These people claim to represent Time Warner Cable (TW). Not long ago I switched from AT&T/Direct TV to Time Warner. It was the biggest mistake I made this year, maybe decade. Time Warner delivered nothing that they promised. I went without a phone for 2 months (until I switched back to AT&T), what was supposed to be "Whole Home TV" was a cheezy entry level system with a single DVR and no "interconnectiblilty" between TVs. My wife was bed ridden--this is the why we switched from ATT. I record for her and she watched when she woke up. TW put 'Whole Home" it in writing so misunderstanding on my part isn't an issue. We thought the faster TW internet speed would be an improvement but what we got didn't work a bit. Eastern Account System evidently wants me to pay more than the $232 I already got swindled out of (paid in advance) and for which I got absolutely nothing. I switched back to ATT/Direct TV after about the 3rd or 4th lie from Time Warner. Too bad Time Warner wasn't half as good at doing what they say they're going to do as hiring people like Eastern to pester you. The person I spoke with wouldn't say, I can only hope--$232 wasn't enough for me to hassle over to get a refund of my money. Evidently keeping their small amount of ill gotten gains is worth it to them. Hopefully, this is for court though----I'm retired and have all the time in the world....I look forward to it.

This company is the absolute most atrocious company I have ever worked for. The managers are useless in every definition of the word possible. They offer no help, they gain an attitude if you go to find them and ask a question. The company shuts off the water at 4:30 PM so if you don't have a container for water than you better be prepared to suffer dehydration during your shift. Incompetence is beyond abundant with this employer. I would not recommend working for this company even under the most desperate of situations. There should be a formal complaint against this company for how it's managers speak to and treat the employees, not to mention shutting off the water machines should be a crime but they seemingly know how to stay right at the legal line for mistreating employees.
Don't ever work for or with this employer.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Promises to return calls go un-returned. Their representatives have disconnected calls on me more than once before I get a chance to respectfully discuss my case. I'm talking, like, 45 seconds into the conversation. Completely frustrating experience from beginning to ongoing.

EAS has been horrible to deal with. I was made aware of a debt that EAS did not contact me regarding. They said they called and left messages, but Verizon had no record of their call. They said that they sent letters, but none were received. Their predatory tactics and deception are used to squeeze every cent out of their "debtors". A horrible company to work with, and in the future I would not work with any company that uses them for debt collection.

I got a call from this debt-collector. I usually brush these off and hang up because the possibility of fraud or scams, but this time I decided to log into xfinity to double check.

It was, in fact, not paid and had been over 5 months. I had completely forgotten about it.

If you do get a call, just log into your account and you should see the direct amount quoted to you. They also didn't ask any suspicious verification questions like SSN, or personal contacts.

Just pay your bills folks.

I feel as though this company is getting a very bad reputation by the reviews listed here. I work for a different branch than the Sandy Hook location and work with the Management Teams. Since I have begun working there they have been very professional and extremely helpful with helping me towards my career goals as it pertains to this industry. Further, I know that they go out of their way to help employee's and work with school schedules. This company does an admirable job. Now the nature of a call center is dealing with people past due and trying to assist them to be restored to service. This is not the most comfortable situation for most of our customers. Often due to choices they become ardently upset. Often the situation is a combination of stresses in their life and it comes out at those within the collections parameters. So, most calls begin with a bit of a negative feeling at the outset. However, our branch and team really do attempt to help customers to the best of our ability. And, if a situation occurs where an employee is found doing something deceptive or being rude the matter is handled Immediately. If a customer is treated rudely it is a VERY serious offense and Eastern treats it as such. I am sorry to see so many reviews on here in a downcast nature. For our branch we are attempting to change this persona and greet our customers with the utmost respect and attempt within the rules of our clients provide them with solutions to their individual situations.

THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE ON THE PHONE. I HAVE CALLED THEM ABOUT SOME ERROR OF A COLLECTION ON AN ACCOUNT I DON'T EVEN HAVE --- I HAVE CALLED NOW 8 TIMES!! THEIR METHOD IS TO PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR EXACTLY 10 MINUTES THEN MAKE YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE. I HAVE DONE THIS ALL DAY, 8 TIMES NOW. I AM CALLING THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE IN COLORADO AND REPORTING THEM AS THIS CAN ONLY BE A SCAM. DISGUSTING INTERFERENCE WITH LIFE AND PREPOSTEROUS GARBAGE LACK OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! I called after I received a derogatory account, after the representative said why would I do something to help your personal credit score. We tried calling you and that is enough. Terrible organization, don't understand how they are a debt collector. They should be shut down, clearly AT&T thinks they should be.

I received a derogatory mark on my credit from them. I didn't know what it was for. No notice was given. The woman said I needed to make payment and then she'll remove it. I had to look on my credit to even see that I had a bill. have insurance so I shouldn't have been charged and this place should have given me notice.

I am writing this on behalf of a Senior Citizen whom Eastern Account System is abusing by refusing to remove their collection notice after the debt was paid to the original creditor and the original creditor has placed in writing the request to remove all negative collection activity on behalf of the customer. In addition Eastern Account System is falsely reporting that the debt is not paid to the credit bureaus despite proof of payment and the original creditor correspondence requesting the cessation of all collection activity from Eastern Account System and the complete removal of negative reporting. The NYS Attorney General, FCC, Public Service Commission, Fair Credit Reporting Practices Act, and his Assemblyman have all been contacted for assistance. The repeated behavior of Eastern Account System refusal to cooperate with their account (original debtor) to resolve this matter is unconscionable.

The account was legitimate for me. I was a tad bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, but I called and received A+ service. The wait time to speak to a rep was short. Once on the phone with rep, the call was quick. I received the receipt via Email as promised. No problems.

This place was such a waste of time for me. Worst calling center I've EVER seen! The training is a joke and the supervisors and trainers are rude idiots. The upper management pretends to be nice to your face and then writes you up for stupid things like dress code and leaving your cubicle to use the bathroom. And as far as the cell phone thing goes...if they dont trust us then they shouldn't hire random people like scumbags and lowlifes and drug addicts who WILL steal someones identity through other methods, like writing them down on word programs for later use. If you have no job, you're better off collecting unemployment than working at this place!

Completely unprofessional! Reporting a $160 balance to credit bureau during a pandemic while payments were being made! They provided NO notification of doing this and said it was because regular payments were not set up. This was never at anytime discussed with me. The high school dropouts they hire have ZERO customer service skills.

Terrible company. They called me about a collection and demanded I give them my social security number. When I told them to send me mail correspondence to identify who they were and where this (bogus) collection was from, the guy on the phone who refused to give me a name and/or employee number stated Were not doing that and hung up on me. When I try to call the number it is listed as no longer active.

I m still fighting with crediting agencies trying to figure out where this collection came from. I had an 830 score and now have a 702 for a collection listed at $122. Going to ruin people s lives for $100? Cmon.

This company is absolute trash and probably a scam. When I search their address the building comes up as Space for lease which I thought was odd. I might go there in person to speak with someone in regards to this matter tomorrow. See if light can t be shed on this ordeal

They have some on the most disgusting, miserable, nasty reps I've ever encountered. I get they are trying to collect a debt, however, they don't know people's circumstance or situation. I left a voice mail for a "Charles" two weeks ago and never received a call. I hope none of them ever have to endure hardship or a chronic illness which would prevent them from doing anything in life they would normally be able to do. There is no empathy or understanding. They are miserable individuals!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could I would give the highest NEGATIVE rating any company could ever get. They deserve it. This is absolutely, unequivocally, most definitely the WORST COMPANY EVER to have to deal with. I have been on, and off the phone with them over the past several days. I have been LAUGHED AT, HUNG UP ON, and PLACED ON HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR.... all for a "debt" I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT! They absolutely REFUSE to remove the negative remark from my credit score, and WILL NOT provide a letter of deletion like literally EVER OTHER COMPANY IN THE UNITED STATES!!! I reported them, and their email exchange with the person who was supposed to help solve the issue to the better business bureau.

Well, I am a lawyer, and I know the law, and I am taking this company to court. Why? BECAUSE I CAN.

Customer service reps were some of the best people...

Customer service reps were some of the best people I've ever worked with. I wish I could say the same about upper management. I worked at Eastern for 6 months, collected an average of 5,000 dollars a day for the company. I went on by teaching other co-workers of mine how to collect massive amounts of money for the company. By 3 months I was running around the floor taking problem calls from angry customers asking to speak with a "supervisor". I got good at de-escalating these phone calls and turning them into payments. Something that no one in upper management can do regardless of what they say. Towards the end of my Eastern Account Systems Experience, I was helping 2 trainers train 45 new employee's. Most of the new Eastern employee's were very nervous and overwhelmed and didn't get a well enough grasp about taking calls. I successfully helped all these individuals and are all collecting money for Eastern. I even had the pleasure in seeing one of my trainee's collect a $900 dollar payment.

At the End of my 6 month term at Eastern, I helped train 6 training groups and got over 25 employee's collecting an average of $25,000.00 a day, while collecting an average of $5,000 per day just by taking problems calls. Unfortunately, I got emailed by my temp agency on a Thursday that my contract with Eastern has been terminated effective immediately. I did not read this email until Monday night. Now, that means I worked Friday and Monday without anyone saying anything to me about me being fired. Keep in mind, I was on a first name basis with everyone in upper management. I never had any attendance problems or compliance with company policy problems ether. I was never issued a written or verbal warning. I was also getting hazed during my beginning stages of Eastern by a "lead" in upper management named Chris Colozzi. Lucky for Chris, I'm a civilized human being and desire no retaliation for the disrespect.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Eastern. I got to work with some great people that I'm lucky to consider my friends. I believe that Eastern upper management is a joke. I believe Chris Colozzi is under achieving half a retard. Eastern has been built for failure and wont last long. I believe in Karma. What goes around comes around. Regardless, I'm in a better place now :].

Placed a charge off on my credit profile that was a fraudulently opened account with Comcast that Comcast stated two years ago was a mistake. Would not send me proof of the charge. Forced me to spend 4 hours at my county sheriff's office filing a fraud report for an account previously reported and accepted by Comcast as fraud. Clearly these people buy garbage accounts for pennies on the dollar and seek to extort people who are too buys to spend 4 hours to prove innocence. Terrible practice. Should be sanctioned.
