Nice hotel with very good breakfast and a very nice pool and spa area with 4 different saunas

Staff, breakfast, room cleanliness, pool really great. The decor of the room is old does not fit the other part of the hotel.

It is very convenient next to Hamburg Central Station and the hotel itself is not bad. It's near the Hamburg Central Station. It's good and convenient.

A pleasant hotel. Traditional and appealing. Our double room was spacious, even the single room was a good size. Pluses are the swimming pool, and the cozy bar. The breakfast buffet is a 4 star hotel accordingly. On Saturday there was an almost uncomfortable crowd at the buffet, which was also for guests, for the "back up" does not count ..... It was also difficult to find a free table in the breakfast rooms. Convenient was that for us on Sunday a reserved table was provided, as we had a freshly operated on the eyes of the person for whom the crowd was unreasonable.

The location is very convenient, the hotel is large, the breakfast is rich, the waiter is ok, can enjoy the hotel facilities, including the spa. Unfortunately, I am alone, prefer to go out and take pictures! No chance to try.

Asked for room towards the train station and got it ... 160 euros for nicely large double room (corner room 517 with good view) as a single room which was OK price. Large hotel with supposedly 275 rooms so presumably More

Excellent hotel. Very helpful staff. Lovely rooms. Fantastic breakfast. Paulaner "pub" connected to hotel for good beer and delicious white sausages served with sweet mustard and giant pretzels. Location couldn't be better as the hotel is opposite the main station. You also get a free 3 day pass for all public transport, including the 62 ferry that takes you round the harbour.

Nice hotel, very centrally located at the main station. Nice service and cozy bar inside. Room is equipped with mini bar. Parking spaces must be reserved in advance and cost 22. No other parking spaces can be found in the area. Unfortunately, you won't find this if you book through another booking portal, as there is only parking space available.

Incredibly friendly service and excellent location. No street and railway station noise. The wellness center just troops it up.

Due to a break in my train connection, the DB put me at this hotel at midnight.

If you look at the volume, which is available near the station, a great starting point for all Hamburg activities. No air conditioning in our room

The hotel was just great. The only criticism could be the lack of air conditioning lead, but with thoughtful ventilation and the fan in the room that was to get a handle. A few swimming in the pool in the spa area helped a lot.
The location is very central behind the main train station.
Tip: If you arrive by car, you should early book a parking space in the hotel car park.
The breakfast was good and rich and, most importantly, the staff always friendly and very successful in finding solutions. Thus spoke to our hair dryer in the room very early on the temperature protection. Within a short time we had a replacement in the room.
Also, you can book tickets for a variety of events at the reception, without having to queue at the cashier.
Will we come back? Sure, of course!
Is the hotel recommended? In any case.
Another tip: If you book online on the hotel page, you will save 5 euros per night.

Dir Bar is a great location to have a drink or two in the evening

Nice hotel. After problems with the room, a change was completely uncomplicated. Very friendly staff.

The European Court is a private hotel. The location at the main station is great and nan gets a free ticket for public transport. It also has a large spa with waterslide, sauna, sports equipment and relaxing treatments.
The staff is friendly and competent. The hotel even offers a concierge service.
The breakfast is free and really top notch.
In short: the value for money is right.

The rooms are clean, you can easily reach anything in Hamburg, also by foot. Since it's on the opposing side of the Main train station you can easily come by train. I am here for the second time and I love to come back here whenever :)

WIFI in rooms is almost non-existent. That WAS a major problem for me. Also, would like to see coffee set up in room.

This is the third time that I come to this and I hope to be able to come back from here can all is very well continue like this

A tip from my dad. He was already housed here from work in 1999/2000. Still very wonderful. Central location, clean and quiet room, great breakfast buffet and fair price-performance ratio. Very competent and friendly concierge! We will be back and recommend.

Spa closed, pool closed, fitness closed. Lots of noise and shouting at night from the street clientele and no air conditioning, so hard to sleep in the heatwave without opening windows. Sweet service and fine breakfast. Good garage for the car.

Very satisfied as always. Good breakfast, good service and superzenttale location opposite the HB and everywhere uncomplicated S-Bahnverbindunen. Never need your own vehicle in the village. Stay during our stay in the hotel's underground car park.

Good relatively cheap hotel very centrally located at the train station (but away from St. George). Delicious extensive breakfast buffet and great swimming pool with water slide!

Only the most necessary in the room was made. The curtains were not opened and the used glasses were not washed off and the empty bottles were not disposed of. In the bathroom there is mold in the shower fan and the edges of the shower look very dirty. By the way, we were in room 257!

The breakfast buffet *** (great until 12 o'clock) is arranged unfavorably ... at peak times there are waiting times and queues ...

If e.g. 6 guests are waiting for scrambled eggs, omelets ... they stand in front of the butter and the rolls. The employees fill up ... but don't have a lot of things in view. There is no horseradish with the salmon, no honey mustard ... otherwise everything is okay.

Conveniently located at the main train station in Hamburg. Very nice room. Price is a little bit higher. Usually there is a thermal bath and slide, but closed due to covid-19. Instead of a buffet, there were plate dishes for breakfast. Which I personally found really good. You don't have a customer who tackles any goods with your fingers and throws them back. Dear host, get rid of your buffet and keep it up. We will definitely come back.

We have 8 nights in the hotel European court, great breakfast, fresh and delicious. Room clean, bathroom clean. Service just great every wish is feasible fulfilled. Suitcases are taken from the train if you want it. We will always come back. Thank you very much the whole team

We came by car and felt well looked after from the first moment. The employee who picked up the car at the in-house garage was very friendly and explained everything in detail. Then we went to the reception, where we were warmly welcomed.

Our room was a standard room. Everything was clean, the room was quite spacious with a large shower. We looked at the theater, which we found very pleasant. We didn't use the TV, but if you need it, you should be happy with the size. There is a mini-bar, but we didn't need it either. There were also two welcome bottles of still water that were on the table for free. I found that very attentive. There was a fan in the closet (as the rooms are not air-conditioned). But since it wasn't that hot anymore in September, we didn't need it.

The bed is a double bed, which can also be pushed apart if necessary (has castors underneath). But since we love each other, the bed stayed together :-). In general, the bed was super comfortable for us (one of the best I've ever been able to experience in a hotel). We slept like babies. When the window is closed you don't notice anything from outside, although the hotel is in a great central location directly opposite the main train station. We had the window tilted at night because we need fresh air. But we are not particularly sensitive to noise either.

The buffet breakfast (despite Corona!) Was awesome. The cappucino from the fully automatic machine blew my mind (this heavenly foam ...). Especially the fresh and juicy omelette that I got freshly baked in the pan according to my own wishes (with tomato and mushrooms, hmm, delicious). Many thanks to the staff member there who prepared it for me with so much love and friendliness. There are different rolls and types of bread. Muesli, corn flakes and yogurt. Fruit as a salad or in the original (as nature created it). Freshly cut cucumber and tomato. Eggs in various forms, bacon, sausages and meatballs. Dozens of different types of sausage, cheese and spreads, butter and margarine, honey (fresh from the honeycomb or packaged), jam, fresh juices and mineral water. You can pull the coffee out of the machine or you can get filter coffee from the pot. Different types of tea complete the range of drinks. Finally, you can have fresh waffles baked or take a piece of cake. A real breakfast dream. If I have forgotten something from the offer (which is not unlikely, since there is just so much going on), I would like to apologize at this point. :-)

The employees were all (without exception!) Super-nice and courteous. If you had requests or concerns, these were implemented almost immediately, depending on feasibility.

I found the ambience pleasant. Visually, this hotel does not belong to the super-modern. But I think that the balancing act between traditional house and modernity has been successful. I felt safe and in good hands (unlike in all these soulless glass palaces, which are sprouting up like mushrooms today and quickly disappearing again).

Great: If you book here, you get a three-day ticket for local public transport (also far beyond the city area).

The next time we come, we will also use the spa area. We are already really looking forward to it.

Very nice hotel. We had a large room with a huge bathroom. The beds are more than comfortable, I haven't slept so well for a long time.

The breakfast is exceptional. The spa and the saunas make an extremely good impression, although unfortunately I could not use them myself for lack of swimwear (next time ...).

Nice hotel with nice and very clean rooms. Very large and fine breakfast buffet and the location right next to the main train station is perfect. Your system of both luggage storage after check-out and free public transport is perfect.
What I did not like was the staff at the bar, also in view of the fact that they also serve people in your lounge area. During our stay there might well have been one more to serve the customers while we were there, because we waited quite a long time for both service and payment, and had we not had to wait long it could have been that we had ordered an extra round

The hotel and the service overall we liked it very much. We had booked rooms which were not to reach the elevator. That was no problem. The heavy suitcases were brought to the rooms by the hotel service. The breakfast was very sufficient and much. There should be something for everyone. Due to the central location, which was good on the one hand, the rooms were a bit noisy. The suitcases we could after the check out until the final departure in the hotel store.

All right, as always. Only the shower fittings should be thoroughly rehabilitated. Setting the temperature was hardly possible, so hard was the controller operate.

Swimming pool and sauna area are very nice. Advantage also included in the price HVv ticket. The Grand Hotel is an old style hotel - which also applies to the rooms. Two star deduction because of no air conditioning and the station environment.

Super clean rooms very spacious and lovingly decorated, delicious breakfast buffet which is absolutely recommended and meets every taste. The location is perfect for tourists as you only have to cross the street and you are at the main train station.

Due to a canceled event by Corona, I just phoned the hotel and asked for goodwill regarding my booked room, I didn't want my money back (which would not have been possible due to the booking modalities) but at least a voucher so that I can get the room again can use if the event takes place again.

NO CHANCE, you are happy to pocket 200.00 euros WITHOUT even meeting the guest.

The hotel was fine and we used the spa department too. However, we will not buy the treatments another time, but the hotel's location means that I would like to stay there again.

If you are a smoker, they have a smoking lounge, which is great. The people that work at the hotel, are super nice, and service minded. The food at the restaurant is great as well. Traditionel german food.
