Love the hotel and the staff very friendly nd helpful. Right near tourist area and wasy to walk around . Rooms were nice and clean

Great hotel, friendly staff, heart of Old Montreal

Clean and comfortable and a short walk to shopping and attractions. Valet parking only. Lounge off the lobby was a welcome oasis after a long drive. Skipped breakfast as it is buffet only and a little pricey. There is a building being built next to it which was noisy starting at 7 AM, ruling out sleeping in. Wind whistles through window, but to be fair it was a very stormy night.

1) hotel lost my reservation, but they did fix it.
2) breakfast hours are very restrictive... 7 to 10. (It was full at 10am)
3) shower design is very cool looking, but poor in functionality. You can't turn on the water without getting wet. (Not good in winter when water is ice cold or if you just want to turn it on for your kids)
4) they have parking valet!
5) local night club is next door.... great spot for clubbing

My hotel room was infested with 100 s of strange flies . I asked the front desk to change my room and unfortunately they were all booked up . Because of the dirty conditions of the room I had to check out and find another place . The room was $270 per night and I booked it for 4 nights for my business trip . The hotel now has refused to acknowledge there was a problem even though they came and checked the room . They have refused to give me any type of refund or apology. I will never stay here and do not recommend anyone to stay here . You will get a better and cleaner place for the same price . I am extremely disappointed. Don t stay here at any cost .

Update : I have read the reply below from management. They clearly told me there is no refund when I called several times to the hotel. I was told because it is Expedia they can't give them or me a refund. They want to communicate about it , I have nothing to discuss. If you want to offer me something you can email it to me or give me money back. I am appalled by the suggestion that I left the window open all day. It was never open in my presence. I never once opened the window or knew it was possible. I am posting pictures and video , these flies did not come from outside but are from dirty ventilation or something inside the building.

If I could give a lower rating I would. We received snide remarks about booking through a 3rd party. We were give an unfinished room with an unpainted ceiling and the toilet was in a closet-like room separate from the washroom.

We found a toenail in the washroom and mucus on the wall. We were give a special suite which looked pretty nice. However, there was something sticky on the chair, the bathtub and shower were not clean and the pillows smelled like cigarettes.

We paid 300+ dollars for our worst hotel experience yet. The only saving grace was that Montreal is a great City and we didn t want to stay in the hotel too much anyway. But it s not worth the money, not at all!

Very negative experience at this hotel. The rooms are a very run down version of the hotel's depiction online. Dark, dingy. Walls the the hallways scratched and scuffed, furniture was chipped. Even the bath mat was torn! The had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Neither the safe nor the mini-fridge were working when I arrive and I was informed by the attendant (who was the only kind employee in the hotel) that if I wanted my drinks to be really cold, I should request ice. The worst part was the noise. They were holding holiday parties and despite being on the 4th floor, it sounded like I was standing outside a club. I informed the concierge who implied it was my problem and offered me earplugs. (It was actually so loud this served to muffle the noise.) I normally love boutique hotels but Hotel 10 is a bit of a nightmare.

Hotel 10 has the most friendly female staff ever they are super nice and helpful.

Room was very comfortable and the cleaning service was good

Very good, perfect if you look around. By cons our room was the 3rd and we hear the siren police at night.

Customer Service is Exceptional!

This is now my go to hotel when travelling to Montreal. My family & I went for a weekend getaway, and the staff took care of us royally! Met us at our car with the trolley, gave us restaurant suggestions and menus, valet our car whenever we needed, made sure our room was quiet as we were travelling with our infant and more!

So thankful to the staff for making our weekend unforgettable!

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Polite and attentive staff. Breakfast is ok but can be better, especially the coffee.

Great service and big size room. Nice and close to downtown, walking distance to Sainte-Catherine hart of shopping. Would stay here again when I in Montreal.

Amazing experience at Hotel 10.
-Rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. GREAT SHOWER.
-Staff were all EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. They made great suggestions for food and clubs in the area. Good customer service.
-Really good location. Tons of food options, and great nightlife. They even have a club connected to the hotel which you can get FREE ENTRY!

**Note, definitely ideal for young people. The hotel is very close to a university and the late night college food and clubs are great if you're into that scene.

10/10 would recommend. Hotel 10 made my trip go very smoothly, it was relaxing and easy and I had a great time.

Went with my husband for our first anniversary and at the beginning we were very apprehensive about the hotels because of all the reviews about it being very loud! As soon as we got there, the receptionist was very welcoming and once I'm studying French she tried to explain everything for me in a way I'd understand and get to practice my French! She did tell us about the club and asked if we were fine with a bedroom above it!! Once we were planning on going out I didn't see any problem on it, on Saturday night we ended up coming back to the hotel a bit earlier and the club was still open, however, the music wasn't as loud as some people make it seems and we did not have problems to sleep! Location is amazing, very close to everything by walk, the room was very modern and clean! On our last day we asked to leave our luggage at the hotel because our bus was just at 7PM, they had no problems with it and kept it till we came back to pick it up! Had an amazing experience and will definitely go back! :)

Very happy with our stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and courteous. Rooms were pleasant and comfortable. The attached Origins Cafe was great as well.

Amazing location if you are visiting Montreal! Walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. Also close to metro stations. The rooms were updated and nice. Very clean and the staff was helpful when needed. I would recommend staying here if you're in Montreal to be a tourist!

The bed was so comfortable, I could have fall asleep in it

Clean, comfortable room. Hot water is hard to come by, I had to let the shower run for about 15 minutes before it was like warm.

This hotel was a last minute reservation for our Formula 1 weekend and it turned out to be a great choice. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated and clean. The hotel offers a complimentary car to take you anywhere within a 5km radius. The room was nice and modern although the carpet was stained and we didn't have a great view. The hotel restaurant downstairs hosted a Williams Team VIP Party during the weekend. We didn't attend but it was nice to be immersed in the whole race culture and atmosphere even at the hotel. It's a good location for those who are visiting Montreal to explore the city.

The reception room is very well appointed and offers a very pleasant terrace.

Apart from the location of this hotel I would not recommend a stay here. Upon check in we were told that the room assigned to us was designated for late check out, meaning we would not get a room until 8pm! Because of this we were stuck on the same side of the hotel as the nightclub at street level-- something we were not aware of until we arrived. Obnoxious noise all night and even more obnoxious crowd of people milling around on the street at night. Average hotel room, nothing special.

After we received the hotel bill we were $100 more than what our online reservation had confirmed. Definitely overpriced for the quality received! I would have spent a few dollars extra to stay in a quiet hotel with FREE valet.

Hotel 10 was amazing! The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. They are proactive and thoughtful. Really top-notch service.

The lobby and public spaces are lovely. The illusion art in the hallways fun feature! My room was beautiful. Lots of sunlight. The bed was very comfortable. The bath products were lovely.



The price was very reasonable for the quality. I would love to stay here again.

It is very unfriendly to the female staff working at the front desk late on Saturday. And this female employee was very uncomfortable in communicating because she did not speak English well. I asked him if there was a manager because he was uncomfortable and frustrated. The manager said that he would come out around 2:00 and suddenly he said that the manager did not work on the weekend. Starting from parking. I paid $ 30 for a valet parking fee. I did not explain it properly and said that we paid $ 30. (I did not have a valet parking yet. I did not plan to do it.) I do not know what to say on Bookking.com, and I have not been able to confirm it, and I'm looking back on my cell phone (I arrived at the hotel after 1:00 am and had to go out again for a few hours) It's okay. I'm okay. Do not do it. Thank you. But then I paid 50 dollars for the receipt, so I told you later that you told me that you had to pay for the money. I told you again that you did not say anything about 50 bucks. And the guy who keeps parking valet keeps talking with them in French and he is scared and heck if he does not want us to be here many times in English, he shout out to leave the hotel with the baggage .. (do not refund the money and do not use the room) I arrived late and had a short time to sleep. I was standing at the front for an hour and a half more to fight with pride. I was so tired that I went up to the room.
There is no respect for the guests, no respect for the guests, travelers because they are just going to leave soon ... or Asian or racist.
I felt pretty sick. I traveled comfortably and spent $ 300. I slept for 4 hours.

A great place to stare into the abyss. The voices whisper in a different language though, weird.

Great service. Staying for one week for a work trip and it's been really nice. Good location as well, a lot of restaurants and attractions at a walking distance. Only downside is no free parking (valet service available for $30/night). All in all, a very nice experience and would definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel with many amenities such as bar club and restaurant. Right in the middle of all the St- Laurent street action.

Hotel 10 is overall a modern, flat/retro designed hotel. The staff is fluent in both French and English and seem very welcoming. The lobby also feels like home. In terms of aesthetics, I like really like the M C Escher inspired 10 on the wall beside the elevators on most floors. The rooms themselves are large and mostly new. The shampoo, body wash, conditioners etc are also great. Scenery outside is typical Montreal buildings. Beds are average. Wi-Fi is average and sometimes slow. Water in the showers are hard to adjust to the right temperature. (either too hot or too cold) The room also includes a large closet, two chairs, a coffee maker, a medium sized TV, an alarm clock and special lamps for reading. Parking lot is hard to access and the front entrance is by the street. Breakfast is overpriced. Overall, it was a great experience and well worth the four stars!

Awesome hotel. Super quiet. Excellent staff that go above and beyond to help you. Hands down the best shower we have ever experienced. The hotel it kept very clean and is in an excellent location if you want to walk around. We will go back for sure. Only downside is that they don't do breakfast in bed.

Lovely staff, great rooms and a great breakfast. If I had one complaint it would be the $7 charge for bottled water. Put the charge in with the room and then I wouldn t think you were so bad of you!

This place is amazing. Very stylish and chic. The breakfast is amazing. Would stay here again and again. Also the price is definitely right. Also it's close to a lot of stuff so you can pretty much walk anywhere.

We booked this hotel through an app. They really get you with the parking which is approximately $30 per night. When you re booking this hotel through apps they completely leave this information out. It s very inconvenient when you forget something in the car because you have to ask valet to bring it up for you every time. What is nice about this hotel is the lobby, It feels warm and inviting. The location is also prime, It s a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown where are you can do all your shopping. Although, other reviews had complaints about the club we found that it wasn t all that loud. We did however, feel that the room was very basic. It felt rather unfinished. I get that they are trying to go for a modern design but the concrete ceiling and black washroom tiles just made the place look cold and dated. You can see there was still some hair left in the shower that wasn t cleaned properly.

Room is nice, but small. Very clean and seems high end. Vallet parking $30 per day under the hotel. Bar options and outdoor patios are very nice. Got room on first floor and it is VERY noisy at night. The windows don't insulate from street or pedestrian sounds at all. Did not get a good night's sleep, not sure bang for buck is what I've gotten used to at alternatives. Location is good though, close to many sights in the city.

Really cute hotel, and amazing service! My ring slipped into the sink and when I asked the concierge if there is anything they could do,a manager and a maintenance guy were in our room within 5 minutes, unscrewed the pipe and recovered the ring. Thank you so much for going the extra step for me.

I was visiting a friend for a few hours and the place seemed really nice. Great location, great condition, nice rooms and comfortable atmosphere.

Had a corporate event here all day. Very good service overall. Food and drinks are excellent. Choice of vegan or regular food offered. Scenery is wonderful. Wold recommend for any event.

I can't say enough about this hotel. Clean, classy, amazing courteous service and great food. Each time I have stayed, there has either been a wedding or birthday celebration and I leave each time knowing exactly why - it's a stunner - The staff particularly have made my stay amazing each time - with quick check - ins, extended check-outs when needed, support when I am traveling with two small children for a taxi service and directions to local eateries. I even left my charger home at one point and they charged my phone for me in the office and led me to a local place to buy a new one! Amazing staff. Umbrellas in the room for that surprise weather change, an upgrade once when I'd checked in very late for that extra bit of comfort I needed and a place to keep my bags after checking out but before my flight/departure. I can't say enough about this very chic and trendy central to everything hotel. I love Montreal but love staying at Hotel 10 every time I go!!!

Hotel 10 is the perfect place to stay in Montreal. Location is 3 blocks from 2 different STM stops and a short walk to all the great food down Ste Laurent. The hotel itself is a boutique spot with modern furniture and art and awesome exposed concrete ceilings giving a cool warehouse feel.
It also has a car service that will take you anywhere within a 5km radius. Just make sure to call ahead to ensure the car is available!

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to a lot of things. Staff were also quite friendly. The room itself though was nothing too spectacular. Though clean, the beds weren't overly comfortable, and little things seemed off or out of place.

Stayed for one night in mid August. Room was big but the finishes were all damaged. Like how IKEA furniture gets. Shower was big but the head sucked and the soap holder was flimsy. No shampoo was given. Temperature control in room was really easy and worked well. Location was decent, close enough for a good walk to old Montreal though a club was on one side of the building and construction on the other. We chose club. Even during pandemic it was a little noisy. I thought the place was overpriced. But it worked.

Good hotel with a great central location near shopping, a museum, and the symphony.

There is no way that this hotel is worth the money. The priority here is on the bar and the hotel is an absolute afterthought, in my opinion. The music percolates through the whole hotel until 3am every night. If you are in Montreal for any other reason but binge drinking, stay somewhere else.

Comforter was absolutely disgusting in our room, yellow colour and what looked to be blood stains. One of our towels had a hole in it.

Very helpful staff, very clean and well kept establishment. Beds are incredibly comfortable and showers can maintain one smooth temperature which seems to be a rare feat for Montreal.

Loud fight in the hall outside my room door on the 4th floor at 4am was not quickly addressed by staff and went on for an hour. Screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs. Front desk would not answer the phone during this time. Was not offered a discount for being kept up all night when I brought my concerns to the staff. Would never stay here again. F-

10 months ago I gave this hotel a good review. After this stay I can no longer recommend this hotel. They cater to college students staying here in groups. They all party, drink, brawl, and yell in the halls at all hours. Waking us up every morning at 4:30. For a nonsmoking hotel, we smelled college dirt weed every night as we settled in for the evening. The management will continue to make the people they want to stay here comfortable, and that is apparently not stable working adults.

Service was great, staff are attentive and nice. For the price I was happy with the room. Large and clean. Bathrooms could use a renovation though, a bit old and dingy. Location is good. I would stay there again if I m only staying for one night but if I have to stay longer I might chose a different location. I m very specific about bathroom and shower and I would want to use a cleaner bathroom.

It's a very solid hotel in downtown Montreal. Clean and modern. King bed room with a stand up shower. Room had a clever design with respect to the bathroom in that the door to the bathroom swung to close it off and make it appear larger. Breakfast was not included, but the hotel breakfast is buffet style.

Ran out of hot water on Nye...just ridiculous. Staff seems clueless.

Cool vibe hotel. In the heart of St-Laurent. Every year they have the annual Blue Lit Festival in May. Authors from around the world congregate for a special weekend.

Great room, spacious. Me and my girlfriend attended a job party and we had a good discount. There was a great table service and the employees were professionals. 10/10

I'm a regular at Hotel 10, and the experience there is always smooth and pleasant. Clean and modern rooms, great breakfast, good location in proximity to the Plateau.

The services at the hotel are top notch from the ladies at the front desk to the valet service. Would definitely recommend this Hotel. The room was big and spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Stayed dec 9 to dec 10

PROS:
Everything was amazing, bathtub, shower bed and I'm a big fan of the modern decor.
I rented the deluxe king size bed room for one night only and was considering staying another night.

CONS:
The room was cold, and the only thing you could do was put the fan on low or high and when we tried turning up the heat it would go back to the initial way it was at.

If you expect a quiet hotel, this isn't for you because of the nightclub downstairs that goes on until 3AM. This wasn't a problem for me because I was out all night until 4AM that night.

So I went to sleep with my boyfriend around 4AM which is the same time we started to hear strange noises coming from the other room. My boyfriend asked me if I heard anything and I said yea but it's probably the people from the club going back to their room. It sounded like loud banging through the walls. At 6AM Iis when the horror show began. A woman was outside our door in the hallway SCREAMING TO DEATH for someone to help her and that she couldn't breathe... I WAS COMPLETELY in shock and couldn't move because of how creepy it was and I was thinking that it could be a trap to mug people so I called the customer service downstairs literally whispering in the phone because I was scared.. and they just said "we know." And hung up.The lady continued shouting "someone please help" as she was crying. We then heard a dispatch call outside our door and then woman saying that a man escaped.. which was VERY unassuring. The rest of the night was ruined and despite my two hours of sleep I couldn't close my eyes so by 8AM we packed our things to go. When downstairs to check out we mentioned the night and they only said said a woman had a problem and went back to her room. I wish I had at least a lil more explanation but after this experience I will not be going to this hotel. I do understand that it wasn't completely their fault for what happened but that was soo creepy.

Stayed here on my weekend trip to Montreal. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The room was also very spacious and the bathroom / shower were great. The parking for $30/night was a little pricey but there was not much around so we didn't really have a choice. The hotel is also very centrally located.

Central hotel. The rooms are updated. There is a very good chef that meets you st breakfast. Very friendly !

Very disrespectful staff called and complained about the room staff did nothing found bedbugs and they tried telling us it was nothing would not recommend to stay here unless you are doing a jail term
