Motel itself was great. Service in bar bad. My appetizer was burnt to a crisp. Go somewhere else for food and drink.

Landed and took-off safely...What more can you ask for?

I stayed here with my family and everyone was so friendly staff was great from the front desk to the cleaning staff they remember my kids names and everything I love how they have the restaurant right there in the hotel and it's close to a lot of attractions I will definitely stay here again when we return in October thank you for making us feel right at home

Visited for a conference. The hotel is nice with good food. I like the view of the snow and airport. The set up for the building was a little awkward for finding our way to the classes. I will stay there again.

I went here for the parking and it was a seamless experience.

Closest Marriott property to KC airport. Has free shuttle service. Is currently being renovated - Aug 2017. Current Concierge club is on 9th flr. I had a newly renovated room on 9th flr and it was nice but small.

Older facility. The building that my Delta flight outbound was leaving from had 2 X-Ray machines, so going through security was a bit slower but efficient. Walkways are narrow so walking through is easily congested and worse when people are waiting at gates. They seem to stand in the walkway.
There was someone who went through security and left a black rolling bag. There was an announcement over the PA and a TSA agent walking through the gates announcing the description of the bag to find its owner. Nice to see the attempt to get the bag back to its owner.

The worst experience ever at a Marriott property. The hotel is old, being renovated, and playing host to high school proms, apparently. There was a TON of noise, ALL night long. Several people on my floor were out in the hall, complaining, but the noise persisted. Even though I was given a "newly renovated" room, it was awful. The layout made no sense and almost looked like a storage closet into which they dumped a bunch of furniture that wasn't currently needed. The doors don't fit, so you could actually see through the cracks and out into the hall. The bathroom door was a slider that would not stay closed. The bed was on the floor! I was happy to get out and will never book there again.

Not a great experience. Room was very dirty at check in. Lamps covered in dust and was carved "Dust Me" into lamp. Floor has dust everywhere so I mopped my room floor for them, towel looked nasty after. Shower leaks all over the bathroom floor, horrible design. I used all the towels in the room to clean up after it. No ice machine on my floor, went down a floor and that ice machine was broken. I stay in Marriott hotels across the country for work, but this has to be one of the dirtiest ones I've stayed in. When I told front desk the two girls working didn't care, they said it's an old building and gets dusty after they clean. Funky thermostat, very hard to control temperature in the room, not sure if it was actually working. Would not recommend this hotel. Looks nice but bad design and dirty.

Comfortable, very convenient to the airport, free transportation, on site bar and restaurant.

Beautiful and desirable hotel atmosphere. Grounds were well kept as well as the fashionable interior.

Personable staff. Wonderful, helpful, thoroughly efficient. Desk clerk were great and answered all questions completely.

20 degrees outside, hotel was without heat. 58 degrees in the guest room, I spent the night under 2 sheets, 2 comforters, and bathroom towels to stay warm. Thank goodness I was in a double. No bottled water available in their "upgraded room".

Restaurant was under severely staffed.
Front desk was rude except for Roel, he was great.

this place is huge and a lot going on,i dont mind leaving my car here while i go too the airport and leave town for a spell,and they have shuttle service.

Renovated within the last year, the airport Marriott offers a attractive classic look with a transitional approach. There is a bar in the dropped level of the lobby floor that is generally tidy. There is an elevator for each section of the building, and the walk is never far. There is a concierge who seems pleasant. He recommended my massage therapy business to a very pleasant person. As always it was a pleasure working there.

Great location close to the airport and they are updating pretty much everything.

Unfortunately I have to stay here often for work and the rooms are always dirty. Hair everywhere in the sink and shower, dirty pillows, dirty sheets. Definitely not Marriott standard.

The company I work for had a safety meeting there and told us that they got 35 rooms for us guys flying in and when I showed up 1:30 am they had a list of guys that may show up from the company I work for but had no rooms a signed and was sold out so had no room for me so I ended up sleeping on a couch in a co workers room then an hotel alarm went off 2:30 am till 3:30am so felt like no sleep at all and no one said sorry or anything for all the problems. Even though the company I work for was paying for everything I say it was one of my worst stays

Been staring here for decades. It's a decent hotel but it's not close to anything. Super isolated. Staff is very friendly. Food it's pretty average.

Clean hotel. Concierge level is nice. Nice views of lake. Getting ready to remodel hotel so should be even nicer soon. The views out of some of the rooms are very nice. We stay there for KW business items etc. It's Mariott quality!

Nice hotel with a great view of a nice lake. Exceptional staff! All are friendly and helpful. The Concierge Lounge is the best run of all I have been to in 10 years!

Was there for a Chrysler training session. Very professional staff

Overall, I had a great stay at the Kansas City Airport Mariott. The front desk personnel were really great. I ordered dinner from the Fresh Bites menu, which was just ok. I had to take the shuttle in the early morning to make a 6am flight. The shuttle driver was pretty testy, but I am sure he has a tough job! I would stay again, no real complaints!

We had a good stay for one night stay big TV comfortable beds.

Currently airport Marriott is undergoing renovation and upgrades, which isngood as it was needing it. I dont know how to rate it once it will be complete, as it will not be the experiance i had. Bring your fishing pole as there is a large lake on the property.

We were just there because of a really early flight. Everything went well enjoyed the pool but the directions could have been a little clearer... walk through the gym. The lady seemed very confused about me giving her the keys in the morning and saying I wanted to check out. She couldn't do it at that moment because I was supposed to get the reciept under the door. i just confirmed it was just the room charge and said i didnt need a receipt... hope it worked.

Nice hotel. Interior and rooms recently renovated. Private lake, patio, pool, and restaurant/bar on site. Very nice clean rooms and beds. Close to the airport and less than 30 minutes from downtown KC.

Marriott Quality hotel. A+.... not in the airport, shuttle ride with the rest of the airport shuttles

I love this hotel!! The staff is always great, the restaurant nice, the rooms comfy and the concierge is spectacular! The lemon/blueberry cookies are what keep me coming back. LOL

Bathroom is small, pillows are hard.... staff friendly, can park for 5 days for 50.00 and get airport shuttle. Cheaper than parking in garage.

Best restaurant i've ever been to in the hotel with the beautiful lake view. Nice Clean Room. Very comfy beds. And great bathroom.

This review is based on the current status of the hotel which is in the middle of a renovaction. Why stay open? If a hotel is so outdated and old that it should be torn down and started over why stay open during a reservation that is going to prolong the site for another few years. It must be the airline and corporate contracts with Marriott that keep it going. The place was an absolute mess during my stay. The lobby was a mess, the computers didn't work in the business center. In fact, when looking for the temporary business center I asked an employee where it was to which she replied 'no ingles'. No problem, I speak Spanish. I asked where it was in Spanish to which she replied no creo. Hint: it was around the corner in a guest room that hadn't been renovated yet. My room, which was right next to the elevator, liteally facing the elevator area (don't they usually build floor plans to avoid this?) was newly renovated. I am not sure who chose the decor but it is ugly, dark and dreary like a bad 80s movie. To my fellow travelers, stay somewhere else. To the owner, cancel the renovations and just tear it down and start over. 2 stars because it's a great location and my bed was comfy. Also seriously overpriced for KC.

My husband is staying here this week. I called to see if i could have a sweet treat delivered to his room for Valentines day. Mary Kate was so helpful and kind. I told her what I was looking for and she made it happen! Thank you for the great service!

Stayed overnight while giving a presentation in the area. WiFi was solid, service friendly. The food at the restaurant was good, and very easy in and out of airport and rental car area. The room was a tad smaller than usual but still plenty of space for a short overnight stay. Internet TV was available which made for a nice and relaxed decompression after the event.

The hotel was very near to the airport and has a shuttle that goes to airport very early. The front desk agents greeted me with a welcoming smile despite the masks. My room was immaculately clean. The bed was so comfortable. The best perk was the restaurant where I enjoyed delicious brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and broccoli with a glass of wine. I sat outside and enjoyed the Lakeview.

The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The airport is practically next door, but I didn't hear airplane noise during my stay. I didn't hear noise from the hall or from neighboring rooms. There is a convenient airport shuttle.

My room had a nice, large TV and a great view of the lake. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was decent, but the barn door wouldn't close completely and there was no way to lock it. Also, pooled outside the shower door when I showered. The restaurant was disappointing (basic menu and unhelpful staff). This hotel is in an industrial area, so there were no retail stores, entertainment venues (i.e. movie theaters), or restaurants (besides the hotel and airport) within at least 5 miles. I'd only recommend staying here if being near the airport is your priority.

My stay here was unexpected, the 2nd leg of a flight to Denver was cancelled due to weather. I'm pleasantly surprised by the ambience of this hotel including the restaurant. My room is quite nice too. Though I'd rather be home, this is a nice place to be in the meantime.

Renovations are on-going but the renovated rooms are nice. The restaurant and bar is very nice. The staff and food are excellent too.

Very nice experience. We were warmly greeted by the accomodation desk. Hotel and grounds were clean and well kept. We our evening meal at the 24 hr restaurant. The menu offered many choices. The food was well prepared and presented. Parking is offered for a nominal fee for park and fly with airport transportation offered. This made for a nice evening before our morning flight. It makes the trip much more enjoyable.

Worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time. Old, dirty small rooms. Desperately in need of an update. Horrible, overcrowded lounge. Very expensive food and drink. Stay anywhere, but here.

Songs of the 70s is what this place reminds me of. It s got some charming aspects to it. I liked staying at this place. The rooms and bed were comfortable. The bar and restaurant were nice. They have good food. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is the place to be if you want to stay near the airport for an early morning flight. Great service, reasonably priced rooms and nice rooms with ample space. Looking forward to coming back .
