This is one of my favorite late-night chow stops on Capitol hill:). I think they have fair prices, and the staff has always been nice to me, even when they are hella busy or tired. I recommend them to all Hill-side revelers!

Stellar for some late-night pizza. Despite it being a Saturday after 10pm they still answered their phone and took a custom pizza order no issue. Their small spot downtown was packed with ppl and had a line but it moved quickly. They were very friendly and their pizza was as-advertised 18" diameter

Their service is horrible. I called to order for delivery and someone who represented himself as "Austin" advised that there'd be an almost 2 hr wait. My response was fine, as long as my pizza isn't cold like it's been the last couple times.

I didn't ask for a replacement or anything else. Rather than listen , or even just tell me he'd try to make sure my pizza was hot, he repeatedly interrupted me and acted like a jerk. I don't spend good money for rudeness or disrespect.

I won't be back.

The pizza is decent. I definitely don't agree with the above reviews on how fantastic it is. My problem with it is two things; there is way too much cheese and the crust is bland/tasteless. I was under the impression it was going go be more Brooklyn style rather than a pizzastorechain tasting...

As someone who has grown up and lived most his adult life in &around NYC I found hard to find any pizza that was good ket alone that sells by the slice, Mama's is the first place I'd even consider saying that they have good pizza this is by far the best pizza in Seattle and the staff is very friendly. I would travel 20 minutes anytime just to have a slice here rather than eat the garbage that other pizza places offer

Best slice in Seattle. Cant compete with a $3 slice (Ian's). Rather pay less for simplicity done right than weird ingredients that markup a slice to $5 bucks(tator tots should never be on pizza)

Excellent authentic pizza, tasty slices, great location! Wish I knew about them sooner, because the pizza is better than any other I ve had in Seattle. The crust is delicious and properly cooked. Their ovens are actually hot and the pizza is perfect. I ve been three times this week. I would recommend their pizza to anyone except people who I don t like.

I don't go to the Hill as much as I used to and so it was a nice reminder recently to drop by and get a couple slices.

Hot Mama's has a great New York style pizza. I think that Pagliacci's gets it even closer with their chewier crust, but I would happily eat pizza from either of them and Hot Mama's is open later.

The prices are fine, it doesn't feel like a steal, just fair.

If you're looking for by the slice there's essentially no wait. I don't think I've ever ordered a pizza from them, so I can't say what that's like.

Hot Momma's is the best, I used to go here almost everyday when i lived up in Cap Hill. I always have them put my slice back in the oven for a minute to make it cripsy on the bottom, and they're usually always so nice about it. Plus all their pizza is sooo good. :)

SO GOOD!! After touring downtown Seattle the day after a snowstorm, we had seen a lot of sites, drank a lot of coffee and were hungry for some fresh, hot New York style pizza. Our Google search let us to Hot Mama s and we were not disappointed. Some good single slice options but we went for the large cheese pizza to share (Gold Medal slice). The staff was friendly, the service was quick and the pizza was delicious. Phenomenal, crispy crust. Good amount of flavorful sauce and excellent cheese with a good amount of chew (not too much, not too little). Wide variety of toppings available at a reasonable price. Also classic Coke drinks on the soda fountain or free ice water. I m a West Coast transplant from the East Coast and this pizza is phenomenal!! Highly recommend Hot Mama s.

Their chicken garlic pizza has rescued me on hangover/sick days. It has whole cloves of garlic that get roasted and sweet, a life saver (if you re being hunted by a vampire). It s so seriously good!! The crust helps absorb any remaining alcohol in your system. Really good on any day, we frequented hot mamas very often (way too often) when we lived close by for pick up or just a quick slice. Service was always prompt and friendly.

The pizza is pretty good. The price is ridiculously low for the area. I spent as much on pizza as I did on a coke bottle at the store across the street. Service was quick too. I think this is my go-to place now.

Best pizza around the area.

I used to live in Seattle and I go there basically every week. Although I live in the East now, I always take the time to stop by when I travel back to Seattle.

This place is our favorite pizza joint in Seattle. Their bread is light and has a nice taste to it. They have good veggie options, they do half and half, provide easy pick up.

Parking however can be tricky.

Wow. Just wow. Great guys slinging incredible NYC-style slices. The place has been there since '95 and it looks like it (ie. it's a bit rough), but that's all part of the vibe. I would have preferred the slices warmed a bit more, but the taste and crust was phenomenal and will absolutely be coming back anytime I'm in Seattle.

Really good pizza by the slice. If you like a doughier pizza, definitely try the pizza here. Not really close to real Brooklyn, deep dish, or detroit style pizza, but still pretty good!

This is probably the only pizza place where I've never looked at the prices.

Most of the time, I'll go online and research who has the best deal for a half hour or so and go with the cheapest one, but Hot Mama's is far and beyond, hands-down the best pizza I've ever had and is worth whatever price they're charging me.

From that hometown feel, the always smilin and friendly chefs, to the foldable slices of heaven this place knows how to make pizza that will make you weak in your knees. If you are anywhere in the area, go out of your way to drop by here for a slice, although I suggest calling up and ordering a fresh pizza for yourself it's always better straight outta the oven.
