Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel Review

We were only there for a few hours, but the staff that we encountered was great.

Very nice meeting rooms with excellent food and service. Easy free parking, very nice and clean. Not sure about hotel rooms or casino- was just there for a training seminar. Surprised there were no signs in town or on the highway directing you, but Google took us right to the front door.

The people are really friendly the bathrooms are clean and the food is really good

This is my first time here and I can't say I was very impressed. I was surprised at how small it was.

Don't go there!!!!! How they still get business, I DON'T KNOW. My stay was horrible, after not having a valet service, and having to pay a 10 resort fee to use a computer that had no ink/toner in there printer, and a very dirty exercise room with brown spots still on the towels. If they send you an offer throw it away, you will be highly disappointed. Don't listen to the fake accounts giving fake reviews. Their employees create accounts and get bonuses to write fake reviews. Also there is a lot of TRAILER trash there bot on the staff and in the Casino. BEWARE.

Very nice staff, casino was enjoyable. Only complaint was the beds were too soft.

They need better food choices in the diamond lounge. It's boring and the same all the time.

Only went to the casino. Service at the bar was great. Parking and entrance was confusing because if you walk in on the hotel side there's no real direction to say where to go for the casino

What a gem of a casino. Easy to get to, valet parking, and friendly dealers at the tables.

Its old, a little ghetto, doesn't pay out for anything, there's a depressing air in the place. Definitely not a "fun" place to go.

Even though the expedia reviews suggested this hotel had been renovated the room had been a smoking room and it was quite obvious. Horrible horrible cigarette smell. Front desk said they would find a different room on another floor that had been completely renovated, but when we went back to front desk, I think they realizes we had paid in full with expedia, he said geez we don't have any room. This place was so empty there was no way the hotel was fully booked. Instead they said they would treat the room to help with the smell. Which took another 30 minutes. Due to our late arrival we didn't have any choices, at first the room smelled better, but after a couple hours it was still the smell. Never again. Worst casino too for that matter.

The room was affordable, spacious, and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the room service was all delicious. The only real complaint is with their WiFi. There is no free WiFi, and that would be fine, I paid the additional charge for WiFi, but I'd you buy the standard WiFi it is so slow that I couldn't even load a YouTube video within a half an hour. You're basically traveling back in time and experiencing the dark ages of dial up. They do offer an even more experience "high speed" option, but if this is their idea of acceptable Internet speeds to sell to customers I won't be paying more in hopes of getting a usable Internet connection. I'll just tether my phone in the future and pay my cellphone provider.

I love going there people are really nice and helpful on learning new table games.

Very kind staff at hotel and top of line restaurant. Slight dank smell in room, but otherwise, great place to stay. First time, relaxing experience.

Harrah is always clean and have yet to meet an unfriendly dealer

I lost a lot of money but the real value was the enemies I made along the way.

Room was nice, though the blanket was dirty. The hotel staff was excellent. Signs pointed to vending and ice, however, was only ice. No vending machines.

Location was awesome. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. The rooms didn't block out much sound though. About 2 am the neighbors decided to be loud and slam doors sounded like they were in our room. All in all not too bad though...they could have threw in free breakfast for as much as we paid for the room. It was nice being walking distance to the Rialto.

Ate at the buffet restaurant found the food to just be OK. Kids eat free on Sundays.

Staff was very helpful and attentive. Wish the JACKPOT sound effect wasn't blasting over the sound system though.

This I a nice Casino, it has good food &_drinks here. The beer & mixed drinks are kind of expensive. It has 2 or 3 Bars here. They have a nice expensive Hotel.

Casino guests. Room was nice. Great time for the most part. Uneven service a couple of times. Slow service at dinner. Then bartender misplaced my credit card.

Company booked a room for training - food was delicious and room was a great atmosphere for training.

The rooms ate nove and clean, new Dining since I was there last. Alot of new hames to play.

Hotel is nice but rooms smell like smoke. Had 2 rooms, not adjoining and both had a strong smoke smell.

It's a fun place to go, the food there is really good so I definitely recommend doing the buffet at some point. It seems like whenever you go you will find a table or place available to play some blackjack but that a lot of other games are either full or not running.

We were at the Casino and had dinner which we enjoyed.

We called a week earlier to reserve two rooms and these guys faithfully reserved for us the rooms and were very reasonable in their prices.

Hey at least place offers free soda when your gambling and the food is half decent, quit when you re ahead and don t be greedy and you might go home a happy gambler

They DO NOT PAY....slots....table games they offer are not as lucrative as rivers or horshoe ....carpet is old so it smells sometimes also an eye soar...people are good the servers and dealers, managers great great staff. Poker room sucks bad...not enough tournaments...they only promote 1,2 really. The poker players are ALL local normals and will play 1,2 like you have never seen. Your pocket AA will get cracked by 7,4 off all day. The food is terrible the chefs are terrible. The buffet is 30 bucks and the selection is limited and rarely changes. The worst though are the slots ....yiur better off on the tables

Really good buffet. A little pricey, but we occasionally get discount tickets.

I had a great time, I went to meet up with some friends from out of town who had earned free stay at Harrah's Hotel, and game playing points. There room was very nice. The crowd at the casino was friendly, and seem to be very excited. For the first time I can say I won money on the slot machines. Will certainly go back and invite my family and friends who are seeking a great night of excitement.

Nice rooms. Machines let you play which is nice for a change.
