Had lunch at the restaurant. The food was amazing and the place itself is beautiful. We are upstairs, which is very bright due to the huge windows. The downstairs basement seating area is huge and feels a little clubby, was very cool!

Breathtaking floor to ceiling doors to your own courtyard in NYC!!!! I ve stayed everywhere and always a suite and usually on the upper east side. I am now converted to a SoHo woman. The easy openness, the comfortable and practical furniture. From the time I pulled up someone was always there to help and I just asked about a bigger room just in case a cancellation or something and they did not say no, they said give me one second, then poof!!! Amazing, Spectacular, Beautiful. A perfect getaway without the stuffiness. Now we will always come back to take a break and sit in the courtyard! Ben and Kern are the best!!! Theresa Farah

The service was terrible. Took 15 minutes to even get a menu. Sean, the waiter barely spoke to us. We ended up giving the busser a cash tip because our waiter didn't deserve a good tip and we didn't want the busser to suffer for server's pretentious attitude. The place was way too stuffy for the generic good they serve. We felt like an inconvience to Sean it maybe he felt our money wasn't green enough because every one of his other tables were well tended to.

Food was good but but subpar given the Jean Georges name and cost associated with it. Service was good, although we were served room temperature water, which wouldn't be as annoying if the restaurant itself wasn't so warm inside (lunchtime during August....)

This hotel s very famous in the city for having super guests like Julia Roberts.
I know very well this place since I used to come there for the last 10 years.
The location is fantastic, the rooms are very high-quality but the facilities are close to 0: you get nothing but your room and the lounge area and the restaurant (which is really low quality and very expensive).
Also the staff is only good at reception and the doormen. The other staff is really bad with little consideration for the customers...

Best in NYC. I understand why Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs lived in this hotel for several years... it's an oasis with 5 star service. You couldn't ask for better rooms, the location is unbeatable, and having the Mercer Kitchen as your source for food... come on. Granted it might not be as hip as it used to be, but the lobby is still a great place to be.

I spent one night here after my daughter's wedding at City Hall. It was lovely, clean, and Randy and Stephanie made me feel right at home. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Looking forward to returning when I go to NY again.

Great
