All employees are trained well and courteous. They want to please.

I'm not big on gambling but the place is alright. I guess depending on the time of day you go depends on what kind of games you can get into. Later at night the card games are much pricier.

Great place to stay! Rooms are very clean and staff pleasant

Not enough Roulette tables open. Table was very crowded and it took way to long after each spin of the wheel. We was told that another table would be opening in 10 mins, that was an hour ago.

Attended my company's holiday dinner at the casino. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was decent but nothing spectacular.

loved it and loved the blackjack even more. wife really liked the Harry Potter slot machine, and has now studied up on blackjack and can't wait to go back. great place to have fun and has the possibility of not making you spend a ton of money. pretty sure we broke even but I'm going to go ahead and say we went away with money given the enjoyment we experienced here. Great place of I haven't already said it.

The buffet was not too good but the band at s&r was great

My wife and I decided to go to Horseshoe Friday night for the crab buffet and several hours of gaming for her birthday and to kick off our vacation. Well...that was our plan anyways. We expected the buffet to be busy, but being told without remorse to expect a 4hr wait. Not happening. Another gentleman who was VERY courteous and welcoming, tried to encourage us to play games for awhile then come back or try one of the other restaurants. If we had wanted something else, we wouldn't have driven almost an hour to get there. So, unfortunately we ended up leaving without eating or playing any. With a demand like that for a seafood buffet, why not offer it on more nights or even some lunches. That's what the casinos in Biloxi, MS do and the tables and machines stay stacked and packed on those days. We usually go to Biloxi 3 or 4 times a year for vacation, but we decided to stay and go to a local place this time. I'm thinking that was a mistake. We had such high expectations for Horseshoe, but it fell way short. We were only greeted by one person (the nice gentleman mentioned earlier), the parking garage stunk of marijuana (saw no security patrols) and the place in general looks to need a good cleaning and paint job inside. My wife and I and our party had planned on spending some serious money last night. That obviously didn't happen, and we'll most likely stick to Biloxi. No matter if it's the penny floor, high roller lounge, buffet, or pastry shop...they're on their A Game 110% of the time.

The room was gorgeous, food was fantastic, everything was clean!

I like to spend a little time at Horshoe , it's a lively place good food entertaining a little luck at the casino. The only thing it would be nice really limit the smoking .it's hard as a recovering smoker to be in contact with a lot of smoke.

Even with the construction going on, Horseshoe Southern Indiana Casino is a fun place to visit. There is plenty of parking and the employees are eager to assist you in your needs. I was even able to donate blood there to the Red Cross!

I wasn't happy about the construction, but that's what is required to grow. The customer service made up for it.

Stranded at 1030pm. No available uber, lyft, and yellow cab available for over 2 hours. Hotel front desk wasn't helpful. How do they have no transportation partnerships. We were completely helpless. Eventually had to have a friend from Louisville come and pick us up.

Your average amount or casino walking, lots of slots, table games and nice bar

I had fun going broke playing the slots. Hotel room could be better. The bed was lumpy and bad TV reception.

Staff were pleasant, rooms clean. The casino is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. They are constructing a new casino and are keeping old one fairly clean. Only drawback I had was there is nothing else to do outside of the casino and pool.

Always enjoy. Far drive but need a to hurry up and complete construction.

Loved it before covid virus, now slots don't give you any chance. It's how you can lose a thousand dollars in one hour. Been here twice since virus won't be driving 600 miles any more for that.

Always have a great time. The casino is always clean. Bathrooms are also clean as well. I never have hit big but I usually always win a little to keep me playing and wanting to come back. Love that there are four different floors to play on and that one is non smoking. There are alot of different options to chose from whether it be slots, card tables or roulette.

Overall it was a good experience. Pros: The hotel room was clean and bug free with no bad odors. Even the cheapest rooms are accommodated with two beds. Plenty of electrical/usb charging outlets. Upgraded large shower head. Cons: The pool was unavailable. The hotel room carpet was slightly damp. During checkout the attendant was rude to say the least. Also during checkout I was charged an additional $20.00 more than what I was told while checking in.

Perfect weekend getaway! The room was clean and spacious and the staff is amazing! An adult eutopia!

I attended a company Xmas party and was very disappointed to realize that our banquet had nothing appealing for a vegan. I even left the banquet to look around the casino to buy a good vegan meal. I found one restaurant that offered a More

Stayed in the hotel which was very nice, enjoyed that part of our visit. The new casino sucks, we have played at casinos all over the country & this is the worst. The machines are so tight you don't get to play very long at all. They require high minimum bets & pay pennies. Numerous machines aren't working. They clearly opened prematurely. The food options are pitiful. $14 for 3 pieces of fried chicken, they tried to give me 3 wings until I objected. Sides are an additional $4 & they were cold. I was extremely disappointed in the new casino. I am giving 1 star because the hotel was nice.
Even Lady Luck couldn't drag me back to this casino, so no response necessary.

It was awful... so much cigarette smoke you could hardly breathe. Even the non smoking section was littered with smokers that none of the staff did anything about. Will likely be the last time I go there.

Decent betting prices for late night gambling. Good customer service. Staff is decent and usually welcoming. Free fountain drinks on the gaming floor. Smoking allowed on the casino floor. I would like to see more dealers working though

This is my second review for this place. We are regulars at this casino going at least twice a week. Never a bad experience. Always had lots of fun and love the new on-land casino. However, we had a bad experience of couple of nights ago that really has me questioning whether we should go back at all.

For as long as we have been going here we have never stayed at the hotel. Last week, to celebrate our 24th anniversary, we decided to book a room for this past Friday Mar 06, 2020. I went online and made a reservation for a non-smoking king size bed room. We packed up and drove an hour there to enjoy our night together. When we arrived and went to the check-in desk we were told that there were no rooms available. I told the receptionist that we had a reservation to which she answered "that does not guarantee you a room". I mean, what is the point of a reservation if the room is not reserved for you. At this point I asked to speak to a manager and once again she would not help us. They offered us a smoking room which no-way were we going to stay in a smoking room. Then she offered us a room with separate beds. Again, we were there to celebrate our anniversary. The whole experience was extremely disappointing. We had to leave there and drive an hour back home because they gave our room away.

At no point did they offer to upgrade us, only downgrade us. Never did they apologize for the inconvenience or offered us a voucher of any kind to make up for our room being given away.

Again, extremely disappointed with the hotel portion of this establishment.

Adults playground! Great restaurants reasonable prices and a accessory store out of this world.

Attended a work event. Good service and a nice environment for a week meeting. Would recommend.

This is our second visit from Michigan in 3 weeks. Had a wonderful time the first visit, so decided to visit again. Already planning on going back in October. Felt very safe with all the precautions and cleaning they do.

I do so love gambling. Ceasers has really added lots of fun new slot machines, and I win more frequently then when i have compared to gambling at derby city gaming

I have found a better payout at this Horseshoe. I tried the Baltimore location but found the same machines with a smaller payout. I like the bar and restaurant Smoke and Rye. The smoked manhattan is a must try. This place always makes me feel good even if I didn't win.

The room was great but the pool and hot tub were closed. Food in the cafe is way too expensive. The casino is good fun and the restaurants are great!

Fun night with friends! Worked the slots for a while and had drinks and enjoyed the live DJ!

I'm hoping the Buffett gets better with the new casino it really needing help

They refurbished the rooms and the games are land based now. I lost my "you know what" but had a great night stay. I recommend Jack Binion for a great dinner while you stay. I will definitely return for more stays.

Great service and friendly staff! The pool area was closed when we were there and updates are being made but otherwise it was a great comfortable stay. The beds were really comfy!

i have not been in awhile. i never win and that's boring. It's not worth the trip.
