Went recently for lunch. My 2 guest and I loved our meals....plus the jar of bacon wasn t too bad either! Friendly staff and good beer selection. We enjoy it each time we go!

Food was dried out, bread was burnt and I got greens instead of the described fries. Also kitchen looked dirty and unorganized from the take out window. Not sure if I'll try again for those prices

Love this place, everything is always made right. The pork belly and brisket are to die for. Also the wings are the best I've had yet.

This is our go to bbq place. Never a bad meal here. Have had just about everything on the menu and it is always great. The brisket is juicy and tender, pork belly is out of this world. Great beer selection. Desserts? Amazing!!!

Family style serving. Nice atmosphere. Great food. Buffalo Wings and Beef Brisket are great.

Been here a bunch. Have literally eaten everything 5 times. By far the best/most authentic barbeque in Connecticut. Go here and you won't be disappointed. Parking is tough though.

By far the absolute best BBQ I have ever had. The servings are good and big. A great variety of bbq meats to choose from. Can't go wrong with anything from here. The pulled pork was amazing. The nachos with pork....the best I have ever tried. I got the hogzilla, one bite and I was whisked to pork heaven. The crispy pork belly was done to perfection. Only problem was so much great food to try, not enough room in my belly! Must go back for more. A MUST HAVE at least once in your life. There can be a bit of a wait at times, but it is well worth the wait. Go hungry, leave stuffed and happy. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, nice lil bar, overall an amazing BBQ joint! Can't wait to go back.

Hell yeah.THE FOOD HERE IS BOOOMB.. Its Ridgefield tho so if you're brown just know what you're getting yourself into LMAO the waiters are nice but like...not all of em.

Sometimes the food is really good and fresh, sometimes it isn't, but the service is always bad.

It was okay. The Brisket was great. It was really tender. The chicken was good too. We also had the Mac & cheese & potato salad. The Mac/cheese is made w/pimento cheese and potato salad is heavy on onions. It was a decent experience but i wouldn't go back. The waiters act like they was bothered by us. It was very expensive for what you get. All offers are served on one tray.

HOODOO!!! if I could give this place a 9 star I would, the only thing that was missing was out door seating. Love the summer and A/C is not my friend. This Sunday me and my girlfriend took a nice up. We ordered the fried tomatoes, a Whole pound of brisket, beef rib, corn and corn bread. SO GOOD. From entering the establishment with a warm greeting to leaving with a, have a great day and thank you for come from the young staff I was very happy with my experience and will definitely be going back. Thank you for the great meal with food to take home

The BBQ here is pretty legit, probably the best in place Connecticut for this type of food. Brisket and pork belly are must trys. The drink cocktails are very good as well... although a tad on the sweet side for some people (southern style). Great place, we will be back .

Things I liked:
1) The brisket.
2) Everything else.

Staff is friendly and very cool. Food was great, but bbq tends to be pretty heavy so I don't have it much. Corn bread is awesome, pork ribs are just phenomenal, and the poutine fries are top notch. We ordered the table breaker for 6 guys and gals and still had food to take home. Gets packed quickly, but for good reason. Definitely get your money's worth here.

The best BBQ in the Northeast. I live down south and look forward to coming back to get their Texas poutine. Brisket is to die for. Great service and atmosphere.

High quality food. Buns have a delicious butter flavor. Fried green tomatoes in the sandwiches was a pleasant surprise. The pork was really tender with crunchy pieces of pork belly. The Cajun corn is awesome!! Now have to try the rotisserie chicken and their home made pies. I also love how well and secure HooDoo packs the takeout food in very sturdy tins. Great job guys!!

I think their rotation selection of BBQ dishes is wonderful. Drink selection is FINE, a few kegs were kicked when we went and it took a while to get drinks to go.

Bacon in a jar was amazing, sausage was amazing, brisket wasn t for me.

I can never be disappointed here. It's the only restaurant I actually don't mind waiting for a table. Why? Because the aroma just makes you enjoy your meal so much more! Thanks for a great dinner and wonderful service yet again

They were out of ribs at 4:00 on a Saturday. Wings and drinks were the best thing we had.

Best barbecue in Fairfield County

There are two other places that are really good Sanger B Norwalk and Stamford but if I have to make the 30-minute Drive this is definitely where I'm going

The only even slightly weak link I've experienced with them is the cornbread which isnot the style that I like but even that is 9 out of 10

The one thing that's a little inconvenient is they don't open till 4:30 most days so if I'm traveling by in the middle of the day I can't pick up anything

Really worth the drive. The best BBQ in the state of Connecticut. We got the nachos and it was loaded with brisket and pull porked. The table breaker platter really serves 8 people.

What a shame that the BBQ is so good but the wait at the table was unacceptable. Really wish they could focus on the customer as much as they do the que. Sorry for the mixed review but you missed the mark.

Sausage is great, pulled pork is good. Ribs were a miss as well as our brisket which is a problem for a bbq joint. Apps are good.

Fantastic meal! Ordered the Texas holy Trinity for 5 people and we finished about half of it. HUGE portions!

Decided to go here for my birthday. Yes, I was a little disappointed to find out, they do not offer a bday discount or specials. S'okay, not every place does. Ordered the Dodge City burger with seasoned fries. The burger was cooked the way I liked, the fries a bit over done. Ordered dessert and coffee. Have to say, the coffee was horrible. Plus, they do not offer cream for the coffee, only milk. Add in, the waitress attitude was "indifferent", like, oh boy, table of 1. To her credit, she did remove the coffee when I complained. Overall, I could have gone places closer to me for a mediocre meal, and indifferent service.

All the food was very good... but hands down the brisket took the prize!! We will be back to try the prime rib!

We had the family meal. This is by far the best BBQ I've ever eaten! All ten of us that ate here agree!

Food was good and staff friendly. Drinks were very good. Sitting near the bar wasn't ideal, patrons loud and little rowdy with the games on. Prices were not bad for the food either.

I will say I was a little disappointed. I had great things so it was top of my list of restaurants to try. When we got there, there was an hour or so wait on top of that everything I wanted to try they ran out of!!!! I really wanted the chicken and waffles but unfortunately they ran out so inside I had the brisket which I wasn t a fan of and mac and cheese which was just alright. The drinks were actually really good I will give them that. And our service was great. Although our waitress was swamped she was still really attentive and professional.

The best barbecue brisket. Period. The poutine is awesome, too.

The food was good for what we were able to taste. By the time we sat down which was almost an hour later the only meat options they had left was brisket and chicken. The drinks were ok, could've been better.
I would give it a second chance if I knew they were going to have more options of meat that they list on their own menu. They also have a take out window which is nice if you just want to bring home the food.

My new favorite barbecue. Wish it was closer to me. Fast friendly service, good drink list, delicious BBQ food. I'll definitely try to make it back - it's worth the trip!

The brisket is incredible. The sweet potato fries are delicious. So is the bacon, pork, chicken and just about everything they offer. Usually a good beer selection, too.

Usually a good spot...but DO NOT CATER from here! We pre-ordered for super bowl Sunday with a 4:30pm pick-up time and didn t walk out with our order until 5:50pm! We were not comped in any way, even after waiting for over an hour. They also ran out of brisket and some orders weren t even in their system - never again! The owners only response was your food is coming. Needless to say they bit off more than they could chew and were not at all prepared!
