Hotel n amenities good, staff courteous.only thing is the food is costly but market close by

A descent hotel, which is very well located near Connaught Place. Rooms are neat and tidy. The service of the hotel was appropriate, but at some times personnel forget to look something up or call me back. Still, I would recommend this hotel for everyone who needs a comfortable stay at an affordable price.

With multiple conference and meeting places open across Delhi, this remains a niche place which is more frequented by repeat visitors.

The service is very late ( very late means very late),came just for dinner and ended up for around 2.5 hours.
There is an unpleasant smell in the corridors.(smells like )
Half of the lifts aren't working and those which are working are also not properly maintained (it makes creepy sounds)
The price of the food is not worth the quantity.

We ve had a really good stay at the Metropolitan.
The hotel rooms are a little outdated and it is not a cheap hotel for India, but the service and location are great. Amrith Singh at the reception did an excellent customer service and was very helpful. Thank you.

First thing is location. The location of this hotel is supreme. Just minutes away from CP, this is a full service hotel. It is your basic five star hotel. Not very opulent, but has everything that is required. Japanese restaurant is excellent. Staff is helpful. IN summary, it has everything that you require in business stay.

Not a 5 star hotel. They did not maintain it.staff is very rude .they will not go till we give them money and that too without doing any work.i am totally irritated with the staff.
1) As we entered the room we were greeted by dirty smell like that of urin
2)the toilet is congested and they did not cover the drainage so it was stinking and it was clogged brown mess yuck
3)if you order food from outside then you have to go all the way out of hotel gate to receive it as they dont allow outside food and staff wont even help by taking the food from them delivery to our room.infact staff is so rude I requested to them saying my infant is sleeping so cant go out can you please bring it to me and they flatly said NO without even sorry.
4)to order from in house restaurant I asked them if the food is Halal and they failed to say if its halal or not .again when I asked if food is halal they said I should go down and check my self.really they made it so tough to stay there as my husband was busy in meeting and I had a infant who was not feeling well.
5)lot of noise in the room.some elevator work was going on so the drilling noise was there continuously from 8 am to 7pm.it was so irritating.
6)even if we put dont disturb housekeeping staff will come and know every now and then asking should we clean the room and after I say no they will not just leave they will wait there expecting to get money.
Such a horrible hotel it might become good if all the staff there are replaced.

Price of 1 tea is 950 rs and the TV sound of all rooms are very dual very poor service.

Very good and peaceful place to live, hotel is located at center of the city & reachable to all nice famus places very easily.

The hotel and staff are amazing, but very disappointed with the spa.
First off, it wasn't worth the price we paid for, we had a couples massage. My therapist was good at what she does, but the flip flops they have as uniform needs to be changed, the constants flapping of flip flops while they massaged and moved around was very distracting and annoying(U go to spa to relax not to listen to flip flops flapping constantly).
2nd the room was too cold, too bright and the music wasn't relaxing at all, it was fast beat and stopped after an hour, we had a 3 hour massage session!
3rd my husband's therapist had long nails and digged her nails throughout the massage, sneezed all over him, kept munching and was very rough.
4rd the spa really needs a hot cabby, to put hot wet towels for facial, so the therapist don't go to the tap and run the tap water continuously to change the towels, as if it wasn't annoying enough to listen to flip flops flapping.. The constant run to wash the towels and the sound of tap water wasnt nice.
5th the products needs to be pre prepared and in containers that doesn't need a cap, and definitely doesn't need rose water sprayer(u can put rose water in a bowl, put the cotton in to do what u need). On top of everything, my husband's therapist kept knocking everything around,the sound of the products being opened and closed, the constant knocking around of products and also the constant banging of the shelfs were very annoying...
After paying almost 20000 for 3 hours relaxing massage, all we got was flip flops flapping, the water taps running continuously, products being knocked over constantly , cold room, upbeat music for an hours and no music for 2 hours.
Very disappointing!!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good service, excellent upkeep. Food is a bit expensive though, but tons of places in Connaught Place to explore.

Nice place. Very near to New Delhi Railway Station. Good spacious rooms. Very helpful staff as well. Very good in house restaurants. We had dinner at their Japanese restaurant Sakura. Also have a 24 HR restaurant Zing. Couldn't visit the spa as we stayed overnight only. The reception guy was so kind. He arranged for a packed breakfast for all 4 of us at 5am in the morning. Rooms were nice and clean. Only negative points. The cab they arranged tried to fleece us. And they were not strict about enforcing no smoking in non smoking areas.

The ambience was good.
Pools side view is also quite good.

A good place to stay comfortably in Delhi, the Buffet breakfast very good, the rooms excellent. We would go again!

Food is a bit bland for Indian taste....everything else like location,cleanliness,hospiatlity is perfect.

A very beautiful property in the heart of the city near Connaught place and located on the road that connects gol market to the main entrance of Gurudwara bangla sahab. The pool is at a fantastic place visible from the main lobby. The food at the restaurants was fabulous.
The rooms were nest and clean with all the basic amenities that you can think of. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel , location is very convenient specially if someone wants to be in Gurudwara. Convience stores are quite close .staff is quite helpful and pleasant, breakfast is good specially masala chai which i relished and the guys served it with a smiling face.

Expensive..Facilities doesn't justify the prices anywhere near..Food is good..Staff is very polite and helpful..Rooms are small..Amenities and cleanliness is given quite attention..Overall expensive but satisfactory...

Although the property is supposed to be a 5 star one, there are stars missing. Visibility from road when you drive is poor. Restrooms stink, and staff is not so efficient. I have been to this place for so many meetings and conferences, and they have multiple conferences going on a floor, annoyingly, there is sound leak from adjoining meeting rooms, and the hotel doesn t seem to bother about it.

Location is good. Hotel Interior looks old. Food and other services are very good.

Great location. Easy access to Delhi metro Shivaji station. Arrived from Delhi airport T3 in under 30 minutes.

The hotel is perfectly located near cp and is close to public transportation. The room services and suite room quality was great too.

We have hosted an event at The Metropolitin Hotel Delhi in the month of November 2019. The location of this hotel doesn t need any appreciation or explanations. The hotel is centrally located and can be accessed easily by Delhi Metro. Their food and services are at par with any of the other five star hotels in this area. Their staff was very helpful, cooperative and courteous. They have organized everything very professionally and as per the plan. The chef, their food and beverage manager and other staffs had done a great job. Everything went well and the event was successful. All our clients were satisfied with the food, arrangements, services and with the hospitality. Thanks to the team of The Metropolitan Hotel Delhi from HECT India for making the event successful. Highly recommended hotel for events and conference of medium size.

Beautiful hotel located in Conaugth Place, very close to bazaars, places to eat and tour. It is warm and very pleasant. Very good attention. Rich and varied breakfast. It has spa and pool. Very good to spend the stay in Delhi.

A well managed hotel with well educated staff. I am here to attend conference on dental emergencies on The Met. A unique scattered space.food was very good and lots of options.

Went for a conference on first floor. Was seated on back of hall and could see old wood panels having cracks and peeling paint. Also after conference, hotel staff stopped the tea and coffee which was complimentary by group giving conference. But staff was adamant in not giving even the machine and cutlery was right in front of us. After the conference hotel even stopped both lift at ground level and forced everyone to use stairs. May be this hotel is good for check in guests and indifferent to guests like us who visit just for few hours. I have never seen like this in any other hotel. Looked cheap to me the way they handled us.

Stayed there for a night. Good hotel. Well maintained and safe during the pandemic situation. Recommend for families...

It was a decent-good hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained and the check-in staff was friendly. What made me taken aback was that they took off the mini bar from our room when we refused to provide a card for pre-authorization. We told them that we would make the payment upon consumption which is what we have done at all other major hotels we have visited. Breakfast spread wasn't too great and items were ordinary.

Hotel was great, the food was outstanding at chutney. Breakfast was great too, room service food was okay, totally not worth the price.

The room itself was great, some channels were not available and apparently service needed to be recharged.

The listing on Expedia said rooms had bath tubs, they did not. Level 7 has an office/lounge area with a printer. When the paper ran out they took their sweet time to refill.

So I had to use the office center. Office center was not great. The people managing that seem totally incompetent at giving guests advice on how to browse and get things done from a public computer in a secure manner. My recommendation on informing guests was swiftly ignored. When attempting to get my printouts, I noticed there were hundreds of saved IDs/passports etc. From unwitting guests. Google accounts that were saved, and not cleaned up. Not great given issues with security and identity theft we see nowadays. On top of that they charged me 200 bucks for 4 printouts, even though I told them the printer paper had run out. Would avoid using if I could going forward.

Good 5 star hotel with excellent staff. My room was clean and spacious. There was free internet for up to 1 MBps speeds. The breakfast buffet had all kinds of options from Indian, Western and Japanese.

The hotel provided late check-out up to 2pm as well as baggage services if you have a late flight.

This place was 45 minutes from the airport and Uber was available to major tourists are in under 15 minutes.

There were also a bar, Indian restaurant and Japanese restaurant as well. The Indian restaurant was okay but at a premium cost compared to other local foods. Since there were protests in the area at the time, my options were limited.

The Metropolitan Hotel is a 5 star hotel located in the heart of the city, bang on opposite to the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Connaught Place. In compliance to the rating, the hotel offers full service of a 5- star establishment, be it in the area spread of the hotel, the staff courtesy or the services offered.
It is clean, well lit and relatively less priced than the other 5-star hotels in the vicinity.
The only issue I felt was the room size, which could have been bigger, as the room seemed a little cramped.
If booked through the right site, the hotel offers complimentary breakfast buffet, which is at par with the other 5-star establishments and offers a variety of dishes of various cuisines.
All in all, this hotel is a good stay making a decent hole in your pocket (just kidding), providing the best of services.
