I found the services lacking and unresponsive to needs.
They are a great health place for low income folks but their call backs are rated 0. They leave no message and when you call back they don't know who had called. PLEASE, either leave a message as there is voice mail availability so we can know who called. When someone is constantly having seizures is imperative to have the chance to talk with the original caller. Sorry about the rant but when a loved is going through this it becomes very aggravating to say the least!!!!
Compassionate, kind, friendly staff. Excellent quality of care! Love the new building and the extras - valet, lab, x-ray, pharmacy.
Was on hold for dentist office for 45 minutes, then told me can't get in until oct/nov. Lady was very rude to me.took picture with husband phone how long I was on hold .
Still waiting for 2 hours to see the doctor I'm ready to leave.....
Slow As in I had a 3:45 appointment and still hadnt been seen at 5:37
Dr Chokshi is the best.. takes time to listen and productive advice given
Got there for my appt at 10:30 didn't get seen till after 12 wasn't happy and totally misinformed on my purpose of wanting to be seen.....
I would not be where I am today without the help of Dr. Proffer and her nursing staff! I also love all of the sweet ladies at the check in/out windows!! They are so sweet and helpful! I just wish I could remember when my next appts are lol!
My family and I just moved to Florence in Nov 2019. Our ped in Charleston, SC gave us the recommendation to see Dr. Foxworth and raved about how amazing he was. Unfortunately, we haven't even been given the chance to see him due to his front office staff, nor will we ever. I went online to fill out the "become a patient" forum for all three of my children. I later followed up with the office to see if there was anything further I needed to complete in order to schedule my children's appointments. I was able to speak with one person (I forgot her name), she stated she did not see any information on my children - to give her a few minutes and she would call me right back. As I'm sure you can imagine, I never received that call. I called the following day, getting the answering service and then them transferring me to a voicemail. I left a message per usual. Never received a call back. The following week, I still had not heard anything from them. This is also in between me calling multiple times. The whole week went by and still nothing. It is now 1/29/20 - I called and left another voicemail yesterday and still have not heard from anyone. I sincerely hope his front office staff can get their acts together because there is no telling how many potential patients they may have lost due to their lack of customer service abilities.
I have been a patient of Doctor Culpepper for years, since he practiced in his old HopeHealth office where I received excellent healthcare services. Though ever since he's moved to this office, it's been horrible. Every time I call I am connected to answering machines that don't say who they are for. No one ever calls back. I left dozens of messages with the patient advocate, who never bothered to call me back and let me know what was happening (or not happening) with my referral to a specialist. I have had a sinus infection for two weeks, and have called and asked for help every day this week, and been ignored. It took his nurse five weeks to fill out a form I needed for work properly. I could have lost my job. I had to talk to a supervisor (who was unavailable) to get that paperwork filled out correctly. I hate to leave such an experienced and compassionate doctor, but I can't take this office's treatment much longer. I feel constantly blown off, ignored, and like a chore the staff just don't feel like dealing with. The ladies in the lab excluded, at least they are friendly and professional.
I had been going to Hopehealth for several years. Dr. Page actually saved my life by listening to me and sending me for tests and they found blood clots in my lungs. She left the practice and Dr. Bennett took over. She does not listen to you. After my first (AND ONLY) visit, she put me on anxiety medicine and took me off my Ambien. She mentioned Ambien was habit forming and would not prescribe it to me. I took the axiety medicine along with zquil to help me sleep. She advised if that medicine did not work, go to the pharmacy and have the last prescription filled of Ambian and take that. I told her there was no refill and she argued the fact. After taking the anxiety with zquil ( and it cost more than ambien) I went to get the refill and the pharmacy said there was no prescription on file. I know what worked for me the last year and a half, it is not like I had not tried other sleep aids. If you want a doctor to listen to you, she is not the one. Don't go to her. Like the prior post stated, she thinks people just want drugs when in reality they want a solution.
Hope health seemed like a great place and everyone was so nice, with the exception of Dr. Lisa Lanning Lowther. She demonstrated bias upon our visit, she was rude and condescending, she made a pre judgement and assumed we were "junkies" and were only trying to get high. The issue was for chronic pain from blood clots for a loved one. I told her I was very offended by her assumptions and her response was sorry you feel that way with a smirk on her face. At that time, I felt it necessary to reintroduce myself by my hard earned title of Doctor as well. Then her tune changed and she became interested in my pedigrees and began the apology tour. She chalked it up to her having a long day. Now keep in mind, this was the first visit and when I told her that she came in the door biased, she replied that it was hard not to. This is only the surface of what happened on our visit, but she did mention she was going to be transferring back to McLeod Health to teach new residents full time in October. Let's hope her unprofessionalism and poor attitude doesn't rub off on them.
Time spent is usually always over 2 hours. Was called in for a pill count (which I don't have a problem with) but was told I shouldn't have been because I was never given a controlled substance contract to sign and took 1.5 hour out of work. Phone calls are never returned. Sitting in one of the rooms now and have been here for 1.5 hours and still haven't been seen (typical) Currently looking for a new provider. Thankfully my insurance is really good so it shouldn't be too hard. Sad they have such a nice new facility but are so unprofessional.
The staff here is amazing the really go out of there way to make you feel like family. The facility has almost everything you would need including a pharmacy and a great deli with daily specials.
P.A Barrett comes into work at whatever time he feels like it during the summer. Basically this is what his nurse told me today. I had an 8 am appointment, at 9:15 am he still wasn't in the office and I walked out. I have been going to him for years but after today I will not go back. My time is just as valuable as yours.
back in 2014 after I was shoot I was seeing a doctor which was white didn't feel the need to help with my condition but rather give me unnecessary medicine which doesn't fit everybody I asked her to refer me too pain management which was deny saying my injuries ain't sustain to that kind of treatment my primary care doctor discharged me for no reason stating that hope health no longer able to help take care of treatment even though I was taking the medication she prescribed me I told her I also need pain management from my gun shot wound which she feel like there wasn't no need to be giving pain medication by referring me too 1 they say once I get discharge I can't come back even though I got discharged for no apparent explanation reason
Been a patient for three years. Thankfully never had a bad experience!
They are very friendly and don't make you wait long
Don't like the doctor or nurse attitude and the way they talk to you
PhD. Katherine Proctor cut me straight off my medication because I had to reschedule a appointment with Dr. Moody .. I've been out of work 6 months and now they are cutting me off my needed medication.. This place is racist they not to help a working man.. I will be placing a mal practice suite if I loose my job because the will not give me my required medication.. White people that work don't stand a chance with this place even with proper paperwork and documentation.. So Blacks get all y'all can get out of these people..They have no care about you, your life, your well being.. They have just give me trash since I've started... I had hope they pulled it straight from under me cause I'm a white person not a person of color.. Then they had the never to call security. Sorry is not the word for this place.. If you white find another doctor they are truly racist... SORRY MOTHER CLUCKERS!
Good place, impossible to contact by phone to make or cancel an appointment
My first doctor was so rude and nasty. People are just in the business for the money. They don't care about your health. They will leave you with no hope at all. It's sad but true. It's some doctors who love what they do others who just want the check. This world is just about money.
I've been seeing Deana freeman for a year if you have issues they set appointments for you weeks out or several days leaving me to go to urgent care for my needs, I've been calling everyday for a 9 days trying to get my lab results that I know are in bc I've been told but np Deana freeman has to look them over so finally she does then tells me to stop taking meds that she specifically told me take, speaking through Kaitlyn her assistant not speaking to me herself, so Kaitlyn had to put me on hold 8 times everytime I ask a question, which means Deana freeman was right there, she's rude, very short with you, doesn't listen to what your explaining without interjection, it shows she doesn't care about her patients and how they truly feel it's a shame to be treated like this at an establishment that should really be showing compassion please excuse my grammar I'm just in complete disbelief that I have to suffer the way I am because I have a physician that couldnt care any less if I stopped breathing today or yesterday
The only reason I am giving any star above one is because I got seen fast, but other than that, they did only blood work, which I had to have done again at the emergency room a week later because they didn t send it over. They didn t even send the referral to the specialist I plainly needed to see... they were going to mail it to me, despite the fact that I was in a lot of pain. Anyway, today, 9/15/19 I get a bill for the bloodwork that they did on 6/4/18. If I ever have to go to the doctor again, you can bet it won t be hope health.
The doctors here are great, wait times could definitely be better. I have at times waited for 3 hours before being seen. The people at the front desk are sweet as can be. But the on call after hours employees could definitely use some work. We were unaware that every hope health was going to be closed today (Wednesday October 7th). We planned to call to have my husbands heart medication refilled, he runs out tomorrow morning and takes this medication more than once a day. The on call operator was extremely rude. We were already stressed out and worrying about getting my husbands medication filled and I expressed that to her. If my husband doesn t have it filled in time he will end up in the hospital. She had absolutely no sympathy and was very short and rude with me on the phone. The best she could tell me was to call tomorrow and hopefully they can fill it in time or to just take him to the hospital. I was clearly upset and stressed out over this and that was the best she could say. I understand she may not have been able to do anything but she should have had a little sympathy and at least been friendly or acted like she cared. After she told me to take him to the hospital because she couldn t even put in a note for the doctor or anything at all. She hung up the phone while I was still talking. Highly disappointed over this. We had no way of knowing the office would be closed today and if we had known, this would have been avoided.
If I could give less than one star I would. Different provider in every visit. The initial provider was leaving next day had student NP. The provider never came in room. Can you say fraudulent billing?
They are GREAT with fitting people in to be seen at the last moment, especially children!
They take me to with people and the wait time is not long
My cousion was a patient of Cindy Lawimore back in 2015.She had what Lawimore diagnosed as a boil that was actually was a sweat gland that had swollen...She lanced it and cut three of her artiries under her left armpit...She had to be rush to Mc leod to under go emergency surgery to save her life..She almost bleed to death..She spent three days in the hospital she had to go to womb care doctors because, There was a 2inch hole under her arm..She had to go to physical therapy to learn how to use her arm again...Cindy Lawimore did not follow proper protcols she didnt consult the supervising Doctor,Nor did she had her to sign a consent form for treatment... Now why didnt Hope Health report this Nurse practionor to the Nursing Board every medical professional said, she should have sent my cousin to the Emergency Room and Cindy Lawimore should have been reported to the nursing board.Hope Health fired her without reporting this incident to the nursing board..Now she works at another Doctors office... Hope Health never acknowledged or apologized to her for almost killing her..She has gone through pain and suffering is scar for life..Instead of doing whats right they give Lawimore a clean record to work at another doctor office.. I feel she shouldn't be working as a medical professional she couldn't even do a simple lancing procedure.. All they want is the money they dont care about the health of their patients if they did...Hope Health would have reported her instead letting her off the hook to hurt someone eles..God dont like ugly...My cousin has documents of what happened to her...My thing is what if this happened to them or their family how would they feel...If anything when she went to Hope Health with a friend, she got dirty looks from the Ceo why he mad ??? Hope Health almost killed her and hes mad smh...Thats not Christian like.Except responsibility they should have reported that butcher to the nusing board period..What about the oath do no harm to patients???The statements that i have made is the truth..
I have been a patient here for a little over a year & love it. No matter what type of doctor you need you can find it here. In addition to that you can also get all kinds of tests done here as well. I see a pain mgmt doctor, a chiroprator & a counselor. They also have a pharmacy ! I strongly recommend Hope Health for all of your medical needs. You will also find the staff very pleasant & helpful.
My family sees Dr. Lanning, Dr. Hanna, and Dr. Foxworth. We love all three and the fact that we all get our care in the same building. It is also very helpful that we can be seen on Saturdays when needed.
do not take the time to actually help you with your problems, you wait around for about two hours then talk to the doc for less than ten minutes, it's extremely hard to get in contact with your doctor, and when you have to go some Where else to find out you have a medical issue, (that you already told your Dr. Was a concern), they should be ashamed, I have had ovarian cysts for well over a year and am in extreme pain, I can't have them removed for awhile, and what does my doctor do to help ease any uncomfort and pain, nothing. It took dr.licari a split second to spit out some kind of medication for anxiety and chronic depression, it made me shakey and extremely suicidal. I've been battling this issue with Drs for way longer than a person should have to. A person goes to the doctor not to be miserable, and my experience at hope health has been nothing but. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
Excellent clinique, people are very kindy ready to work with you
Brenda Thorntom is always friendly (never has an attitude) and professional when I call. Brenda truly listens, always finds a way to make me laugh and provides excellent customer service.
NP Deanna McHugh and her staff is informative and very helpful. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
When I see the doctor it is fine but last visit I saw the nurse practioner and she spent 45 minutes telling me they would only deal with two ailments because of time restrictions. Although she spent 45 minutes wasting time complaining about it. I will be checking to make sure I don't get pushed off on her again. Also phone calls are NEVER returned.
New facility is very nice...Dr Kozacki and her nurses Sam and Stacy are wonderful. Dr Kozacki is a wonderful, caring and great doctor!!
Dr. K is why we are here and why we will stay. Staci is hands down the BEST nurse she has ever had and we've been with Dr. K for 13 years. We've had a hard year and probably haven't been the easiest patients, but we've always been met with kindness, understanding, and honesty. Dr. K is one in a million!
My personal doctor is Dr. Bingham. A wonderful and very precise care giver. As far as the overall service goes, the staff is very courteous and professional.
Great place to work and excellent place to receive healthcare!
Ongoing issues since day one !!... I would not recommend this place... Find somewhere else.. Doctors and staff are not component. I have Hep C ... Nurse and Doctor stated, it was OK to drink everyday ??
Thanks to the dentist and Laura Boyington at Hope Health for getting my mom in so efficiently when she had a horrible tooth ache! Laura personally contacted us at 9 pm at night to get my mom in first thing the next morning. Other places were way expensive and longer waits! She was beyond helpful and amazing and we are so grateful. We will definitely tell others! :)
I have been going for years, and every pay scale I do, it gets higher, but my income is the same. I cannot afford the fee, which is hard for me to make appointments. I'm working 2 jobs to make ends meet. Ive asked for a doctor. I have severe asthma. Every time I do have a chance to make a visit, I get a five minute visit from my nurse practitioner. She never checks me, I never once had her throughly touch me. She constantly prescribes pills and send me other places, which is more money that I don't have. I had to end up cancelling another appointment and now she no longer wants to see me, and that was beyond my control. So I am out of breathing meds, and now for me it's emergency rooms until I can afford medical insurance to actually see a doctor. You really pay money if you have a job, with no medical insurance at Hopehealth. They may help other people, but I wasn't.
Have been here twice now once for me and my husband. The waiting times are very long way after our appt times. The doctors didn't seem to care at all about our well being. I was supposed to have many calls back from the scheduler and still have not got any call backs. All of the people who welcome you when you first walk in are very nice and welcoming tho. Will not be going back to hope health they sure we're not any help at all !!
While we live in basic good health, we have found that the facilities, medical staff and support staff are all top-notch and compassionate.
The doctors and staff were very nice and took time to explain to my 85 year old mother issues concerning her health and diet.
Went to this place because they were the only doctors office that had appointments available within two weeks. On the day of my appointment I was trying to discuss my issues to my doctor when I was told there was nothing he could do for me. He then instructed me that I wasn't going to be charged and I could go. As I left I asked for my $20 co pay back. Before receiving that the doctor yelled out from behind the counter that he would only return it if I promised not to come back. Very bad experience and will never return. There is several other great doctors in Florence that have a lot more experience. This place was not booked for a reason and now I see why.
I see nurse practitioner there. Have been having some issues. But seem like I am not being heard. Went there a couple weeks ago with symptoms and then again this Monday same symptoms was treated like nothing was wrong even as I was there vomiting in office. Two days later ended in ER with dehydration. Call them today only to get just stay hydrated and still have same issues as before. They do not listen just feel all is made up in head even though signs show differently.
I have been going to hopehealth for about two years.Dr John Bingham is one of the best doctors I have ever had.he cares about helping people and will go out his way to do so.the only reason it's not 5 stars is because when you call to talk to the doctor they never tell the doctor you called . really need to fix this
This is the third doctor I have had that has quit or left since I became a patient at Hope Health. The nurses will not return your phone calls and the wait time is very long.
I would give negative stars if I could. This place is a JOKE. My daughter had a new patient appointment to see Claire Proffer, for shoulder pain, and waited for almost 4 hours to get seen, got told to wait for a call for a referral to get an MRI, and to schedule a 2 week follow up. That call didn't come, so I called back to get told that the referral was never sent to the right person to send said referral. So I got that straight, then got called and told that it would be 3 weeks to get the MRI, and that my daughter couldn't be seen until 3 weeks after that. So I talked to a gal in the office, asking what I should do about the pain in the mean time, the pain has gotten worse since she was seen and given a prescription steroid. I got told to take her to the er, that she couldn't be seen without the MRI, and that no other doctor could see her, because Proffer "knows her". She saw my daughter one time, she's going to read a note. So then, the day before the MRI the imaging place calls me and tells me that the insurance has yet to approve the MRI, and that they had to cancel the appointment. So I call my insurance company. They tell me they requested more info from Proffer and have yet to get a response. I call the office and tell them what the insurance carrier said. They tell me my daughter is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow...no joke, I said that already. After about 4 times of going around in circles, I get put to a voicemail of a nurse. I left a message and never got a call back. So I just called again, and was told that Proffer would be calling me. Awesome. IDK why, the Insurance carrier is going to deny the claim because they didn't get a response in time. I'm going to take my family to Brandi Reynolds, who I go to. She's located pretty far out in Pamplico, but it's worth the drive to me. I could drive an hour and it would be worth it, I'd still get home sooner than if I stayed with Hope Health, AND my family will also get actual medical care, not whatever it is you want to call this. ***Update*** I called again yesterday, because I didn't hear back from Dr. Proffer, and I was told that someone had called me back the day before, at the number on file. I had left my work number on the message because my cell phone was dead. I was told that the nurse put notes on my daughter's chart saying Dr. Proffer doesn't do "Peer to Peer" (which basically means she won't speak to my insurance company to provide further information, which means my daughter doesn't get her MRI and the claim is denied). They said they would leave another message for Dr. Proffer to call me, that she doesn't close until 7:30 and I would hear from her that night. This was 5/24/17 at 4:45 pm. It is now 12:42 pm on 5/25/17 and I have YET to get a phone call. It is absolutely negligible that a so called medical provider does not provide actual medical care. She said that my daughter's shoulder was "crunchy" and it needed an MRI, and prescribed her prednisone. It's obviously an issue, but nobody is trying to help. I'm thinking I might have to call a patient advocate. I won't put up with it, and I will leave the practice, however I will NOT go quietly. This is absolutely unacceptable.
This place is horrible! Since I ve been dealing with Hope Health I ve changed doctors 3 to 4 times! No patient shouldn t be changing doctors like that! Now they telling me it s a 45 day wait until the doctor approves a new patient! In the meantime I already been to the hospital 3 times! I can t stand NONE of the secretary that answers the phone! One lady hang up on me and as usual they always have an attitude! Nobody never calls back I ve actually been turned away for an appointment ! Then my current/previous doctor doesn t take nothing I say into consideration! All she does is tell me what I can get OTC in that case I can be my own doctor!
The treatment I endured at this place is disgusting. Sonja Scott was my primary care practitioner for almost three years until their true hateful nature showed through. I brought a form from the DMV (state agency) to be filled out by my More
My wife started looking at places to go get better treatment for my back issues. With the other places she called, I felt like we were getting the run around or not being given the right direction to talk to a Dr or be seen by one. Then my wife called hope health. She talked to Richard Clowney. He was so concerned about her feelings, and the pain I was in. His kindness for caring, respect, and gratitude gave us hope. He told us how great the place is, and the help we could get. We decided to take another chance to see what hope health could do. We went there and talked to Richard Clowney face to face. This guy really cares about our health and feelings, his smile and sign of compassion is amazing. He helped me in a wheelchair then sat my wife down to talk to us after hearing how much we have been through. He told us what to do, pushed my wheelchair for me so my wife didn't have to. He walked with us to show who we needed to talk to. We felt blessed, and so amazed. I want to say thanks to Richard Clowney from our deepest heart, we thank you so much for you giving us hope at hope health.
If it wasn't for Richard Clowney, we wouldn't have given another doctor a chance and I would probably still be searching for help. Thanks Hope Health for hiring such a great employee.
Beautiful facility...but the best thing about this place is the staff. Professional, very friendly and very helpful. You can tell that they love their job and working at Hope Health
I had an appointment on December 23 at 7 pm (tonight). I called several times during the day to see if they had a cancellation so I could come earlier. Around 5:10, they called to tell me to come on in immediately so I did. Arrived around 5:30 barely 20 minutes later. It is now 7:24 and I have yet to be seen. In other words, I could have waited til 7 as I have spent an hour and a half sitting in pain in the lobby when I could have just as well sat in pain on my comfortable chair, dry and at home until 7.
Hope health has been a blessing to me in many ways Dr Mary Mitchell and Mary Ann Ham have gone above there duties I will refer every one to Hope Health Thanks for being there for me
Love walking into there and seeing Ms. Ruby Graham. She makes you feel so welcome with her warm smiles and kind words. She makes you feel better about being seen for an appointment. Stop by the desk if your ever feel blue she will truly brighten your spirits.
Absolutely love the pediatrics. Dr. Foxworth is great. Wasn't exactly pleased that I took off work and found out my daughter's dental appointment was changed. The date was locked in my phone before leaving the receptionist desk.
Dr Alan Barret is the best he makes things seem Minuscule.. everyone is always so nice to me when I visit I called my Dr yesterday told him bout an issue an he was able to see me the next day I would say that s a short notice. He is very helpful
The worst doctors office EVER!!! If you are ill and need help DON T waste your time or your money! You will be sent home feeling the same way you felt when you came in and the doctors take weeks with labs results. So your just really left to die!!! I repeat do not make the mistake of seeing anyone in this office!
Give two stars because director of guest experience lied to us (I have evidence) and delayed our time. It was comfortable talked to him, but He s A man of words and not of deeds.
This place made my health care unaffordable. I was paying for private insurance through my work and every time I had an office visit I of course had a co-pay and on top of the copay I had a deductible. I had to go to several visits a month that cost me time missed from work and several charges against my deductible that i just could not afford. I had to drop my insurance because it did not seem to be paying for anything because every time I had an office visit I owed more money. After paying $1000 a month for insurance you don't want to have to go to your Dr. appointment and hear you owe more than the $25 co-pay when nothing has happened but them checking my blood pressure and writing prescriptions. I am 42 and they never even did a physical but my insurance has been billed like crazy and I owe them $130 for something. I will just find a Dr that will let me go in like a normal patient and not try to stack bills on me for unnecessary procedures and overcharge for a office visit that all they do is check my blood pressure and temperature.
I have been trying to get someone to call me back about my referral to an oral surgeon for the last year they kept playing around with me so I'm gonna call another dentist and have them pull my tooth after I get antibiotics is pathetic then when I saw him over a month ago I told him I needed it and he said I didnt I will be taking my business else where hope heath dentist department sucks I will never refer any one there and to which I already told my nurse practitioner about it and I'm making sure they never send anyone over there oh and by the way it's a 3 to 6 month wait for an appointment the other dentist I can be seen the next day..
Check in is always smooth. They are very friendly. Dr is patient and explains everything well.
I have been a patient of Dr Kozacki for years if not for her I would be dead yes sometimes the wait period is long but you have to consider that unlike the McLeod Dr she does not hurdle you in like cattle but takes her time with you
I would have given 5 stars but I do agree with other reviewers that their communication system is lacking they have one central phone number and call backs are tough.
I also would have given zero stars if I was reviewing individual Drs because I was also a patient of Dr Modi the one and only psychiatrist he is the worst Dr ever he speaks broken English very hard to understand he had me on a medication that I did not like the side effects of and it took me 6months and genesite testing that showed that med was wrong for me before he changed it yet he doesn t mention that in his report instead he put that I was combative and aggressive the was 3 years ago ad I mentioned earlier Dr Kozacki caught a ruptured appendix in time to save me otherwise I would be dead shortly after surgery I had appt with Dr Modi and became upset to make a long story short I became very upset in his office and the next thing I knew I get a certified letter stating I was being discharged as a patient because they wanted a harmonious atmosphere
Now I ask you if you can t have a melt down from all the stress you have been under in your psychiatrist office where should you have it I was not around other patients or in the lobby this was in an office if a staff that works at behavioral health does not know when someone gets like that to let them calm down and then talk to them reasonably they are in the wrong business this is just ridicoulous. Not wanting to end on a sour note overall I think Hopehealth is a great place and if you really want bad go to McLeod and then you will beg to be seen at Hopehealth so like me don t let one bad experience, person, or Dr let you think of it as a bad place yes Dr Kozacki is the best but Dr Modi is the worst but overall they are great
I went in to see Dr. Debbie Hopla after a car accident. I was very impressed with her attentiveness and willingness to explain. After a very thorough examination, Dr. Hopla then discussed ways to overcome PTSD after an accident. Her tips were very helpful as I have overcome my fear of that intersection. Thank you Dr. Hopla!
Very friendly and professional. They take the "pain" out of health care.
Dr.Hoyle is my doctor at Hope Health. He is really good. He always listens to my problems and then we discuss a solution! His staff are so courteous and always happy! I love Hope Health!
Recently I was hospitalized for 5 days. I was discharged on a Sun and by Mon morning I was again sick. I called my Dr on Mon, 3 times on Tues and once on Wed. morning. NEVER received a response back and ended up back in the hospital for dehydration. Horrible disregard for patients. I'll never ever seek treatment there again. I was a patient there over 10 years.
**I finally got a call back, the day after I made this post** It was not from the Doctor or nurse or anyone that cares about my actual health. It was from the man that handles bad reviews!! Just one more thing to prove they don't care about their patients BUT do care about bad reviews!!!
I had a great experience here. I was given info to get on a sliding scale. I saw np Sonya Scott. She was amazing I would recommend her to anyone she followed through on all the problems I was having.
I had an appointment with dr berry in pain manegment..the prescription she wrote for me cost over $1000 to fill.i am low income on the sliding pay scale..when i called the dr to ask them to write something i could afford as I habr no insurence she refused..why write a prescription for someone they can not afford to fill...i waited 2 months to be seen and it did absolutly no good...if you dont have insurence there is no point in comeing here they dont care about you just want to get you in and out...the dr didnt even tell me what inwas being prescibed and when I asked i was told nothing...i wasted a whole day to be seen by the dr just to be prescribed a 2 week supply of med that cost ober $1000 dollars to be filled that I simply cannot afford...whi can afford $1000 dollars out of pocket for 2 weeks of meds..
I am very pleased with my doctor Deana Freeman she pays attention to my needs and is very quick. I also recently started seeing the dentist doctor Paul Gwengi-Anam and he is AMAZING!!! He has changed my life, he is heaven sent. I was so afraid of the dentist but since I've met him I lay back with ease. I have referred my whole family lol. Thank you so much.
I would write this myself but unfortunately I passed away 2 days after seeing my so called doctor. (I am his mother, speaking for him) I was prescribed 2 extremely potent drugs and 2 days later I had a seizure which led to a months coma in the hospital. Thank you Dr. Barrett for , well nothing. Since now I m dead. Yes I was an actual patient, feel free to look into. The fact that no one has responded after a week of being posted makes me sick.
Awful service and rudeness, need to consider patient needs instead of their own, listen to the patients complaints. Not all patients are here for drugs . Stop ignoring them and sending them home critically ill . Which results with them ending up in the hospital or even death.
Wake up help your patients, please give Mary Mitchell extra practitioner training. make use of that nice facility instead of letting it go to waste after all those same patients paid for it.
My experience so far is very excellent...Dr Deana McHugh was very concerned about my suffering from uterine fibroids...And nurse practitioner Dominique Speaks was very nice as well and showed concern concern ...Thanks so much for helping people who have no insurance like myself
The staff is wonderful. Friendly atmosphere and my doctor is wonderful
Sorry place to keep a Dr..I've been through 4 to 6 pcp drs and
psych drs when our drs quit and they place new ones without giving patients a warning at all!! I will no longer be giving them my business I warn you all. Once you are on a med regimen they will not help you to keep it
Because they get it done they r very polite and nice lov it here
Although I like Miss Julie Gage well enough, this place does not return your calls and on average hold time is at least 10 minutes. Not good and I am in the process of looking for somewhere else to go, this is ridiculous
Horribly LONG wait time every time. I have come at all different times if the day and no matter what, yhe appt takes 2.5 hours!
Medical errors! At a follow up appt, the tech came into the room to do an EKG but we were here for wrist pain! When we questioned her, she was very rude stating that the doctor ordered it. We insisted that this could not be correct and she rudely left to "tell the doctor". She came back in several minutes later stating that she "came to the wrong room"!
Have not had a good experience yet.
I have been a patient for 5 months with Dr. Barrett who has been very patient and understanding to my needs. He actually listens to what I say. However one of the nurses there[Shala]
who is in charge of filing the forms for me to get my pain medicine is not so understanding. I am on disability and have some very serious health issues. All she has to do is contact my insurance company and get the necessary forms approved. For 4 months now she has told me the forms have been approved. Without it I have to pay out of pocket which I cannot afford yet she seems to be very unsympathetic to my needs. After contacting my ins. company I found that she had just contacted them that morning when she had told me the day before that it was approved. Again I had to pay for it myself. I was always courteous to her but when I call she is always rude and short with me. She even hung up on me the last time I spoke with her. A person with that kind of attitude should not be in the medical profession where you are paid to help people.
very awesome experience. My children enjoyed their visits....Thank you all for making it easy....
The chiropractor Petal is great. But the receptionist sometimes has an attitude and always looks discusted when ever someone is at her desk and is veryyy rushy. Watch out...
I only brought my wife for ancapointment, but staff was great and she was taken back immediately. They seem to care.
I have been trying for over a week to get someone in their dental department to return a call... this is pathetic. 5 days straight I have called.
**Update**
Someone finally called me a week before I left town to go on holiday. I had already found someone. They were very kind and gave me their name and personal office number, in case I did not work out with the dentist I had chose instead.
