Beautiful and delightful to stay at! Stayed with a group there and many complaints :)

The room is very good and the breakfast too. The elevators and the gangways very narrow that we have to wait for more than twenty minutes to get everybody into the room. But the service is very good.

The hotel is close to the city, the restaurant for dinner is large and can accommodate many people,

We stayed here for a couple of nights. The location is fantastic, it's only a few minute walk from the lake and the main part of town. From the rooftop bar area you have a great view of Lucerne as well. There is also free wifi and I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning as well. Would visit again if I'm back in the area!

The rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has good water pressure. The breakfast at the Mekong is average, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit and cereals. Can be a little noisy at night with music from the club above.

*UPDATE*. I've revised my original 4 star rating to be a 1 star rating. On my second night here, the room was VERY noisy. The club music and cigarette smoke fill the room so don't worry about missing out on the nightlife. I called the reception who suggested earplugs.

Weird hotel my room had three glass walls but very interesting

To be fair, the pllace is clean and tidy, the room is not huge but spacious enough for 2 with huge luggage, the only issues I had was the sink in the washroom is so small, they DON'T HAVE mini bar in the room, they have vending machines down near the reception area for HOT and COLD drinks, so if you are a tea person, no electric kettle in the room just incase u want tea or coffee, but you can order for sure. They would surely be happy to bring you hot drinks or cold. The roof top is nice to visit to get a good view of the area. The lift are tiny, good for 2 only, 4 if your slim.

The environment is good, the room is quite big, clean and tidy

Were really excited. The staff so helpful, the rooms top and the location perfect. Go back to "Astoria" on our next visit!

Hotel dated old rooms clean with air conditioning and mini bar has no parking. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Dangerous bathroom with no grab handles for step in shower in bath. No tea or coffee making facilities. Only one small pillow per bed

Location is very good...walking distance from the centre. Nice bedroom. Breakfast ok.

Room 1106 smells like sewage. We asked to be moved but the hotel is full.

A hotel that acknowledged that there was a plumbing issue would do is offer to send the customer to a hotel that does not smell like sewage. Not spray disinfectant and shrug their shoulders.

So far the best hotel on my europian whirl ! The best thing was the wash cloths and a good variety of english speaking tv and the rooms are also very clean thank you for great service !!!stephanie cedroni /debra carillo 26/3/2019

Very bad, no coffee machine, no kettle supply, this is a very basic hospitality.

Pay so much for the rate & still need to pay for Hot water & etc from vending machine??!

Great Location near Train station clean room look new.

There was no iron or coffee making facilities, possibly a result of us being part of a group booking. The breakfast options were a bit lacking too.

Beds were comfortable and bathroom was ok, though I think it's a Europe thing to have exhaust fans that dont work.

Nice hotel in the center of Lucerne. Original rooms equipped with every comfort. Beautiful terrace with views. A little complicated to find your way around the restaurants and bars attached to the hotel. Good value for money.

Modern and clean hotel, helpful staff, nice breakfast, perfect location, right next to the city center. I found a bit exaggerating the CHF35 for the parking, but you still have the choice to park in the street for CHF15 per day.

Stayed here on business. Room was a bit small and dated. In whole a good hotel and excellent location for train station and local tourists. Breakfast good and service good.

the single room is isolated from the others. accessed by stairs. clean but small with the smell of smoke old-fashioned bathroom. parking is not always present, groups of Orientals. great staff

The room was weird and outdated, the staff was rude / uninterested, and the hotel had a weird vibe. Decent hotel overall, but for the money, you can do better. Nice rooftop lounge.

Loved this hotel it was only about a 5 min walk to the chapel bridge, 4 min to train station! There's a gorgeous rooftop and it has several different delicious restaurants. Staff is super nice and helpful.

Hotel clean and in good condition. Parking was only in the parking garage for 39 euros. Had exterm loud neighbors (drinking bout) until late into the night. Of course the hotel can not do anything. One would have been able to show some concession to the complaint. Overall, the audience was so-so. The Italian down in the house was apex. Breakfast was ok.

Rooms were very small. The bathroom too. Breakfast was also rather reduced. Fresh bread rolls would be good. Certain standards for hotels in this category are in vain: Master light switch, sockets on the bedside table, hangers, working hair dryer.
Roof terrace and associated bar are nice.

A modern stylish hotel with a great location that can reach SBB station with less than 5 mints walking also old town , room are great comfortable , I did like roof top that showed all of luzern with a great drink of coffee or what ever you like also they got a great restaurant pizzeria and pasta.

Bad hotel, there is a nightclub upstairs, very noisy in the middle of the night, electronic music floor vibration can not sleep.

Actually, a nice hotel but not for young adults, with any complaints or notes is not on the guest received !!! Pity! and when I wanted to complain in writing, I was told that the letter will be torn as well as much to the customer! Bath hotel

Large rooms with good bed and good pillows often a problem in hotels. Breakfast also very nice. Only downside were more than 200 Chinese guests which were quite noisy

The bed was comfortable and the room functional. If all you are looking for is a place to sleep and shower, that's what you'll get.

The room was rather stuffy and the shower so small that it might be too tight for taller guests. Also, I could hear every conversation in the hallway.

A hotel of the special class. Very nice location, great rooms, restaurants and excellent food. The bar on the roof is recommended in every season. The staff is extremely customer friendly and very accommodating. Just lovely!

Terrible choice to stay in this hotel on nights when the clubs (yes there are 2) in the hotel operates till 3.30am. The bass from the music could be heard from the rooms on the first and second level. Business travelers and holiday makers should avoid this hotel at all costs!
