Very good. Bryan is a great server. The test kitchen menu is always fun for trying new things.

Empty tables on a Saturday night and the wait is still over an hour. Then you wait another hour to get your food, what little of it there is, and then wait even more to pay and leave. Is this what happens when you let millennials run your restaurant?

Took forever, child's burger was overcooked and when remade it was undercooked.

FIRST time ever had an unsatisfactory dinner, 2 WELL UNDER PREPARED Filet's and the manager was actually rude and almost argued with us about how the steak was done. Bloody is not Medium Well.

They chgd their honey mustard sauce to a gross mustard paste... the food seasoning was not like b4 covid ... they need to shut down or change their name ...

I took my mother once I realized she had never been. It was a great experience! The food was great as always. The hostess girls were sweet and professional, and our waitress was everything!!! Her name was Amanda. She went over the menu with my mom and suggested appetizers and entrees, which we ordered. Her presence was always timely as she checked on us and be she was very personable.

Houlihan's is always great! Being able to make a reservation makes it even greater. I hope continue making reservations after the pandemic. Social distancing, masks and attention to hygiene are in place adding to a safe evening.

This is the best Houlihan's in the city! The staff is nice and the food is always on point!

Food was decent. Service was great. Location is not bad. All-in-all, I'd rank them above your average All-American chain restaurant. *Note that they have specific requirements on where you can sit regarding if you are there for dinner vs. happy hour.

We went for lunch the service was prompt and standard fare. We had a waiter who nearly dropped a soup on the table but managed to save it!

Horrible service, Me and my boyfriend went here today during happy hour , waitress neglected us , didn t want to take our order. So we ended up leaving , the hostess saw that we were being neglected but didn t seem to care, it s like they wanted us to leave ... So we will not give our service to this restaurant anymore .. And it wasn t busy at all during the time that we came , happy hour had just begun . So it shouldn t had been a reason why our waitress avoided us ..

The Thai chicken wings and also Long island teas were great

I am never pleased with this place. Gave it a 2nd try and my soup came out cold, all they had to do was throw it in a microwave and I would have been happy but the chef threw it away and then realized they didn't have anymore of the entree that I had ordered so I had to order something else that took 40 mins to make. I didn't end up eating for an hour and 20 mins.

Food and atmosphere we're awesome. Servers were on there jobs.

Great food and nice staff. I'd be a regular here if it wasn't such a long drive.

The food was great no doubt! where the 3 stars come from is the lunch specials have nothing on them for people who eat plant based or vegan diets! And they don't allow any substitutions on the burgers for "Impossible" meat! and it's cheaper on the menu! Also the service was sloppy and we felt rushed when talking to our server, but they didn't rush to get our food out that's for sure! Need to work on being able to substitute so everyone can get a deal. I mean this is 2019 and there are more healthy eaters than ever!!! Ijs

Food is usually quite good, but pricey, and they tinker with the menu too much. I'm all for them trying new items, but my favorite menu items that I would come back for always seem to disappear.

I love Houlihan's so much! The stuffed chicken is to die for! I've never had anything but great food and atmosphere at Houlihan's! even during the pandemic when everything was locked down, they delivered me hot steaming crispy fresh food right to my door! Will always go back!!!

Happy hour mixed drinks were quite watered down at this location but the food was pretty good!

My friends and I went to the Houlihans in Lee's Summit for lunch, food was fresh and hot. I ordered the stuffed chicken, both my friends ordered the salmon all was very tasty. Amanda was my server, she was very friendly and helpful. Took very good care of us. Great service food and prices.

Brian was extremely rude I had a question and asked him was he sure of something, and he reminded me that he had been employed there for 5 years.... ummm ok what does that have to do with the tea in china??? He was a wacko!!

This is one of our favorite places to go to meet up with family. Nice atmosphere, a menu with something for everyone and a very pleasant staff.

The food was quite good. The noise level was higher than I find comfortable.

I typically only come for happy hour because their drinks are amazing and we absolutely love the bartender. With that being said, their food is NOT so good and can be extremely over priced for what you get. Its always a small portion, bland, and cold. We always eat somewhere else and then slide through for some drinks.

Tried the special chicken piccata with risotto. Chicken was not crispy or very hot and sauce was too generous and pretty much drowned the plate in butter and lemon juice. Chopped asparagus stems and capers were a nice addition. Risotto was pretty much just a regular rice presentation. Service was fine and the stuffed chicken my husband ordered was as great as ever. Should have stuck with the standard items.

Food isn't bad, terrible service especially from the bar.

Good service, blah food at least when I ordered a burger.. way over cooked when I asked for it to be cooked medium, it came to me well done And dry... Not anywhere close to being worth what they charged..

Went for happy hour with a friend and the drinks were just juice. It was a rip off. We used to love coming for happy hour but we won't be returning. The food is good but don't waist your money on the drinks.

We have been to Houlihans a couple of times since moving to the area last year and the food is absolutely amazing! We even remarked how we had spent a birthday dinner at Antons and wished we would have come here instead. We were a bit worried after hearing other locations closed down (we have never eaten at any other location) but the Lee's Summit location is always busy. We've had everything from the cauliflower appetizer to pot roast to filet mignon and have never been disappointed.

Good food and a lively crowd. Servers are friendly albeit not always the speediest.

Scallops were good only one asparagus spear and it was undercooked good thing I ordered a salad or I'd have stopped at mcd's on way home. Wife's chicken tenders terrible. Very overprice and lacking quality.wait staff is great.its sad what they have to work with.won't be back

I love this place and come here about 2-3 times a month. The last time I went about a week ago it had a weird vibe. I won't be back for a while

Great happy hour including all varieties of beverages and finger foods all at very inexpensive rates. Outstanding food and service. I asked if the chef could prepare a certain plate sauteed versus fried ( on menu ) and he did a great job. Have been there many times in past for lunch, dinner and happy hour and will certainly go back Outstanding!

We always have a good experience here. Food is great and service is great. My only issue is the booths. They're tiny. There's not much space between the seat and the table. My wife was feeding our baby and had to basically put her on the table to feed her.

Extremely disappointing! Got seated at a table and waited over 5 minutes and still no server so we moved to the bar. Asked the bartender 3 times for a water before finally getting one after 20 minutes. No supervisor ever came to the bar area or floor that I seen. I was looking! The food was only ok. Kinda bland. Unfortunately will not be returning after this experience. If this is what it is like during a slow Monday I dont want to know what it is like during a rush. :(

My wife and I visit pretty often we just haven't been in over a month and our last visit on Friday turned out to be terrible. We waited for over 45 min to get our food and when it finally came back it wasn't cooked to order so after we sent it back we had to wait over another 30-45 min again. When my family and I got ready to pay our ticket I asked for the manager he never came so I went up to him to as we were leaving to explain my experience he was very unprofessional and rude acted as he could care less about my concerns. In the past a manager normally would come by and apologize and make sure everything was corrected. I guess customer service isn't a priority anymore. I was very disappointed at how the service is now.

Hair in my food and some kind of little bug in the ice in my sister's drink

Excellent food, the scallops were the best. The spiralized salad was delicious. LOVE the desserts. Great service. Great discounts when you sign up for their e-mail list.

I have zero complaints about this place. We go here when my wife wants to go here. I just wouldn't ever choose it myself. No real reason. I appreciate reduced seating capacity.

Not too bad, Just what you would expect from a chain restaurant. Went there during happy hour. Once again, decent. Nothing too exciting.

Pretty overpriced for slightly up scale bar and grill. Perfect staff, great happy hour. Make sure if you order the long island iced tea that you request picture in a glass, you will thank me.

Expensive, but the stuffed chicken is really good. There is no happy hour in the dining area, just the bar, and this is probably the loudest, most unpleasant atmosphere for a restaurant. The patio isn't as bad.

Houlihans is definitely worth going. The prices are reasonable and the food is cooked to perfection. The waiter we had was overwhelmed because he was the only waiter. I will give it to him he did very awesome. There were a few angry customers but after they got there food and realized he was the only one the were okay. I the manager came out to apologize to me and my fiance for the trouble and offered to give us a discount we accepted but put it all back in for the waiter for the job he was doing by himself. Be courteous to your waiters.
