Really good hotel, close to the beach, food very good and fresh.

Very nice area, close to the sea, food was okay, enough sunbeds, apartments are spacious, a bit worn, but in order and clean.

The hotel is located directly on the beach. The service is super accurate, as is the cleanliness. The food (buffet) is great. There is something for everyone. You can even swim in the Atlantic Ocean in this season. Even in the hotel area the pools are heated. The apartments are also recommended. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous hotel. Very very clean. Food is great. Facilities are everything you could wish for in a hotel.

Were here for the fifth time. This time we were damp. The staff seems to get the management right pressure, very tight no comparison to the years before a shame. That's it then Floresta ...

Everything is very, very good. The food and service are very recommendable. For children there are a lot of activities with very friendly workers. We will come back.

Spotlessly clean. We had a lovely apartment overlooking the quiet pool but the food was a let down and half board was not worth the extra cash for us.

Had a perfect holiday with 3 kids, 7yr, 3yr and 1yr old. August 2018.

The ground floor apartment by the main pool made this holiday. So easy to keep an eye on the kids, feed and change baby and have constant access to the room.

The apt was a good size, narrow but long, with patio, lounge kitchenette, bathroom, main bedroom.

Cleaning was ok a couple of days were missed not sure why this was, possibly a day off but it wasn't a problem as rooms are clean, bright, and well maintained with all mod cons. Good air con, flat screen tv, food blender lots of sockets, etc.

Pool sun loungers were generally available but some days there were too many reserved for too long and the staff removed towels which caused no end of bickering and arguing between the Irish and the Germans.

Animation staff are first class. Never ending activities. Kids disco with big john is world class, youll have to see it to believe it.

Reception is basic but great staff don't keep you waiting.

Car hire was easy and good value.

Dining room staff seemed over worked a bit short, in contrast to all other hotel staff. The food was a little bland for me, not enough fish, or Mediterranean cuisine. Saying that my kids loved it and ate properly every meal, and that is usually a big problem for us.

4 star venue 5 star holiday.

Together with my family, we spent a great holiday. The whole team of 8 people liked it, everyone found a job despite the difference in age. We were at the beginning of July 2018 and apart from three people we were the only Poles. Ok. 2/3 of the hotel is Germany. Even the English were not that many. The rooms are not crazy, but we did not come to vacation to sit in a hotel. When it comes to food, there is a lot of choice, everyone found something for themselves. Very diverse and simply delicious. In the break between meals you could order hamburgers, fries and nuggets. In addition, ice cream was available, a machine with very good coffee and coffee in the afternoon. Although we arrived at 1 am, we were welcomed by a 'welcome committee' of young Germans hanging out at the reception. You can rent a car and visit the entire island in one day. Ok. 3 km away, I recommend the Fund Grube store, where in July there are big sales for designer clothes. Generally stay very enjoyable.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and fly back next summer, the apartment is nice, clean and comfortable, we slept very well in the beds, we felt at home, food good, W-LAN adequate at the Bar and Rezeption.Pool top and enough umbrellas. Highly recommended.

Had three great holidays here. Nice apartments in small blocks. Great food nightly entertainment. On bus route right outside hotel. Nice beach front. Lovely town to visit just a short walk along the prom. Good kids club. Nice walks around hotel

Some thieves that is what waiter work and I split my finger and not Coji the fall for fear that they will throw me out and you know that they threw me out and they did not call me again the martial weather and the director Vicente cheated me but well I just wanted to leave here that these people cheated not to and worthy service if they deceive distort and above all lie to the people who are dying for a job that happened to me working as a waiter and sheet god pay them

Was there just at the opening, after the mandatory closure for all hotels (due to the Covid virus). Completely renovated reception, rooms, restaurant ... The hotel has used the closure to carry out a complete renovation.

Friendly staff and good size rooms. Quiet hotel , good for families and those who like too relax around the pool

We stayed at the Floresta with our family and had a great time! Both the rooms and the grounds were very clean and well maintained. The food was also very good and varied. The staff was very attentive and always open to our questions. Only the use of the pool chairs at the pool was annoying, because a solution should be considered. We can recommend the Floresta with a clear conscience and would check in again at any time.

Clean nice staff nice pool near the beach. With public transport you can make nice and cheap trips on the island. Large outdoor market every Sunday until 2 p.m. in Tequise in the middle of the island.

It a clean, it's a bit rough around the edges. It's a 3 star resort.
The food is ok but nothing else. All the pools are salt water.
Staff where friendly.

All in all nn bad though something of furniture there nn square newly renovated, but the furniture definitely no would need at least a painted .... feels foul odor and fortunately there with 2 seconds of open windows that areggia and beauty nn ce Italian espresso coffee ... and if you don't do the all inclusive and therefore half board you don't even spend the water and it costs you 2 euro half a liter ... I can also agree with drinks and wine but at least water .. ..the salt water pool is beautiful and allows you to see the freezing water of the ocean to bathe whenever it wants .....

The room was renovated. The facility clean. The staff was friendly and eager to please.
Unfortunately, life on the island had also come to a standstill. So most of the shops were still closed. But the beaches were as good as empty. Little traffic and hardly any movement on the promenade.

Everything was OK, food could use variety, grounds were clean, pool was cleaned every day. Sufficient beach chairs available

The best buffet, the worst the attention of a Miss Eva (I remember) at reception and the rooms quite old and old.

Hotel Floresta is an apartment hotel complex in the quieter end of Puerto del Carmen. It is a very attractive three star hotel where we have stayed on a number of occasions.

Location

The large sandy Playa Pocillos beach is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a Spar supermarket across the road from the hotel & a variety of restaurants and shops nearby. On the road just outside the hotel is a bus stop from which buses can be taken to all the main locations in Lanzarote. A taxi rank is also located beside the bus stop.

While the airport by road is 5km away it is only a 2km walk using the very popular and level beachfront walkway. This takes you to the start of the airport runway which attracts many visitors to view the planes flying very low overhead. In the other direction the Casino which is located on the strip is 2km distant while the end of the strip in Puerto del Carmen is 4km away.

Accommodation

The hotel has 242 one & two bedroom apartments. All have air conditioning and central heating. There are good sized bedrooms and spacious living areas. Apartments are well equipped & are well maintained with cleaning service provided five days per week. While we were there this April new curtains & bedspreads were installed and seating areas re-upholstered.
The only area we felt needed improvement was the number of English TV channels which was limited to 3. This was not a great inconvenience to us as we were not really interested in watching TV while on holidays.

Facilities

Large adult and children's pools are located in the main complex while the hotel also has a smaller adult pool & a paddling pool. The main pools are heated in winter. The layout of the pool areas is excellent with plenty of sunbeds which are well spaced out. There is a tennis court, games room, mini golf & children's play park. The standard of maintenance in all areas of the hotel is excellent.
The buffet restaurant has show cooking & themed nights three times a week. We prefer to eat out when on holidays but on the few occasions when we have used the restaurant there was a good choice available in the buffet, quality of the food was good and prices reasonable.
We did not have any children with us but there appears to be good entertainment provided for children. The quality of adult entertainment could be improved. Entertainment finishes at 10.30 while the bar stays open until 12. We have never encountered any problem with noise from the bar area & on the latest occasion were located directly opposite it.
Free WiFi is provided in the lobby area but it is very slow so we did not use it. We have free WiFi with our network provider but if not would have used the hotel's paid WiFi which is available at 19 per week & the signal appeared to be strong.

Summary

Excellent value three star accommodation which is well located close to a large sandy beach, restaurants & shops. Maintenance of all areas of the property is excellent & the pool areas are among the best in Lanzarote. Playa Pocillos is a great place to walk, run or cycle in the quieter part of Puerto del Carmen. At times when we want a bit more action we walk or take a bus or taxi from just outside the hotel

We were 4 days. All perfect. The food is great and everything is very clean.

We are only home after spending a week here.we have stayed in various hotels in Lanzarote and this is by far the best for anyone with children.From staff at reception through to the ladies that clean your every one of them where pleasant and helpful.we had such an amazing time that we have already booked again for next year.

The Hotel Floresta is a wonderful, nice and pleasant hotel. To spend a vacation with family and friends is very good. Apart from the hotel is very nice and good to see.

We stayed at this hotel in September and loved it. The location is great if you want peace and quiet and still don't want to be far from a bit more hustle and bustle.
It is only a few minutes' walk to the beach.
The food was okay - normal buffet standard.
The rooms were very clean and so was the pool.
The staff was always nice and spoke fluent German.

We'd love to come back!

Hotel with good facilities near the beach and an excellent restaurant

This was our 20th visit loved it as much as the first lay back and relax.

The price / performance ratio is right! Location is great.

One of the best 3 star hotels we have visited, clean, nice pool area and food is fine too. Every evening a show, you can also pull back a bit to avoid the hustle and bustle. One tip, the apartments on the 2nd pool are much quieter.

Uncomplicated, clean and lots of space. I lived there with my children in one of the spacious apartments. We particularly liked the lavish breakfast and evening buffets. An unbelievably large culinary offer and a very friendly staff. I can definitely recommend it!

It's great, we've been 15 years ago and we're here again, for something it will be. Thanks for everything.

VERY OLD ROOM FURNITURE, WIFI IS NOT FREE ... TV with BAD antenna signal ... food an AUTHENTIC HORROR, take care more of the English and Germans, schedules and others are made for them ... Good location, yes, very friendly staff, but it is not worth taking the all-inclusive as the snack ends at 4 pm should be until 6 pm ...

Quite central in Puerto del Carmen good rooms and food

I have been there four times with both family and sometimes alone and sometimes with the friends clique..and go back with my best friend this year. The food is not always sooo great but what do you expect for the price. The apartments are spacious and all have a terrace or balcony. You can at least make a cup of coffee or even something brutschindenDie beach is great and the staff is the big phone for many years and I have always met very friendly. As far as the cleanliness is concerned, we have had good and bad experiences, but you can say, then it will be improved immediately. It really depends on what part of the plant you are brought down. 108, for example, is terrible because right on the terrace are the extremely noisy FIlteranlage the kitchen air conditioning but many other corners are nice and quiet but still close to the action. Yes, the food repeats itself after a week, but does one really have to have another buffett every day in three weeks of vacation? You can also pack packed lunches or ask for an extra, as the staff really tried. Even when our son had his birthday he got a small cake with his name a nicely decorated birthday breakfast table and we adults a bottle of sparkling wine ... and all without extra charge or we would have asked for it. Conclusion: If you are looking for a cheap chill holiday or want to go with the family without being poor, is very well accommodated there .... for all the others .... Turkey has just meeeeega much free and there is a bombshell ;-)

Excellent treatment, both from Ruth at the reception, and from Blas and the rest of the colleagues in the bar and restaurant. Clean room, spaced hammocks and with daily disinfection. We had a little problem and they always tried to find solutions. The animation and the performances, very good.

Rooms are good, the staff is nice and speaks relatively good German, but the disadvantage is definitely the Internet, the free wireless at the front desk reached underground 64 kbit / s, the paid Wi-Fi is with 20 per week and device, so already 40 If you are traveling with a smartphone and a laptop, it is far too expensive. This is definitely not up to date

Very clean apartments, friendly service, good food, quiet place.

Food,staff and pool was great. Very clean rooms. Family friendly as bar closes at 11pm. Kids entertainment was OK. Adults entertainment wasn't great
Great holiday had by 13 of us.

Great holiday park with beautiful houses and apartments. Great garden with rare cacti, beautiful swimming pool with children's pool, and most importantly, it is clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff and a 24-hour counter staff who speak their languages well. We have never seen this before on the Canary Islands. The park is located near the beach and a 7 km walk from the center of Puerto del Carmen.

Basic apartments but so clean and not to far away from restaurant and bars like some . Food is average but location ideal . Found the reception staff amazing particularly a curly haired lady who swapped our room immediately when I felt something wasn't right . All in all good .

The resort is spacious, rooms are nice with firm beds, air conditioning and a balcony.
The pool is large, and there are enough beds available.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are good, the food is different every day, choice is good.
Although the resort is in a quiet part of Puerto Del Carmen, the busier part is great to walk, or to reach by taxi for a few euros.
The staff speak English well, are friendly and think along.
We enjoyed it very much and can definitely recommend a visit to Floresta.

Nice apartment complex with three swimming pools. Within two minutes you are on the beach. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes in the area, main street of Puerto del Carmen, a 20 minute walk (5 minutes by taxi)

Not too busy during this period. Fairly good food. No towel laying at the pool, plenty of sun beds. Supermarket around the corner.

Horrible experience with reception staff. Only seemed interested in catering for the German clientele. One male receptionist thought it wise to to scold my 9 year old son because my son didn't use the proper utensil for serving fries. My son was really upset. I brought it up with the so called manager who implied I and my son made up the allegation. Useless management. And rude and iggnorant reception staff.
