We come to Bad Blumau twice a year. Once in summer and once in winter. So far our expectations have been more than fulfilled, a WOW experience from start to finish and that has been a regular visit for 16 years. The high price has always been justified! Yesterday we had our six-month summer visit and everything started again as usual. Relaxed atmosphere .. Pure relaxation. But little things that justify the price were no longer there. We spend most of the time at Vulkania and in the past there were always swimming snakes. Unfortunately, due to Corona, these were completely abolished and no goodwill solution was found (you would have had to buy them at the reception). On the other hand, in the outside area, an employee went to all guests to deliver cold towels, which was very pleasant. I know it's whining at a high level, but for the price it can be complained about. You could put an employee at the volcanic basin to disinfect and distribute the snakes there. In my opinion this would be a necessity. After all, you pay a lot of money.
Now I come to dinner. We have never been disappointed, a combination that was unique: unusual, creative and very tasteful. We were always very satisfied. We loved the food truck so much last time because it seemed like it was cheap fast food, but then there was such good food that we absolutely had to eat it again. This time we noticed in the menu that things didn't sound that good, so we only ordered the classic burger. This costs 7.50, without side dishes, just burgers. And I have to say that now, it was a better McDonalds burger. Bun bought the bun, onions okay, sauce was OK, meat was completely cooked through and dripping with fat. Unfortunately not the experience we wanted. This was no exception, I observed that with the other guests around us in the 20 minutes. Selling something like that is a bit cheeky. Please dear management staff, eat this burger. On the other hand, the potato wedges were perfect again, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Perfect. The ice cream was also excellent, I didn't have the waffles, but I didn't mean to "bother" the staff. Where we come to my last point. The staff was completely overwhelmed, many inexperienced, new employees who have no idea of good service. I've never seen anything like it in BB. Can of course also be due to Corona. But I've seen that in many catering companies who simply don't want to spend so much on service staff and therefore only hire the lateral entrant with a shaky hand. The staff was not even understaffed, but incompetent. I have never seen a situation like this in BB. I was actually shocked. Unfortunately, the WOW experience was no longer guaranteed. Nevertheless we will come back like every winter. But if that continues, I will unfortunately not be able to come because I / we have always felt so comfortable with you and it would be a shame to commercialize the whole loving project in this way. Please do not become a cost leader but please pay attention to the quality again!
