Hotel with understaffed maids for great prices (ex cleaning lady)

excellent establishment, well located, very attentive staff, a remarkable bistronomic table (a menu at 52 of great value for money). We regret the one-size-fitting bathrobes and the chairs, which are more designer than comfortable for adults, but this remains a very nice experience.

Luxury hotel where you eat very well and there is a spa where you can get a massage

The scenery, food and staff were great. However, the coffee was far too expensive.

Great castle relay! Very nice and harmonious decoration.
Restful exteriors, pleasant beautiful heated swimming pool. Exquisite table. Only downside the small size of the room.

The place is ideal for recharging your batteries in an idyllic setting.
Five * also for the staff who are adorable.
However, it is a pity that there is not a pool reserved for children.

I rarely give 5 stars but in this case service, place, particularity of the furnishing and kindness of the staff make this hotel a gem that surely deserves, the dinner of the last night gave the positive coup de grace with the imagination and the goodness of the dishes .

Place decorated with great taste, super home.
The room we had for one night was sublime.
The treatments are top, the spa area also.
No complaints.
Small downside: the waiters at the Bistro who was not necessarily very smiling and kind to one of them.

The convent is ideally located, the exteriors are pleasant.
The outdoor pool very good.
The interior is very well decorated, our room with a terrace overlooking the pool was perfect.
It had everything you need, and excellent bedding.
I took a 45-minute body message which was very pleasant and the masseuse was very attentive and listened to I recommend.
The small downsides for a 5 star.
Very restricted spa. Just a sauna with an indoor pool when in the hamman unavailable due to covid and I can understand.
As for the restaurant, bar, and breakfast buffet were overall very good.
The staff is very pleasant, but very young and lacking in experience, whether at the table or at the outdoor pool. At the reception and valet level nothing to say at the top.
I put 3 because it is a 5 star and there is something very good in an idyllic place but a lot of blunders in the services of the place and spa really very limited and a pity not to use the interior space at night because it is beautiful.

Wonderful stay in this former Convent! The staff are endearing, the fine cuisine is terribly delicious. A timeless stay in a charming room.
We will gladly come back.

Nothing to say more that is a paradise for the palate

BE CAREFUL OF STAFF WHO STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS: I had left my sunglasses in my bathrobe which I left (after 6 p.m. and being the last to leave the spa) in the locker room of the L occitane treatment center. When I wanted to collect them the next morning at the opening, the manager kindly answered me with a big smile that there was nothing in the pocket that she had supposedly checked herself when I knew precisely that they were there! I was so shocked by this lie worthy of a low-level hotel that I did not know what to answer ... I had loved the place, but the attitude of the haughty manager had already cooled us (to the opposite of beauticians who were very friendly and professional) when welcoming, staring at people and responding with a mocking smile ... we are used to frequenting this type of hotel but a person like this one we had never met before ... maybe she is new in the establishment and does she not yet have the attitude (and the habit) of the great places? I do not know...
A word of advice: take care of your business!

Beautiful place for our 10 years of personal wedding care.

I knew this place before the change of owner 3 years ago. There was an atmosphere of warmth a real cocoon a total escape a soul to reign in this place. From the wooden furniture and especially what the walls contain. Today more kitsch decor soul a spa that can be found everywhere. Well, we eat well ... luckily.

Excellent meal, superb evening. The surroundings are fantastic and the staff is welcoming.

Exceptional quiet places in a restored convent to discover during your stay in the region, even for the time of a drink ... The very bright patio is beautiful with its beautiful frame apparent. Enjoy the spa and pool (pity the outdoor pool is only accessible for guests staying at the hotel).
The restaurants are very good despite a (very beautiful) wine list at prohibitive prices ....

Beautiful place that we could only visit, for lack of time.
We could not pass by without stopping there, after all that a couple of friends had told us.
The young man from the front desk gave us a quick and efficient description of the places.

A place steeped in history, tastefully restored and a lot of charm. Very welcoming, helpful and professional staff. We took advantage of the restaurant Le Pesquier. Refined dishes presented with a lot of originality. For a restaurant of this quality, very good price.

Hotel located in a village made up of several castles offering a majestic setting without any noise on the horizon offering a total change of scenery. The hotel is really beautiful, offers SPA, swimming pool, sauna, fitness center and massage.
On arrival we were treated to the porter and valet to take care of our belongings to the room and to park our vehicle.

The rooms are very spacious with a beautiful very large bathtub, the taps could be revised however but the whole is really standard, however the downside that we could note is the soundproofing to be revised at the doors giving access to the hall floors, because we hear the comings of others occupying the premises, that said there are not often people in the hallway.
The food is delicious and refined without even having gone to the hotel's fine dining restaurant, which suggests that the best about this one.

The staff are really pleasant and take care of their customers. We highly recommend this majestic place!

Paid 300 for a gift box without having anything materialized (invitation card or even confirmation with pdf by email)! The service responded by email as if it was normal.

Then during the all-inclusive stay, with restaurant, it's big tight we asked 5 more for having taken fish!

Room on the back no view and no light meal half board identical every day.

Meal with truffles.
10 euros more than the previous year.
2 more people at the round table. We were 12 instead of 10 last year so not comfortable.
The first tasty truffles on the first two dishes ...
Pity...
Then it was okay.
You have to be careful not to prioritize the gain over quality ...

The setting is beautiful. The massage at the Occitan Spa is one of the best I have ever done. There is an interesting package: meals + spa + massage. Irreproachable welcome and good meal. The SPA is not up to those of the Black Forest, the smell was not pleasant in the hammam but we had a good time anyway.

A parentheses in time, a perfect moment at all levels. The hotel, the gourmet restaurant, the breakfast, the swimming pool, the SPA ... everything is perfect! ! A service to the small care, perfect to make a real break and relax.

Wonderful setting and very high quality services. Starry table that will delight your taste buds. Enjoy the SPA too!

We ate at the bistro restaurant on the terrace, the gourmet restaurant being closed. Excellent and impeccable service. Very nice place tastefully renovated. The cloister is magnificent, the wooden structure lets light through it is superb.

So me who is used to this kind of comfort, very nice and besides we go back this weekend

Beautiful room and excellent structure. Too bad for meals, very dark dining room and not always satisfying dishes. But maybe it's me that I don't appreciate the novella cousine and I prefer simpler and tastier dishes.

A magnificent place, nothing is missing, everything is perfect.

A magnificent property, a walk in the garden, a delicious meal, impeccable service.
Direction relaxation, perfect massage .
Even if the place makes you want to say that it was very good I point out a big downside ...
The indoor pool was far from clean! And yes the water line was very greasy and dark brown, so not very much want to stay there ... The handlebars of the aqua bikes a little sticky with grease ... And a pity but the underside of the indoor sunbeds does not is not cleaned every day, it was a Sunday the dust was more than present!
I found it a shame to have to go upstairs to quench my thirst between sauna and hammam sessions, that's easy to improve ...
Lack of toilets, you have to go upstairs, the cloakroom is a bit small, we had a closet for two, too bad in view of the prestige of the establishment.
A good moment of relaxation, I recommend.

Not recommended and not 5 star standard !!! Facility (old monastery), although externally beautiful and idyllic location, for what you get but significantly overpriced (suite about 750 / night). Rooms are outdated (furniture wobble and quirks, joints in the bathroom moldy, water pressure low) and very very small, suite is more the size of a regular hotel room, there is no W-Lan at the pool, the breakfast buffet is inadequate, the fitness area is also very small and run down, fresh water in the room is not filled, soap dispensers in the SPA area were always empty, sauna did not work ... and many other small flaws, the hotel in the sum not recommendable.

For the high season 2017, the price of the superior room with views of an interior patio is displayed at 435 excluding breakfast.
The service is really good, as the staff is both discreet and considerate, whether in restaurants or at the reception.
The room itself is correct, with nothing to envy a beautiful cottage. This contrasts sharply with the care taken in the decoration and layout of the common areas of the establishment, including its large patio.
The outdoor pool is nice, and especially very quiet. However, there is no place nearby to change. So crossing the hotel in beach attire, or change in the toilets of the pool. Curious. Finally, arriving at 17 hours by the pool, no more towels available, no staff on site. Spa and untested care.
The restoration is at the height of its reputation. Very nice dinners and breakfasts on a beautiful terrace with views of the Provencal countryside.
Finally in the center of the establishment is the large patio which is covered with a magnificent timber and glass frame. The decoration and furniture are arranged around a small piece of water. When night comes, they help make the place completely magical.
Global appreciation mixed with regard to the room and its rate. Tariff that must support the certainly abysmal expenses of maintenance of such an establishment.

Exceptional. Architecture, deco and spa .... enchanting dinner, sought after and refined. The least: industrial pastries at breakfast and the 11th supplement for fried eggs. Unacceptable. first time you say that on 4 or 5 stars.

Excellent food. A few wrong marks in the service and a dark and poorly appointed room. The choice of furniture and decoration is in my opinion a big failure because it does not convey the image of luxury sought (and expected). Luckily, the very friendly staff made up for it and made our stay very good.
