Despite all our efforts-there was nothing to complain about. Our high expectations were exceeded, will definitely be back.

Unusual hotel, located away from the big city and bustle, with thermal pools.

Although I am not a thermal spa lover, I have to say that the thermal spa is really very beautiful, and even I felt comfortable!
Everything was very lovingly designed, very nice staff and excellent food in the hotel.
The pools are also very good and of excellent quality, especially the volcanic lake!

Just always wonderful here. Pure relaxation and very nice staff. Also the food is very fine, always fresh, organic and regional. I really appreciate it. I am now here for the third time within 5 years and will take the rather long way out of Switzerland here again. Because in Switzerland there is nothing comparable to this price.

It is a pleasure to be here, with delicacies, delicacies, calming, enjoying the many eye - pleasures, the playful art in its perfection, accepting the lightness of being, relaxing and recovering the enchanting place that leads to dream to return to the Life.

Uncomfortable atmosphere, water dries out the skin really uncomfortable. Buildings look as if they were designed by a 5 year old. No idea why a reservation is necessary, the spa was not even half full and all for 108 for 2 people minimum ... All in all, the worst spa in Styria.

The hotel is built in Hundertwasser style and therefore the rooms are in my opinion a bit dark, old-fashioned and minimalist decor. The staff is very helpful and nice. The house and the spa area is like I think a maze one has ever-long footpaths to get everywhere. The food was delicious only for a buffet compared to other spas so little choice. At breakfast there was no Nutella but only a organic nougat cream. Besides, everything is very organic. In the spa area is missing a small juice bar and if it is also water because you have to pay extra. I think it's too bad that these "special" beach chairs have to pay extra and a towel change would also be an advantage as the towels just take an extremely long time to dry. There are a lot of different pools inside and outside, the volcano det is outside and is so heavily advertised is nothing especially in the evening very unspectacular. The water is very pleasantly warm and positive was also around the outdoor pool candles was set up and several fire pits were lit. The showers in the spa area are set too high so that the shower curtain actually brings nothing, as it is pushed away by the strong water jet. I find you realize that you get into a rip-off trap quickly. On the whole, it's okay to have a look.

Great, beautifully designed thermal spa landscape. The staff is incredibly kind, warm and helpful, you can really let go. I went on a vacation and felt very comfortable.

My only point of criticism is that as a vegetarian I feel like I only get side dishes and pasta. In the end, this is not just a feeling, there are so many good vegetarian main courses. In terms of meat, there was always a lot of variety, so at least the creativity is there. In my opinion, breakfast is far too low on vegetables (lots of eggs, dairy products and bacon, no tomato or cucumber slices or anything like that). It was very difficult for me (because I eat a lot of vegetables in the morning), would not recommend the hotel for vegans due to the food.

The architecture of the spa is incomparable to any other. The hot water pools are huge with 37+ degrees much warmer than in many other spas. Unfortunately, however, the prices in the gastronomy are lifted.

Incredible place! A combination of a thermal bath experience with artistic architectural specialities that takes one not just to a relaxed atmosphere, but to a kind of spiritual experience. Congratulations to Friedensreich Hundertwasser and the family Rogner!

The thermal baths are very nice, albeit the most expensive in Austria. Restaurant is the biggest negative point, especially if you are here for several days. Very small card at high prices. Most of the dishes are very good, but the price / performance ratio is very poor.
A very good celery steak turns out to be a tiny slice of celery with pumpkin puree and 3 chestnuts. Nicely presented, very good, but not even a small child will be full for 11 . Total material value not 70c, the cooking effort not huge either.
Desserts are almost inexpensive, even if there is hardly any choice, on average 5 , caramel terrine or chestnut mousse is really good.
The waiters are impossible, sometimes miserable waiting times. You come, it is noticed, but the waiter only comes after 15 minutes. A total of 1.5 hours for the main course and dessert, although we ordered the dessert with the main course.
Also annoying - at 4 p.m. you can no longer eat in the outdoor restaurant, because dinner is covered, although there were still uncovered ones available. And otherwise there are only 8 tables left in the blazing sun, which are also occupied. Bad luck or you have to go inside, even in good weather and with a muzzle.

We have been coming to Bad Blumau * our wellness oasis * for 14 years.

An adventure for the whole family! Impossible to use all offers on just one weekend :-) Especially the theme evenings are really worth seeing and professionally prepared. In addition to the many water basins such as the wave pool is of course also at night the Vulcano world something special. The friendly and well-trained staff makes a farewell after a nice weekend the departure even harder :-( ATTENTION: because of the many very good restaurants, they reckon with a higher departure weight!

Today my wife and I went to the thermal baths for the first time and we had also booked an extra lodge (fire) and I have to say it was all worth the money!
The private room is very nice, there is a balcony with a direct view of the volcano, a double bed, minibar with various drinks and delicious chocolates and a coffee machine.
Really very pleasant to retire undisturbed.
The thermal bath itself is also very good with the different pools and especially with real thermal water.
A large sauna area rounds off the visit.
If you get hungry there are also a few restaurants where you can get real delicacies with regional products. I think regional or organic ingredients are very important there and there are even vegan dishes.
All in all, we had a wonderful day and we can only recommend the thermal baths unreservedly.

Already visited the third time, and always worth a visit. Even after 20 years of existence, the system gives a freshness and cleanliness which other spas do not have after one year. Here is the price and also the performance!

Stayed for 2 nights in the thermal bath - simply amazing! We could really relax. The various baths and the various saunas are simply great. I also had a full body massage with Claudia, which was really pleasant. In general, the whole staff is really nice and attentive. The breakfast buffet is large with a large selection, fresh egg dishes and there was also a small corner with gluten-free bread, etc. The evening buffet was also large, tasty and there was something for everyone. Room was a good size and modernly furnished. What you have to say is that I've never seen such a clean hotel - kudos !!!!
After dinner we are always in the bar "Klimbim", in which live music is played. So we could enjoy our excellent cocktail with a cigarette. A dream!
So now enough with the hymn of praise :)
The only thing that struck me was that there was a little rainy atmosphere in the "Regentag" restaurant. But that's no problem. Really had a wonderful, relaxing weekend in Bad Blumau.

Dive into another world, who does not like the usual hype that takes place in many spas, finds here pure relaxation at a high level.
Bathrobe and towels are included and are waiting for you in the locker. Personally, I find that very convenient, as you do not have so much to lug. Twice a week there is a volcanic eruption which you must visit should have experienced.
The entire area is to be regarded as a walk-in Gesamtkunstwerk.

Our 10th visit and we found in the room a thank you card and a heart - shaped bedding, which was covered with rose petals. Simply great! Atmosphere and food as always outstanding

The vacation in the beautiful thermal hotel with a lot of potential was sadly spoiled by the absolutely miserable service. We also named it Ryanair Hotel because everything costs extra. Cozy loungers cost extra ( 10 / day), as well as renting bicycles ( 16 / day).

We were there for five nights and in four of the restaurants / bars and were NEVER (!) Asked whether something could be brought to us, whether everything was still okay and whether we might, in a crazy way, want a second drink. We always had to look for a waiter for coffee, even at breakfast, and otherwise we were always left on dry land. Really bitter..
Why was the sauna bar not open?
Why was the Vulkania Bar closed in the evenings, even on evenings when the volcano erupts? Lots of people would have brought in business there!

We had a broken mattress (there was a big "hole" in the middle - it was just over). After we asked twice, the staff said the mattress would be turned over - but of course nothing has changed. We then just alternated with the sides so that we only had back pain every other day.

The upholstery smelled unpleasant (like sweat!) We were then changed without motivation. Nobody apologized for upholstery and broken mattresses.

Information was in short supply, you had to ask everything several times before you had the answer and as a guest you always felt annoying. For example, if you are asked to borrow a bike:
"Can you rent bikes?"
"Yes, just go out, choose one and fill out the form."
"Cool. Does that cost anything?"
"Yes of course."
"How much?"
"Well, I think 16 a day. I don't know by heart, but of course it costs something."

How can you get in the mood for anything?

Even little things that you would expect from a four-star hotel were not there - for example a toiletry set or space to hang up towels (generally space!).

It was also in bad weather (when no one could lie outside) MUCH TOO LITTLE SPACE inside. Not everyone could find a lounger, not even we (thanks to anti-social reservation guests too, of course ..) We couldn't go to the pools for half a day either because of thunderstorms and the risk of lightning strikes (as the indoor pools are connected to the outside are) - of course that was just unfortunate.

It's a shame - two stars for the beautiful facility and our top waiter in the steak restaurant! But really only for that.

We come to Bad Blumau twice a year. Once in summer and once in winter. So far our expectations have been more than fulfilled, a WOW experience from start to finish and that has been a regular visit for 16 years. The high price has always been justified! Yesterday we had our six-month summer visit and everything started again as usual. Relaxed atmosphere .. Pure relaxation. But little things that justify the price were no longer there. We spend most of the time at Vulkania and in the past there were always swimming snakes. Unfortunately, due to Corona, these were completely abolished and no goodwill solution was found (you would have had to buy them at the reception). On the other hand, in the outside area, an employee went to all guests to deliver cold towels, which was very pleasant. I know it's whining at a high level, but for the price it can be complained about. You could put an employee at the volcanic basin to disinfect and distribute the snakes there. In my opinion this would be a necessity. After all, you pay a lot of money.
Now I come to dinner. We have never been disappointed, a combination that was unique: unusual, creative and very tasteful. We were always very satisfied. We loved the food truck so much last time because it seemed like it was cheap fast food, but then there was such good food that we absolutely had to eat it again. This time we noticed in the menu that things didn't sound that good, so we only ordered the classic burger. This costs 7.50, without side dishes, just burgers. And I have to say that now, it was a better McDonalds burger. Bun bought the bun, onions okay, sauce was OK, meat was completely cooked through and dripping with fat. Unfortunately not the experience we wanted. This was no exception, I observed that with the other guests around us in the 20 minutes. Selling something like that is a bit cheeky. Please dear management staff, eat this burger. On the other hand, the potato wedges were perfect again, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Perfect. The ice cream was also excellent, I didn't have the waffles, but I didn't mean to "bother" the staff. Where we come to my last point. The staff was completely overwhelmed, many inexperienced, new employees who have no idea of good service. I've never seen anything like it in BB. Can of course also be due to Corona. But I've seen that in many catering companies who simply don't want to spend so much on service staff and therefore only hire the lateral entrant with a shaky hand. The staff was not even understaffed, but incompetent. I have never seen a situation like this in BB. I was actually shocked. Unfortunately, the WOW experience was no longer guaranteed. Nevertheless we will come back like every winter. But if that continues, I will unfortunately not be able to come because I / we have always felt so comfortable with you and it would be a shame to commercialize the whole loving project in this way. Please do not become a cost leader but please pay attention to the quality again!

Lots of fun. The architecture is very unique. The food is great. The hot springs are delightful.

Perfect stay! The staff was absolutely friendly! The rooms nice and with balcony / terrace nice to sit outside! The food was also very good and the spa / spa anyway! No childrens screaming or much noise - everything was very quiet and relaxing! If you had something to complain about or would have had, because that would be, as one would say in Vienna, sudern on a high level - then that was taken constructive! Thank you for the really nice and relaxing short break!

Pleasant atmosphere, nice design, you feel good, but the price is considerable

We had a very relaxing stay at Bad Blumau. The hotel room was very clean and in the same relaxing spirit as the rest of the ammenities. The food served for breakfast and dinner was very good, with lots of options to choose from. I really want to congratulate them for thinking about people with special diets (gluten free, vegan) and including options for them as well.

I haven't rated anything so far. However, I would like to say thank you to the Rogner Bad blumau for the wonderful hours that I have been able to spend with you so far

Best Therme ever, the ideal place for relaxation, well-being and relaxation

This was my first time at this spa and I am thrilled.
The spa area is very large with many different pools.
Even with very many guests, it is divided very well.
The sauna area is also great. Many different saunas.
I also had a full body on Anita and it was awesome.

There is a very large buffet in the morning and in the evening with lots of choice.
At lunchtime you can treat yourself to a snack in a bathrobe.

Furthermore, I want to praise the cleanliness, rarely seen such a clean hotel.

We loved it again, have been there for a few days. Only what you should change urgently are the bathrobes! You should already have a few pieces larger in one size. I've never been able to tie that! And that's really not exactly pleasant when man goes out smoking. But otherwise really great. See you soon again
