the representative he came by and brought samples of what the windows would look like. He was very knowledgeable about the product. Really easy to work with. The crew that came in to install the windows were outstanding.
Very efficient came on time completed the project a day early. Very helpful and considerate as far as accommodating people that had to make arrangements for their pets. Follow up was also very good I am confident that in the future they will stand by their warranty. I would recommend this team to anyone looking at the big task of replacing their windows.

After living in the house for 17 years, me and my husband think it's a good time to change all windows now. We did some research and decided to choose Home Smart Home Improvements to complete the job. They really did a good job, from guiding to choose the right type of windows/doors to installing properly. Even we got 6 months no interests finance. We got a lot of accomplishment from neighbors and friends. Now we just need to repaint the house and it'll have a new look. Thanks, House Smart!

Since we had our new energy efficient windows installed, our home looks better and has been less drafty and more comfortable. We didn't even have screens before and it is especially nice in the summertime to have them. The staff at House Smart Home Improvements did a very professional job in a timely manner. They were in and out in no time. I feel we got the best price as well. Today I am having a new furnace installed by House Smart Home, and I would definitely recommend the company.

Every detail was addressed and they did exactly what they said they would do. We were pleased with the first four windows and door installed, that we are now ordering six more to be done by them.

I needed to replace 11 windows in my home. I called to get three different quotes for my windows. I choose Home Smart came to my home the Rep Ruth was amazing she walked me through each step of inserting the windows, the thickness of the windows, the styles of windows I could choose from. Ruth explained the cost the financing that was available if needed. When they came to rip out the old windows and replaces the casing around the windows and put the windows in they were very polite, professional and what was really nice the clean up job and the instructions of every detail of the windows. We were extremely impressed with the way the staff members showed up to our house, introduced themselves, and let us know that they will be working on our house. The time it took to complete the job was very satisfactory. The final work was excellent. The clean up after was very good. And I would recommend them anytime.

House Smart was recommended by a friend .We had alot of quotes done and did extensive reseach on window quality.Although they were not the cheapest the quality and especially the warranties are the best.The crew came and did an amazing job! They were tidy and very professional.Seven windows and a patio door in about 5 hours!Will recommend to any of friends.

From the sales and project coordination to the the product and installation I found House Smart to be very personable , efficient and cost effective.

We had been considering replacement of some windows on our 45 year old house for sometime. When we saw their product mentioned in an emailed promotion by a trusted business exchange we called House Smart. Their rep came by within a day or so to see what was required. He left a full info package with us describing their products. We then met at their showroom in Coquitlam to see actual examples, and to obtain a quote. All looked good and we ordered four sets of large replacement windows for the front of our house. We paid a deposit with the balance due on installation. A technician then came by to confirm the measurements. At that time we pointed out that we wished to retain our existing storm windows in case the new windows did not reduce traffic noise to our comfort level. Their office sent a remainder of the installation date and procedures we could follow to enhance the installation. Their three person crew arrived on time with a fully equipped installation truck. They were very capable and professional. We now have attractive and functional updated windows. Their office followed up to ensure that we were satisfied with their work. Our retained engineer checked out the installation and gave a thumbs up. Our initial confidence in House Smart, arising from our mutual membership in a trusted business exchange, was certainly justified. We have just placed a further order with House Smart to replace a jaded sliding door to our indoor pool with a new installation matching our new windows. We feel our confidence will again be justified.
