I was excited to stay in the Kristal as I had heard great things about this place. But those great things must have happened ages ago. Satu Lagi Bar is different and lost all of its charm. The food is mediocre. The room is dated. The grounds could use some refreshing. But I what it lacks in age and charm, it normalizes by its cafe food in the second building. The gym is also decent.

Over all. Not an impressive place but not terrible either. A very average stay that will make due.

More suited for business stays

Bedroom is very spacious, the bed is really comfortable, clean, and it have small kitchen. Swimming pool also nice and clean. The food from dinner buffet is not too vary but okay for 185K (incl discount 20%) but not include beverages. From the buffet fried rice and fried noodle is not good enough, very dry and bland. The pastry and sushi is quite good. Staff are polite and friendly. From my stay, I love the room and pool but for the foods, just average.

Strategic Hotel Location. Comfortable hotel, clean and big rooms.

Been there for my company event. I like the buffet during lunch and dinner. The food are various and have great taste. It is a mixed business hotel/family hotel and some people bring their families there. Kids will love the swimming pool and play garden. The room is spacious like apartment. For moslems, you can find the parayer room in the basement area and they also conduct Friday Prayer.

The restaurant really good. They have swimming pool, gymnasium and hairdressing salon. Really a right place for busy and mobile people.

We have celebrated my uncle's birthday party here. The staff is pretty helpful and friendly, the food is average but decent. The venue is ok but the audio is not too good. I cam't comment about the rooms yet because I didn't stay overnight there. But overall a nice place.

If you want a perfectly reasonable Hotel in South Jakarta the Kristal is perfect. Comfortable, easy, decent pub (if not a bit smoky) and excellent breakfast. The room rates make many of the 'business' hotel in the Jakarta CBD look ridiculous (which they are). Getting in an out can be a bit of a pain but that just requires some planning.

First time staying at Hotel Kristal was pleasant. We took the 3 Bedroom Suite.
The place is spacious, clean and very comfortable to live in, even though we got a smoking room, even though at the beginning we had asked for non-smokes. The WiFi is really fast.
The bathroom is clean although the bathtub in our room for water disposal is not very smooth. (enter to be repaired)
The kitchen is quite spacious, there is a microwave, electric stove, toster oven, cutlery etc. Unfortunately it is not equipped with a rice cooker.
The breakfast is good and many choices. For us, with 3 teenagers, it is more than enough with a variety of food choices.
We are satisfied to stay here. Next ... we will definitely order this Crystal hotel.
