Have you noticed that every person posting last night had only one review? And every one had an autistic child? This place has never offended anyone. They are targeted. The jury will disregard.

Great place for cheaper pizza. The pies are big for a group but they can be slow once they get busy. Late night the sell by the slice and it is always a great way to end the night after having drinks on the hill

I had this pizza while I was out Friday night, it was so ridiculously good I left the bar across the street a half hour later for more slices. It's Monday now and I've literally thought about the pizza several times per day since then, I will be making designated trips to the area for this pizza. It's unbelievably good. So horribly good that this particular pizza is my new favorite food.

I order delivery from here way more often than I should, but for good old NY style pizza, I think this is probably my favorite thus far in Seattle. Sweet sauce, quality cheese, and I usually order with pepperoni, ham, and mushrooms. I think this place has kept Seattle college students fed for a generation now.

I love the pizza here so much, I wish they had a place like this back home. Feels like a mom and pop shop and by the name I'm pretty sure it might be, you can tell by the flavor. We liked it so much we bought pizza to eat there plus ordered more to take home! A must visit again when I go back to Seattle.

NY style pizza. lots of cheese. big slices. just enough grease. You want health food- this isnt the place. You want traditional awesome pizza to eat while you hang with friends and drink beers (or wine)-- this is your place.

Honestly this is my favorite pizza place in Seattle. They're not only super friendly but the pizza is so good. Whoever the angel is that came up with the Hawaiian Pesto pizza deserves to skip the line to Heaven. For some reason they have the best soda fountain on all Capitol Hill too... they are doing so many things right.

potential for 5 stars - but the pizza was undercooked...x

Ordered a whole pie and, in their defence, it was before noon... that means they just opened and there's a good chance the employees didn't show up 4 hours early just to turn the oven on to preheat.

Such a perfect, stream lined pizza experience. Genuinely just pizza and soda. Feels cheaper than other spots on the hill, and I prefer it over sizzle pie/pagliaccis. Pizza is best fresh out of the oven.

Serviceable, no thrills counter service pizza joint that gets the job done. Hawaiian is pretty solid. I always want to like the sausage but it consistently tastes a little "off'" to me in a previously frozen kinda way.

This is the best pizza place in Capitol hill (and perhaps in Seattle). Some personal favs - mama s choice, chef s choice and the Greek. Parking is restricted to roadside and currently offering carry out only. They do sell pizza by the slice as well

Had a slice of plain pizza, enjoyable pizza and I liked it. From this sample of two plain slices, this is not New York style pizza (if you actually grew up on the east coast and ate a ton of pizza from New York, Boston, Connecticut, New Jersey, you would know exactly what I am saying and what I mean).

Something about the crust style, oil style, tomato sauce style/flavor/zest, and cheese style/amount makes this not feel or taste like pizza you have eaten on the East Coast your whole life.

Very enjoyable pizza and a nice staff, not East Coast New York style taste or texture.

Best NY style pizza in Seattle. They ll deliver to most places in downtown/cap hill. Out of the best places in Seattle this place takes the cake for my tastes. They have a thinner crust with ample cheese and sauce. However be aware during prime times the wait for delivery can be a while, but pickup is always quick.

Hot Mama's is amazing. The slices are pretty cheap, around $2.50 each, and two slices is enough in most cases (though I always want to eat more because it's so good). I don't know that I think it's very 'new york' style pizza, but the crust is definitely the most delicious I've had. Just the right amount of doughy. Also, the toppings and combos are so good. Pesto's my personal favorite.

I've always gotten takeout slices. Cheap for the area. A bit cardboardy sometimes, but the crust is also doughy and soft. The pizza slices are enormous and covered in cheese and toppings with the perfect amount of sauce.

They messed up my order but comped me an additional free pizza for the trouble. That's pretty cool in my book. Pizza is very good and has great toppings and flavor. Always a crowd pleaser.

The waiter was great though, he tried his best to make up for anything the place lacked. good work waiter.

I'm from New York, and it's pretty hard to find a good pizza place here in Seattle that has that east coast flavor to it (literally). Mama's is definitely spot on. Makes me feel right at home, great job guys!!!

Hot Mama's pizza is a wonderful gift from the gods and goddesses of pizza. Their pesto pizza is probably the best they have, though a strong case can be made for the many other flavors they have. Made right in the store, literally 5ft away, Hot Mama's pizza is a necessity.

Decent pizza, open very late. Sometimes the line moves a bit slower then seems needed for already cooked pizza. Also a very tight space, would be nice if they had an exit door.

Pizza sause could be a bit more robust. It's a thinner slice, NYC style.

By far the best pizza I have had in a long time. It has the brick oven taste and for being such a small store they crank out the pizzas fast.

It's pretty easy to miss if you're driving. But definitely worth stopping in and getting a slice or a whole pie

Sometimes there is a line, like in the early morning when I need some pizza in my life the most! Always receive great service from the staff despite it being busy. And the pizza slices are top notch.
