We stayed one night here on our way to Zermatt, The hotel staff is very courteous the free included breakfast is not that well stocked with varieties but not bad.. The location is great walking distance to the train station and the walking distance to the Chapel Bridge. The hotel is nice and modern and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
Nice rooms, location, comfort of bed..but poor breakfast for Indian people..sorry but it is a fact
Wonderful hotel
Value for money
Excellent breakfast
Great staff always helpful
Business event in the meeting rooms on the 7th floor. The room was well decorated and refreshments were sufficiently available. The way to the 7th floor was bad signposted.
A truly beautiful hotel. Only down side is that parties on the roof can be a little loud
Very good, nice hotel including the penthouse club overlooking the city of Lucerne
The main building (Second Hall) is refurbished and has a good interior.
High class hotel very well located in Lucerne city.
Comfortable room, convenient to main train station, good restaurants and breakfast.
this place is horrible. I am given a room right under the bar and disco! The music and shouting is so loud that i cant sleep. Complained to the front desk but it is useless!!!!!!
A very modern city hotel, with an appealing design. I had a very quiet room on the 6th floor. A visit to the Rooftopbar with a nice terrace, worth it. This view is gorgeous and you can take great pictures from up here. Overall, the staff was very attentive and super friendly. Here I was like guest
Beautiful European Hotel in Lucerne Switzerland we stayed at during our Globus Tour through Europe
V y quiet hotel. Rooms are clean. However entrance is confused.
A little unsure on how to review this place if I m honest. In general the room was nice, spacious, modern design and clean with a great shower. Considering the good location and that it came with a pretty generous breakfast that was served till 11 I would say the price was competitive for the town. However there missed the mark on so many other things that let the place down.
Firstly that beautiful rooftop bar, the main reason I picked the hotel, was COMPLETELY ruined by really loud & terrible music at the weekend. I had envisioned our first night coming from the airport and relaxing with an amazing view of the Alps with a cocktail. Instead I felt like I was in a club on Croydon High Street, half the tables were reserved, the music was just awful and when we left we were greeted to what looked like half the town queuing up outside. No idea what it s like in the week but at the weekend it s definitely not a bar for hotel guests. Thankfully our room was on the other side of the hotel as you could hear the music 5 floors below.
The website leads you to believe that the hotel has numerous restaurants/bars/cafes but not all of them are in the same building, a shame because if you are going to have a nightclub in your hotel as the weekends it would be nice to have had somewhere a bit more relaxed to have a drink instead. We ate in the Italian restaurant which was lovely, I had the veal ragu, very simple cooking, done very well. We looked at the Thai place but no matter how good, there s no way I would ever spend 50+ per dish for Thai food that seemed crazy expensive.
We discovered on our last day that the city bus ticket we were given at check-in actually gave us free train travel and discounts on the cable car and other attractions. Which was disappointing because we could have used it the previous day. I had sent an email before arrival asking reception for advice on how to get to mount rigi and this was never mentioned, I accept it is my fault for not looking closely at the voucher but it would have been nice if staff had told me it was a travel voucher rather than bus ticket -just a recommendation for future guests.
One last thing, we were woken up at 8am on Sunday by housekeeping banging around and talking outside our door really loudly. We had to go out twice to ask them to be quiet, we later realised there were storage cupboards opposite our room. As a hotel, surely you understand that the main reason a customer is with you is for somewhere to sleep perhaps staff could be a bit more considerate of this on a Sunday morning.
Comfy room space in higher class than standard room, and reasonable speedy wifi (always disconnect if phone's screen went off) but the hotel restaurant fondue was simply frying beef cube.
Nice location, rooms were clean and bigger compare to other hotels. Breakfast was good, can be improved a bit.
Great seminar hotel in Lucerne with many restaurants and a great bar in the 7th and 8th floor. The crew of the hotel and the restaurant La Cucina were super friendly, courteous and professional.
The room was modern in style, perfectly clean and had a Nespresso machine.
Personally, the bed was a bit too soft.
Price / performance is right.
Nice hotel in a great location - a block or two away from the river and two beautiful churches. Rooms are modern, bed was very comfortable, and the down blanket was warm. The shower was very good. There was an espresso machine in the room, and I enjoyed my coffee even though I'm not a big coffee drinker. The breakfast was decent. There was not as much variety as in the other hotels we stayed at during this trip, but it had scrambled eggs, bacon, yourgurts with various topings, several types of ham and cheese and good bread.
Hotel ok but aseptic and lacking in personality. Complex logistics
nice, clean hotel in a good, central location in the city of Lucerne. The overnight stay includes a public transport ticket within the city.
Beautiful town, beautiful fairy tales. Location should come in life.
Nice, clean hotel with quiet rooms. Breakfast buffet with good selection.
Very comfortable and quiet, welcoming, very friendly and smiling staff, the bar at the top of the hotel offers a breathtaking view of Lucerne.
The best option in lucern.
Stayed 5 nights.
Breakfast options are limited.
Near to all transportation in lucerne.
Hotel gave us 5 day free lucern pass for zone 10.
Great location, only a few minutes walking to the lake and central.
It is good because it is close to the station! No microwave, no coffee pot, no view,
I recommend the course to leave your luggage at the hostel, take a cruise and go to Mt. Rigi. Coin lockers save money
Noticeable point But there were too many ants..... The day after I got up, the ants crawled around the carrier
Very good performance in general. Nice reception at the reception. Room spacious and well cut with lots of tips. Very good value for money. Excellent breakfast in an idyllic setting. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Good continuation
Clean, contemporary and friendly staff. Best location in the heart of Lucerne. Worth every penny
The rooms are good and nest but the first room i got was not what i paid for and the hotel said it was their best room. So beware
Few minutes from the train station, very nice cosy hotel. Within 10 minutes walk from Lake Lucerne, definitely come back to stay.
Great location
Super organized
Pros: Centrally located. Cons: Basic facilities missing ( no room service, no kettle or tea bags provided)
I think the price ... is high. We had a life style room with a king size bed called a bathtub. The shower to enter it you have to climb a low wall and it's super narrow. A small window seen on scaffolding creaking all night. People who try to enter our room ... at 8 am cleaning women or I don't know who knocks on our door several times ... and tries to enter ... leaves something to be desired ... soundproofing unsatisfactory. Otherwise the comfortable bedroom decor bed good. Great hotel location and great Penthouse bar too
Friendly and quick reception, which I really appreciate. The foyer is elegantly furnished and the rooms are large and very modern in design. Top and highly recommended ...
Friendly and fast reception, which I appreciate very much. The foyer is elegantly furnished and the rooms are large and very modern in design. Top and very recommendable ...
Not too bad but has no door for the bathroom its just on the side also it is kinda plane and i recomend not eating the breakfast there
Very good accommodations with good breakfast. Well located, it is close to the train station and other tourist attractions. There are many cafes nearby.
A hotel in this category should have consideration with its customers.
Expensive for very clean and cold designed rooms, good breakfast
Room was really big
View was awesome
Shower was the biggest one I ever had in my life
I love it
The only thing that needs improvement is the elevators, maybe a little bigger
Nice spacious and comfortable. The rooms are newly renovated.
WiFi is fast enough
Staff are friendly and helpful
Location wise it is in the heart of city within 5 minutes walk to Chapel Bridge
Central location, decent breakfast, class rooftop bar.
Excellent hotel close to everything The price is reasonable Note The hotel has private parking costs 35 francs per day
Outside parking for 2 hours or 1 hour for this use the hotel's parking and the palm rest
The Hotel is at a great location but needs a bell boy and cards that are not affected by phone magnets ... Internet was a bit tricky and im an IT guy.
Nice hotel. Nice rooms, modern but a bit small. Great location . Among the various restaurants that have thai garden advice
Good environment, convenient transportation, close to the train station
Excellent Hotel, luxurious room in the center of the city, a few steps from shopping centers. Varied restaurant
Good hotel, unfortunately not always friendly staff
its a good 4 Star hotel. If u get a good deal (below 150) its really nice.
The room are small and it is not my favorite hotel.
