Good happy hour with lots of food and drink specials. Most of their appetizer menu is on special for happy hour. It also has specials on beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Lovely atmosphere with outdoor patio. Good place to mingle and to meet friends.
We were seated, I asked for a booth told there were none available but soon after others were seated and served before anyone came to our table, as we were headed towards the door. Service was extremely SLOW and I had to just leave my payment at the table because the waitress never came back

I came down here to eat, I do not recommend this place whatsoever!!! There is a roach in my food, no lie! The manager Jody refused to replace it and told me that I must be mistaken about the roach , again do not go there to eat it. I could not believe the level of unprofessionalism which was displayed at this restaurant!!!
This Houlihans is great & honestly so much better than the Overland Park one. The service and staff are awesome and friendly. The food is always fresh, and the happy hour prices are great.
Tried a new featured entree. Disappointed the menu had been drastically shortened and some favorite items were gone. New dish was very tasty but too expensive. Service was good.

$15 for a baked potato that had absolutely very lottle garnishes and a small steak and another small side. The value quanity for quality it was my birthday but my wife ordered the same I never eat here except once a year for Birthdays. It isn't worth what you get to make it palpable.
Love the chicken lettuce wraps!!! And their golden mashed potatoes and filet... Medium rare!! So so yummy! Oh and they have great happy hour deals on food!!

Nice patio, wine was priced well, food was reasonably priced. Had the seared tuna with Asian slaw only negative was the Asian slaw, apparently they felt a side salad over a fried wonton chip was Asian.
The lady running the bar was so rude...2nd time in a row. We got up and left with out eating. I eat there often but won't be back again. This was lunch on 9-4-2020 if management wants to do something about it.

Interesting fact, according to the menu, the side dishes cost $4.00 and the soups and salads cost $4.50; however, if you order a steak dinner and substitute a soup or salad for a side item, you pay an extra dollar (not 50 cents)! It doesn't make sense!
Bacon in salad was cooked until it was like pebbles. Waiter said they had several complaints but they didn't see need to change anything. Place is always busy and it is pricey.

Wife's sirloin was extremely grisly and was not cooked correctly and there was zero juices. Hamburger's flavor was nothing like the Angus burger they no longer serve.

I am really not sure how to rate this yet. We were there on Dec 6th and had an amazing dinner the food was very good and we had a very nice waitress. It was my sons 23 Birthday and we were excited to go here since we had never been yet. They gave him a very nice desert for his birthday so as of that night I would have given 5 stars. Howevery my Son got severe food poisoning and I almost took him to the ER. He had never been this sick in his whole life. I have no idea what part of the food he ate that made him sick but I have no doubt it was from eating here. I will rate this experience later depending on how management handles this issue. We paid a good price for the food and the food poisoning basically ruined the experience. For now I am giving 2 stars because we did have a good experience up until the unfortunate turn for the worse.
I tried to write Houlihan's in private via their website hoping to come to some closure on the terrible night we had but it's been 5 days and I haven't heard anything...Looks like corporate is just as bad at service as they are in the restaurants themselves.
We came in last night (6/5) and sat at the bar to have dinner. We have come here about once a month for years and have NEVER had an experience like last night. Both times that we have come and had service by this bartender, it is atrocious. She has an incredibly terrible attitude and makes the whole experience awful. I don't know her name but she is a shorter woman, blond or light brown hair, and a cranky air that is
hard to miss. She greets her regulars with a smile and conversation and all but ignored us (sitting right next to them). She ordered us
the wrong food and we had to get up from l our seat to ask for plates and napkins to eat with. I sat with an empty drink hoping to get
another and by the time she sauntered over and mumbled at me, I was no longer interested and wanted to leave. We had to ask twice for napkins and she finally reluctantly tossed a stack of bar napkins at us. We come to Houlihan's because we like the food, the service is usually awesome, and it's a good excuse to have a couple of drinks. When the service sucks like it did last night, not only do we spend a lot less money
because we leave sooner but it makes us second guess coming back. I hope that in the future this girl checks her attitude at the door or tries a different industry. Her only job is to be nice and since she can't even do that, maybe this isn't the job for her.

We went on New Years Eve, fully expecting it to be busy and to have to wait. That was NOT our issue. They had 3 hostess up front. It took several minutes for one to even acknowledge us, put our name on the list and told us to would be 30 minutes. There is nowhere to wait inside and the bar was full so we sat on the seats in the breeze way. Between the 3, THREE hostesses, they went past my name and when I asked why they said they couldn t find me at the bar. However. After waiting maybe 10 minutes in the breezeway I came back in, because it was too cold. The hostess did not greet me this time and obviously to them I was a new customer as they had given my spot away. I stood there for 35 minutes before asking why I was waiting almost double I was told I was going, and seeing people be seated that came in after me. The 2/3 hostess said OH that was you and laughed. No apology. The only reason I didn t complain last night was because they were busy. Jordanne our server was AWESOME the food was GREAT but the meal started on a sour note when your hostesses were too busy dancing around and playing with each other that they forgot I existed.
I always order scallops with risotto and eat every morsel!

Great vegetarian options for a chain. Pretty diverse menu that they even change up regularly. Usually not too crowded to get a table and decent happy hour deals. If you're in the suburbs and want a good bite to eat that's not Applebees, this will do.

I visited Houlihan s during their Saturday Happy Hour, sitting down about 2:45 pm. My friends and I sat on the bar side so we could order drinks and food on the happy hour menu. The food was delicious, but the service could ve been significantly better. Our waiter, Rhett, didn t appear pleasant, we tried to ask questions about items on the menu and he kept the answers short. I asked him to share how the Parmesan Frites were served and I was given, It s fries with Parmesan cheese and comes with three sauces, with no details of what the sauces were. He didn t smile, didn t ensure we had silverware or napkins (we had to ask for those items separately), and overall I wasn t pleased enough to return to this particular Houlihan s due to the service, but I would return because of the amazing taste of the BBQ Chicken Flatbread and their She Sells Seashells Cocktail.
EDIT: I received a gift certificate from the Marketing PR and plan to revisit the establishment.

They have great appetizers. The spinach dip is amazing and I also love their wings and lettuce wraps. It's a good spot for happy hour as well.

Pretty good food, decent service. I got the So. Cal fish tacos and they were very tasty! It did take us a while to get refills on our drinks and we weren't offered any desserts, but they were a little busy. I'll definitely give it another try!
I haven't been there in years. We went in for the $5 cheeseburger special we saw on Facebook. However, when we were ready to order they stated you had to have an email code. No where in the FB post did it state that. Nor could you sign up to get their emails. I doubt I go back anytime soon. Their loss not mine...I got the $4.50 soup...it was good.
It was our first time as a family to eat here and we all loved it! Great food and Great Service, Wonderful Atmosphere. We will definitely be back for more!

Service was great! Cauliflower appetizer Great! New Salmon dish so so. The Salmon and Pesto sauce Great but the Orzo Salad that accompanied it was so very bland. Told the server in hopes we could express this to the manager but nothing happened...Too bad!
I went with a group. Everyone was a little disappointed with their food, especially considering the prices. Cocktails were good, but not very strong.

I've only been here once but I'd say the food is over priced for the quality. My husband and I got burgers, they were alright, the sweet potatoe fries were tasteless, and salad was not good. My kids got: a tiny burger, a hard grilled cheese, and a few popcorn shrimp with chips and salsa. No one would eat the salsa. The waitress was friendly and we got right in. We did have to wait a little while for the check. The place is nice but I don't think we'll be back to try anything else.
Tried Houilhans for the first time last night with my family. Got seated right away. Booths were comfy. The two hostesses looked very bored, and one of them kept staring off in space but it looked like she was staring directly at me the entire meal.(We were seated by front area) Our server was awesome. Wish I knew his name. He was so friendly to us and our kids- drink refills were on point and all the little requests we made (like sauces for our kids) he remembered and brought with our meal. The meal it self was okay. I loved the house salad- it was so fresh and delicious. My daughter's popcorn shrimp was really good- the menu says "dapper mac and cheese" I was expecting something grand- it was literally kraft mac and cheese. My 3 year old didn't eat it- but the fries were fresh and very good. The house ranch was different but delicious. I got a 612 burger and it was pretty good but we also got a French Dip and it was not good at all- I would recommend not getting it. The beef was so dry and bread was hard. Other than that it was a wonderful meal. Family friendly environment. Very clean front and bathrooms. Again, our server was just great!
I went to pick up an order I called in and the sauce from the wings were drenching the shrooms. When I called in, they kept assuring me this is how they always package it. Ib
We went in to eat lunch since I had never been. After looking over the menu I didn't see anything vegetarian/vegan friendly. I asked the waitress if there were any substitutes or if there were any vegetarian options not listed. She said no. I asked if I could leave the meat off of the lasagna or replace it with mushrooms (some other veggie) she said no they make all of the food in the morning. So if you have food allergies or cannot eat certain foods I DO NOT recommend this place.

They have a nice happy hour. The chicken avocado egg rolls were delicious as well as the spinach dip. Food and drink prices were decent. When we initially got there, we sat for almost 10 mins without seeing our server. We even had to grab someone to clean our table off. Watched the waitress attend to the same two tables over and over. We eventually got up and went to the bar where we were served right away and received excellent service.
After waiting over 25 MINUTES of being done with my meal the Creme Brulee I ordered was finally delivered cold, the manager only offered to reduce my bill by 2 dollars after my request to completely remove it from my bill. Poor & very rude management, she refused to see why I was upset and offered 2 appetizer coupons I clearly expressed why I would never come back. Service is much better in the Springfield location.
Menu changed very disappointed.. Had mahi mahi it was burnt crispy, my husbands vegetable was Brussels sprouts they were not cooked enough we really liked coming here, we may need to rethink our comfort place. And no more artichoke poppers!!!! And thats what we come here for...
