Mgmt and staff unreasonable when it comes to accommodating guest needs. 1st time visiting just paid for drinks and left. Will not be returning to this location to many other options to choose from .

Their advertising is awesome and keeps drawing me back, but they aren't equipped for any sizable crowd. Also, why the heck are Happy Hour specials only "at the bar" - there's no seating or separation for the bar, so I pay more. Food wasn't good either, burned.....

I was there with my Mother-in-Law and my Brother-in-Law. It took us 20 minutes after we were seated before we had our drink orders taken. After that is took over another 30 minutes before our food arrived. When it arrived, the food was cold.

We did mention all of this to our waiter, and the manager spoke to us along with writing off our appetizer. That's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 star.

It has definitely gone down hill in recent years. We have had dinner here multiple times in the past few years, and it seems like every time it gets worse and worse.

Unless there are some drastic changes that we hear about, we won't be returning.

Our server was quite INattentive. He would take orders from some at the table and leave before waiting or even asking if there were other orders. 2 appetizers arrive, a long wait before taking meal orders, another appetizer arrives, and the rest of the food for a table of 9 arrives while we wait 12 minutes to ask our server about a missing appetizer to arrive. When that last appetizer finally arrives (southwest egg rolls) they look hard, dry, and ashy. They actually crunched like chips when bitten into. We had to ask for 4 boxes several times before receiving them.
I used to be a staple at the Lee's Summit Houlihan's, but now I only seem to visit once or twice per year (usually due to someone requesting a birthday dinner there). It's sad that I can't even have a decent visit the few times I do go there.

Husband ordered $26 steak. Very rare when ordered medium. First 3 bites were pure fat. Left 1/3 of it on the plate. Waiter came over as he was spitting it out and asked how the steak was. When we showed him the first 3 bites, he apologized and left. The cook then came out and gave my husband a critic on rare vs medium. Then the manager came over and gave a lecture on how he used to cut/trim steak at Longhorn and how he would never serve that cut of steak and how he grills and how his pork butt was dry over the weekend. Never apologized for the service or interrupting our dinner. We were not wanting a handout, just was offering our opinion when asked. That did not require 2 staff to come give excuses why the steak was bad or "school" us as we were trying to eat. Manager didn't offer discount, free deserts or anything. Manager and cook need a customer service lesson. Next time we will take the manager's suggestion and go to Longhorn Steak...which by the way was where my husband wanted to go originally and I talked him into Houlihans.

Food was delicious! Didn't like the happy hour restrictions especially when they bar is full and there are no other options. Need to open it up and staff appropriately so more customers can enjoy happy hour pricing!

Server acted that she was being put out. That she didn't even want to be there. The wraps fell out the bottom so both of us ate it like a salad and the fries were cold. And 32 dollars for 2 wraps is ridiculous

This trip was with my daughter and granddaughter. My daughter had the Louisiana Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries. She said the sandwich is spicy. My granddaughter had macaroni and cheese. She said it was good. During a previous delicious lunch I had soup and salad and my husband had a bacon hamburger. He had the regular bacon today because he says the brown sugar bacon is too sweet for him. Previously I have had the chocolate brownie with ice cream. Oh man, It was delicious! We really like eating at Houlihan's. We have tried different items and all have been delicious. A couple of my favorites are the Shrooms and the Scallops. The soups are great too. We have eaten there at lunch and dinner time both and service has always been good. We have never taken part in the Happy Hour but we have observed how busy and popular it is.

Don't go to the bar if you're a guy. Takes forever to get a drink, and hopefully it's what you ordered. If the red haired kid is behind the bar still, he was quite arrogant and rude. Don't ask him for a dry vodka martini.

We used to frequent Houlihans. Sadly, the past three visits the host staff were incredibly rude, gave confirmations regarding reservations, only to be told upon arrival they do not make reservations . We ve always been able to reserve and this establishment also has access to reserve on Open Table. Today when giving it a final try, because we have dearly loved this place, I was told that a reservation was made, but only to find when I phoned to confirm, that the hostess stated to me that there was a wait already and they could not make the reservation. When asking her why I was told I had a reservation, she did not understand my question and became impatient. I requested to speak to a manager and was on hold with no one answering.
We will not be returning to a Houlihans. Please train staff to adhere to customer service policies and remove your name organization for Open Table.

Very disappointing. My husband I had a free birthday desserts that I asked if we could sub for a salad. We have blood sugar disease and cannot have sugar. We weren't allowed to that. Everyone has different health issues. Allowances should be made. Wow. Disappointing.

The bartender wasn't very attentive, (this could very on the visit and time of day) I and a few friends went on a weekday during happy hr. It wasn't busy. Took an average of 20 min to get a new drink. Spent around $65.00 their saving grace we're their parmesan fries. Other than that I wouldn't visit again. Just being honest

I hadn't been to a Houlihan's in a long time so the menu was pretty new to me. I decided to go with the 3 course meal. An appetizer of chicken wings (excellent), seated scallops and risotto with a side of asparagus, and cheesecake for dessert (again delicious). The scallops and risotto arrived without any asparagus. The scallops were well prepared, the risotto was ok. When asked about the side of asparagus, our server tried to tell me that the asparagus was "in" the risotto even though the menu clearly stated a side of asparagus (gimme a break). Anyway, will visit again.

We went on a Friday night just after rush, probably 8:30 and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Our server, Sophia, was prompt, and took really good care of us. I have a tendency to pare my choices to two and then take the server s suggestion. I opted for a dinner trio of the Brentwood chicken, the fried mushrooms. The chicken was actually quite nice, the mushrooms were slightly overdone but quite tasty. My wife loved her soup and salad and thought her top shelf margarita was excellent. Sophia was on top of things, and wasn t annoying, pushy, or missing in action. She suggested we get the vanilla bean cheesecake, and omg I m still thinking about it a week later. It was so toasty and carmelly and yum. Great experience. Only suggestions I guess would be to get a few more varieties of local beers. crane, Martin City, etc. Lastly have bussers or managers chase a bissel around when possible. Not that place was dirty, but people that arrive later at night shouldn t have to see untidy floors. We will certainly be back. Dinner for two with drinks and a dessert for 44 bucks.... uh yes please.
