The thermal bath is never overcrowded, the cuddly beds are a dream. Everything is always very clean all day. In the evening we had a great atmosphere with firewood.

I was walking around the resort, but I did not use the services. Apparently I belong to 5% of people for whom this architecture and interior design is simply expensive kitsch;) However, the village of Bad Blumau is very pretty.

In general: The Hundertwasser architecture is beyond any doubt for me.
But: The price level is now outrageous, the spa has been in parts in the years come and is abundantly crowded on weekends, even on the reserved beach chairs you feel like in the sardine can.

Unfortunately, the thermal baths have lost a lot of quality and relaxation. But gained in quantity - it remains to be seen whether this is what you want on your relaxing vacation . Unfortunately, only the guests are obviously asking this question.
We have been driving here - annually - for several years, because the offer was once the non-plus-ultra! You can tell that the spirit that made Bad Blumau what it was (a real dream) has dissolved. The point here is to squeeze as many people as possible into the thermal baths. What makes Rogner different from others, namely exclusivity, is no longer there.
There are 6 more beds in the sauna area than in the previous year. 6 doesn't read much at first glance, but it is enough to do more than disturb the peace and quiet: No matter how skillfully you do it, when you move you touch at least 2 other visitors. If you lie more in the middle, you touch everyone else in the row, it's become so tight.
In the hallway to the sauna area, there are suddenly also loungers, so that - and this is sheer madness - the legally prescribed passage width is more than half the size. It is particularly annoying when 2 visitors approach each other, because next to each other is no longer possible. Something like that I expect with a thermal bath that offers the corresponding prices. Bad Blumau is priced far above average, which we were always happy to pay because it offered real quality.
Coffee service is a joke. Since we have enjoyed coming here for years, we treated ourselves to something and booked Wolkenreich in the Ziegelhaus ( 35 per person per night more), partly because of this advertised coffee service. I had to ask at reception twice because at first I thought they were joking (the young man at reception was very friendly). The coffee service consists of a kettle and instant powder coffee. Ashamed to "offer" something like this to your guests. It's like when Audi suddenly starts installing engines from hotweels.
Breakfast until 10:30 - is on the website, in the hotel region and the staff explain it as well. The lettering is removed at 09:50 - so you can guess what to eat. Or does the question of waste no longer arise? Because this is to be assumed when guests are hungry but do not know what they are getting. At 10:10, 20 minutes before the end, it was cleared away.
We booked partner massage 2 months in advance, as a thank you for the early booking we received a 5% discount and thus paid a total of 174. On site at the thermal baths, the same offer for 74 per person. Sorry, I can t think of anything else.
There are also many smaller details such as: incense sticks are no longer lit by the day (that kills the charm of the whole facility more drastically than you think), the nice fire bowls are only sporadically heated at night, instead of Coke you no longer get ONLY Pespi, but, worse, their syrup, and much more. Simply a lot of little things that, taken together, made the Rogner Bad Blumau what it was: an incomparable arsenal of chamre and well-being, an attitude to life that carries no price tag. Whatever it turns out to be, I don't know if I'll do this to myself again and expose my wallet to unearned prices for longer.
I would love to. Sometimes a price increase does more than entertain even more paying masses.

Cleanliness in the outdoor pool was very poor, the large black vents in the interior were full of dust, Aussenfasade with windows would tolerate again color.
It is a beautiful spa, a nice place to relax and enjoy. A dream alone or as a couple, the rooms beautiful, the food was great. For relaxation highly recommended.

At first glance, the thermal baths are reminiscent of a maze. But once you have found your way around, you appreciate these angles and different, varied places! Everything is very nicely designed and you can find 100% peace! And above all the water is very warm and so is the air in the thermal baths! You feel absolutely comfortable!
The hotel rooms are as before with heavy wooden furnishings, which only underlines the style of the thermal baths. When it came to eating, we opted for the extensive buffet. A 4-course menu is also offered as an alternative.
All in all, a dream destination!

We were there on New Year's Eve 17/18 and everything was perfect as always. Service supper, all totally friendly and it was beautiful. The only thing is: The size of the portions of Silvster has decreased over the years. Do not be so timid with the portion size;)

Large selection of different saunas and swimming pools of different sizes and temperatures. In the evening special flair by fire along the pools. Gladly again. Priced but accordingly.

It was a very nice stay again. Very friendly staff, good food and great thermal baths. Only from the volcanic eruption on Wednesday from 21.30 clock, we were disappointed. There are other technical possibilities to make the eruption of the volcano (Wednesday and Saturday) an experience.

We enjoyed three days as a day guest in the Rognertherme Bad Blumau. The design of the bathing and sauna area was very successful, the infusions in the sauna were all excellent. The team in the sauna deserves a lot of praise. The service with bathrobes and bath towels was very enthusiastic. A small request from us would be in the sauna area a textile-free swimming and swimming.

We spent 4 days in the Rogner Therme. We love the "Vulcania" and the peace in this room. In the evening we had dinner at the steakhouse twice. The food was delicious and hard to beat. Top!
