great local pub. the garden is an oasis, the Sunday lunch is the best value for miles around and the people and start are fantastic. highly recommended

As always,a friendly welcome, good beer good food. A proper pub.

This was such a great little find, looks small from outside but its much bigger than you expect. Drink prices are a bit much but i guess it keeps the riff raff out. Two of the bar staff are nice but one of the girls behind the bar is quite rude.

Tuesday evening quiz night, nice people, reasonably priced and serves good food.

Friendly, happy and obliging bar staff, good food served at a reasonable price. Great music on the jukebox. Various nights have quizes and bingo

One of our last local pubs and deserves our support. Friendly, welcoming staff and good service. We've enjoyed Sunday roasts here and they also laid on a wonderful buffet for a celebration I had here.

An excellent local pub mixed friendly cliental, good selection of lagers beers ales, guest ales are generally good. Bar staff are extremely helpful and kind.

Really good home food! Proper old school pub. I doubt there are many around like this. Still got beer towels!! Love it. The food was truely amazing!! I will be going back. Very filling, so much food per order. We ordered some sides, but really did not need it!! Absolutely stuffed after this meal.

Amazing pub serving home cooked delicious food at reasonable prices. This place is a little gem in Ilford! I would say the best place for food in the area. Wonderful two course Sunday roast all home cooked with the most delicious puddings. Having recently moved to the area, I brought my parents here and they really enjoyed the food and service!

Great little traditional pub! Beer and food is great! The beer especially always tastes fresh! Great atmosphere with a pool table, the prices are slightly steep to the usual Weatherspoons but this is a independent pub so it suffices. One of the last great 'traditional' local boozers in Ilford!

Classic British pub. It's nice to see that when all pubs around are closing down this one is still full of life. Love to spend evenings here. Last British resort in almost Asian community around.

Hi I visit this pub on a regular basis which is situated in my old town to meet my old mates. Very friendly staff good food and great publican whom I have known for many years who has kept a great community pub going successfully over the years, well worth the 14 mile round trip

Horrible pub drug dealers everywhere European staff very rude and the manager beats homeless people up who sit near by avoid.

Service was lovely, personal and friendly, and the location itself is lovely! We really liked the garden out back and the different rooms, plus the food was really well priced.

We have been going to the Prince of Wales for any year food is excellent and everyone is very friendly.

Lovely friendly little pub! Food is also really good and cheap! The fish and chips is incredible! Definitely be back
