Good clean place. They could update the magnetic card infrastructure and add usb plugs in the rooms. That would make it even more attractive.

Clean rooms, good location. Lots of construction during my stay, but should be fixed soon.

The hotel is in a great location for getting to the Metro, restaurants, bars and other points of interest. The valet parking is very confusing with very little area to park for the check-in-process. The front desk staff could have been a bit more friendly. When we asked about a complimentary continental breakfast, we were told that the hotel does NOT offer a complimentary breakfast. This is not true because others have stated on Trip Advisor that they received a free breakfast. If it was not included at the price we paid, that should have been stated - not just that it is never offered. The room was fairly clean. We found a used bar of soap on the bathroom floor with a hair on it. So obviously the staff did not check the floor of the bathroom before leaving.
The concierge and valet staff were exceptional - very helpful with giving directions, maps and helping us to get a cab. I would give them five stars but not the front desk staff.

Great location in downtown. Good value for money. Spacious and comfortable room.

1. As a rule, the beds in 4 star hotels are 1.80m and not 1.60m
2nd could be renovated
Negative for breakfast:
no breakfast and if then $ 17 ... and then a smaller selection than in a 2 star hotel .... except for the yogurt, you can forget that and save the money

NO STAR. Please do not go to this tribble hotel. They are worst staff in the world. They don t care about anything exept money. Two weeks ago, we booked 2 room for me and my husband and one room for my mother and father. One weeks before travel to montral , my mother got sick and we cancelled our trip to Montreal. i called the hotel 100 times and told them the whole story but didn t care and they told me they won t cancell the hotel. Omg, i paid them 500$ for two rooms , how they can not see the others people emergency situations and don t care about anything except money. Even, I told them only charge me a penalty for 100$ and please give me the rest of money which you charged me but they told me No No No No. , they don t care anything except money. WHAT A SHAME.

There was a great deal of city noise very early in the morning and the valet staff was rather rude. The room was small compared to other accommodations at similar prices.

Best hotel staff ever, took care of our group and made fantastic close suggestions for food and entertainment without asking, my hotel when in MTL 100%

Lovely place, but I'd cut back on the French people

I didn't find this hotel worth the price at all. There were electrical chords hanging out from our bathroom counter and our room was very simple. There was a some sort of hot water tank or something making racket for about 6 hours during the night, no water or anything provided in the rooms just very straight forward. Also the damage deposit for the room was 390.00$ witch was more then any place I've ever stayed, I am only young and have a credit card with a modest limit, this was a lot for a one night stay. I wished I would have paid the extra 50$ for the bigger bed, water and free breakfast at the Hampton inn and suits offers. Huge regret.

Great place to day in the Fashion district of Montreal. Clean, quiet hotel, the staff are great and helpful. Breakfast (we did the buffet) was very tasty with good selection.

Great hotel centrally located in Montreal for short breaks. Had a big room for three nights with two queen size beds without breakfast. Great value for money and also a small breakfast in the fast food restaurant highly recommended. Overall for a short stay to get to know the city highly recommended. Good location to Mont Royal and Metro 150 meters.

Extremely disappointing experience. The hotel is in a good location however it was ruined by the fact that the hotel was old. But what sealed the deal was the construction which was extremely noisy and started at 7:30 am on a Sunday. On top of that. The mattress was not comfortable, the clock in the room was wrong, there was no conditioner or shower gel, and the shampoo bottle was tiny and stiff, it was hard to get any shampoo out of the bottle. The heater system was either too hot or too cold. And the only window to the outside was all fogged up, even before showering. The valet parking guys where very helpful though.

Great place for night out nice view nice food and great service

My husband and I have been coming the the Best Western Place Ville-Marie 2 to 3 times a year since 2014 (when our oldest started university at McGill). We have always found the staff to be incredibly professional and helpful with a sincere desire to make our stay comfortable. When we found ourselves on a noisy floor one time, they made every effort to change our room to a floor where there was no hockey team visiting :). A member of their staff came to our room promptly when we needed towels for a third person. The food in the restaurant is surprisingly good Middle Eastern cuisine! We also love the location - close to McGill, downtown, and our favourite hot yoga place: Enso Yoga. Mike, the Valet, once got us THE BEST tickets to a Habs versus Leafs game (7th row, center ice). It was amazing! All their staff have consistently worked hard to be efficient and to make our stay enjoyable. We have one more kid left at McGill and we plan to stay here whenever we visit Montreal, in the coming year, and beyond.

Had a wonderful time in the heart of Montreal. The Best Western offers the best rates for the comfort, class, and cleanliness of the hotel. Enjoy your stay, I did! It's my second time there and I wil be back.

I have been a satisfied Best Western customer for many years, but no longer. I just called to cancel my reservation more than 30 days in advance and I was told that I could not. I was told the reason was due to my agreeing to pay in advance for the reservation. There is nothing I can do now that they have my money. They are thieves. Stay away. They won't be fooling me again. Don't let them fool you.

The stay was not that great, there was a lot of noise and the walls are super thing so you can hear every door slam and conversation in the room next door. Other than that the room was clean.

The location was well suited for our purpose. Check-in and out were stress free. The suite was very clean and spacious with ample bedding. We felt safe in that environment. We would definitely return.

Hotel with excellent location, comfortable fit and courteous service. Located in the region close to several restaurants, train station, subway, and the RESO, underground city of Montreal. Great value for money !!!

Rooms were fairly sized and clean. the location of the hotel is great right close to downtown montreal.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, and nicely furnished rooms. Continental breakfast was decent, didn't have a chance to dine in the restaurant but it was nice having a coffee shop attached to the hotel. Location was fantastic!

Very friendly staff, great service. Had a great stay overall but the old pipes running past the room made a strange gurgling sound all the time which made it difficult to sleep. No complementary breakfast either.

Amazing place and great service. Shout out to Peter at the evening desk who made our stay amazing. Rooms are super up to date and clean, staff are warm and friendly. Our room despite being next to the elevator, was super quiet. No issues at all. Located at a bus and subway line, car is not really needed. Walking distance to many places. Once again, thank you Peter for making our visit one to remember!

Rooms are large and the location is perfect as it is right near McGill, subway and within walking distance of many attractions. However, the rooms are dank, outdated and could do with renovations to make them feel cleaner and more inviting.

Exellent position near downtown. Many restaurant aviable nearby. Nice rooms.

When we arrived in the room we discovered the toilet was clogged. Also, they only had towels for 1 person. The next day we were gone from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM and when we came back to the room the bed was not made and bathroom towels were still on the floor. When I went downstairs to talk to the front desk, they just made excuses. They offered to move us but then I would have to re-pack my clothing and personal items. We just wanted to lay down in a fresh made bed. They offered to have the room made up then but this would have us leave the room again, which is not what we wanted. They should have offered us a coffee or maybe even breakfast, but nothing! In all my years of travelling, I have never come back to my room and found it in this manner. Use at your own risk!

The hotel is in great location, close by all kinds of stores, university and attractions (on a street leading to the panorama of mount royal). Great service from the whole staff, including recommendations and booking a hair salon. (administrative booking issues due to group visit have, though, caused a bit of a mess at the reception which could have been avoided). Rooms are great, however no view. Loby is also great.
At the loby there is a coffee house and restaurant serving a fair breakfast buffet.
There is a luggage keeping room and bathroom at the loby.
Rooms can be interconnected by a door.

Hotel well but returned to the bar the waiter did not know how to make a bloody ... I had to tell him to put tabasco and the other unpronounceable sauce. Oh and just english service.

Not really attractive. Perhaps my judgment was influenced by working in an environment.

Nice rooms we stayed in junior suites. Ours had a mini kitchen. Nice staff, two tvs in each suite, beds were comfy

Stayed there for one night with 11 people; we shared three rooms altogether. Had to find parking separately since we drove a 12-seat van, but the parking spot wasn t far, and it only costed $7 for 24-hours. Staff was highly professional, and rooms were very clean upon our arrival. Location is great to explore the city. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Good for short stay. Close to public transportation. Close to many restaurants and the downtown nightlife. Rooms are old and small, TVs and remotes are out of date. Had bad internet access on the 10th floor. Have stayed on another floor in the past and did not have issues with internet. Would stay again for price during low season, during high season it is overpriced for what it offers.

Has the best times already behind, confusing, uncomfortable lobby, very large rooms with good beds, otherwise average. The breakfast for travel companies in a large room with buffet, decent selection, old toasters and unfriendly service. Location is very good central!

Nice hotel in city center with lots of shops and restaurants. The staff is gd too . Just one thing .... don't add breakfast to ur room cuz it's not gd. And Montreal is under construction. All the streets and places is being constructed right now.

Central location, but some drawbacks to the feel-good note

Excellent location and attentive staff.
The Hotel does not offer option to use the air conditioning in any season of the year, offering alternatively the opening of the room window for cooling the environment.
Excessive administrative austerity with small items, such as the lack of repositioning of bath soaps.
You could get inspiration from the Best Western in Ottawa.
