From the room you can hear the noise of cars and elevators
I asked to change rooms, they told me yes and then they called me that they didn't have one and they never told me anything else. How is it possible such an expensive hotel does not have noise-insulating glass in such a noisy city? The air conditioning cannot be regulated in the room.

I love their hotels but on my last trip to this on...

I love their hotels but on my last trip to this one in particular, I felt from the security staff upon my arrival a bit of classism on their part since the mobility I hired was parked in front of the hotel and a of the staff people and he asks me to leave the front of the hotel and then he asks me again since he sees that they were handing me my suitcase and he asks me if I have a reservation and I answer yes of course! I come from the Hilton in Paracas and I made a reservation in this one for work reasons. The man looks me from head to toe and asks me again and says "You have a reservation at the Pardo Double Tree by Hilton with an incredulous and burlesque face and again I confirm that yes and you just take the data and go to confirm.
Honestly, I have stayed many times in various countries in their hotels and I have never experienced something like that, it seemed something qualifying actually since I was in sportswear and I think that should not matter. My wife was upset by that since that never happened to us anywhere and in Lima Peru it did.
I recommend not judging people or discriminating in a certain way with the way you treat people.
We wanted to make a complaint about the event but we ignored it because we were exhausted from the trip from the beach to the hotel. They should take that into account since in hotels of other chains the attention at the entrance is warmer and more pleasant. He did not ask if he could pay for my accommodation with what the security person told us.
For the rest, the chain has excellent hotels in other countries and the attention is unique even if you arrive at the hotel with shorts, a shirt and your backpack on your shoulder.

Beautiful the hotel. The staff does not smile, but is attentive. Rather they seem distrustful bodyguards. The hotel is regularly new. Try to be luxurious as much as possible. Price of rooms through the clouds. Only for foreigners. The staff of their stores not attentive.

Hotel 5 stars world class, modern, beautifully decorated, with 249 rooms, excellent location in the heart Miraflores with function rooms and a roof top well equipped and ready to receive groups, weddings, congresses etc. It has 2 restaurants, the food is very tasty and they have some handmade cookies that you can not stop trying if they are in one of their hotels worldwide.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The facility is old and it shows, they have no spa (there is a gym attached to the hotel that you can use, but no "Spa"), the pool is on the roof, (NOT HEATED, its freezing, cant use). the rooms are ok, nothing special. The first time I stayed everything was fine. The second time I went, the AC was not working. No big deal, it happens. The disappointing part was how they handled it. They sent a tech 4 times in 1 hour intervals and they were not able to fix it. Refused a room change saying it was fixed "give it time to cool". I had to sleep with the window open. ON THE LAST NIGHT, they agreed to switch rooms, same type room, not an upgrade. I refused it because it was not worth packing and unpacking for 1 night of AC...The GM, Mr Tissier needs a lesson in hospitality. Hotels are my home away from home, I travel for work a little over half of the year and am as high as you can go in Hiltons loyalty program... I had to go directly to corporate to be compensated for my bad experience. The hotel GM refused to award anything other than a free nights stay at his hotel (at a hotel I would never stay at again). I chased him (for a month) for answers and an alternative to his offer with no resolve. He gave me a string of bullshit excuses like : "the board of the hotel does not give points" or "I am at corporate putting your offer through" (when his staff told my he was on vacation in France).I finally went to corporate, presented the proof and got some points put in my account...THERE ARE MANY other choices in Lima. Stay away from this hotel.

UPDATE----12-12-12

Since writing this review, after immense pressure, a few negative reviews and a call to corporate, the hotel has compensated me with an acceptable amount of points.
I will consider giving them another chance if back in Lima. Maybe.

There are two parts to this hotel. A new part, and...

There are two parts to this hotel. A new part, and an old part. I can only base this review on the place I stayed ,in the old part. Clapped out air conditioning system which sounds like a Boeing 747 coming in to land. The shower was a trickle of water located within what used to be a Jacuzzi. I tried it out but it only sputtered like a damp fart. I m still pretty agile but I had great difficulty climbing in and out of it so anyone with mobility issues should really avoid. They located me on the third floor which seems to be easily accessible with very little security. No double glazing so you hear everything outside.On the plus side the cookie they gave me was tasty.

Breakfast is buffet, although the room is spacious, the amount of food does not depend on the passengers, but the change is slow and insistent. Similarly, lunch and dinner are buffet, but there is an important detail, they do not serve any type of wine.

I only stayed one night but I found that I was ove...

I only stayed one night but I found that I was overall very impressed. Check in and out was very easy. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was very large but lacked natural sunlight as the windows faced a brick wall which was a disappointment for a room that was not basic. The breakfast was incredibly good, lots of options including custom omelette, with excellent service from the staff. I would recommend a stay here.

Nice place to stay. They should improve swimming pool it's very small. Gym equipment was awesome. Service and response is to good. People here always greet you treat very humble. People who works here are very very nice.
