5 stars for a 3 star hotel. Exactly what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. We were actually impressed with the breakfast, great selection! Loved the balcony from our room.
Charming and welcoming place.
I loved it!
It immediately gives a sense of sloppiness and little cleaning. Even the food is not well cared for.
Hotel Sirenetta is a nice hotel with great beach or mare vista views from most of the hotel rooms. Some rooms may have windows only or no windows, but most of the rooms in the Hotel have great views with a balcony. It is in walking distance to restaurants, stores, landmarks and the beach in Lido Di Ostia. There are also certain subway/ train systems that can take you into Rome and other nearby towns in walking distance to different stations. The weather is usually very nice when staying in the Summer, but i don't think gets that cold at other times of the year. Great free breakfast service with a variety of different options. Free wifi service works nice in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Lobby. There is also free airport shuttle service from the Hotel which takes around 20 minutes. (I don't know if this service is to other airports in Rome but i believe that it takes you to Rome Fiumicino) In conclusion, not a bad hotel.
Clean, cheap, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet
Particular the retro decor, very kind and available
Location is good, helpful staff but with public transport it takes 1 hour to rome centre
This was a great way for us to end our vacation in Italy, and it is about a 50-60 min train ride away from Rome Termini. We were about a 10-min walk from Ostia Lido Central station, which is right by a supermarket. The hotel itself was beautifully situated across the street from the beach, and we had a beautiful terrace view. There is free, basic breakfast and a lovely restaurant we did not try. The garden was also a lovely feature in the rear. The hotel is also near by the city center which has great gelato and shopping. We were about a 40-min walk (or 20 euro taxi ride) to the pier where there is also good food. We took the bus to the Ostia Antica station to check out the ruins there. Overall a very pleasant stay, even though wifi was awful.
Sirenetta Hotel
I have never gone to this hotel. I want to write here because the various booking sites have destroyed what they could in my life. I have no prejudices towards any place and structure, I am a person who has always worked. Today 1st January 2020 I AM WORKING. I am obliged to cancel a pre booking without any negative intentions for these people. I could never reach those places alive. If I'm lucky enough to plan a holiday in 2020, I'll remember that Rome has a Lido (I didn't know that).
Discreet hotel, minimal breakfast but still with the possibility of choosing between sweet and savory.
Hi sirenetta hotel .... Mo birth .. But I know satisfied .. As they say in Rome
There is no availability for customers. They arrange you so you can pay as much as possible. Not recommended
Charming little vintage hotel with adorable decoration and with a cozy back patio that makes you want to lounge for hours. Reasonably affordable too. Friendly, helpful service.
The hotel is small buy it has that typical Italian look. The staff are really friendly & and the views from the balcony are awesome. The rooms are basic but are very clean. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice place. Not to far from Railway and bus station. Right opposite the beach. Close to restaurants and coffee shops.
Staff is very kind.
Great Hotel with good location and very friendly staff.
Strongly recommended!
For my surprise of 3 star hotel it has everything you need, very clean the front desk lady was so nice.
The room is big with breakfast.
Nicely situated nice rooms great service with helpful staff
Charming restaurant, very nice bar, great atmosphere with Italian flair in the backyard.
I loved staying here before my flight. It is a cheap bus ride to get there from the airport and it drops you off at the closest train station. I was a bit confused at first with the hotel as it turned out nicer than expected. The receptionist was so helpful and welcoming - just what I needed after a long journey to Rome!
They upgraded me to an ocean view free of charge because the hotel had available space. I was pleased with the facilities and the room. There was poor wifi access in the rooms. The lifts are old but were intriguing to use!
It was a 10 min walk to the beach and you can have a nice swim although the water looks like it's mildly brown. There's also a restaurant/cafe on the beach and you get the full local experience as there are barely any tourists in this town.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend other travellers to stay here! Note: I paid about 30-40 for a taxi to the airport so if you want to save money, the bus is the best option to do so.
What a delightful hotel facing the Mediterranean. Coffee is on point, breakfast is tasty, staff very friendly and helpful. Their attached restaurant is fantastic and underrated. Taking coffee in the morning in the back garden area is a great change of pace. Highly recommend for just the attitude of the people.
Hotel with a truly original vintage flavor. Staff courtesy and room cleaning rating 10. Try the restaurant, the kitchen deserves more than a visit. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for a vacation of absolute rest. I advise
Very nice hotel. Balcony with beautiful ocean view, good room service and nice staff. Wouldn't recommend the restaurant tho.
Shameful. A little dirty. And let's not talk about the rooms
It is clean, quien and very pretty. It has a beautiful view to the sea and breakfast buffet, which is delicious.
Very nice hotel with a direct look over the Mediterranean, not a fancy hotel with a great reception. Elevator lousy so carry your own luggage up to max 2. floor. Lovely lobby with jazz music. Lovely garden, an oasis. Really recommended. Good kitchen. Should have 4 stars.
I can say it was a bad experience. Very poor hotel in every sense. old rooms .. poor breakfast
In Ostia Levante I would say nice and with a courteous staff. Visit it and book
This place is full of personality and charm. It feels as though you've been transported to a scene in Casablanca with the 40's inspired theme. The rooms are basic, but the staff is amazing! The free breakfast is well stocked and a big plus. Also, the resurant serves an excellent meal.
A good address for those who want to avoid ROME, its crowd .... and its prices.
Relaxing place, a bit confused in the different styles and furnishings. Staff too young
I stayed here for a short vacation with my family, a very welcoming place right in front of the sea and well connected to all the various services and shops you may need, comfortable and comfortable rooms and nice spacious rooms with all the comforts and very clean ... polite and courteous staff especially the girl who works at the restaurant located right in the hotel, has filled us with attention with a kindness and unique courtesy ... as for the breakfast is excellent, varied and plentiful and you can also have room service. The only flaw the hotel parking is not for everyone you need to reserve places that are limited and it is paid but in the opposite area you can park safely and for free. What to say ... great experience to be repeated surely.
Great price quality. Friendly and polite reception. Clean and tidy rooms. The only thing is the general neglect of Ostia that leaves something to be desired. At least in the hotel you notice less.
It is a simple but comfortable and clean hotel. The staff is very friendly and well disposed.
I've been here two weeks. The staff tried in every way to overcome the lack of organization of the owners. In the room we were given there was no fridge, the shutters were broken and the double bed were two single beds pushed together. The cleanliness of the room was the only positive note. Do not think I have the vocabulary words of my memory suitable x define this place called hotel, but I know that tomorrow I will go away and the thought of not tornarvici more, I already feel good.
The added value, both of the hotel and of the adjoining Ostium restaurant, is the staff, for competence, professionalism and courtesy.
Breakfast is ok ...
The owner is rigid and inflexible, but polite.
The water in the freezer was only put once.
Also, the shower was small and the water slow to heat up.
Fantastic. Great hippy atmosphere. Top location. Value for money
All very well, nice staff, clean room, breakfast ok!
Vintage hotel very cozy. Very nice dining room in open patio. You sit and watch a movie go by
Very nice and comfortable hotel, where I personally have important memories related to visits with my girlfriend
Nice hotel in close to Rome. Vintage rooms, restaurant. Old school decoration but it is very well selected. As often no respond from the owner on the google page. That s why 3 stars. Be connected and polite for those who wrote a message
Overall: acceptable. Location in the style of the 50-60s. In front of the sea and a few kilometers from Ostia Antica. Bad experience with the lady who badly welcomed us with an arrogant and unprofessional attitude: opinionated answers without checking the conditions agreed upon during the booking. Fortunately, the gentleman on the evening shift has showered us with attention.
A very enjoyable place with high qualified staff. Very good position.
Sea view terrace of the large room with a really nice deckchair
Hotel on the seafront of Ostia, good for the location and quick overnight stays, without big pretensions.
Hotel clean friendly staff you eat very well a bit dated cmq I will be back
Great location, waterfront. Needs a refresh, but generally recommended.
Good, but endless waiting times, the first course arrived an hour after the order!
Cozy hotel on the seafront, very varied breakfast from the point of view of choice. Somewhat dated rooms in the decor. Friendly and competent staff.
Nice breakfast buffet, clean room, a little dated but nice. Great reception, very helpful.
Good location close to the public beach, very clean, friendly staff.
Pretty modest breakfast.
Consiglio vivamente!
Ad accoglierci alla reception abbiamo trovato uno staff molto disponibile e professionale.
La camera pulitissima e calda con una piacevole vista sul mare.
Ci siamo trovati benissimo, sicuramente torneremo.
Excellent beachfront hotel with clean rooms and themed furnishings. Friendly and professional reception staff. Beautiful place on the back garden
It was nice to experience a weekend in a retro atmosphere, a little vintage, a little Cuban, all this just a stone's throw from the sea.
Comfortable clean average hotel with friendly restaurant
A very nice, clean cheap hotel with friendly, efficient staff!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quiet rooms. Very rich and varied sweet breakfast. Salty breakfast a little bit scarce. Meets expectations. We stayed only one night. Although we have booked a cheap accommodation, we have enjoyed excellent service!
Nice and cosy place. Right by the sea.
Good prices, good food, excellent staff.
Highly recommended.
The hotel has 3 stars but, the first thing that comes to mind, is that, on the whole, it certainly deserves one more. The staff is well coordinated in managing customer needs: everyone knows everything and this makes them very available and attentive. If breakfast became more creative and I didn't get an 'uncomfortable' room for the first two nights, I would certainly have given 5 stars to evaluate it, especially for the dedication of the staff, the cleanliness and the furniture chosen for the hall. Furthermore, making any inconvenience known, there is a big effort to try to please the customer.
Local with attention to detail.
A note at the restaurant.
Starting from the bread with a dream selection, it continues with appetizers, first courses, second courses and amazing desserts. I think I have not exaggerated ... Try it!
