If Old World luxury is your thing, this is the place. Historical 5 stars hotel in the very center of Athens, opposite parliament and home to big political gatherings and demonstrations.
Very well connected, with the metro station just outside the hotel's door, it is the best starting point to explore the near posh and less posh shopping areas.
The hotel is elegant in a discrete way, difficult to find these days. You can use the pools or enjoy the best view in Athens (the Akropolis), especially in the night, in the roof garden bar.

We just went to the bar for a drink, the experience was very pleasant with very opulent surrounds. The staff were not the most welcoming but the service apart from this was good, it is a beautiful hotel.

Gorgeous stunning hotel. I was upgraded to their VIP concierge level (private area for VIP and platinum guests) and the deluxe suite. The suite was gorgeous and beautiful laid out. I had a view to a side street and all of life passed through that alley way which was great to see especially in the middle of Athens. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with a priceless view of the Acropolis and the food was fresh and mouth watering,
All staff in the hotel were very professional, caring and helpful. During my stay I decided to take a photo of the parliament which is across the street upon the hill at night and a refugee decided to stab me 3 times as he tried to mug me. The hotel door men and the shocked night staff bandaged my wounds and make sure I was safe till paramedics and the police arrived.

Wonderful hotel. I would return to Athens and I would stay here again,

This is likely to be one of the best hotels where you have stayed. The rooms are not large, but they are very attractive and comfortable.

The rooftop restaurant is mostly open on three sides. The food is brilliant for dinner, but they also have a 1st rate breakfast buffet. The view is exquisite. You can see the Acropolis, the surrounding hills, and the sea.

The hotel is considered the best in the world. There is a Spa, and the service is 1st rate. The location, near the parliament building and the changing of the guard is very convenient. What's not to like?

This is our 2nd time here, and we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

this hotel is beautiful! everything about this hotel is 5 star! they treat you as if you are royalty! The rooms are amazing and very stunning! we stayed for 2 nights are before our tip home and it was worth every penny we paid! They have the most amazing view from the restaurant! you can see the parthenon and enjoy anytime during the day or night! Waking up to have breakfast was just magically. the sun rise over the parthenon is out of a story! They are situated in great proximity to everything! you can enjoy shopping or dining and can walk to almost everything!!

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and luxurious. The staff extremely friendly and well trained. We had a very nice suite with a large balcony.
Points are deducted for not complying with the corona rules (mask and distance) specified by the hotel. Whether in the lobby, at dinner or breakfast: you are constantly in unwanted contact with people who do not wear a face-to-face mask. The staff ignores it.

We would come again outside of the corona time.

Great location. Good service. May be a bit stiff and formal for some but I like it. Beautiful view of the Acropolis from its top floor restaurant. Stunning for those arriving at night and having breakfast there for the first time. Efficient doorman that will handle your car parking needs. Nice cigar bar. Excellent spa.

I myself in this hotel did not live, but came to the clients for brunch or a drink with friends at the
Classic style, everything is thought out and somewhat ponderously, as we imagine entourage Great Britain Churchill (sorry for the few flat comparison)
Expensive, of course, but it is - the most famous flagship historic 5-star hotel in Athens. And such reputation and history are interesting to many))

One of the most expensive and luxurious hotels in Athens. In the heart of Athens, located at Syntagma square. The access is easy especially by using the tube. Many options around the hotel for night life, brunch, lunch and shopping. The hotel itself serves delicious but expensive food. The service is one of the best i have ever had, people are polite and friendly. The reception is impressive and always with fresh flowers.

From a person who travels a lot, this is everything you can want from a hotel. Located in the heart of Athens, it is central to all attractions and public transportation. The service is OUTSTANDING and the food is amazing. Clean, comfy rooms and great shower.... this will definitely be my choice hotel when I return in the future.

Extremely slow Service. From the time that we was sit on the table menu arrived 10 min later. We order coffees one orange juice and 3 baskets mix breakfast pastries.
The coffees arrived after 25 min.... the pastries after 20 min.... the orange juice never came. We had to relocate the waitress and to remind her that we still missing the orange juice.
Another issue was pastries.... honest first time I see to be served Danish and Chocolate du pain squeezed with muffins and toast breads. The Danish was flat because was squeezed..........
Greek Coffee was jot acceptable the color was light and the kaimaki on top was not exist.... bad product bad service and poor quality. I paid 100 euro for 6 coffees and 1 orange juice and low quality Danish......
All the concept need improvement.

A beautiful hotel, with a nice little pool as well. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very nice, especially Christian P. and all the other staff who successfully mailed me some important forgotten articles.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The service is a stand-out. The staff are all genuinely friendly. Views from the rooftop restaurant are outstanding. We had a room with a view of the Acropolis. Be careful- the Acropolis is a a few km away so you need to go on the balcony to see it. Don't expect to see it from your room.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Perfectly situated right in the centre, with stunning views of the Acropolis if you pay a bit extra. I loved the roof-top bar and restaurant, where I had some of the best cocktails I've ever tried (but the price did reflect that) and a superb dinner. The service was impeccable and the staff friendly and informative. I would definitely stay there again.
