Had a nice room on the ninth floor with a balcony. The staff were great. Everyone from the valets to the baristas were wonderful. Room had a couple small issues (loose door handle to the balcony, poor lighting in the bathroom) but we would stay again. Great location within walking distance to the 16th Street Mall and other downtown must see spots.

Stay away from the "Petite" rooms, especially if your claustrophobic. Got tired of calling for assistance. Cable didn't work, probably cause the room was at the very end of the hall, long cable run. They claimed it was the weather but the weather got better. Cable didn't. Safe didn't work so I couldn't lock up my belongings while I was at dinner, wondering if maintenance was gonna show back up and take my stuff! Restaurant service at Nickel was seriously slow. One server. Food was acceptable. Wine list bragged about using the Coravin system but turns out not for all of them! Found that out when the 1 waiter came to pour me stale wine... My view, dump of an alley.... I'd say spend your money elsewhere, this place is certainly not worth the dough.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite and the level of three service that they provided was exceptional. The hotel itself has a cool, artsy decor and the room itself was very comfortable.

Rooms were of a good size, with carpet by the bed area. Towels were a little small but otherwise ok. There is a nice little swimming pool and also a small shop which carries most of your basic needs saves you from having to go out of the hotel.

Cancer Society put me in this hotel so I could get my radiation . I asked their shuttle to take me to light rail. Sat in lobby for a while. Come to find out someone else got put in front of me. I would be happier to stayed a place wherei it doesn't depend on how much money you have

Stayed here about 20 years ago, and this room looks like it's 20+ yr old and hasn't been professionally cleaned or updated. I wanted to treat my dad to a nice nice hotel stay before he has a major surgery in Denver. I'm Disappointed.

Dirty stained carpet. Threadbare and stained parlor furniture. Nice bathroom, tho.

Attended a focus group in the conference room, which was swank and professional. Light breakfast was lovely and coffee was delicious. Great spot! Only drawback was that staff was unable to hook the projector up so that I worked, so I think we lost a little of the host's intended presentation.

As one of the highest end hotels in Denver, Hotel Teatro brings luxury to the forefront. Close to the art district in the heart of the city, this hotel's lobby hosts one of the best restaurants in the city. Bon appetit!

Boutique hotel in the heart of the Arts District of Denver. I stayed here with a friend on the 9th floor. Various theatre production prints cover the walls. Tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms, and a great coffee shop in the lobby!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary in mid-July, 2010 after finding a good deal through Perfect Escapes. We would never stay at a place this nice unless it was a special occasion, but it was, and we did and it was certainly worth it! The staff was fantastic - when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary, they delivered a complimentary bottle of wine to our room. It was definitely what I would consider to be a "fancy" hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the location was great.

Great location, big rooms, extremely comfortable beds, very clean and large bathrooms but even more importantly, all the team were awesome. Great boutique feel with all the amenities. GM Melissa went above and beyond as did all the team. My new favorite Denver home away from home.

Beautiful building and excellent location. However I had lots of trouble getting the pullout couch in the suite made up properly. Took more than one visit to the feint desk to get it solved.

Our downtown anniversary/Christmas fun with kids was based at Hotel Teatro. The Veteran appreciation showed and Returning Guest appreciation (and corner Rm 702) was second to none. Mackenzie Jackson's handling of every detail was exemplary, ask for her!

I really enjoy this hotel. The beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly, the bathtub is a plus, and the location is in perfect walking distance of plenty of shopping and GREAT places to eat!

I have no real complaints. The staff and on site restaurant were wonderful. It is well situated for walking distance to shopping, restaurants and attractions. We did have a corner suite and there is no real way to fully block light in the mornings so if you like to sleep in I would suggest a different room type. For a boutique hotel it felt a little more generic than I'm used to (and therefore overpriced compared to the Four seasons and Marriotts of the world) but overall a nice property and I would probably stay again.

I stayed at Teatro with my spouse for a long weekend prior to a work meeting. The hotel is beautiful with wonderful architecture and centrally located to many of the downtown Denver hot spots. The staff was really great: welcoming, helpful, attentive and efficient. This was one of my favorite weekend getaways so far and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel overall. Cons: Room wasn't ready on check in, fridge but no microwave in room, restaurant way over priced, good quantity poor quality food, view was terrible (literally the rooftop and plumbing of another building with no mountains as promised).

Nickel was great! Just had cocktails, salumi, and cheeses before a great hockey game. Elegant restaurant, the decor and atmosphere are excellent. Service was perfect. And the barrel aged negroni is too. The meats and cheeses are a mix of local and authentic. We had a good time.

Hotel Teatro was such a wonderful girl's trip for my mom and me! Matthew was a man of many hats and always was attentive to anything that we needed. I have never experienced such a personable service at a hotel from the time that I arrived. I can definitely say that my service standards are now higher thanks to the impeccable attention to detail that was provided to us at Hotel Teatro. Additionally, the hotel is in the perfect location and is a short walk to tons of 5-star restaurants. The rooms were spotless, and the vanilla lattes at the Nickle are wonderful! I am already looking forward to my next stay at Hotel Teatro and would give it more stars if I could. If you are on edge about booking, take this as your sign to do it!

Great little hotel in the heart of the city! Historic exterior, with old world charm and newly remodeled rooms and bathrooms. The staff was courteous and informed when making recommendations, finding our way around, or just picking something to eat. We loved our stay at the Teatro and will definitely be back!

Friendliest staff. Such a cute hotel. Bar and restaurant in hotel. Walkable to restaurants. Free shuttle from Union terminal if you take train from airport for $10. Peloton bike in workout room was a huge plus too!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Teatro with outstanding customer service. Matt and Melissa at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and friendly during our recent stay! Matt helped us retrieve a lost item and remembered were celebrating my birthday. We will definitely return next time we re visiting Denver!

250 dollars for the smallest hotel room I've ever had but it has a balcony smh. Has the smallest tv I've ever seen in a hotel room. Looks nice but the pictures make it look way bigger than what it is

Recently updated rooms, comfy bed, attentive staff and they have huge TVs in the room. Wifi coverage and speed was also great. The Nickel has amazing cocktails and the food is top notch. Do expect hotel restaurant prices on the food.

I stayed here a little while back for my birthday with my husband and they had chocolates ready for me. The boutique hotel vibe was super cool. I recommend a room with a balcony. The hotel bar has great drinks and the small plates are tasty! I enjoyed an in room massage that concierge set up very much, as well!!

It s a great hotel clean beds nice and comfortable. Bradey picked us up from train station too care of all of our luggage while Jennifer checked us in at 2 in the morning. They still had room service which was good and quick. We ate breakfast at the Nickel downstairs and everything was delicious. Marc took us to the our rental car in the morning. Everyone made us feel so welcomed you could not of asked for any better service. Highly highly recommend.

Stayed at The Teatro for one night and I was charged twice. I contacted the GM but apparently he wasn't interested in doing the right thing. So I paid twice to stay in a very average room for one night. Checked in late and the gentlemen at the front desk was rude. Do yourself a favor and go across the street.

Looked great and room was nice. AC and refrigerator are so loud I am still unable to sleep as of 3:30am. Considering sleep is the purpose of my stay I am less than happy with my purchase. I recommend trying a different place if you are needing rest.
