Very noisy until about 2am on the weekend nights, bring earplugs. Weird light switches don't illuminate main room so you need to turn on the bathroom/alcove lights to see the bedroom part.

Nice bed. Good linens.

Wimpy shower head for a four star.

Nice desk but poor chair, very strange. I think my cleaning lady was wearing strong perfume. Strange toilet in what must have been a closet. Nice tv. Nice design. Buffet is too expensive, consider Allo Mon Coco around the corner.

Very close to the nightlife.

This hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. My boyfriend and I went here for our three year anniversary and the woman at the front desk upgraded our suite to an executive suite. They truly care about your stay. I highly recommend.

Stayed there only 1 night but I quite enjoyed it. The room was clean, the reception was quiet and relaxing, the hallways smelled nice (haha) and you can find art scattered around the hotel!

Pretty nice 1-night stay

Very friendly and helpful staff including the housekeeping workers who did an excellent job cleaning the room. Also, it's a great area for nightlife.

The only drawback is the valet parking is a little expensive and you have to purchase the option for free breakfast. The actually price of the stay is very reasonable so it probably balances out.

At more than 250$ per night ! I would have hope that its possible to sleep at this stupid hotel ! There is a disco at the level floor... and i got a room at the first floor... the music go on and on untill 3 am ... ! Even at the second floor... it`s difficult to sleep ! I guess thats why they give us ears plug next to the bed ! Also the milk in the mini bar was expired... there was no soap, shampoo... etc etc..in my room... I am very very dissapointed about this hotel...what a bad place, bad concept....even the access to the hotel is just that bad !

Well Stay Away..!!!!!!

The accommodations are quite comfortable and stylish, much more so than most chain hotels. The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable. I love the breakfast- wide variety of options: meats, cheese, quiche, fruit, vegetables, pastry, yogurt, cereal, etc. This is the only place I'd want to stay in Montreal.

Good stay at this hotel with a last-minute minute booking. Hotel is nice and clean, staff are very helpful. There was a nightclub by our room and we had some worries about that. The noise died down quickly though.

A boutique hotel with actual character! From the public spaces (e.g lobby, patio) to the guest rooms - it's clear that hotel management has been thoughtful about designing modern, comfortable, yet interesting spaces. The guest rooms are spacious and clean; beds are superbly comfortable.

There's a nightclub on the lower level of the hotel, so noise levels may vary depending on the location of your room.

The hotel breakfast is phenomenal and has something for everybody - highly recommend if your party doesn't feel like venturing out.

We were there for a wedding. The ceremony was outside and the setup is incredible. The place look so amazing with old vintage images on the walls. The staff at the bar was ok, but cool. The place was clean and we really enjoy the evening.

This is by far one of the worst worst hotels I have ever stayed at.

1. They have horrible house keeping service, the house keeping came into our room and made the bed leaving cups around the bed they did not tidy the room whatsoever. Ive uploaded a picture of what "hotel 10" house keeping looks like..... complete joke.

2. When we made a complaint to management they decided to argue back with us and completely disregard the pictures we were showing them. They were so rude and just wanted to argue with us.

3. We had the car in valet all weekend then when they brought out our car near the end of the trip they had scratched my bumper. We called valet and they continued to argue with us in which he hung up on us. When then called back to speak to the head manager she also was abruptly rude and did not want to help us out whatsoever.

Patrick who works as a "manager" at the hotel decided to attack us over the phone yelling and saying that we are at fault then hung up on us. I will most definitely be contacting head office as the is the worst worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. DO NOT STAY HERE WHATSOEVER AS YOU WILL REGRET BOOKING IT !!!!!!

Rooms very nice. Staff professional. Windows overlooking the terrace do not cut sound enough. Ask for room facing street.

Edit: Turns out the window was "closed" but not closed. Double check the latches on your windows. This helps a lot, but if there's an event on the terrace, you'll still hear it.

I have been to Montreal many times, but never stay...

I have been to Montreal many times, but never stayed at Hotel 10. I usually get a place by the airport for the airport commute, but this is the first time I was driving from Boston to Montreal. I proposed to my girlfriend the week before and we decided on a last minute trip as a way to celebrate. I litterally booked hotel 10 the night before we were planning on driving and here are the pros and cons
Pros:
1- Location, location, location. In my opinion, this hotel is located perfectly between old port and all that St Laurent street has to offer. We treated this as hub, from which everything was walking distance. We walked to old port in about 15 mins, through China Town taking in all the beauty of Montreal. Even getting to McGill or Mount Royal was a breeze and took us about 7-9 mins in an Uber.
2 - The King sized beds are sooo comfy. I travel a lot for work and have stayed in many hotels, however the beds in hotel 10 are some of the comfiest I have ever slept on in a hotel.
3 - The friendly and accommodating staff. We booked a trip very last minute, and hadn't read on the website that checkin time was after 4 PM. We arrived early and the staff was able to accommodate us at 1 PM. The hotel was not liable in any sense to accommodate us, but they had a room cleaned, just so we could check in early.
4 - The hotel and rooms smell amazing. As soon as you walk in, there is a fresh smell of something spectacular. We tried getting the staff to tell us what they were using, but they weren't able to tell us, which we were very sad about.
Cons:
Although we had a great stay, we did find quite a few annoying things.
1 - although the hotel seems like it's brand new, it didn't seem like a lot of the electronics in the room worked. Although the electronics weren't a big deal, since we weren't in the room for very long, the biggest thing for us was the locker in the roomwas not functional at all. We had to carry our passports and cash everywhere we went.
2 - maybe this is a construction of the hotel or maybe something else, but our room on the 4th floor was quite noisy. We could hear a faint noise of music, but it seemed to subside by 12. We aren't sure as we passed out by 12.
3 - there is no self parking. Although there is valet parking, but at $30 cdn plus tax, it's kinda expensive per night.

If anyone from the hotel reads this, please contact us. We would really like to know what the hotel uses to make everything smell amazing.

The hotel was great. Staff were friendly and the room had more than enough space. There were some signs of wear and tear but otherwise it was in great shape. My only critique was there was a very loud Christmas party that went well into the early morning. I could hear the music anywhere I went in the hotel and the guests attending were very noisy in the halls. Otherwise a pleasant stay!

A newer hotel built in 2017. The room is big and has a luxurious feel. It has a safe, fridge, no free water so bring your own. A Nespresso machine was a bonus. The bed is confortable and the sheets are clean. The washroom is spacious and modern with toiletteries.

The check in was quick, the front desk staffs are friendly and efficient. The valet parking was quick with your car driven with attention and skills.

It's located at the corner of St. Laurent & Sherbrooke, fifteen minutes walk to downtown and other attractions. A gas station is across the street and a delicious Greek diner on the other side with delicious wraps and roast chicken dishes.

This hotel did not disappoint and I will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Breakfast buffet is good, I could do with more fruit. The busses are very close, Metro a few minutes walk away. I would return.

Wouldn t call this place a 4 stars. We came here two years ago (where we met) and came back to celebrate our anniversary. It s really gone downhill since. No arrangements were made by the hotel staff to help us celebrate despite calling and asking. Tv was not working, no soap was provided in the bathroom, broken closet door, piss splash on the sides of the toilet room walls, and abnormally uncomfortable beds. Booked the Fairmont for the next night at a cheaper rate.

Just spent a long weekend at the Hotel 10. Wasn t anything special, was actually pretty disappointed. For one, the room needed work, there were massive stains on the carpet and the shelf in the bathroom was coming off the hinges. It really ruined the ambiance. The air conditioning also stopped working and the room was warm, it kept saying call for service . Who wants to deal with that while on a 4 day getaway? Being across the street from a gas station also gets very loud at night. Not the most enjoyable stay. Staff was friendly however I would not go back.

Cool alternative to big chains in a great walkable location. Funky decor, cool vibe. We a great deal with a AAA / CAA discount that included breakfast and parking. Denise, who runs the Resto had great customer service, and amazing breakfast buffet, and made us feel right at home.

Great location near the Places des Arts, Blvd St Laurent... Walking distance to anywhere downtown if you're a walker and, if not, they have a service to take you to a downtown destination free. Had breakfast and parking thrown in as a CAA member. Very happy with choice.

Value for money right here. Nice reception, chic lobby and nice rooms. You have booked 4 stars in North America, with this expectation you should also go into the room. Comfortable bed, good shower, large TV. Fits. The breakfast was very delicious, the cheese selection in the evening at the bar also. Nice little selection of various beers. I can only recommend.
