Incredible 1 & 2 lb smoked prime rib! Great homemade fries!

Authentic taste and feel. Just needs more seating for shorter wait times. I always recommend this to friends looking for BBQ food!

Brisket and ribs here are amazing. Can't wait to go back. My favorite BBQ in the area. Just wish they didn't get rid of the burnt ends.

Truly tasty smoked BBQ: the turkey was moist and full of flavor, wings were smoked and sauced well, Mac n' cheese was creamy and had a little kick to it, ribs had just the right amount of bark while still being tender, and the crispy pork belly will taunt me in my dreams. We've been seeking good BBQ in New England and have finally found a place deserving five stars!

The waitress sat us down,today on Suniat aroun 2pm.She came back and told us there are no Ribs,No pork bellies,No Provolone Sausage,No Nachos and most of the desserts are out.We waited half an hour and now not much available.
There was NO Smoke flavor in the place.It looks as if everything was baked.I asked for butter and they took a pat and cut it into pea size pieces.The macaroni and cheese has a micovaved cheese sauce in a tiny Ramkin.The side of coleslaw when you dumped it on the plate was about 2Tablespoons.Could they spare it.The brisket tasted like pot roast and the wings Had no smoke flavor.We sniffed our clothes and No Smoke at All.
We felt so taken advantage of.
We don't know what happened
But This isn't Right to do to Customers.

Quick service. We ordered the nachos....we got like insta-nachos. Ribs were perfect...and I mean perfect. Brisket was rubbed with a delicious peppery rub. Exactly what I expected from a Texas brisket. No sauce needed for this Q, but their "Original" and "Carolina" sauces were perfectly balanced and, when used, accented their meats well. Mac n cheese, good. Cornbread, different but good. Perfect portion sizes. Prices a little north than I like to see, but honestly, worth it. This is quality Q folks. Our server, Erica, was attentive and helpful, and greeted us quickly. So, why 4 stars? Bathrooms need some attention. (Honest opinion) That being said, be sure to add this to your To Do Q list! Well done Hoodoo.

Great BBQ food. Brisket is on point. No BBQ sauce though. You have to ask for it separately. Otherwise great authentic BBQ food.

I entered the place and they told me they had no chicken and crackling pork belly witch is there star peace in there menu. Water taste really funky but the Corn bread and fries were good . This place is not what I remember it use too be. It was so good before. This is the second time they let me down. I came here with high expectations. I ate here alot, But the last two time I was here was a let down. This review hurts and also will be bitter sweet memories.

Best barbecue I've had in the northeast. Rivals what I've had in Texas. Great atmosphere,food and service. Be prepared because it's always busy and parking is limited.

The food is hands down fantastic. Expect a longer wait on the weekends (well worth the wait).

Solid BBQ. The brisket was one of the best we've had but other items were a little lackluster.

My husband and I really wanted to love this place. We had their award winning wings at Wing Fest and had to try them out. We met friends here about two weeks ago and was told there would be an hour and a half wait. We left and went to Wire Mill BBQ in Redding instead.
Last night we tried again, and while there was only a 10 minute wait, nothing was that great. The service was good but the food wasn't anything to write home about. It LOOKED great, like something from a magazine shoot, but the flavor really left something to be desired. BBQ is the kind of food that should be so good that your eyes roll back in your head every time you take a bite.
To make matters worse, our meal for two was $92. We knew going in that we would be spending a lot, but with how subpar the food is, this was just adding insult to injury.
We will never come here again, and instead go back to Wire Mill where the food is half the price but twice as good.

The food was plain tasteless had to add my own condiments when I got home the coleslaw was brown mac and cheeses taste fake and for 72 dollars I spent for 2 people was a waste and if it wasnt soo far I would have taken my whole order back the only thing I did like was the bread pudding that was my 1st time there and my last time there

Our favorite local joint. They make you feel like family here. The food is consistent and always delicious. The nachos and wings are our favorites and the desserts cannot be missed. Be prepared to wait, but it's always worth it. Love that they are always trying new techniques and flavors. We are regulars!

I took a birthday party of 6 fourteen year old boys. The wait is long and there are no reservations for less than 10 people. Food was good and plentiful. I have been to barbecue in Memphis Texas and across the South. This place stands up. The boys we're not adventurous enough with their orders but left happy and full

From the beans to the Brisket, this place is a must eat. If you're a BBQ fan and have ever eaten BBQ in the great State of Texas you will be pleasantly surprised! Kudos to the owners for replicating Texas in the small town of Danbury.

Food was amazing and the staff was super helpful and kind. Service was very quick too. I got the HOGZILLA and it was honestly the best food I've had in a long time. The Front Porch Iced Tea (peach moonshine & peach sweet tea) was delicious. Mixed perfect. 10/10. Also, try the Carolina Gold sauce they have on the table, incredible.

Best ribs, brisket and cornbread in Connecticut. A hidden gem in Ridgefield CT. Can't wait to return and try more things on the menu.

The food and the atmosphere is very good! The meats are smoked on premise and seasoned perfectly. The beer selection along with the cocktails are all very good.

Great BBQ and with Nod Hill brewing down the street, it's a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday. Whats better than beer and BBQ?

We always enjoy the BBQ at Hoodoo. Favorites are the Beef Rib, Chicken, Pork Ribs, and Pit Beans. Beer and cocktails always good too. Very busy on the weekends but staff hustles and it is sooo worth the wait. A+

Food was amazing and well worth the 40 min Drive. Our waitress could have been more attentive but overall great place for the whole family. We will def be be back to try more things

Had the brisket, pork belly and tater salad which are always awesome. Being Thursday, had to try the prime rib. Sweet baby Jesus in the manger it was #%!?ing awesome!

Nice atmosphere. Food was generic bbq with decent quality. 2 stars just because I went there with high Hope's and left disappointed. The mimosa was great because I had a 40 oz of Miller high life.

OMG!!! The food here is amazing. Prices are good. But the food is worth the trip. The restaurant Is very clean and cozy. The waitress Kelly was very attentive and sweet. I definitely recommend this bbq place.

Parking - Strange setup altogether. Its everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Have fun.

The Wait - I don't know if they are understaffed or generally unorganized but we waited for about 20 minutes before anyone visited the table, and that was only because we asked.

The Staff - Friendly and distracted. (Order your 2nd beer when you get your first). We ended up chatting with the manager who was super friendly and generally helpful.

Food - Decent. The pulled pork is easily the best Ive had in CT. Everything else misses the mark if you've had BBQ anywhere in the mid-west.

Atmosphere - Fun and Clean

Verdict - The optimist in me feels it was a good experience overall, but in reality it was just like the the food, decent (and a little pricey for those without a Ridgefield income).

Breast BBQ in or near Danbury. They are a bit pricey but the food is worth it. The brisket odd pertussis the best I've ever had. If you haven't been here you need to try it!!

Disapointing - - way too few places to park, a 45 minute wait from 6:30 to 7:00, and then they were out on many items. To be fair, the food was good, but not worth the inconvienence.
