Although there weren't a full selection of services available because of the pandemic the rooms were nice, the staff was great & the amenities available were nice to have access to. The restaurant Fuego? Totally overrated in my opinion, lacking in flavor & imagination for prices that were beyond ridiculous for the slim selection offered there. If you're looking for a clean room with a lively harbor view this is you spot. If you looking for fine dining at its best you'd best look somewhere else.

Great hotel. Very comfortable room. Great staff. Only drawback is the location on the other side of the bridge. Actually it's an advantage if visiting the Queen Mary like we were. There's a short walk on a convenient path along the ocean. We also tried the bar Fuego and had a very nice experience there. We'll be staying again.

Worst hospitality Service ever experienced!! this is not a four-star hotel and the service is probably comparable to motel 8 service. Do not stay here ever! You choose any other location save yourself the headache.
The restaurant messed up every single order from our breakfast to dinner and Instead of taking accountability for their mistakes, the manager Deshe was incredibly rude and dismissive !

This is always my first choice to stay at in Long Beach. The Hotel and staff are absolutely great, and you actually feel like you are out of the country here... with a beautiful view of the city across the ocean bay.

Super fun hotel near the Queen Mary. Great decor with hookah lounge, nice swimming pool, and restaurant. Located close to the Long Beach shipping docs so there is a lot of industrial activity but totally surrounded by water and the ambiance is great. Not super convenient approx. 1 mile walking distance to everything but you can hop on the aqua bus to get to to the Pike Stores, the Long Beach Aquarium, the movie theater, Shoreline Village, and more restaurants.... so it is a little bit off of the beaten path but definitely cool if you have time to be adventurous. Aqua bus is public transportation (small boat) and cost $1 per person. This hotel is a hidden treasure. Walking distance to the Queen Mary but we couldn't get on the Queen Mary without paying over $30 for admission. (We just wanted to grab a coffee but they said we had to pay full admission.)

This hotel is located on the water with relaxing views. A water taxi stop is just behind it too, rides for a dollar. The restaurant had great food and drink with wonderful service. Alfredo made us feel welcome and at home. I recommend staying here if you enjoy good service, decor and atmosphere. You can plan group events too!

This is a very swanky hotel. The rooms are nice and I had a good view of the water overlooking inner courtyard of Building 1. The downside with this hotel is there is nothing to do other then the Queen Mary. Most acitivites require you to cross the bridge.

Nice view if you get the right rooms needs more staff to clean their grounds during a pandemic but overall it was okay and a better security company that knows how to speak to the guests

On February 23rd I attended a conference at the Maya Hotel in Long Beach. I was there for les than 2 hours and was instructed to let the parking attendant know which conference I had attended. I followed their instructions and was charged $12.00 for less than 2 hours of parking - good thing I let early or I would have had to take out a title loan on my car to get out.

I will avoid attending any future events at the Hotel Maya, Long Beach.

Stayed one night here. Lovely hotel in a scenic part of Long Beach near the water and the Queen Mary. I can't complain about accommodations, but I must complain about some of the staff. When we arrived at 10pm we asked for late checkout and received some slack about that. Checkout is 11am and we asked for 12pm. He reluctantly agreed but forgot to note it. We slept well, and then had breakfast. My wife just wanted coffee and they said $10 for just coffee. We weren't about to pay that for a cup of coffee, so she got the buffet for$25 and had coffee and some watery oatmeal. After breakfast (9am), I stopped by the lobby to confirm our late checkout. Without checking the computer, she said "absolutely not, we are too booked" after telling her the night clerk said we could, she gave frustrated looked and said, "ok, I'll have to honor that" Their was two other incidents first I won't get into decision details.
Bottom line is this. I'm a Hiltons Honor member and stay at Hilton often, mostly in midwest and southern areas. I've never been treated like this. Most of the time they'll likely tell me kindly that they can't accommodate for such and such reason. This staff needs to work on that a little more
To leave on a more positive note, this is high end hotel. If you have lots of money, you might well enjoy this. Since of the staff was very kind, and the location is a place that you will enjoy both scenicly and activity wise.

My husband and I went to enjoy the restaurant for valentines day. Cost wise, I'd say that one is basically paying for the location and view(which was gorgeous). Very well lit and kept warm with space heaters and a huge fire pit; however, the service and food quality were disappointing. We couldn't get our host's attention and ended up waiting 20 mins for the appetizer and 50 minutes for our food. By the time we got our meals, my husband fries were stale and overcooked, my carrots were strangely enough burnt and undercooked in the center, the filet mignon was both tough and overcooked. Desert was excellent though.
Again it was a beautiful setting but the quality and lack of service were off putting.

I attended an alumni summit here and loved the layout of the hotel. The walk along the shoreline was beautiful. There were lots of places to network and socialize both indoor and outdoor. We even boarded a cruise directly from their dock!

We're very disappointed in the restaurant menu change. Unfortunately my Lobster dish was very overcooked. It was embarrassing since we took our neighbors after telling them how good the food was. The service was good.
