And up from Charleston to see a band at the deck - ordered margaritas and a brisket sandwich. More bread than meat ... was alright - serviced with a bag of potatoe chips which was a little weak- almost looked like a meal to go.
Ordered more drinks - everyone after that was more watered down than the next. They charge 7.50 per margarita - the cups were different sizes - every time - you weren t sure what you were going to get.
The last round we had was so watered down it literally tasted like a cup of ice water. We asked the bar tenders about them and they got all defensive. They said they were calling over a manager but that never happened . He ended up giving us a double shot of the tequila.
Also one of the band members came over to Say hello . He tried to get the bartenders attention and couldn t - so I did and he asked for a drink and they ended up putting it on my tab!!!! I never asked or said anything about ordering him a drink . All we did was get him to come over and get the man a drink. The bar tenders spent more time chit chatting or on their cell phones than serving customers real drinks. Total tourist trap ! Buyer beware!

Drove 4 hours, then stood outside in heat for another 4-5 hours. We were told the line into the fast pass would be in one location. It wound up being in a completely different place, so all of us that waited for hours got in behind all the ones that arrived hours late . When asking staff they said "we don't know what happened". Just poor respect to customers, especially when having to pay extra for fast pass.

The staff was very attentive, very accommodating. Everyone is very friendly, the music playing Rocks!!! The original Al Capone bar peice with bullet marks in it was really cool and my favorite. The brisket and BBQ pork was my favorite.

Pricey, but the food is excellent! Big portions as well. Our waiter was super nice and had a dry sense of humor that was timed perfectly. Wish they had the live performances so we could have experienced the whole deal, but, given the circumstances of covid-19, I get it.

The restaurant prices are much too expensive for the quality of food. The bartenders in the restaurant were great. The ones in the concert bar seemed very irritated, flustered, and annoyed. Being their job, as it's been mine to do the same for 15 years I wish they would have been more accommodating. Other than that I had a great time!!!

This review is for Jessi Pendleton. Your service is terrible, and you are horrible person. We spend thousands of dollars at House of Blues with our groups and our school and we will never set foot in there again thanks to you personally!

If you are going to have ADA reserved sections for people with disabilities then you need to make sure that those people are indeed disabled. 1st time here and even though our bar experience before the Classic experience was awesome, the bartenders at the concert venue were subpar at best. Most likely 1st and last time here. Super disappointed!

went in for lunch on april 14, 2013. my wife had the appitizer pulled pork barbarque sliders, they were dry and very little sauce and pork tasted old like it was cooked the week before. i had the avacodo tomatillo tacos. they super hot and had a one tiny slice of avacodo. no indication the tacos were way up on the scoval scale. the decore was deplorable and the place was a dump and dirty. when the manager was confronted she kept interrupting me and wanted to give my money back. chef sancez (judge on chopped) owns this restuarant and he needs to get more involved with his business.

Gospel brunch: the singers/entertainment portion gets 5 stars. They were absolutely phenomenal. The food, however, is where I'm giving the 3 stars. The last time we were here (10+ years ago) we were blown away by the food. I remember it being set up in the kitchen and the selection was overwhelming, not to mention absolutely delicious. That was not the case today. The chicken and waffles, the tenders weren't even hot. The croutons in the salad were completely soggy. The buffet itself didn't seem like it was being refreshed well. For $40 a person, we weren't very impressed.

The House of Blues Myrtle Beach is not only a 5 star venue but also has the very BEST staff!
Nicholas Pineda is truly an asset to this venue!
We saw Corey Smith a few nights ago to ring in the new year and we were blown away by the hospitality, care and incredible accommodations shown to us by Nicholas.
He went above and beyond in so many ways to make sure our night was great, along with going non stop all night to keep the entire venue running smoothly for this event.
The kindness, Nicholas showed us, restored my faith in humanity.
Our server, Kaitlyn, was also a gem! She was attentive, prompt, kind and also went the extra mile to make the night perfect for us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the 5 star treatment shown to us. It was a night I ll forever be grateful for.

I m a local and frequent the venues as well as the deck. Through the years there has always been an issue with bartenders charging more and more for drinks. Now it s about the drinks themselves, they are watered down. Ordered a shot of Jose Cuervo which was served in such a tiny plastic cup which couldn t even be considered a half shot. Happy f that isn t bad enough, when I drank it it was mainly water. I asked for the manager and her response was it s because it was chilled. WHATTTT. Watered down drinks are exactly that. Enough of this BS. NEVER AGAIN.

We had a fabulous experience at the House of Blues from the moment I booked our trip online to see Travis Tritt in concert.
The HOB emailed me multiple coupons, perks and a dinner reservation prior to coming down. With all that taken care of, we were able to go straight to our table upon arrival, enjoy some really delicious dishes ( I highly recommend the BBQ Ribs) and obtain a front row spot for the packed show.
Thank you so much House of Blues for your outstanding hospitality!!

I've had a lot of good times here. I wish it was bigger would be the only thing I would change. It's really the only place in Myrtle Beach you can go to hear a decent concert other than country music fest. I like the variety of people they bring in.

The staff were very helpful and very polite. I tried a voodoo shrimp dish but wasn't that happy so the staff gladly offered me to get some thing else. This is an awesome place with a lot of history in it. A must visit location. Great people and lots of entertainment. And the bread pudding was to die for. Awesome!!!

Is there no table service past 9:30 pm on the Deck? No one even spoke to us.We saw several people get food, we saw several people get drinks but we were walked pasted every time. We stayed literally because the band was awesome.

I love this place so much. It has it's bad and it's good, but it's the experience of the House of Blues that you go there for. Small indoor venues are different from huge grass venues. It's hot. It's also loud, bright, and soul filling. Folk art that has wonderful meaning behind it (I suggest taking photos of the artist tabs under the art and looking them up), make sure to check out the art gallery too! Oh and really good quick bites!

I went to the HOB to see my favorite band, The Avett Brothers. The concert was sold out, selling 2000 tickets. There were way too many people to be comfortable in that venue. There was no space to move around and people were rude. I left the orchestra pit to go to the bathroom, and when I went to go back to find my friends, the other attendees barricaded me and put their arms to my throat to prevent me from entering. It was so tight and claustrophobic I could not breathe. The nicest people were the bathroom attendants and the security personnel. Perhaps the HOB should consider their patrons' comfort and safety before profit. Loud music in a overcrowded and hot wooden room mixed with alcohol makes for a dangerous situation. People's attitudes that weekend were definitely not in congruence with what the Avett Brother's music is all about. Apart from the band's setlist, this was not a pleasant experience.

Went with a friend to chipandales show. We had issues with our tickets and being placed in our seats. After voicing that we have been moved around 3 times Nicolas came through and gave us fantastic service and check in to make sure we had a great time. Turned what could of been a bad experience into a excellent and fun one. Thank you!

Went to the Deck for drinks two times this week, service is super slow if you don't go straight up to the bar but the atmosphere is great and extremely relaxing, they always have live music and happy hour is from 6-7. The waitresses are very nice. We also did the mystery dinner, $188 for 4 people, but it's tons of fun. You get a Three-course meal and it's a really cool way to eat dinner, interactive and funny. The food is super good, too. This is our second time doing it and we enjoyed both a lot. They have a new show every month.
