We spent a week in Denver and our friends stayed across the street at double the cost but Teatro was such a cozy place we always hung out there at night. Great service but you need to sell those sliders 7 days a week!

Decent place but overpriced for the amenities. My shower handle was broken and response from the front desk was pretty apathetic without any actual apology about the inconvenience. Gorgeous lobby area!
Great PET friendly Downtown hotel. The Hotel Teatro is our hotel of choice when traveling with our large dogs, they don t have any restrictions on size or breed. The service from the door to the front desk was fantastic and we love the historic feel of the building. I will always recommend Hotel Teatro... Great Job
Absolutely fabulous experience. My guy and I are healthcare workers and as a traveler I was forced to take a job in a different state to help fulfill needs. We decided to meet in Denver for a few days and could not have picked a more perfect hotel. All team members I encountered were professional, personable and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are large and the soaker tubs are absolutely fabulous. Thanks so much guys, we will definitely be back!
The room we had was set up to have a mirror all down one side of the bed and overlooked the city on the other side. Made for a perfect backdrop to a long night of not sleeping!
This hotel charged me a smoking fee for never even smoking in the room. We did it all outside in the specific area but because we had stored it in our room, they charged us
Room and bed very comfortable. Bathroom not adequately equipped. No bath mat or wash cloth. In room coffee maker didn't work. Service was casual at best. Ignored at front desk while staff chatted with each other. Coffee bar was for show only. Coffee from restaurant was awful
Rooms are a little small but they're really nice. I'm a huge fan of the soap. The bar is a great spot to hang out and the staff are great. I would recommend starting here.
The staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating. The attached restaurant, The Nickel, had superb food created by excellent chefs. Overall a wonderful experience.
We loved this boutique hotel downtown. The location was perfect. The bellmen were so nice. They remembered us, they drove us when we were going short distances, and they gave us recommendations. The bar is cozy. The rooms have tall ceilings and windows. It was very clean and quaint.
There for a meeting - the space was a bit awkward to get to, but was nice enough. No speakerphone and limited power sources are tough, but really good lunch options helped make up for that.
Excellent location. Walking distance to all the places you want to see in downtown. 12 minute walk to Union station, one block from larimer square, three blocks from 16th Street Mall which is a walk street with lots of shops and restaurants. Three Starbucks within two blocks. The hotel is very cleanand modern. They have the car service which will take you locally or pick you up from Union station. Upgrade to a corner room for more space and awesome views from higher floors. No need for a car. Take the train from the airport for $10 which takes around 40 minutes to get to Union Station.
It's a very nice building in a good location but our experience was a bit mixed when we stayed before our baby arrived. The room was simple but cute and pretty well appointed. The two issues were noise. First, the toilet shared a wall with the bed area and it was very loud so if one used the bathroom at night it would wake the other. The second is through our street-side window we could hear everything going on outside - people, cars, a nearby restaurant's outdoor music, etc. The pillows were also so soft they flattened to nothing leaving us both with cramped necks, but they're probably fine for some.
We were glad to hear they offer a free shuttle service around downtown which was helpful but we had an issue there too. When we were finishing with dinner we called for pickup and they said 15-20 minutes. 20 minutes later they called to say the driver was stuck in stadium traffic so another 15-20 minutes. 20 minutes later, they called to say he'll be there soon. We ended up waiting at the restaurant door for almost an hour and half, just standing there. They kept saying they'd be there soon so we kept thinking it's not worth it to get an Uber ride. That was a big chunk of our evening gone standing there watching for a car, and it was uncomfortable for my pregnant wife.
We will likely choose a different hotel next time.
Our 3rd visit to hotel teatro. Always saved for special nights away from the kids. We are thrilled every single time. They always make us feel so special and it s a gorgeous hotel. This most recent stay they upgraded our room to a jr suite for absolutely no reason other than being kind. From two tired parents this is such a special treat and so appreciated!
We booked this hotel as one of hotwires hotrates hidden hotels. We were a little skeptical having never heard of it. Everything from the valet service to checkin and our brunch room service were amazing. This hidden gem truly takes care of its guests. We have stayed in rooms that cost 3x as much, such as it s comptitor actoss the road but never received such immaculate service and room as what Hotel Teatro provided us. We will be back again and thank you for the experience!
I love this hotel! It's so cute, customer service is incredible, restaurants are great. Also, the hotel will drive you anywhere you want within 2 miles. Be sure to check it out!
Hotel Teatro posts fancy pictures on their website and appears very fancy from outside and in the lobby. And of course has the fancy price tag. However, once you actually get into your room it is not fancy. Not even a little. It was the most expensive room I have ever paid for and also the worst. The room was tiny, had a tiny tv, and the industrial AC unit outside the windows on the west side of the building was LOUD all night. The "do not disturb" tags for the doors also do not appear to mean anything to the room service crew as, even with it up, they kept trying to get in. Do yourself a favor and try another hotel. Fortunately, the location of this hotel is nice in terms of access to downtown attractions. But that is its only redeeming quality.
Such a vintage vibe!! Sweet, genuine staff and really amazing decor!! Local to EVERYTHING downtown, bring your best walking shoes!! this was home away from home! Thank you hotel Teatro! Francia & Anthony
Queen Room With Balcony: I ran a UK hotel & conference center, I find most American hotels abominable in comparison. Not here. Polite, classy, dedicated staff. Beautiful hotel, chic 'to a T'. I have high standards in the hospitality industry, and for the first time in over 3years of living in this country, all my requirements were met with the utmost care and attention to detail. Staff demeanor is the backbone of a successful business and every member of staff was on form. Amazing complimentary drop off and pick up service provided by the bellhops. We were taxi'd downtown to the Celtic Tavern, then we just called and they came to pick us up at the end of the evening. Bellhop Gabriel was extremely courteous, helpful, polite and dedicated. The hotel is very clean, a grand marble lobby with adjacent bar and cafe. As I have done hotel room inspections before, I found our accommodations spotless, even with my OCD. Stylish, comfortable, modern and wonderfully soundproofed; the only noise I heard from other guests was movement in the hallway. The queen bed consisted of a luxury mattress, down pillows and down filled duvet, the sign of a hotel that knows true comfort and taste, unfortunately I didn't check if they were a high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets - but it wouldn't surprise me, they know what they're doing. Electrical outlets are craftily built in to the nightstands and main table, large fluffy bathrobes provided, wifi included, a mini-fridge with freezer and complimentary bottles of water. On the morning of your check-out, at 6AM they finalize your bill, charge your card and slip the receipt under the door. Clever, as it prevents delays for clients at the front desk. It's frustrating when you have a plane to catch and you need to checkout, but there's already a queue of 20 other guests trying to do the same. The balcony gives exceptional views over the streets, although there are other buildings in view, the hotels location is well chosen. A few streets away from the center of the shopping district, you are on the edge of the city's hustle and bustle while still being only a few minutes away; allowing you to enjoy the city's nightlife from a peaceful distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, averaging at $300 for the Queen room with Balcony for a night it is a decent price for the luxury and comfort offered. I have been charged the same at other hotels for a lackluster service and shoddy accommodation, Teatro delivered in every aspect. Thankyou.
This is a beautiful hotel and the concierge/bar people are very nice. But the organization and general management is just terrible. I had my wedding guests (and myself) stay here for my wedding weekend. They messed up my entire reservation and even lost my room for the night of the wedding. I had a specific confirmation sheet with names for each room, but they did not follow their own confirmations. Although the space was beautiful and charming, the stress with the organization just wasn't worth it. If I could redo my wedding weekend, I wouldn't stay here.
Excellent service! The rooms have all of the essentials including a small fridge and more outlets than you could ever need. The bathroom are spacious and everything is excellently decorated. It's located in a great area and they offer free car service to anywhere within a 2-mile radius. Would love to stay there again!
First of all this hotel is pretty nice. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. If you want courtesy and staff that will satisfy you, you will receive it here. However for the prices I paid I would have rather stayed elsewhere. The overnight valet was way too expensive. I have stayed similar placed and there valet was cheaper. The room had a button for room service but no menu. There were no ice machines. The air was fickle, the WiFi cut out every 5 minutes and the toilet sounded like an airplane with the suction. All in all if you just need a place to sleep this is probably fine. If you want to actually stay somewhere well that's another hotel.
Highly recommend you stay away from here! I was charged a smoking fee for cannabis that was found in my room. I asked if they found a pack of cigarettes in a room would they charge them the smoking fee and they told me absolutely! The room was never smoked in, no complaints of smoke, no smell of smoke in the room, no ashes or anything. I was fined because they found cannabis! This is obsourd. I spend 50 days a year at hotels (including states where cannabis is not as accepted as it is in Colorado) and never once have I delt with anything like this. Yes, I signed a paper that said I would not smoke, no it did not say anything about being fined for leaving cannabis in the room.
Very beautiful hotel, with great views and close to all the fun downtown. They also have there own vehicle to pick you up and or take you where you need to go
For the most part my stay was awesome. Every employee we spoke with was kind and helpful. Our room was nice but nothing mind blowing. The only negative is at night we could hear EVERYTHING on the street below. Our first night we were both woken up by car alarms and sirens.
Hotel was great! Clean and modern hotel, bathroom was huge which was a plus. Everyone is super nice and great at explaining restaurants nearby. Parking isn't easy to find but they do have a valet service
I spent a two week business trip here, calling it home! The photos are of an upgraded room from the standard to a deluxe king. The extra space was worth it for the duration of my trip.
Staff were super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much of a problem.
The room itself was great, nice bathroom and a bath that was extra deep so quite relaxing. The black out curtains were useful as opposite is the four seasons which has bright lights on all night.
The large bed was super comfortable although the pillows not quite my thing, I found them way too soft so had a sore knock on the first night but again not a biggie.
Would def recommend this hotel you are right in the cbd, only a short walk from 16th st Mall and there are lots of things within easy access.
Stayed the night as a local getaway and it was great. Can't say enough good things. The bed was comfortable, pillows also. Bathroom was very nice. Room is a little on the small size but if anything it added to the charm. And all the of the staff were very helpful. I highly recommend you experience the hotel.
The Teatro is a nice hotel in an excellent location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only a couple of minutes walk to restaurants and bars. Parking was easy, but not included. Only reason why 4/5 starts instead of 5/5 was because the room was exceptionally warm, duvee cover and shower towels had some stains. I think it's easy enough to fix these things, and would recommend staying at The Teatro.
We really enjoyed our stay at Teatro on Friday night! We upgraded our room to a King corner suite and it was beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable and the giant tub was so wonderful!! I really loved to cedar soaps and shampoo too. Hotel soap and shampoo can be cheap....this is not that! We ordered room service at 3am after returning from a concert and it was delicious too. The chicken salad was some of the best I've ever had. We also got warm cookies and ice cream. It was delightful and we will definitely stay here again!
