The first time I stayed at this hotel was due to attending an invitation to an engaged cousin and I was advised to stay at this hotel.
I have never come here and was surprised because according to the story this old hotel is inhabited by ghosts. But after arriving there, I fell in love with the buildings, decorations, and nuances because I am a fan of art with high historical value. Then finally there are no more stories about ghosts in this place.

Luxurious bedrooms feel like honored guests and nobles with various luxurious amenities.
For dining, 2 modern restaurants are very comfortable so it is not difficult to find good food and is located in the same area,

Historical place, really really vintage and elegant. I really like their interiors and decoration it's 1910s. One of the historical places in Surabaya. Comfortable rooms too. They have room tour/hotel tour if you guys want to know more about their history and detail of rooms.

There was a spot of pi on the mattress and the bed stinks of pi ! we call the reception and thay came to change sheets and blankets ! The hotel is very nice but not very clean !

Good, classic, large portions of food ... just a little spooky

A five star heritage hotel in the heart of Surabaya. Typically ancient building during the Dutch Colonial. The room is spacious and lovely bathroom. Complete amenities. For me a bit spooky because the lighting in the room is a bit darker. The corridor is a bit confusing to go to the Lobby (need the proper signs). Apart from that the food taste is so Good. Lovely pastry too. We spent a lot for the food and beverage as well as the laundry. It s worth to return back again to stay next time. Last but not least, the staffs are so friendly.

Some rooms are still arranged like in ancient times such as ancient style chairs and tables. Also the interior in the room uses a lot of wood elements such as cabinets, beds, mirrors. Stay here as if we are reunited with the conditions of ancient times.

One of the hotels in Surabaya with the best garden view which is also spacious for any event, wedding reception, birthday party and even gathering or photo shoot. The entire hotel area is all total great for photo shoots! Moreover, the Presidential Suite, living in a hotel room that feels like a Sultan in the Presidential Suite.

We did not stay here but got a tour by our guide when we visited the city. Very luxurous hotel. As result it is expensive in Indonesian terms but when compared to Europe still affordable. On my wish list for my next trip to Java !
