Looked like an eastern state hotel..that was breakfast good..the room was ok but the bathroom was not good at all ... however, is central and friendly staff ...

Unfortunately, I expected more from the single rooms of the highest category. Our guests from Singapore would be only partially satisfied.
Biggest drawback was the not working W-Lan in the room. This is really not contemporary. And the information from the front desk "the hotel is too full" not acceptable.
Carpet unfortunately already very stained and leaking shower door, so that the bathroom after showering was "flooded". Size of room and TV compared to other houses below average.
One, however, is always perfect:

For 125 EUR and 4 * I expect a much better breakfast. In addition, both the cup of my place setting had a coffee edge and crumbs were in the milk jug. It was just before nine and all tables were occupied, so it was very noisy. Guests had to queue to get a seat. For the money you will definitely get more elsewhere.

Nice staff, great location, downtown is within easy reach, also on foot. Is already a bit older, but the price is right.

Nice hotel with modern and well-kept rooms, great breakfast buffet and nice spa area.

It s not the newest or poshest hotel in the area but it has a really nice relaxed feel to it and it s great value. Check out the piano bar which when I stayed had a pianist every night.

Nice city hotel in a very good location to the main station. 30 meters walk across the street. We especially liked the Eurotherme with a nice pool. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The info stand at the front desk helps friendly and competent in organizing the Hamburg activities. There are also for hotel guests discounted tickets for city tours or harbor tours. Price performance of the hotel is ok for Hamburg.

Practical and central location, will definitely be back in June ..

We were completely satisfied except for one point. We had an irregular rumbling noise in our room. It could have been the elevator or the train.

Good location at station. Breakfast fine. Room too. Beds were a bit hard. Bathroom was clean, I never get sucked under bed.

Great location in front of the train station and near city center. Clean and fairly big rooms. Very good food.

The hotel is right in front of the main station and it is much better that you might imagine. Everything from breakfast to the wellness area is absolutely perfect. You can enjoy a delicious and very rich breakfast in a nice scenery, looking at the rushing city outside whilst you are reading your morning newspaper or working at your laptop (like me!). The rooms are big and comfortable, bathroom new and clean. Great beds and everything really! There is even a smoking room for the guests. The hotel may need some refurbishment, but everything that could be done, is done.. the best way possible! Staff kind and helpful. Thank you and see you again!

Problems with connecting WiFi in my room. I heard that will be taken care of, and that the system will be upgraded.

Very convenient location in front of Hamburg Central Station. There is no problem as there is a room too wide and a lot of equipments. It is also appreciated that a taxi is waiting in front of the hotel. Breakfast is very varied and excellent. It is a pity that the Internet is somewhat unstable, minus one star.

Excellent location (2 min) opposite the Hauptbahnhof. Nice staff at reception, large single room with good standard. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. 3-day ticket to all public transport in the city - a happy surprise. However, he did not visit their popular spa.

From the front desk to the departure everything was excellent, a very nice aufgetischtes breakfast, the staff obliging and always friendly.
We will definitely be back, this was our third visit to their house and always recommend it to friends.

It is in heart of city, across the main train station and very close to restaurants, also you can get free ticket from reception you stay for public transportation, it is clean and good breakfast they have...

Great hotel, best location, longest Wssserrutsche of Europe! The Lange Reihe and St. Georg are around the corner, great service, amazing breakfast buffet.

Just a great overall package. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. There was a 3-day ticket for overnight stay and the possibility to store the suitcase on the day of departure. The spa area with several saunas, waterslide, swimming pool and jacuzzi was great and the breakfast was delicious!

Everything good. I could not try welnnes but the rest has passed the exam.

Good hotel with minor flaws such as partly noisy and old-fashioned rooms. Positive are the pool and the bar to mention. The location is unbeatable.

I do not know why the hotel has 4 stars. Room very noisy, very small and no air conditioning. Euro Therme to the spa to say I think it's a bit over the top.

The location is excellent. Hotel looks a bit stiff. Average age 60. What they need to change DIRECTLY is the open smoking area. You can smell the cigarette air throughout the hotel. Bah!

Good communication before arrival. Possibility to set aside luggage before check-in and access free use of public transport along with stay.

Basically well used for decades.
However, the premises show in places unsightly signs of wear such as.
Ceiling of the corridor to the rooms 260 ff.

In the bathroom several Schimmeelestellen in the corner under the washbasins, on the silicone seal the bathtub and right-intensively under the right bathing water inlet. Desgl. at the sealing lip of the shower door of the bathtub, mixed with lime.
In the former breakfast area EC with former (disassembled) beverage well the original areas for the breakfast buffet with wall paint painted ugly chipboard or construction boards in the corners primitive clad.
The breakfast is only asked, if you want coffee, it is not a reference to the self-service tea, no reference to available coffee specialties such as cappuccino.
The breakfast plates stacked together with the cutlery until the end of breakfast on the table too small.
All this has already been considerably better and hospitable.

I was very happy to spend a whole day in the hotel. I wanted to try the water slide before. Unfortunately, two injured guests came towards me who said they had messed with the slide. Then the courage was gone. I tried playing the golf simulator instead. But then the projector was so adjusted that you couldn't see where you were playing and the staff was so new that they couldn't help that day. (I didn't have to pay the simulator for that). The sauna area was nice, but the plunge pool was covered. There was an open fire for this.
The room was clean, but both bathroom and furniture from the 90s. Unfortunately, the internet was also very slow, so I used my cell phone. The staff was generally friendly, but seemed rather unmotivated. The breakfast tables were cleared rather slowly in the early morning of my departure.
I've been there twice before and actually always happy, this time not like that, but it was related to the fact that a large part of the staff was probably changed ...
Too bad, I'll probably try something different next time ...

A nice hotel in itself. Our room was relatively well furnished, a bathtub was available as requested and a very nice view of Hamburg. Unfortunately, our WiFi didn't work, and so did the screen mirroring - so we called the reception, they only gave us the password for the next room ... so important functions were no longer available. In addition, our windows were not the newest, they were leaking. We turned the heat on full and the room was still very cold. We were frozen. In addition, our double bed consisted of two single beds, we always had to get up and move them back together. An additional annoying factor was that some employees tried to enter the room several times when we were there, despite the padlock.

For the high price I expected more.

So on the whole I actually liked it, but if you want to the sauna area around 10 o'clock or fitness area (which according to statement of 7-22 o'clock opened) and since no soul finds, you get it very funny, it was not More

Very nice days in the European yard we go for several years always with our relatives here and it has a very nice location right on the train it can only recommend the small bad reviews do not understand is just great nothing to improve

Very good four stars hotel, with very high price for money!
The hotel has a very nice indoor pool where you can relax very well. The rooms are clean and nice.
Once it is an old building, the corridors are a bit winding.
But the rooms, which do not look to the train station are very quiet.
The restaurant is very "down to earth", offers typical North German cuisine.
All in all, a very good "four star hotel" in a very good location: subway on the doorstep, Alster and Rathausplatz in less than 10 minutes walking distance.

The hotel wants to call itself a 4-star hotel, but doesn't have Nutella for breakfast?!?
In addition, the room, especially the bathroom, must be. Sometimes the curtains are so dirty that they can stand up on their own.
The room (mine, at least) hasn't been renovated in nineteen hundred and twelve. If you want a really good hotel that is worth its price, you should go to the Hanseport.

ADDENDUM: Well, after another day, I changed my rating from two to one star. The staff is extremely unfriendly, so I was almost yelled at and sent away when I asked for soft-boiled eggs. Even after asking several times, I didn't get this. In addition, almost everything at the breakfast buffet was empty, the excuse was that can happen with 400 guests . Bullshit. When you have 400 guests as a hotel you have to adjust to it and at least try to master the logistical effort. I feel like I am in a 2 star hotel with partly beautiful rooms.

The hotel lacks renovation, so the price and quality are related. It was a sour and not very welcoming receptionist who accepted. Quality is lacking in cleaning. The breakfast is very industrialized.

A great welcome and not only at the front desk but already at the garage. The guys are super friendly, welcome you by name and park your car. Even the basic rooms are good and have a huge TV. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. I always like to come here.

Advertised as a 4-star hotel, it is at best a 3-star property. The convenient location and good breakfast save this hotel from a 1-star review.

While the room was OK, it felt quite dated, and would benefit from a renovation or update. The level of service was rather poor, and I did not really feel welcomed as a guest by most of the staff on their respective shifts (except for the breakfast staff who were lovely).
When I said goodbye, there was not even a friendly, or any reply back from the staff, which left a rather unpleasant impression.

Tip- room better not in the direction of the train station.

It was several years ago when I last stayed at the European Court. It has changed a lot for the better. The only disturbing for me - and the hotel can only partly what - the construction work directly below my room have been. This has shortened my sleep one day. The rooms themselves are functional and highlight is especially the relaxation area with the animal-long slide and a small but fine sun terrace.

A great private hotel where you can really feel the personality! The loving, very hospitable details in the hotel room! Finally a wall hook, shelves where they make sense, very comfortable beds, very high quality, fluffy linen ...
Huge, very well-kept wellness area, for relaxation in the most central location of Hamburg in the trendy St. Georg district. Overwhelming breakfast buffet! What a selection, almost impossible to overlook what is offered here in the best quality for breakfast. Very committed, young team at the hotel bar that knows how to serve delicious drinks.

It was expensive
Front desk wasn't particularly nice.
Food was expensive and the potatoes were old and rancid.
The pool was freezing and the slide was not working, as was the jacuzzi.
On the whole, it wasn't reasonable for the price.

I always stay at Europeischer Hof, use the pool, and enjoy the location. I also get very good follow up by Frau Dirksen, and the front desk team. They are all very good.
