Great little late night pizza shop. One of the best places for pizza by the slice. Pepperoni and the Pesto are our top choices. Very chill vibe and good, fast service. Similar to NYC pizza, but softer and doughy.

Pizza here is my favorite on Cap Hill by far. Delicious and quick service, even during the weekend late night craziness. Don't bother messing with Ian's or Pags. Big Mario's would be the next best option. Hot Mama's dough is a little thick, but also tasty - Mario's serves NY style slices, but it lacks a certain wow flavor factor and service is pretty slow.

Eclectic style, funky atmosphere with great quality pizza.

It s decent pizza, but Big Mario s and Pagliaccis both do a better slice. My buddy does really like the pesto pizza, I m not a fan on not red sauce based pies.

This pizza is surprisingly bomb. The dudes are nice too. Perfect for college students if you forgot to bring a lunch.

Usually, I give places that gives me poor customer service 1 star, but this is the first time that I have received poor service. I walked in, no one acknowledged me and the white guy looked at me briefly before going to the back. The other two white/Asian employees did not even acknowledge my presence or even bothered to serve me. I walked out because I felt that my color was a personal problem for them. Because of this disrespect I had received here, I will no longer be a returning customer for this establishment. Places need to learn that black people are not inferior to other races, but are equal. The treatment that I had received at this establishment suggests that I still cannot go into a fast food restaurant just to buy a couple of slices of pizza.

Good pizza...but I just expected it to be tastier. Plus it was delivered almost 30 minutes past the quoted time.

I recommend this place for delicious food, great service and atmosphere. They also care about important causes like ending the ridiculous war on people who consume cannabis.

Great pizza! The pesto was amazing and the combination super tasty and filling. They have a few counters inside and tables outside to eat at.

Great NYC-Style Alternative to Big Mario's

Fresh, delicious, simple thin crust pizza. It's a beautiful thing.

Hot Mama's is worth checking out; especially when it's late and you're just walking by. The wait is fairly long at night (lots of walk-in by-the-slice customers), but that's just about every late-night spot in Cap Hill.

The pizza itself is very comparable to Big Mario's up the street: great dough, perfect crust, decent sauce, great topping combos. They check all of the boxes you'd want checked. A little less Annoying Hipster Service than you'd find with Mario's and more Hurry Up And Order Service .

Totally worth it if you can stand the line or if you come during off hours for takeout.

I very much enjoyed this pizza. Dough was cooked just right and the pepperoni was particularly tasty. Nice thorough, rich flavor. Went with the house combo and it wasn't super cheesy but overall, it's a large 18" for good value.

It's good. It's not the best, but its solid and accessible. They do a mean pesto pizza.

The server named Mark and Lee was awesome to communicate with. These guys were so attentive to all the customers. The service was great and the staff was nice too. Cheers to more success! It was a nice experience for me for the first time.

I was worried there wouldn t be enough seats for our party of two during rush hour, but the customers inhale the slices so fast the turnover is quick!

This is great for a quick, by-the-slice pit stop after a show or if you're having a night out on the town. Affordable, good variety of pizzas always changing, generally 3 veg and 3 meat as they rotate or of the oven. Not a lot of sitting room, mostly standing at high topped tables with a few bar stools.

Pizza is excellent. Reminds me of a hole in the wall NYC pizza parlor. Doesn't look like much from the outside but this pizza is fantastic!

Delicious, can be crowded during pandemic times so be prepared to wait, but it is well worth it.

Hot Mama's pizza is the place to be for a real good pizza in the Seattle W.A. area. This spot is one of my favorites for a slice and or an entire pizza. Try it and you will be hooked. 8)

Super greasy pizza, but the flavor is awesome. I will admit on more than 1 occasion while driving home the smell was irresistible. I couldn't even make it off Broadway, I had to park on the side of the road and grab a slice.

I'm from NY. This is one of the best in Seattle if NY pizza is what you're looking for. I only always order cheese (you don't experiment with your slice in the Bronx) but the other toppings are made just as fresh and tasty.

Delicious pizza by the slice!! You could tell by the line of people that stretched out the door and down the sidewalk that it was a good place. Also, they were out of parmesan in the shakers, and when we let a staff member know they refilled them in under 2 minutes, even though the place was packed. Amazing!

Best NY style pizza around the Cap Hill area! My favorite is pesto with chilli oil (disclaimer: not vegetarian/vegan, just really like the flavor combo, especially after a couple of drinks).

Hot Mama's Pizza is a great spot to grab a slice on the go or for a quick bite to eat. The Pizza is a great and you know exactly what your getting when you walk in. An awesome slice.

one of my favorite places for a quick bite. The staff are friendly. The pizza is great. Extensive selection of toppings. N best of all, always fresh. The place is so busy, nothing just sits out.

One of the best pizzas in seattle. Open really late on the weekend's so great place to stop by after drinking with friends all night.

This was very satisfying NY-style pizza by the slice (in a NY-style space). The crust was good, the sauce was good and the toppings were good, so I left content that my 3 bucks was well spent. The young man working there was welcoming and friendly, the music was on a good station and at a good volume, and the tables were kept clean and equipped with parmesan. No complaints here.

When I tell people why I travel to spokane it's for 2 reasons, 1 visiting my sister (family first), 2 hot mamas pizza. Over the passed 10 years I have not gone a visit to Seattle without pairing it up with hot mamas pizza.

Always a good way to end the night, or a cheap bite during the day!

This pizza place is awesome. Cheap after bar food is the best way to describe it but much more variety than your classic pepperoni and cheese. The staff is friendly and patient on the weekend nights and the crowd there is usually friendly and welcoming. Community tables and usually crowded later on in the evening. This is nothing fancy so don't get your hopes up but great for barebones grub!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

This establishment is by far one of the better and economical pizza places on the Hill. I've had many drunken nights where I needed some grub and Hot Mama's was always there.

I'm a particular fan of the cheese, pesto, and sausage pizza's, but once in a blue moon, they'll have sausage and onion. Talk about mouth-watering!

The staff has always been super kind and professional, going above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction.

No one does pizza quite like buffalo where I'm from but mama's is by far the closest and best.

I've been to a lot of pizza places in different countries and even in New York this place is good it's not great I give 5 stars because portions a huge variety is great and pizza is good not great but good it the great thing is its open pretty late also it's not expensive like other chain pizza places

BRUHHH... there's nothing like a good slice of NY style pizza after a night of drinking. Got there right before they got crazy crowded & right when 2 pies came out of the oven. Every pizza was yummy goodness!! Can't wait to go back!! Happy Eating!!

Crust: passes the droop test. Crispy 4/5.
Sauce: the area this pizza fails. Tastes like school lunch pizza sauce. 1/5.
Cheese. Unremarkable 3/5.
Pepperoni: average 3/5.

Overall it's ok. I mean it's hard to screw up pizza.

Speaking as someone who grew up in New York, this place has definitely made it onto my short list of places to go when I want NY style pizza. This place is about good basic pizza, instead of how so many pizza places around here that are about all the fancy pile of toppings on a mediocre (or worse) base pizza.

The guy behind the counter was also so incredibly enthusiastic about working there and about their pizza, and actually knew what he was talking about when comparing against genuine NY pizza.

My wife works nearby, so I will definitely be asking her to bring home a pie every now and then!

I had the opportunity to meet with a group in the side room of this pizzeria. The food was authentic American food! The service was very attentive and accommodating, which we all appreciated. Various pizzas were delicious! Everything was delicious!

I arrived into Seattle late on a Tuesday evening. Most of the other recommended Seattle eateries were already closed but Hot Mama's Pizza was still doing a roaring trade at 11pm.
