Very good hotel.
I sleep every month in Paris and it is one of the best value for money that I could know.
Extremely quiet hotel, good bedding and very good breakfast all in a contemporary decor.

Wonderful hotel that makes me, despite my aversion to public news, write something here. Small but nice room, everything was clean (I'm picky) and a very tasty breakfast buffet. Very courteous staff and also got a good price. Top!

Loved this hotel. My friend, Lynn Phillips and I were just there and had a wonderful stay. The staff made us feel like we were at a "home away from home". This was my first trip to Paris and would definitely go back and stay at "Le Magellan". They went above and beyond. The hotel is very quaint which I like and the outdoor patio is marvellous. Just down the street is a cute little bistro where the locals go with reasonably priced meals and courteous staff. Everyone spoke some English so had no difficulty at all. Thumbs up!!!

Nice hotel in a quiet, tidy neighborhood. Tidy breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Small room, but with an eye for beautiful design and pleasant rain shower.
Authentic restaurants in this little tourist neighborhood. Public transportation is a bit further away. Suitable for Paris lovers who are no longer here for the first time.

Great location (15-20 min walk to Arc de Triomphe) and very near some pretty gardens.
Lovely room - well decorated, comfy beds, clean and well equipped.
Breakfast is very nice (lots of choice).
Friendly staff.
Great experience overall and would definitely recommend.

Nice unpretentious hotel, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast is quite good. Nearby subway station, although walking one kilometer is the Arc de Triomf, and a little more walk and you get to the trocadero. I recommend it

The rooms are not big but are enough for a couple + baby. Everything felt new and clean. Staff was warm and pleasant and the breakfast was great. The location near Avenue Pereire is very convenient, the area is pleasant.

Friendly reception, efficient breakfast staff, proper rooms, 16 qm, much better than ibis. Near metro and bus stops, with restaurants in the vicinity, a carrefour city, McDo, and 3-4 boulangeries. Calm street. Three star interieur on the 2.5 star narrow side. No bathtub, but with bidet. Shower with fine liquid soap. Sewing kit and cotton pads. Unpleasantly rough Q tips. Hairdrier is a bit difficult to handle. Heater in bedroom is fast and strong, the one in the bathroom is not helpful.
Lift, small lobby, narrow corridor. Maps, le Figaro, tourist info, inexpensive vending machine for water and juice. Shoe cleaner on every level. Altogether a nice hotel. Breakfast is useless: Days without boiled eggs, poor standard coffee. During holidays, breakfast room is jammed, waiting line. Even when it is not crowded, you get moved around by the staff to a different table, the only reason being that they don't want to occupy a place for 4 with fewer people. Ofc it would be simpler to move the cutlery...For being in the periphery of the center without a sight in the direct vicinity, a bit expensive. Baggage deposit service. Don't take the breakfast deal, let alone the extra breakfast for 17 , and you will be happy with a calm little hotel with all the basics without the ibis cramming.

Quiet, recently renovated, without carpeting, breakfast until 11am on weekends, close enough to various metro stations and buses: too bad they removed the bidets from the rooms - it was one of the few hotels in Paris that had them.

A great city hotel, all my expectations were exceeded. We had a room to the yard / garden. The room was small but quite adequate for a long weekend. Clean and everything perfect without blame. The bathroom was small but functional, very good shower. I think it is nice if despite the city hotel has a quiet hotel, we could sleep very well without any noise from inside as well as from the outside. The breakfast was extensive, only the breakfast room was a bit cramped, but complain at a high level. The location of the hotel is very good, the subway nearby. Numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity but again far enough away because of noise. We would definitely stay here again on our next Paris trip

Had a great stay Dec 6-9. Beautifully modern and clean rooms. Rooms a little on the small side but very well equipped and decorated beautifully which easily made up for that. Would definitely stay again. Very friendly staff

Friendly and helpful staff (bilingual), huge rooms by Paris standards, clean and modern, tasty and diverse breakfast, and a nice little courtyard to relax in. Will 100% be returning here on my next trip.

Thin walls and noisy hallway doors that get slammed early in the morning. No a/c. Laundry services are stupid expensive (8$ for a shirt!). Rooms are small. Shower is tiny. Place is clean, though. At least it's in a safe area. After 3 amazing hotels in Ireland, this one is a complete disappointment... Looking for another place to stay now.

The hotel rooms are very quiet and the bedding very comfortable. We can point out aging equipment (but still in good condition), and the problematic absence of sockets at the headboard (only one at the entrance to the bedroom and in the bathroom).
Otherwise the breakfast service is very adequate.

Hotel very welcoming, a staff that meets the needs of its customers: last minute garage, double room for children next to the parents. 10 minutes walk from the Champs Elysees.
Rich breakfast in a pleasant indoor garden in the early morning. All this allowed us to have a good stay in Paris.

I highly recommend this hotel. The room was spacious, well-equipped and perfectly cleaned every day. Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were very tasty (especially delicious coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice) and the location is very convenient. I would definitely choose it once again.

A decent 3.5-star hotel in Paris. I spent a week here for 2 years. The big room for Paris. Exceptional breakfast. I was in August and I took breakfast in the kindergarten. Superb. Pt Paris is a pretty good hotel. Pretty expensive yet though Paris and 3.5 stars worth it.

Was here a few months after the renovation. Everything has become very nice. Breakfast as always excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good service. The garden is a small green oasis. Here you can whenever you want to sit, whether for breakfast or dinner with a glass of wine. Practical is also the good location. In a few minutes you are at the metro station Pereire.
Here in this area there are also some bistros, restaurants.

Room ok and very quite , breakfast very nice ,good point fir visting Paris , 5 minutes walking from metro station , 10 minutes walking to catch the ryanair bus , shops restaurants near the hotel , only problem would need more electric plugs in the room

I loved my room with a balcony! It was very clean and had a well stocked bathroom. The location was perfect, right by an outdoor market in the summertime and the staff was very friendly. Overall a wonderful stay.

This hotel is a pearl in the 3 star category.

This hotel is a pearl in the 3 star category.
Centrally located - only about 5 minutes from the metro, absolutely quiet even with the window open - as in a side street and the service was very courteous, always polite and very uncomplicated.
The rooms were cleaned every day (with a Vorwerk vacuum cleaner, you know what you have). Our room was good and happily 20 square meters. The bathroom was clean, had a bathtub that was also showered and a bidet. The beds were pleasantly hard and not worn out. There was a safe in the closet.
The breakfast buffet was very extensive and very tasty. We didn't miss anything.
Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. Just register once and you are in - just in time.
If you leave in the evening like we did, your luggage can be deposited in the hotel - free of charge.
Conclusion: Small home for the time in Paris.

Located in an extremely convenient neighbourhood of Paris, nice comfy rooms, great breakfast and very attentive staff at your service. It just lacks some slightly overall better quality to become a four-star hotel.

Nothing to say .... Small 3 star hotel very cute, with amenities of this century as modern air conditioning and television that is not 90s! Very quiet room we slept well! You really have to spend 4 stars is well deserved!

Small clean hotel in the heart of the city. Convenient and criteria for hotel selection was. Proximity to our appointment. Parking available.

It wouldn't be a hotel for my vacation. However, I don't particularly like cities. But long stays here would be too boring for me.

We had a room at the back. We haven't heard of the living city of Paris.

In some of the big hotels we usually stay in we have more noise than here.

Should we go back to our customer. We'd be here again.

hello, very happy with our stay hotel very quiet comfortable bedding well located, the breakfast very rich I recommend it and especially the staff who is your little care (pers de chambre, breakfast, home)

A most unpleasant experience!

A most unpleasant experience!
I called 24 hours before to prevent and cancel a night in this hotel, because my assistant had, in good faith, made a reservation 10 days before, without knowing of the SNCF strikes the day after the reservation, which prevents me from traveling to the capital.
I therefore ask to postpone by a few days, even with a supplement, which is what most quality hotels in Paris do, when there are strikes (this is called customer service). I spend at least 30/40 nights a year in a hotel in Paris and the 2/3 times this has happened to me, we have always found a solution.
There I came across an extremely disagreeable person on the phone, almost haughty, who did not try to find a solution for a single second, speaking to me in a completely unbearable tone, like a "lesson giver".
So with such a welcome, you can be sure that you will never see me again, and that I will not give you a good press!

Allison is the best! The hotel is extremely clean, and located in a quiet street with many places to eat nearby. Breakfast every morning was so fresh and delicious we looked forward to waking up. But most of all, the front desk team had the best customer service I have experienced. In particular, Allison went above and beyond in helping us through tough issues with some of the tour schedule. We will miss the hotel and all the wonderful experience during the stay. If we ever visit Paris again, no doubt we will stay at hotel Magellan. We are forever grateful! Merci!

The hotel is super clean, very redesigned and renovated. Super friendly hotel staff, at the reception and at the breakfast buffet. :)
The hotel room is very small, probably a total of 14m2, bathroom and sleeping area - very well maintained and newly made, actually completely sufficient. :)
In the room there is a TV, desk with chair, kettle with tea and water-soluble coffee, air conditioning, so everything you need.
The breakfast buffet is well equipped, everyone can find something.
It is also very good that the hotel is in a quiet location, no excessive car traffic or the like. every room has electric shutters.
It takes 18 minutes to walk to the Arc de Triumph and 45 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. (But both of these are directly on the way to each other - i.e. if you walked to the Arc de Triumph it is only 15-20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower.
The other attractions are also around 45-50 minutes away, as is the Hard Rock Cafe.
And if you don't feel like walking you can also take the subway which is 6 minutes away from the hotel, a ticket costs 1.90 which is super cheap.

Excellent place to stay.

Short walk to l'arche de triomphe and champs d'ellysee ( sorry about my spelling).

Beautiful, comfy hotel in a great location if you want to visit both Paris and Disneyland (easy access to metro and Rer stations and to Beauvais Airport shuttle). The staff and the services are excellent.

We were there at a weekend at the beginning of August. The hotel looks exactly like it is shown on the pictures. The service is very good and the breakfast was delicious. Most importantly it is nearby the city and it is possible to walk to the eiffel tower etc. We would definitely recommend it and will come again.

My wife and I have stayed for a first week of July 2013 at Magellan Hotel and found staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Room service was very quick and breakfast they served was delicious and plentiful. Hotel is located in quiet neighbourhood, close to metro, shopping and great street side restaurants like L'arc cafe on Avenue Carnot. I would definitely recommend Magellan to anyone and would stay there myself again on next visit to Paris. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit to Paris so enjoyable! John Wojcik and Margaret Stevens from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

This 3 star hotel is superb. Located in the 17th near the Porte de Champerret in a quiet street. A nice welcome and very professional. Spacious and quiet rooms. Breakfast buffet. The orange juice is made with freshly squeezed oranges. Everything is made for a pleasant stay and gives the desire to return

A recommended hotel to see the city.

A recommended hotel to see the city.
The hotel is located in a small, quiet side street (one-way street). Metro and bus stops are just a few minutes' walk away. There is parking in front of the house. This, however, with a parking ticket. Alternatively, you can rent a parking space in the secure underground car park nearby for 22 / night (instead of the 20 stated on the website). What is recommended if you know the Parisian park style.
We were received very competently. English was spoken well. The hotel is very compact. In good condition for its age. The hotel consists of a front main building with 5 floors and a smaller rear building with 3 floors. The entrance area has a small bar, a seating area, access to the breakfast room, an elevator and a drinks machine. The small, cozy garden invites you to linger. Breakfast can also be taken there, next to the breakfast room. The breakfast buffet is clear, but contains everything your heart desires. We liked the freshly squeezed orange juice best. The coffee was a bit too weak for us. But that's a matter of taste. Our room (rear building, 1st floor with window to the courtyard) was very clean but not very large (but you just want to sleep there). The room had a double bed, which consisted of two single beds pushed together. The mattresses were not worn out and reasonably hard by French standards. The room also had a telephone (for a fee), free WiFi (we didn't use it because I got a security warning when I logged in that something wanted to have access to my data), a TV (about 50 programs, but only 3sat , ZDF, ZDF neo, ZDF Info and ZDF Kultur in German), a small luggage rack, a table with a kettle and everything you need for morning tea or instant coffee, a chair, electric external blinds, a small cupboard with an integrated safe Ironing board with iron and a socket next to the front door. We missed outlets on the bed, because after a long day out you would like to charge your smartphone and continue to use it at the same time. We also missed air conditioning. We had temperatures around 30 degrees outside. It was accordingly warm in the room. Through the window to the quiet courtyard we could sleep with the window open at night without any problems. The bathroom was also very compact but also clean. Except for a few brown stains on the ceiling that could be wiped away without any problems. The bathroom had a bidet, a toilet, a washbasin and a bathtub that could also be used for showering. Since the bathtub was right by the window (frosted glass), it could not be opened for security reasons. It is not recommended to shower with the lights on when it is dark outside. Unless you want to contribute to the general amusement of the guests present in the garden.
All in all a recommendable hotel for two or three nights.

Room: small but clean.

Room: small but clean.
Staff: natural and friendly and competent.
Breakfast: rich and good.
Recommendations of the staff for guests with hunger:

Location: good, metro line 3 station Pereire - Levallois 4 minutes away
Really all very OK here, in the area of 3 stars a real insider tip!
One of the nicest and most beautiful hotels of my experiences! Thank you for this wonderful stay, the week in Paris will never be forgotten!
