Great hotel opposite the Hamburg main station. It is recommended to keep the windows closed at night, as it can get very noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The offered drinks at the bar were very carefully prepared with cozy piano music. The rooms are 4-star standard. Very clean and well maintained.
A great experience: water slide in the courtyard, nice rooms, fresh and rich breakfast. From the balcony of the sauna landscape you can look directly into the alleys of St. George, where you can take a look at the homeless, drug addicts and prostitutes while you are having a good time. Insane.

Nice, contemporary hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The processes work smoothly. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and everything is always fresh. Only the fresh plates had one or the other residue from the previous meal, so were at most 99% clean. The spa is relatively large and the slide (almost too fast) - but makes for fun! All in all a good place to stay for a city trip to Hamburg. Thanks to their central location, all destinations can be reached quickly by train or bus. Gladly again!

This was my 9th business trip to Hamburg in as many months and this is unfortunately the worst accommodation I have stayed in.
Starting with the positives, the staff are lovely and the breakfast is quite good. These positives however do not outweigh the room quality. The rooms were unacceptable in my opinion (and I do not have high expectations when it comes to accommodation). I was not concerned by how dated the room was (the carpets and furniture are very old and heavily stained which may deter some people), but the smell, heat and noise are what I found to be unacceptable.
Smell - upon arrival I assumed I had been given a smoking room by mistake as the smell was so overwhelmingly pungent. I went back to reception and was advised that there are no smoking rooms. There was no remediation possible, each night of my stay I had to go to the hotel, open the window, and leave for an hour to allow the smell to dissipate; it by no means eradicated it, but it was at least manageable. Looking around the room there is signage requesting customers not to empty their ash tray into the waste paper bin so my assumption of the smell is that the carpets / furnishings have not been changed since the time when it was a smoking room and the smell has lingered ever since.
Heat - the hotel is not air conditioned or sufficiently ventilated. They provided a desktop fan which I was able to put on the coffee table to circulate air but it merely circulated hot air and I repeatedly woke up covered in sweat.
Noise - this would not have been an issue if the heat was not so bad, but the heat meant I had to open the window, and the outside noise from opening the window was significant. My room was not facing the central station as others have commented however the noise levels were still high, particularly in the early morning.
Overall, I had minimal sleep during my 3 nights here which is far from ideal for a business trip. I would encourage visitors to stay in one of the many other hotels in the city as I have not had the issues above with any other hotel in Hamburg.
The hotel is attractive to the station, if you arrive by train. The staff friendly, the breakfast buffet was very extensive.
Negative was the lack of air conditioning in the room. The night was like a sauna, because the little fan did not help.

I think it's a shame that you can only use the pool until 12 o'clock on the day you check out. I've never seen that in a hotel. Otherwise you have to pay 10 p.p. numbers.

For the second time I was allowed to stay in this great hotel. It is absolutely ideal for discovery tours in Hamburg and even more so if you arrive by train.
The support from the staff was absolutely perfect at all times (good support from the concierge when purchasing tickets) and the free use of public transport with the room pass is terrific.
The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is extremely rich.
It was a bit of a shame this year that there were problems with the WiFi in my room (it didn't work for half the time of my stay). This was annoying because I always had to go to the lobby to look up something for my activities in Hamburg.
Unfortunately, the elevator in the wellness area didn't work for the entire duration of the stay. This was a bit of a hassle for me because I had an injured foot and the spiral staircase was therefore not ideal.
But the two massages we enjoyed were absolutely great!
I will be happy to stay at this hotel again.
Great location! Great gym with plenty of choice. The room is large and clean. A little noise from the central station but it is clear that you have.
Very nice hotel in a prime location. Have booked it for a city trip with musical visit. From here you can explore the city on foot or use the nearby public transport. Very friendly and helpful staff and great service. Very good breakfast and good tips for surrounding restaurants. The rooms are nicely decorated and quiet, despite the city center. Value for money is great. Clear recommendation!

Great luxurious hotel! Service is very accommodating, professional and discreet. Even with children you are welcome here. For a musical weekend in Hamburg the best place to relax. The location, one minute walk from the Haputbahnhof is perfect. From leaving the aircraft at the airport to bedroom in about 30 minutes. Personally, I am used to sleeping completely in the dark. The room could not be completely darkened with the curtain. The street light from outside seemed very bright in this room to my mind. However, I am certainly an exception, as I am very sensitive to light.

Actually everything would be wonderful, if it weren't for the chicane with the WiFi: you need a separate user code + password for each device. However, these are only valid for 24 hours. You have to re-enter the codes every time you use your laptop e.g. closed briefly or left the house. There is no way to save the codes. And sometimes the WiFi doesn't work ...

Location, cleaning, breakfast, service friendliness, the rooms, parking conditions, everything is top to a number 5. The reservation system of rooms and in-house restaurant Paulaner draws the overall impression net to a 4 figure.

Not a pleasant experience. The room is small and had a twin bed which was not at all comfortable. The room service seem to get worse each day. But the worst was the fact that we had no WiFi (they said that they were upgrading).

Room furniture and carpet already got a bit old. Very bad is the room temperature in the heat. No air conditioning, just a small fan, is a big minus for a 4 star hotel. You could at least install ceiling fans and shutters (exterior blinds) with sunscreen use.
This hotel deserves its four stars. The room is clean, friendly staff, sauna area was included, breakfast was delicious and massage was great.
Still, I have to subtract 2 stars. We booked a room with a beautiful view and a double bed. The view was nice, but room number 266 was in the far corner, next to an emergency exit with feathers on the floor. We got lost very often when we wanted to go to the sauna and breakfast area. It was also very difficult for us to sleep, you could hear all the noise from outside ... People walked, vehicles drove constantly ... The bed was very hard, it is not suitable for cuddling, as you either squeeze on 1 bed part together had to or had to move the 2 single beds back together. The furniture and the color of the furniture wasn't mine either, but that's a matter of taste.
The only criticism that I ahbe is that at the breakfast buffet at the bakery were no names. everything else great
Stayed here for one night. Overall was the staff really nice and helpful. Bug brekkie, with different foods. Big selection of coffee and tea, and they have soy and lactose free milk. Points for that. You get a free ticket for transport, which is awesome! That's a plus, and as a guest you can use their spa facilities free. Nice pool, and a lot of seating areas. Overall a really nice stay. Plus the central station is right across from the hotel, and the inner part if the city is close as well.
We really liked it again. We would like to thank the entire staff, for the best holiday trip. We look forward to the next visit

By far the biggest disappointment we have had while touring Europe for a month. This is a 1 star hotel. It's utterly horrible from check in to escape.

The location right at the main train station is of course ideal for getting anywhere quickly. The price also includes a 3-day ticket for local transport in Hamburg. So you can reach everything very easily. Nice wellness area (Eurotherme) with a great slide that can be reached by elevator. An absolute highlight for children! Also very nice: an in-house smoker's lounge with a view of the main train station.

When we sleep in Hamburg we like to sleep here. The staff is friendly. Service Top. The car is driven into the garage. The breakfast is great and there is a huge selection. There's something for everyone. And there are always delicious little cakes there.
The rooms are clean and big. If you arrive with baby or toddler, it is possible to get a bed.
At the bar, piano is played on several evenings. There you can sit down comfortably, listen to the music and enjoy a cocktail or many other drinks. All in all, we feel well cared for here.
